Multiple apple users one account woes

Can someone help me?
I have one apple ID that I use for Itunes, AppleTV, Icloud and my Iphone. My problem is now I have 3 Iphones under one roof now; can I still use the same apple ID for all Iphones?
If I use the same ID how will Icloud know which Iphone is which? I got 3 users on my computer and over 100Gb on my Itunes library how will that work?
I would like each phone to be separate (contacts and photograph) but still able to use the Itunes library.
Thanks
gus

Hudgie's advice is correct. But if you want more detailled instructions read this Apple document:

  • Seem to have multiple apple ids one on computer one on iPod cannot use iTunes because password for old id not recognized cannot update user name for ipod

why are they all different. Why don't I have just one id?
    I cannot update apps.
    password for username not recognized
I want one apple id for everything
    one password for everything
I cannot retrieve or reset anything for itunes to update apps

It appears that you have apps on the iPod that wer purchased with more than one iTunes account.  If one from more than one iTunes account need updating, you need to update them one at a time (not update all) until all the remianing apps were purchased from one account.  You may need to change the accont the iPId is signed into by go to Settings>Store and signing out and in.
    Accounts can't be merged.

  • Multiple ipads on one account

I need to manage several iPads. Can I use one account for all in terms of downloading apps?

    Hi Guy3a,
Legally, if different users are using your group of iPads you will need to use multiple Apple IDs to download apps, or sign up for Apple's Volume Purchase Plan (VPP). For multiple users like in schools or businesses you need to use VPP to purchase multiple licenses (can't share one Apple ID for 10 devices used by 10 students). http://www.apple.com/business/vpp/
    APP STORE PRODUCT USAGE RULES
( i )If you are an individual acting in your personal capacity, you may download and sync an App Store Product for personal, noncommercial use on any iOS Device you own or control.
( ii ) If you are a commercial enterprise or educational institution, you may download and sync an App Store Product for use by either (a) a single individual on one or more iOS Devices used by that individual that you own or control or (b) multiple individuals, on a single shared iOS Device you own or control. For example, a single employee may use an App Store Product on both the employee's iPhone and iPad, or multiple students may serially use an App Store Product on a single iPad located at a resource center or library. For the sake of clarity, each iOS Device used serially by multiple users requires a separate license.
If you are an educational institution or business you will want to enroll in Apple's Volume Purchase Program (VPP) which allows a single Apple ID to purchase multiple licenses of an app. Most developers will offer a 50% discount on their app when 20 or more VPP licenses are purchased in a single transaction.
There is a free OS X program called Apple Configurator that you can use to distribute the VPP codes to your fleet of iPads. Apple Configurator uses a single Apple ID to install apps on your iPads. Configurator will also allow you to install free apps on multiple iPads using a single enterprise Apple ID. See http://help.apple.com/configurator/mac/1.0/ for details.
    Hope this answers your question!

  • Multiple People on one account

When I had initially set up my apple account, it was under my dad's name since I was a minor. Now, my dad, myself, and my mom are all apple users but operate off of one computer. We would like to use the benefit of the cloud for sharing contacts but only with our own devices.
For example, my mom wants her contacts and calendar on her iPad and iPhone... But I don't want to see those on my iPhone.
I know that we need to set us up on separate account, so I created my mom one to use for herself.
Now, how do I switch to using this account on her iPad and iPhone WITHOUT losing all of the work/music/photos that she already created?

Well that would be nice, except for the fact that if you do not enter any info then it will actually blank out the first and last name of your address book contact for your account.

  • Multiple iPad on one account with iCloud

I would like to update some business iPad (all over the US) from our office (in CA). Is there a way to sync multiple iPads to one iCloud account? However, I would only like to update certain apps (Keynote, movies and some documents). Is there a way to push data to their devices without them pushing anything back to me.
    Thanks!

iPods are sync'd to iTunes libraries (what you see on your computer), not iTunes accounts (which are used to purchase items).

No. Anything purchased is always purchased by that same account and cannot be changed.
He can copy these items to his computer and use them in his iTunes library.
If you authorize his cmputer for your iTunes acoount (iTunes menu Store > Authorize computer)  when he plugs in his iPod, select it in iTunes and select File > Transfer purchases.

  • How to set multiple senders for one account

    Hi all,
I have a BIS account with my provider and a paid gmail account which collect for me mails from different address. Is it possible to set multiple senders for this account, thus it seems that I'm replying from one of these address and not only from my google address? In fact, it's important for me also that all mails come out from the same SMTP server (google).
    Thanks in advance.
    Best regards,
    Pierluigi

For the BlackBerry to "send using" a specific email account, it must be set up on your BIS account as an email account, otherwise, you can send from that account.
You can do that, and then block ALL incoming emails from those accounts, and allow only incoming mail from your one Gmail account, if you desire.

I lost my ipod, how do you disconnect it from your apple account?

iTunes Store: Associating a device or computer to your Apple ID
    lost/stolen
    - If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
    - You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
    - If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
    - Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
    - There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it.

  • Multiple Apple Ids - One Mac Book

    Hello,
I need some advice.  My husband and I have been going along just fine with two separate apple IDs and one computer. But recently we replaced our computer and now we're setting up our accounts on our new mac book.  We've come across the issue that only one apple ID can be associated with this device and the other is locked for 90 days.
I have read lots about this and I hope I am wrong in understanding that only one apple ID can be associated per lap top?
We are a young family and I cant afford a second computer just make itunes happy. My husband and I dont want to share an apple ID and I understand that even if we wanted to accounts cant be merged.
So my question is... how is a family expected to use a lap top to manage multiple itunes accounts?
Homesharing only makes sense if we've ALWAYS had one ID, but we have two now and each have established libraries - so what is the advice in managing this going forward?
    We have:
    - Apple TV, with each itunes account available and easy to switch between
    - Individual Iphones with individual itunes IDs
    -Mac Book Pro
Would really appreciate any help or advice on this matter...
    Warmly,
    Michelle

Since the three of you are using separate iTunes accounts, then you each need to run your own itunes, which should be logged into the itunes store using each individual account.  For that, on a laptop, you each need to have your own computer accounts.

  • Two users, one account, two separate email accounts

I recently upgraded my iMac 17" G5 to a 24" Core 2 Duo and I would like to set it up with one administrator account since it is only myself and my girlfriend that will be using this computer. Can I have this one user account and use Mail for both of our Mobile Me accounts, but not have Mail group everything into one inbox? I know I can set up the multiple accounts in Mail, but it then groups both of our inboxes into one. Is there any way to separate our Mail accounts without creating separate user accounts and having to switch each time one of us sits down?
    Thanks

No. that's what separate user accounts are for. either use that or have all mail in the same inbox. however, the whole inbox has submailboxes fro each email account and those are separate.

  • Multiple .mac users, One calendar

Can multiple .mac logins read AND write to one shared iCal?

This sort of access is not supported by current releases of Mac OS X and iCal.
When Mac OS X 10.5 ships in the fairly near term, it will include a version of iCal intended to work with the iCal Server and Teams, both of which will be components of Mac OS X Server 10.5.
    Calendaring Server
"The Darwin Calendar Server allows users to collaboratively share calendars across an organization. It provides a shared location to store their schedules and sync them between machines. It also allows users to send each other invitations to events. Implemented using the CalDAV protocol, it supports multiple calendaring clients, including Leopard’s iCal, Mozilla’s Sunbird, OSAF’s Chandler, and Microsoft Outlook."
More information about the open-source Darwin Calendar Server is available here:
    http://trac.macosforge.org/projects/calendarserver
That application will give you a virtual roadmap to the development direction Apple is taking with iCal under future releases of the Mac OS.
