Multiple Clockin/Clock entries are allowed in ESS

Dear All,
We are configuring Clock in/Clock out for our ESS.
We are able to create multiple clock in/Clock out entries through ESS, though we wanted to only one pair of entries for clock in/clock out.
Is there any way we can restrict users to enter multiple requests for same day.

We have a commission element as non-recurring. As per company policy we allow this commission on Assignment criteria and it got successfully transfer we run it previous month. But today we are doing the same activity and getting error “Multiple entries are not allowed for this entry” in two cases while batch validation. However when we enter this element manually under the assignment element entry window, it allow user to save without any restriction.
So, why system not allow it through batch window.
I am very thank full to you, pls very critical.
Pls advice.

User uploaded duplicate assignment for the same element, therefore system was not being allowed to process for that batch. we removed duplicate record and the error was removed.

Blog entries are broken with latest iWeb update

I received an update to iWeb within the past couple days, apparently related to the changes for MobileMe. Now the publish command is "Publish to MobileMe".
I published new blog entries since the program update. Now all the links to the blog entries are shown as $link$ and none of them work.
I cannot find how to send an email to Apple Support about this. The MobileMe support page shows Chat which is not active and pointers to all kinds of sources except a source that will allow me to communicate the problem directly to Apple in a simple way.
Does anyone know what is going on? This MobileMe transition is nothing but problems for me so far when I am just trying to use the same stuff in iWeb that I've been using fine for a long time.

Good news: Publish All solved the problem.
Bad news: This is clearly a case where basic testing was sorely lacking and the new service was rushed out. The solution is draconian and not really acceptable for large amounts of content.
I had thought about doing Publish All but knew it would take probably a couple hours to complete for the multiple gigabytes of content that I had. After I saw the post then I started the Publish All before I went to bed. I check in the morning and it had worked.

How to allow multiple domains under Access-Control-Allow-Origin

Multiple page data entry form

Hello,
I need to build a multiple page data entry screen for users
to enter information into the DB table. There are many fields I
need to capture and store in a table. Some of the fields are multi
line text field for the users to enter a few lines of text in a
textbox. But right now, I wasn’t sure which approach I should
take.
1. Use session variables to capture the data as the users are
completing the multiple page data entry then store all the values
at the end when the user finish entering all the data.
2. Create a temporary table in a DB to capture the data until
the user is finished then store the values in the temporary table
back to the real table.
I hope someone can provide me with some suggestions on this.

It depends on how you want to handle:
User fills out first couple of pages only. He may or may not
come back.
User fills out a couple of pages and then uses browser to go
back to page 1, which he changes and resubmits.

Field MATNR does not have a foreign key; as a result no intervals are allow

We are having ROH and FERT material , in that we were entered the wrong Item category group , we need to change the
Item category group through mass posting through MM17. we are getting below given error
"Field MATNR does not have a foreign key; as a result no intervals are allowed"
Message no. M&132
Diagnosis
You have either specified an interval such as from 1 to 10 or M* for a field, or you have left the field blank, corresponding to the interval *. However, since there is no foreign key for this field, the system cannot resolve the interval into valid single values.
Procedure
Enter only single values for this field.
We have checked the the structure MPGD_MASS in SE11, and here foreign key mark is tciked in "entry help/ check.
How to solve this error.

did you just use the change tab or did you work as well or only at the create tab?
What did you enter in the selection?
(...because I just tried a mass change without specying a material number and do not get such message)

Clock in clock corrections allows you to correct the error occured in Rptime, Please check the config in PTCOR

CAT2 multiple person data entry and worklist

Hello everybody,
For our users we have created a multiple person data entry profile and everything is working fine. hours for multiple people can now be entered in CAT2. However, our users are now stating a new request: They would like to see the worklist aswell (just like with single person hour entry).
When trying to customize the data entry profile and making the setting for showing the worklist, SAP shows the message that multiple person and worklist are mutually exclusive, so not posible.
However, the request from our users doesn't seem that strange. Would anyone of you know a way to combine the worklist with multiple person hour entry?

Can i do hardware compare using hsdio when the generation and acq clock rate are different

my application should generate a digital stream in clock rate A with bus width (number of bits) very from 1 to 4 bits
The DUT will response always on on bit but with clock rate B.
1. can i use the hardware compare mechanism of the hsdio boards.
2. if answer is YES is there any sample that can help me getting started.

Hi,
One good example to use as a starting point can be found in the NI Example Finder. Navigate to "Hardware Input and Output" >> "Modular Instruments" >> NI-HSDIO >> Dynamic Acquisition and Generation >> Hardware Compare - Error Locations.vi. You'll need to explicitly wire in your new rate into the "niHSDIO Configure Sample Clock.vi" on your response task.
There is also a portion of this code that warns if the stimulus and response waveforms are not the same size. This is not necessary, and could be deleted from the program. You are allowed to have different size stimulus and response waveforms.

Multiple selection of sales areas in BP transaction

Hi,
In the creation mode of BP for sold-to party, while selecting sales areas, the standard ALV popup does NOT allow multiple selection/maintainance of sales areas.
Is there an option for multiple maintainance of sales areas. It's time consuming to maintain sales areas for each BP manually.
Also, is there an API/method to maintain sales area data for BP?

You can use followinf function module to update sales area data:
BAPI_BUPA_FRG0020_ADD : For shipping tab
BAPI_BUPA_FRG0030_ADD : For billing tab
BAPI_BUPA_FRG0140_ADD : For organization data tab.

Sales document flow(vbfa) entries are deleted

Hi Guys,
I am facing a problem with VBFA table. Actually for some delivery i am able to get Sales order number from VBFA table but for some delivery there is no records exists in VBFA table. So just want to know is there any program or Funtion module which delete entries from VBFA table if not then is there any functional configuration which not allowed to enter data in VBFA table. In my system i searched for all the programs and function module but no luck.
I can saw the Sales document flow in VL03N but no entries in VBFA table.

But this is true for some delivery there is no entries in VBFA table but entries are exist in LIKP and LIPS. We are using userexit in sales order program for creating delivery. The Function module which creates delivery inside the USER-EXIT is : BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CREATE_SLS.

NI PCIe-6351 Count Edges Channel error on fast TTL - Multiple Sample Clock pulses were detected

Hello,
I am trying to use a PCIe-6351 to record the arrival times of a fast TTL pulse stream (generated by an Excilitas/Elmer Perkin APD). The TTL pulses are 2.5 volt amplitude, 20 ns duration, with a gauranteed dead time of 50 ns between pulses. I am trying to use the the Count Edges function, with the 100MhzTimebase as the input terminal and the input to counter 0 (PFI8) as the sample clock. After a few seconds of acquiring data at 100 Mhz, the application throws the following error (-201314):
"Multiple Sample Clock pulses were detected within one period of the input signal"
I had thought that because there is 50 ns dead time between pulses, multiple pulses would never arrive within a single clock cycle of the 100 Mhz timebase. Is there any way this might not be the case? Alternatively, is it possible that the counter is triggering on some jitter around the edges of the pulses? If so, is there any way to filter such high frequencies without losing the 20 ns pulses?
I have read through the forums for similar problems with photon detectors, but have not been able to resolve this issue. Thank you for the help.

It sounds like the input signal is being detected as multiple edges.
The PFI filtering feature on the X Series card likely isn't going to be suitable for you. The minimum setting is actually exactly 20 ns, which should in theory guarantee a 20 ns pulse passing through. However, if the signal is high for anything less than that there wouldn't be a guarantee (depending on the phase of the timebase relative to the rising edge of the signal)--considering rise times and that there is evidently a glitch in the signal itself, it probably isn't actually a continuous 20 ns high time by the time the DAQ card sees it.
What you should do instead:
Configure a second counter as a retriggerable counter output (single pulse).
Use your external signal as the start trigger for this counter output task.
Set the initial delay, high time, and low time for the counter output task all to 20 ns (the minimum).
Use the internal output of the counter output task as the sample clock source for the original edge count task.
The counter output will be triggered when it sees the external signal, wait 10-20 ns, then generate a 20 ns pulse. If there is a glitch on the trigger line during this 30-40 ns that the output is generating, it will be ignored. The counter output will be re-armed in time for the next pulse given the minimum dead time of 50 ns between pulses.

Can Windows Server Backup spread a single backup job across multiple disks if they are not set up as a virtual disk?

This may be a dumb question, but I can't seem to find any definitive information after having done many, many searches. Short question is - can Windows Server Backup spread a single backup job across multiple disks if they are not in a storage
pool or some other RAID/JBOD structure?
Background:
I'm running Server 2012 Essentials with all Windows Updates installed. I have been backing up approx 2.8TB of data (Bare Metal Recovery, C:, S: (shared folders), and system reserved) for the past year+ onto a storage pool made up of two-2TB external
USB drives. Backup is slow (takes approx 1.5 days to complete), but generally works. Not surprisingly I was constantly getting capacity low messages so I decided to increase my backup storage pool by adding a 3TB drive and another spare 750GB drive
for a total of 7.75TB. Instead of having four separate external USB enclosures, I bot a 4-bay enclosure - Startech.com model #S3540BU33E to simplify this (or so I thought!).
The first problem I had was adding the two new drives to the existing storage pool. I think that is because the Startech uses a JMicron USB controller that reports identical uniqueid's for all drives so only one shows up in the GUI interface for creating storage
pools. After doing research on this, I set up a new storage pool and virtual disk using all four drives via Powershell and thought I was good. However, when the backup ran, it failed after filling the first drive, saying there was no remaining capacity. In
reality there were three remaining empty drives and there storage pool reported almost 5TB of avail capacity. I assumed this was due to the identical uniqueid issue so I decided to try a different tactic.
Instead of using a storage pool that combines all four disks into one virtual disk, I just added each of them to Windows Server Backup as individual drives thinking it would manage them collectively. I.e., when a drive filled up during a particular backup,
it would just start using the next drive and so on. Apparently this was a foolish assumption because the backup failed again as soon as the first disk filled up.
So now I don't know if this is still an issue with the identical uniqueid's or if Server Backup actually can't spread a single backup across multiple individual drives that aren't in a pool or other virtual disk implementation. Hence, my original question.
My guess is that it does *not* spread them across individual disks, but I just wanted to get confirmation.

Thank you for following up on my question.
Unfortunately the article you referenced doesn't address what I am trying to accomplish.
The article focuses on saving the same backup job to multiple disks and rotating the disks between on and offsite for enhanced protection. However, it still requires that an individual backup job fits on a single disk.
What I am trying to determine is if a single backup job can span across more than one physical disk (during the backup process) without those physical disks being in some type of virtual disk implementation (e.g., storage pool, RAID, etc.).
