If you're just trying to merge multiple iTunes libraries, you can use Apple's Homeshare feature. You will need at least two computers and just sign in to the account you want to keep on your newest Mac. Then sign in to one of the other accounts on another laptop and turn Homeshare on on both computers. You should be able to drag over the music files you want onto your new iTunes library. Then just rotate through the accoutns on the second computer or just rotate through the computers that the accounts are on.
Not sure if this is what you're trying to do. But I do agree with varjak paw that you can't merge accounts, but you could try to move everything into one library.

  • Can I use multiple apple ids with iTunes Match?

My family has multiple apple ids although we share many devices.  If we subscribe to iTunes Match, will it pull all the content from all the devices or just one apple id?

iTunes Match is associated with one, and only one, iTunes Store account. To use iTM on multiple devices all those devices must be signed into the mobile iTunes Store with the same AppleID.

  • Using multiple Apple ids for iTunes match

    Hi,
I have one Apple id that I use for downloading music and apps on both iTunes and my ios devices, as well as itunes match. I have another that I use for for icloud. My iTunes match subscription is due to expire and I want to use my icloud apple id as my new iTunes Match apple id. If I made purchases with the prior apple id, and used that id for iTunes Match, and now want to change the iTunes Match apple id to my icloud apple id, will iTunes Match sync my music with the new apple id even though the purchases were made on the older id? Or do I have to use the same apple id for iTunes Match that I used to purchase the music in my iTunes library?
    Hope my question makes sense.
    Thanks,
    Steven

iTunes Match can not be transferred to another Apple ID. It is a associated with the iTunes Store account ID you used to purchase it. You can, however, change your Apple ID: http://support.apple.com/kb/HE40

  • Issues with multiple apple IDs and iTunes accounts

I work in an office that is all mac based and have mac computers at home.  I have an apple ID and iTunes account for personal use where I purchase books and music and I have an office apple ID and iTunes account to share calendars with colleagues using iCloud and purchase work related apps like upgrades to operating systems, etc.
I have an iPhone that is set up with my personal apple ID so that my music is on my phone and so that the photo streaming is attached to personal photos, etc.  Is there a way to sync my personal contacts with my contacts that are registered with my professional apple ID?  Ideally, I would like to have my iOS devices syncing my calendar and contacts with my work apple ID and my music and photos with my personal ID.  Is there any hope or am I stuck?
Thanks for any help anyone might have...

    Welcome to the Apple community.
So far as contacts and calendars go, you can share your works data and your personal data with your iOS device by entering the second account as a secondary account in settings > mail, contacts and calendars.
You should also be aware that your iCloud and iTunes accounts and different accounts, you do not have to use the same ID for both.

  • Multiple apple id's/itunes accounts

I have multiple itunes/apple id's since I purchased my first mac computer. I am trying to consolodate but am having trouble due to this fact. One is an apple id with a gmail account and that is the one I sign on to itunes with but my icloud account is different.
I am finding this very confusing and am unable to resolve. When I call apple , no one seems to be able to help.
Does anyone have an idea where to start with someothing like this?

  • Multiple Apple TVs - one iTunes Host ?

Is that possible at all ? I would choose Apple TVs to equip a building if it is possible to hook them up to one iTunes host.
I've built similar systems for audio, with Airport Expresses.
A second question I couldn't find an answer for:
Is there password protection for streaming access from a mobile device ?
I don't want guest A to be able to stream his stuff to room B....

yes, providing your network has enough bandwidth to handle all the traffic.
the original appletv had a limit of 5 devices to 1 itunes library, not sure if the new one has the same limit as it is using a different method to connect to itunes (HomeSharing).

that is AirPlay you are talking about, and that isn't available yet (that only comes with iOS4.2 which isn't out yet).
so until that is released, you won't find an answer to that. however i doubt there will be password protection for that.

  • Multiple Apple IDs, one iTunes library

I'm backing up 3 iPhones to the iTunes on my laptop.
iPhone 1: My iPhone 5, syncs and backup to iTunes via USB cable.
iPhone 2: My dad's iPhone 4S, syncs and backup to iTunes automatically when charging over WiFi.
iPhone 3: My mom's iPhone 4S, syncs and backup to iTunes automatically when charging over WiFi.
We each have our own Apple ID and do not intend to share apps and music with each other.
The problem with this setup is, for some reasons, the apps that my parents installed on their iPhones are now asking for my Apple ID when updating.
How should I prevent this from happening? Am I missing something?
My goal is simple, I want apps installed on my parents' phones to remain theirs, and automatically backs up their iPhones to the iTunes on my laptop whenever they are plugged in and charging.

Since the three of you are using separate iTunes accounts, then you each need to run your own itunes, which should be logged into the itunes store using each individual account.  For that, on a laptop, you each need to have your own computer accounts.

  • HT1373 Authorizing Multiple Apple IDs on iTunes

Years ago, when first signing up to use iTunes, I registered an ID and Password.  After some time and buying many songs, I changed my Apple ID and Password.  I recently purchased a new computer and discovered in order to get all my purchased songs on my new computer I needed to authorized the computer twice, once with the "old" ID and Password, and again with the "new" ID and Password.
This could mean I have two independent accounts with Apple, but I can't find any evidence my old account information exists anywhere with Apple except under the above-described circumstances.
I would like to get all iTunes purchases associated with my current ID and password.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    JD

Yoiu cannot move purchases between Apple ID. Instead authorise your machine with the old Apple id. This will enable you to play and sync that content but you will still use your current Apple ID for newpurchases.
To find the old account. Right clcik on one of the songs that gives this error and select Get Info. On the summary page is listed what apple id was used to purchase the track.
Authorise tour compiter and you will have evrything in 1 itunes to lay and sync but new purchases still use your newer Apple ID

  • Multiple Apple TVs, one iTunes source...

Before I jump in and buy a couple of these for my house, I wanted to make sure that I can set up two rooms with Apple TVs and have one computer elsewhere feeding both. From the website, it is not clear if there is a one-to-one relationship between an iTunes server and Apple TV client, or if more than one client can hook up and the system will work.
    Can someone inform me?

well is there any way for me to change that helpful to solved? I thought I could do both heh.

  • Multiple Apple TV question.

I have 3 Apple TV's. (One in my bedroom, one in the living room and just hooked up a new 160G Apple TV in our home theater in the basement.)
My question is this. If I rent a movie on say the Apple TV in the home theater and want to finish watching it in my bedroom can the movie be moved between Apple TV's?
    Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the  Discussion Forums.
If the movie is SD then yes.
I'm afraid I can't say for HD, we don't have movie rentals yet here.

  • Multiple Apple TVs and iTunes Match problem

I have three Apple TVs and have iTunes Match - my full library of music only shows on one Apple TV - on the other two Apple TVs it displays only recently purchased songs from iTunes - any ideas

Maybe I should be more specific...
We have three atv's. The kids want to play their own iTunes Match playlists on one of the atvs with their apple id and we would like our own iTunes Match playlists on the other atvs. But when we change the apple id on one atv, it changes the id on the other two so that they are all synced. Is there a way to have mutliple atvs with different iTunes Match apple ids active at the same time on the same network?
I would prefer not to use home sharing to avoid having two iTunes apps open.
    Any advice would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Chris

  • Yet another iCloud with multiple Apple IDs question

I have a Mac, iPhone 3G, and an iPad 2. My wife has an iPod. I have historically synced via the desktop, and my music, calendar, contacts, etc. have shared just fine. I have a Mobile Me account which may or may not be doing anything for me. I understand it's going away anyhow.
Two of my devices share the same Apple ID, and one has a different ID. I don't know what my wife's iPod has for an Apple ID. One of the Apple IDs is a @me.com address.
I have set things up for iCloud, trying to have my calendar, photos, etc. come alive at once like they do in the commercials. After hours reading others' frustrations on here, I still am unsure how to proceed.
I can't change my @me.com AppleID because that is apparently against the rules. I can't add my other email address as a secondary address, because I am informed that that address is already verified as being in use (of course it is, by me). It won't let me change my other Apple ID to an @me.com address because that is also apparently against the rules.
Is there ANY solution that let's me keep syncing my music, plus let's me sync my calendar, contacts, photos, etc. in the Cloud? I don't want to lose any of my current information.

Thanks for the quick reply.  I don't think it helps me.
My Mac and iphone have the same Apple ID.  I innocently created a different AppleID when I bought my iPad. ([email protected]).  I want them to sync automatically. They don't because they have different "clouds."
I don't want to have to log in to sync everything.  If that were the case, I would just go on syncing every night via the Mac. Is there a way to get to where my iPad syncs with the other two?
Am I missing something simple here?

  • Itunes producer prices

When we try to send a new eBook (epub 2.0) to the Apple store with iTunes Producer 3,1 (577) we can't add any prices in the prices's territory tab.
The "+" symbol is grey. And there is a red "1" on the top icon.
    No other errors elsewhere...
    What is wrong?

I had the same issue. I my case I had installed and launched iTunes Producer after getting the iTunes book contract accepted, but before filling out the contacts, banking, and tax information. After entering the contacts, banking, and tax information, it still didn't work. I then deleted the iTunes Producer app and rebooted my Mac. After the reboot, I reinstalled iTunes Producer and was able to add territories and set up the pricing information.

  • Itunes producer 2.4

I am trying to submit an ebook to apple using the itunes producer 2.4.
Does anyone know where the link is to download itunes producer

Take a look at this link, it walks you through the process.  It says the actual producer is in the mac app store.  I cannot check as we are having power/ internet issues here following the storm. (thank god for hotspot)

  • ITunes Producer will not accept my Apple ID

I created yet another Apple ID so I could submit my ebook created with iBooks Author to Apple.  I've used this new Apple ID at apple.itunesconnect.com, and also used it in iBooks Author to publish the book i.e., File -> Publish.  But whenever I try to login to iTunes Producer, I get a message saying "Your Apple ID or password was entered incorrectly".  As I mentioned, this same Apple ID and passord works everywhere else.
I suspect there is a bug in iTunes Producer when it parses the Apple ID.  Mine contains a plus sign and is similar to this:
I've read many other posts about people having problems logging into iTunes Producer as well.  I tried apple.com/support, and could not find anywhere to enter a support incident for iBooks Author or Producer.  Just great.
    <Email Edited by Host>

I wrote - I feel sure the + is not allowed....   this is based on settting up various email accounts I use... I did not say it was NOT allowed by Apple ID sign ups.
IF  in  fact  you have creating an email and used it as your username.. then obvioulsy its OK.
You  wrote...."I created yet another Apple ID "     You need to resolve the ID issues with your original paid books account rather than  keep adding new accounts.
    To confirm:-
    1. Basic Apple sign up account to buy app. music etc,. ( iTunes account)
    2. Free Book account ( sign up for iTunes Connect  also with this ID) - needs to be different from above and even if not mandatory... its a wise option.
    3. Paid book account/linked iTunesConnect account. Needs to be separate from (1) (2)  and needs Contracts and Banking - EIN and any specific  Apple requiremembts for your country.
    4.  iTunesProducer, -  you need to make sure the account iD it is showing - or the one you login with -  is the one you want/need  to upload books.
If you have   multiple accounts and used them in attempts to  login, it may have changed its last account used.  That said iTunesProducer v3 is a new layout and may not.
