Multiple Artwork Covers Issue & Grouping Question

My favorite band is The Smashing Pumpkins. Their latest album +Teargarden by Kaleidyscope+ is being released one song at a time online for free and in 11 different limited EPs that will compose the whole album. My problem here is that there a two artwork covers, one for the entire album and a second for each EP (only one EP has been released, the first song for the second EP is out). The first EP displays with the EP cover but the one song from the second EP only displays the overall album cover. How do I get my Classic to display only one cover instead of picking randomly (as it seems)?
The following question deals with the same album. I want to group the EPs that are to be released in the future so that on my Classic I see only one big album instead of multiple EPs. Unlike their Machina II these EPs have subtitles for them. What I am wanting is one album cover to display (the overall album artwork), the name to display as +Teargarden by Kaleidyscope+ not +Teargarden by Kaleidyscope Vol. 1: Songs for a Sailor+ which is the name of the first EP in the album section of my Classic. Is all of this possible?

Multiple artwork covers & songs out of order

When I import certain CD's into iTunes, the program sometimes separates the one album into several different ones. In most cases this happens when there is a featuring artist. I realize that if the 'Album Artist' is different for each song, iTunes recognizes it as an entirely different album. I've tried checking compilation, but in this particular case I actually have 3 different albums for this artist and when I check compilation, iTunes combines all 3 albums. I want to have ONE album cover assigned to ALL of the songs from the album.
Another problem I have is that sometimes iTunes rearranges the order of the songs within the album. What causes this, and how can I change the order back to the way it's supposed to be?
Someone please help!

The column header as seen in the photo above (click on photo and it'll appear larger in a pop open, floating window) is a great tool for help sorting songs in your library or in a playlist. If you are viewing your library in Album view or Grid view you won't see any columns, you'll only see an image of the album. While fun, it's also limiting the way you manage your library. Choose a library view that shows your stuff in a list view. VIEW> AS LIST or AS COVER FLOW.
In the photo I've 'sorted' by number of Plays so the songs played the most will appear at the top of my playlist. In this case, the top song has played 11 times.
You can also sort by Track#, Genre, Artist. Simply click/select the header and the library or list will sort according to the sort perameter. You can customize the information in the Header by going again to the pull down menu VIEW>VIEW OPTIONS.

Duplicate the tracks, then edit the properties of the duplicates. Or make a playlist, but then you don't get to add different artwork. You cannot make one physical audio file part of two different albums.

Multiple certificates on Issuing CA server

Hi,
Due to errors multiple certificates were issued from Root CA server for SubCA. Although old certificate was revoked from Root, but I see 2 certificates on Issuing CA. Also, because of 2 certificates, 2 CRLs are getting published everytime for each. Although
when I see web server certificate issued for IIS, it was signed by new certificate of Issuing CA. Also, in PKIview, I see CDP path for this CA with new CRL.
But my questions is that how shall I remove old one from Issuing CA as I am not gettign that option. Also, in AD i see 2 certficaates published for that CA. Will that cause any issue.

This is actually a normal state in PKI. When you renew a sub CA with a new key pair, ot will result in multiple CRL files.
- there is no need to remove the previous subca cert
- there is no need to revoke the previous subca cert (unless there are config or security issues)
- make sure the AIA paths use %4 in the paths to keep separate versions
- make sure that the CDP paths use %9 in the paths to keep separate versions
- make sure you publish *all* versions of .crts and .crls to *all* publication points
You need to leave all versions of the CA certs in play so that both current and previously issued certs can be validated

Multiple App syncing issues...

Hello, all.
I am having multiple application synching issues. I have a half dozen devices and have never had any of these issues before about a week ago. May have had an iTunes update? Here are the issues.
1.     Some Apps re-installing even though no update was available.
2.     Some apps not completely installing and showing with an empty progress bar through the icon.
3.     Apps that are not supposed to sync to a particular device are.
4.     Apps re-installing outside of their designated folders.
Anyone having any of these issues? It is pretty frustrating since I never know what I am going to end up with after a sync.

Only select the apps that you want to sync.
It will only sync what you tell it to sync to each device.

Are you trying to add more users or groups through Group Policy Management Security Filtering tab?
Try right clicking on the policy and then edit
Then in Editor Right click on the name of the policy and Properties
Security tab and add user or group from this tab. Just make sure if you are adding user or groups "Select this object type" has
the correct option also "From this Location" is set to your entire directory not the local server.

ITunes 9.2 stops adding multiple artwork in multiple selection mode. Help?

Hi everybody,
Since 2003 I've been using iTunes and adding multiple artwork in several tracks at once.
Lets say: I added 10 tracks of a CD to iTunes library, then selected all of them and then right click to choose "Get Info > Multiple Item Information". Then I just dragged and dropped as many artwork pieces as I wanted onto the artwork window, one by one. Clicked OK and voilá.
Now it will only accept one artwork. Following the procedure I used to do, now it will only take the last artwork I place onto the artwork window.
Now the only way to get multiple artwork in a CD is adding all the artwork (lets say the 20 pages of the booklet) one by one in "each track" separately!, which is a pain in the neck.
So now I have to add artwork one by one to each track one at a time.
Is there a NEW way to add multiple artwork on multiple tracks at once in iTunes 9.2?

Hi- you might've already figured this out on your own, but:
A) add the first artwork picture (what you want for your cover artwork) using "Get Info > Multiple Item Information" - and close the Multiple Item Information window
B) with the multiple tracks still selected, drag your additional artwork picture items into the artwork panel in the lower left corner of the iTunes window (this is the artwork panel titled "selected item").
C) your additional artwork will be added to all of the selected items. You can click through the artworks using the left/right arrows above the artwork panel.
Obviously you can also use this same method to add that same additional artwork to any other tracks, from other albums, etc. simply by selecting them as well.
Side note, the easiest way to select all tracks from a single album: select the starting track, then use ctrl-shift and select the ending track- all tracks between those two will be selected.
Aaaaaand you're done! Hope this helps!

The Profile Manager is for all versions of Firefox you have installed - every Profile that is listed in the '''profiles.ini''' file will appear there. The location of the Profile folders has no effect on what the Profile Manager dialog window shows. There is no way to set it up relative to one program installation.
Best thing to do is to have separate desktop shortcuts for each Profile / Firefox-version you want to use.

Import multiple contacts into a group from an email message

I have received an email from which I wish to import the additional contacts into my address book.
I used to be able to drag/drop them into my address book all at once, but can't any more.
I have also tried drag/drop into a Numbers file to try to convert to a csv and then import, but it copied all the addresses into a single field and I couldn't get them to separate.
UGH. How can I import multiple contacts into a group in my address book from an email message?

That is a few too many to do one at a time.
Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.

Multiple Boot Camp Issues & Questions

I installed windows xp on my late 2008 macbook a couple months back. My Mac has 4gb RAM and 250gb HDD. I allotted 80gb to Windows XP, as I use it to run 3D Studio Max as well as Adobe CS4. Ever since the Mac side has been running sluggish (not horrible, just not like before) It's restarts are much longer for example, and it seems the fan is working harder, regardless of it being in Mac OS X or Windows XP.
Now, I know its not the Windows partion size, because i originally had a 32gb partition and it just wasnt big enough, but it actually ran slower then. All I'm wondering is:
-could there be something wrong with my fan?
I downloaded Fan control and on average the left fan says 1600rpm and the right fan says - 1prm(why is hte right so low?)
-is there anything i can do to optimize my mac to perform at its best?
-will bootcamp 3.0 (coming with snow leopard) be able to run 64bit windows vista/7?
Sorry for the long post, but if anybody could answer some or all of my questions, it'd be greatly appreciated.

Once you have Windows installed and in use, it behaves no differently than Windows on a PC. In addition, you may run into issues related to Apple-specific hardware.

New to the product - question about validating multiple fields as a group

I have a static form that I'm building from a word document. Part of that form requires a person to fill any 3 out 5 text fields.
Since it looks like scripts are applied on a field by field basis, is it possible to have a script that encompasses multiple fields?
Would any script need to be applied to each field in turn?
Assuming the answer to question 1 is a yes, how would you script it to require x number of fields out of a total of y to have some sort of content in order to validate?
I'm pretty familiar with JavaScript and am looking at the Scripting reference guides but was hoping for a helping hand to get me there quicker as I'm in a bit of a time crunch - doing 18 forms with validation and database connectivity by January 15 certainly qualifies in my book.
I would assume you'd do something like this but am unsure of the syntax...
Get values of each field
Set a valid counter variable for the number of fields with content
If field 1 is not empty, increment the valid counter
(rinse and repeat)
if the valid counter is less than 3 throw an error message

1). Yes, scripting within Livecycle can be for a single field or even static text, images and other artifacts within the PDF. Really anything, within Adobe's reason, when it comes to scripting.
2). It depends on what you want to do. Things like field validations, calculations and other instances where fields are tied togther really dictate how the script runs.
3). Fields that have calculations or validations with them work in the same, I believe. So for example I have a PDF that I made that is an Excel-type sheet that contains a few hundred cells and every single one has some type of validation or calculation associated with it. I generally run the calculations/validations from the user inputting the data and then after that the script runs, but again, it really dpeneds on what you are doing and with what, so answering some of your questions are a bit difficult.
Javascrip/Formcalc are wonderful tools within PDF, but don't forget the Action Builder (Tools -Action Builder). It is a set of preloaded actions that are turn-key. Just select the cells that will have the action and select the result you want from the preloaded list of actions, using those actions can get you very far, and most of all; they are quick to implement without researching code. So for example, you could use the Action Builder to create an action that checks certain fields and if they are null to return a 1 value to a specific numericField (these could be hidden). Then have a "total" numericField (this would be your counter) that adds all of those fields with the 1 in it. Then create another Action Builder for that "total" numericField and if it is less than 3, display a message box that is a warning.
