Hi,
I have a requirement to attachment MULTIPLE files in mail . ie i have 2 reports have to be executed and results will have to be send thru single mail
Can anybody give some info related to this .

However - I can't be the first or only person with this problem so I figure that some workaround must be known out there. Maybe the import action can recognize date taken or - well. Thank you very much in advance if you can help me out here.
You can alsways set the downloader to rename the imported files with a unique new name, there are many options in the 'advanced' dialog of the downloader. I don't know about Macs, but I don't thing there is a difference.

Query related to multiple attachments in mail adapter

Hi,
I have a query related to multiple attachments in receiver mail adapter.
I have successfully configured mail related scenarios but now I have another requirement in which I have multiple source files in one directory and I want to send one mail for multiple files as mail attachment using receiver mail adapter. Can anybody help me how to achieve multiple attachments in reciever mail adapter.
To clarify the requirement more let us take an example
Ex: I have 5 input files in the source which I pick up using additional files option in the sender file adapter, now I want to send those 5 files into one mail with 5 attachments. Can anybody explain how 5 different payload will be sent as multiple attachments in one mail.
For your information I used, options like "keep attachments" , some parameters in module processesors etcs...but not able to find out as how exactly it will be achieved.......I dont want to use BPM collect pattern for this.....
Need your help on this issue. Please suggest the solution as how it can be achieved using receiver mail adapter.

I haven't been able to figure out how from the mail application send docs, worksheets etc as attachment. Also how to attach multiple docs in the mail. Looking for help on this.

You need to start in the app that contains the files that you want to send as attachments and use that app's functionality to select and attach files to an email, and not start in the Mail app e.g. the GoodReader app supports multiple document types (word and excel, read only, PDFs, text files, pictures) and allows you to select one or more of them and attach/switch with them to an email.
In the Mail app itself on iOS 6 you can now press and hold the body of the email and select photos from the Photos app to attach to it.

You can't do it natively on the iPad (unless you just want to send up to 5 photos from the Photos app). I use the GoodReader app which supports quite a few document/file types (e.g. PDF, Excel, Word, pictures), and from that I can select multiple files (including different types) and attach them to the same email.

Saving Multiple Attachments in iOS mail

I've run into a few problems / issues, searched the forums for a solution, and will turn my ignorance over to the internet....
Three problems, First is an inability to save multiple attachments in mail - be in to DropBox, Adobe Reader, FileManager, whatever....
I end up switching back and forth between Mail and whatever program I'm saving to by holding my finger on each file, saving to whatever program, and then jumping back.
This brings me to my second problem: when I jump back to the email thread it doens't go back to that same message, it either goes to the next unread message in the thread or to the top (most recent message) in the thread. Six attachments in a message in the middle of a 13 message thread and I've got to tap 30-something times to get the job done. Seems there should be a single "Save All To..." botton somewhere.
Third (and last): is there a way to see attachmentas, and how many, whithout having to scroll down through 13 messages and all associated replies in the thread to get to the bottom of the message and see the attachments? Annoying.

How to save multiple attachments in Lion Mail?

In Snow Leopard Mail, I can save multiple attachments to my Downloads folder with one click. In Lion Mail, I see no way to save attachments except by right-clicking on them one at a time. I must be missing something. Information appreciated.

I believe you are missing something. I'm not on my Mac right now but there should be a setting where to save attachments and also muiltiples at one time.

Most likely you're not specifying the path of a file on the server machine.

How to handle multiple attachments in XI mail sender adapter?

Hi,
is it possible to handle multiple attachments in a mail receiving in XI?
Our customer wants to send us mails with multiple attachments and we have to convert each attachment to an idoc.
But as I know XI (receiving mails) can handle only a single attachment in a mail. Is it true?
Any ideas?

Well, although I have never tried a scenario of picking more than two attachments from one mail, I wonder if its possible in the first place!
Here are the reasons why I think it is possible:-
It is not mentioned anywhere in the SAP Notes for mail adapter that it is not possible.
*It is not mentioned anywhere in the SAP help documentation that it is not possible
*Also, I think if the receiver mail adapter can create more than one attachment, the sender should be able to pick more than one!:)
Have you tried defining a PayloadSwapBean module to pick up more than one attachment?
Just try experimenting with this particular part of the module code:-
Content-Disposition: attachment;filename="MailAttachment-1.xml"
Content-Description: MailAttachment-1

when iam tring to add two or more attachments to a mail,

The error on your code might be:

You don't need to create a new BodyPart, and apart from that you'r seting values on "messageBodyPart" but adding "messageBodyPart1" to your multipart :P

I am sending the PDF generated to a particular mail recipient using the bursting options.
There is requirement in which I have to attach two different PDF's to the mail. These multiple attachments should go in a single mail. Please let me know how we can achieve this.

Handling multiple xls , xlsx attachments in mail adapter

We have a (sender)mail with excel attachment scenario which is converted to an Idoc.
Currently we are using ''PayloadSwapBean" for converting .xls attachment as main payload which is being read using an adapter module.
PFA the screenshot.
We have a new requirement as below
when there are additional attachments in e-mail only the relevant template (MS Excel file) loaded.
Handle all MS Excel format: .XLSX in addition to existing .XLS
ability to process multiple excel file in a mail

Could you please provide the location of PayloadSwapBean file (.Ear,.jar,.class and also provide AL11) Transaction in PI 7.31.
Brief Background:
We have a requirement to read multiple attachment from mail adapter. PayloadSwapBean is capable of reading only single attachment. We would like to see the code of PayloadSwapBean and modify accordingly to meet the requirement.
If there is any alternative could please suggest the solution for read the multiple attachments in sender mail adapter.
