Multiple checked boxes fill in common text field

I am attempting to create a form that has various criteria that are checked off (check boxes) and need to populate a common text field within the same form. Presently with action items I am able to design the form so that when only one item is checked it shows up on in the text field at a time not multiples Any suggestions would help.

1) In the Binding tab of your checkboxes you can put the On Value to whatever you want to populate the common text field with and the Off Value blank.
2) Assuming all your check boxes names are CheckBox under the same subform use this script in the calculate event of your common text field:

Thanks for your response, now I'm finding out from the client that this is really an anonymous survey that they want to put on the site. They have been using an online survey but it keeps asking people to join by email. They are getting complaints about that so they want to find another way.
I've tried to make the form anonymous but I can't remove the email field. Can this be hidden so it doesn't show. Or is there another way to do this?
I'm not able to code javascript and there are other questions which are similar to the sample I gave which require a text field as well as check boxes.

When the insert member record is submitted and multiple check boxes are selected, the information becomes an array of text separated by commas. When the user goes back to the update form, the check boxes are not showing checked in the appropriate fields. Thanks for getting back with me. I do have two tables. One table is the "members" table where all the information for the members is stored. One of the columns is "currentClubPositions". The database has another table which is "positions" which has the list for the positions that a member of the club could serve on. Members of the club may be serving on a number of positions at once, therefore the check boxes. Also, the club is adding and deleting positions over time, so I wanted an easy way to add them and delete them without having to go into phpmyadmin to do this. I have created a form that updates the "positions" table. The check boxes that show up in the insert member record and update member record are dynamic so that when the table "positions" changes, the forms change dynamically as do the queries to sort the database change dynamicaly. When the check boxes are entered, I use the implode function to make the values an array of text separated by commas and that value is inserted in one field of the members table named "currentClubPosition". How does APEX check for null values in Text Fields on the forms? This might sound trivial but I have a problem with a PL/SQL Validation that I have written.
I have one select list (P108_CLUSTER_ID) and one Text field (P108_PRIVATE_IP). I made P108_CLUSTER_ID to return null value when nothing is selected and assumed P108_PRIVATE_IP to return null value too when nothign is entered in the text field.
All that I need is to validate if P108_PRIVATE_IP is entered when a P108_CLUSTER_ID is selected. i.e it is mandatory to enter Private IP when a cluster is seelcted and following is my Pl/SQL code

My problem is it is returning FALSE for all the cases.It works fine in SQL Command though..When I tried to Debug and use Firebug, I found that Text fields are not stored a null by default but as empty strings "" . Now I tried modifying my PL/SQL to check Private_IP against an empty string. But doesn't help. Can someone please tell me how I need to proceed.

Thanks for your response, but copying and pasting creates a link. If the user places a check mark in one of the boxes, all the rest of the boxes will have a check mark also. I will research this some more.

Can you please tell me how I can change the font that comes up when you go to fill in a text field in an interactive PDF?
Can this be set in InDesign or does it have to be done in Acrobat?

Only in Acrobat. Tools > Forms > Edit. Double-click on the text field to change its Appearance.

So, the way I see it, you actually have four scenarios. Nothing is checked, one item is checked, two items are checked, and three or more items are checked.
Here's how I did it.
I have four checkboxes all with the same name, cb. (You could have many more, and it wouldn't matter as long as they're all named the same thing.) I'm presuming that you will use the captions from the checkboxes as the text you want to enter. I called my text area where I enter the information tfSentence. (It's not a text field, it's just called "Text" in the Object Library.)

Binding a Check Box with a User Defined Field

Hi everyone,
i v created a user defined field (U_CheckPro)in the system table "OITM" with two values: Y for Yes and N for No. In relation to that i v also created a check box on the form "150" and would like to know how can i bind my checkbox with my user defined field properly.
The user would be than able to enable or disable the check box for each item (article). The user setting schould be than be active and valid in sbo-business logic, each time an item is selected. (for example in case of sales order ID 133, "OINV").
Any helfpul hints? Samples would be welcome as well.

Filling in Rich Text fields in PDF

Is it possible to fill in RichText fields in a PDF from Coldfusion? I need to have certain words bolded, etc. I created the form in liveCycle and the field in question has Rich Text selected Field and Data format. When I assign data to the field through ColdFusion, the text is always just plain text. Any ideas?

Populate a drop down list with data from Excel and fill in a text field, based on drop down selectio

I have a problem with a PDF form: There's a drop down list that I populate with Excel data that I've put in an XML file through an XSD file -- no problem here. The drop down list has a data binding to the XML file, so that a choice in the drop down list can be associated with an object in the XML file. So, when I make a choice in the drop down list, a corresponding object value is fetched from the XML file and put in a text field on the form.

There's a snag, though, and to describe it more clearly:
The XML file contains three types of objects: role, role number, and role cost center. Of these I use the first and the third, i.e. the role and the role cost center. The drop down list contains the roles, and when I select a role, the corresponding cost center is filled out in the text field. So far, so good!
But -- if the cost center has the same value for two or more roles, all of these roles "bounce back" into the drop down list, that is, they are all selected in the drop down list. How many of these you can see depend on the height of the drop down list -- if it's low you'll only see the first one.
If I modify Stefan Cameron's data in his example I get the same behavior, so the problem seems to have to do with how XML data are fetched.
I'm sure there's a workaround, but I can't find it! I've spent many hours browsing the web without finding anyone with a similar problem.

Can I change this setting in InDesign or does it have to be done in Acrobat?

It must be done in Acrobat. InDesign only allows Times Roman for some reason.
To change it in Acrobat 11, open the PDF and select: Tools > Forms > Edit
and select the field(s) you want to change, bring up the field properties dialog, and look on the Appearance tab for the font dropdown.
