Multiple bridge galleries in dreamweaver

ok, i have searched & not come across anything that has worked. i need multiple galleries i have created in bridge cs5 put on my site. i understand that each index or whatever i change the name to needs to be in it's own folder. but what about the resources folder? the xml files are exclusive to the thumbs & images sizes & also the index file. . . .so, i have 10 resource folders & not sure how to get it all working.
bad thing is, i cannot even load the plain html file & get it to read from the resource folder online. offline, i can get it to do everything i want. . . is there soemthing i am missing?
i do not require embedding the gallery, i can do that, i just need it to work ONLINE live in multiple galleries when someone wants to thumb through each link. any ideas or help MUCH appreciated.

OK, so you have 10 galleries. For this discussion, let's call them:
Bridge1
Bridge2
Bridge3
Bridge4, etc...
And inside each Bridge folder you have an index.html page, assorted images, thumbnails, xml files, etc...
On your main site page, you need to put some links to the various Bridge Gallery folders like so.

<a href="Bridge2/index.html">Link to Bridge2</a>
<a href="Bridge3/index.html">Link to Bridge3</a>
<a href="Bridge4/index.html">Link to Bridge4<a>
etc...
Upload your main site page plus the various Bridge folders to your remote server.
Come back and post a link to your main site page so we can take a look at it.

Where is Bridge support in Dreamweaver 2014?

Dreamweaver 2014 does not have Browse Bridge in File menu and you can't drag files from Bridge into Dreamweaver without being told the file is not in the root folder even though it is. Has Adobe removed Bridge support from Dreamweaver 2014? That is a core part of Adobe program interaction!.

You can drag files from Bridge into Dreamweaver Design View. You will not be told that the file is not in the root folder when you choose a file that is in the root folder. If the file is not in the root folder, it will be placed there if the answer to the alert message was in the affirmative.

Problems with Multiple Photo Galleries

Hey all, I am having issues with multiple photo galleries. The problem is, iWeb will randomly delete old photo libraries when new ones are made.
My workflow is each blog entry has its own Photo Library attached to it, so i really would love to be able to keep this functionality.
Does anyone have any clues as to why they are getting deleted? They literally just vanish from the entries in iWeb...

The simple answer is that Apple's implementation of iWeb's blog appears to be buggy. Create a blank internal page titled "Blog" (Actually you can name the page whatever you want.) Then in that Blog page add an HTML Snippet with the following code:

Multiple flash galleries in catalyst

similar version of a question I posted earlier...
I'm using flashcatalyst and importing slideshowpro lightroom galleries (swf files that call xml files). is there a way to have flash catalyst look not just in the root directory for an SWF's xml files? I can't put multiple galleries in one catalyst file, because I can't seem to get it to look for XML files within directories.
either that, or I'd take any solution toward the end of having multiple flash galleries in a single flash site.

Yes, there is a slideshowpro.swf, and a params.xml and images.xml it seems that slideshowpro.swf wants to look in the directory of the html file, not the relative path of the swf, for the xml files. I had a long chat with slideshowpro support about this, and we tried changing the base param within the HTML file, but it didn't inherit itself all the way to the slideshow pro swf. But I digress...
I actually tried almost the same thing already, but not exactly. Tell me if this make sense:
I built the fancy swf in flash catalyst, and imported the swf in flash catalyst. (I didn't wait until flash builder). Then, knowing what little I know about flash builder, I opened the FXP there, and imported the separate folders into the project structure in the left column (I added assets/images/gallery-headshots/slideshowpro.swf, assets/images/gallery-editorial/slideshowpro.swf).
Then, I clicked on the swf in the state I was focusing on, and changed the "source" field in the right column to the *new* location of the swf within the file structure I imported. I did this simply because I didn't know enough about flash builder to import and place an swf asset myself. This didn't work, unfortunately.
Does that make any sense?

Can Lightroom 4 upload multiple web galleries at a time?

My client wants to group multiple web galleries in a single collection then upload them to his website enmass. I maintain they must be uploaded one at a time. Which is correct?

Lightroom being a 64 bit application can run multiple threads for one task of uploading web galleries in a single collection.
However it cannot handle multiple uploads together.

Is there any way other than a downloaded app to create multiple image galleries? To move images between galleries? Basic gallery manipulations at all?

Bluefire developed the Adobe Media Gallery (i.e. the Flash gallery packaged with Lightroom) and have posted a lot of interesting information about it in their blog. Definitely worth reading up on if you plan to use it.

Autoplay/auto start Bridge galleries on web page

After setting up a Bridge gallery on a web page, how do you make the thing autoplay or auto start upon opening the web page? I can't find a setting in Bridge when setting up the gallery, and I can't seem to find my answer anywhere with an internet search. Do the Bridge galleries offer an auto start or do you have to manually click the play button to begin the slide show all the time? Please advise. Thanks

Multiple web galleries in one website

Hi guys,
Is there anyway to have multiple web galleries in one website,
ie linked off one page
Gallery 1
Gallery 2
Gallery 3
I can rename the swf, and js files and it works fine, but when i rename the gallery.xml file to what i want, it wont work.
Have opened the .xml file and resaved as what i wanted also
Is there anyway for me to modify the names? so i can have a few different galleries on the one site?

I would start afresh. I would also use Dreamweaver's template system to make thing a lot easier. Have a look at the following, copy and paste into a new document and view in your favourite browser.

Building multiple CS3 Photoshop Galleries in Dreamweaver

I built several galleries with Bridge/Photoshop that can't
connect to my index.html because it won't allow me. i am sure this
problem will be fix to do in an easier way in the future, in the
meantime, i need help in how to add a "home" (index.html) link to
each of my gallleries' front pages. thanks in advance for your
prompt reply.

You can only have one "home" or index.html in any given
folder.
You can create multiple folders and put each index.html file
in a seperate
folder so your address to each "home" page would be:
www.sitename.com/gallery1 and opening that folder would open
the index.html
page.
If you need them all to be in one folder, rename the gallery
files inside
Dreamweaver and DW will update all of the links to that page
on your site.

Help! Multiple Bridge Web Photo Galleries in my site

RunI am in need of some help and I posted this in Bridge and didn't get an answer.
I have a website and I used bridge to make my photo galleries. I downloaded the photo galleries bridge made into two different temporary folders outside of dreamweaver and then changed the name from index.html to "deck.html" (photos of a deck we built) and "of.html" (photos of an outdoor fireplace we built). Everything worked fine. I copied the deck.html file and the resources folder into my site folder and then linked a thumbnail of the deck to the deck.html file. Everything worked fine and the gallery loaded.
Now, I know that I can't put the resources folder into my site of the of.html gallery due to the same name so I changed it to resources2. I then put the of.html and resources2 folder into my site folder. I then checked the code to find where it was pointing to the resources folder to change it to resources2. This is what i did:
changed <script src=resources... to <script src=resources2...
I then linked a thumbnail of the outdoor fireplace to the of.html, but the deck.html gallery loaded
I am assuming that I am not changing the code correctly to link to the group.xml file which contains the images to load and the other files in my resources2 folder. When the link is clicked it loads the original deck.html gallery and I thought that somewhere in the AC_RunActiveContent.js it must be linking to the resource folder and not the resouces2 folder. I have searched through all the files in the resources2 folder and the of.html and I can't find where to change the code.
Please, any help would be appreciated. Also, if there is some other way to do this let me know.

the group.xml file has the information for what images to load. When previewing the outdoor fireplace web gallery "of.html" it loads the "deck.html" web gallery. I believe this is because in one of the files it is requesting the info from the group.xml file from the resourses folder. I need to find where the code is that directs it to the group.xml and change it to group2.xml and rename that group.xml file for "of.html" to group2.xml in the resourses2 folder.

CS5 Bridge Galleries

Hello all, I am running Bridge CS5 in Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. I am having trouble getting the web galleries to work. I did some Google searches and really didn't find anything useful. I have tried uploading the gallery via Dreamweaver and Bridge to no avail. When I go to the gallery, it hangs at loading images. Does not matter what type of gallery I try.
I decided to open the Bridge created .swf files in Flash to see if I could track down what is happening. When I do that I get a number of "error opening url" messages in Flash. The errors point to files and or folders that Bridge never created, but the .swf file is looking for them.
Any help on what is happening? All programs are CS5. It works fine if I test it in the browser locally.

Adobe Bridge Buttons in Dreamweaver, Flash, and Fireworks?

Hello,
Adobe says that the button to connect to Adobe bridge is in
every CS3 application. I can find it in Photoshop, Illustrator, and
even Contribute, a former Macromedia project, but none of the other
Macromedia projects (Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks) have one. Am I
missing it, or is this a glitch?

Go to Edit > Prefs > Enable Version Cue. Once you do
that look in the lower left corner of the flash
application - you should see "Open" with an arrow. Clicking
on it will popup "Reveal in Bridge" button.

Adding multiple swf files to Dreamweaver

I'm trying to upload multiple .swf files to my website with
no luck. I've done this with previous versions of Dreamweaver but
with CS3 I'm finding it won't happen. I've done the Insert ->
Media -> Flash action as before and exported my files to be read
in Adobe Player 8 but nothing then happens after the files have
been uploaded yet locally everything works fine. I've uploaded a
scripts file also but all of the .swf files are linked from
different folders, could this have any effect?
What am I doing wrong?

Generally making sure that the SWFs are at the remote
location where you think they are supposed to be (and where the
code thinks they are supposed to be) as well as making sure that
the active content JavaScript file(s) are uploaded and are present
where the page is expecting them to be. Beyond that, for anyone to
see what is wrong with your page(s), you have to post a link to
your page(s).

CS5 - Where has Web Photo Gallery gone? I use it all the time to prepare galleries for Dreamweaver.

Having just upgraded from CS2 to CS5, I cannot find Web Photo Gallery (previously File, Automate, Web Photo Gallery).
This was very useful to prepare galleries of images sent to me by our group members in all sizes, so I could send all the gallery files straight into Dreamweaver for uploading to our website.

In CS2 they offered thumbnails of the gallery styles. Hitting Refresh Preview in CS5 requires the photos to load the gallery. Doesn't take too long, but the other was quick and simple.
