Multiple columns in operator

Question

When I submit a query like this:
select *
from tab1
where (column1, column2) in
((va111, val21),(val12, val22),(val13,val23)....)
It only returns the records matches column1=val11 and column2=val21.
How to change this query to get all values?

I can't reproduce the problem Below is what I tried. What are you doing different? Post a complete script that has the problem.
