    This is likely do to new Phishing or Popup rules in IE9. Most web based controller management utility's do not show up as a valid website since they use local host or internal IP addresses. I know Areca has in the past used Java for their utility which also trips many of those rules. Try adding the web utility as a trusted website.

  • Windows reports that the "USB-IF xHCI USB Host Controller" device is not working properly.

    I have been receiving the following error and instructions to fix it for a long time now, prior to updating to Windows 8.1:
    A device is not working properly
    Windows reports that the "USB-IF xHCI USB Host Controller" device is not working properly.
     Recommended solution to the problemUse Windows Update to check whether new device drivers are available. Proceed as follows:
    Open Device Manager
    Search in the device manager for the device whose driver you would like to update and double-click on the device name. You may first have to enable the "Show hidden devices" entry in the "View" menu.
    Switch to the Driver tab, click Update driver and follow the instructions
    When I follow the instructions and try to update the driver, I am told "The best driver software for your device is already installed."
    How do I update the driver to stop receiving the error?

    Camera connect not working with my Sony boggie camera

    The Bloggie will not work because it draws too much power from the USB port on the iPad.  The solution is to interpose a powered USB hub between the Bloggie and the iPad - connect the Bloggie to the powered hub, then connect the hub to the ipad accessory.  Works fine with my 3D Bloggie.

  • Help - Multiple native extensions do not work

    Dear Adobe Air developer community and Adobe employees,
    My game dev. studio www.GoldSunGames.com is nearing completion on our biggest title developed with Adobe Air for iOS. During development we've hit countless  technical bumps in the road including issues with low memory, low performance and many others I can happily say have now been solved in big part to the help we've received from the Adobe Flash/Air community. Thanks!
    I am now reaching out to the community and any Adobe employees reading this to solve our last remaining major issue/bug with Adobe Air which is holding us back from releasing our title.
    Multiple native extensions do not work
    We can get any one single native extension to work including Game Center (with the help of MilkManGames). But multiple extensions together simply do not work. We are required by our publisher to have other iOS features included which require the use of multiple native extensions.
    A detailed break down of the programming process we are using can be found here:

    Hi All,
    i have create a measuer please see below code,

    and [DimProduct].[Portfolio].CURRENTMEMBER.MEMBERVALUE="Seed"  )
    then "1and3"
    end
    when i compare multiple attribute it is not working.

    Hi manishcal16PPS,
    According to your description, your calculated measure is not working when two when statement together. Right?
    In this scenario, since the conditions in your case when statement are exclusive, you should use OR instead of AND operator.
    when  ([DimProduct].[Portfolio].CURRENTMEMBER.MEMBERVALUE="Fungicide"
    OR
    [DimProduct].[Portfolio].CURRENTMEMBER.MEMBERVALUE="Seed"  )
    then "1and3"

  • X-Fi Titanium PCI Express front pannel connection not working

    <font face="verdana,geneva" size="3">I can not get any signal to or from the front pannel connector of my X-Fi Titanium PCI Express. (The rear jacks are working fine.)
    <font face="verdana,geneva" size="3">The front header cable from my Antec P-80B worked perfectly with my onboard motherboard sound. Now that I have it connected to my X-Fi I get nothing from the jacks on the front of my case. (The onboard sound is disabled in my BIOS.)? I've double and tripple checked the connection and it is properly keyed and fitted. Is there a step or a setting that I'm missing somewhere to get this working? Can anyone confirm that the front pannel connection is acti've on the X-Fi Titanium PCI Express?

    Re: X-Fi Titanium PCI Express front pannel connection not working? I was truly hoping that would help and I wanted to give you some additional hope. I have a coolermaster case, and it has the AC97 jack on the inside with all my other other front panel connectors for hard dri've activity light, reset, and power on. Three inches down from the AC97 jack, the INTEL HD *which works beautifully with the X-FI, only differs by three wires in different locations and the two pinouts configurations match those of the INTEL site identically.
    Please tell me what happens as I would like to post a step by step guide for the others here in the forum. You will know when you have successfully adapted the connector because in VISTA and Windows 7, your sound applet in control panel will have a display of the connectors "lit up" when they are successfully connected. Mine shows FP microphone in the applet when its plugged in, and grayed out when its not. Its great for telling if I am connected on the rear of the soundcard of the front.
    Best of luck and .......

  • Spotify Connect not working anymore / "Unknown" method of payment

    Hey everybody, I have a problem with Spotify Connect and also my account billing. I hope this is the right section to ask since my problem is cross-platform. First of all these are the devices I use to access the Spotify services:Desktop PC running Windows 8.1 ProNexus 6 running Android 5.1Galaxy S3 running Android 4.4.4(all on the latest official version of Spotify)I have a Spotify Premium Abonnement. So far so good. My major problem is that Spotify Connect isn’t working anymore for me. This problem persists since approximately mid-October 2014 (yeah I was too lazy to post before) after I came back from a trip to Ireland.It used to work all fine before and I could control my desktop client from my phone, but now nothing. The PC doesn’t show up on the phone and the phone doesn’t show up in the desktop client. To clear things up, since the problem exists I have tried a few things to get it working:Uninstalled/reinstalled the app on the phone(s)Uninstalled/reinstalled the windows application (also tried the beta back then which is now the stable release)Further I checked the following:I am definitely on the same WI-FI network (I could also still see my phone on the Devices tab before that feature was removed)I was Premium all the way, not a short period as free user that could have potentially broken the Connect featureAnd yes I’m logged in with the same account on all devicesA (good) side-effect that I think is related to the issue:I can stream (literally stream, not using the offline feature) different tracks on multiple devices at the same time without getting the “Your account is used on another device message” like it used to be before Connect stopped working for me. I shouldn't be able to do this right? Although useful I rather have Spotify Connect backMy (maybe stupid) speculations as to why the problem exists:When I created the account back in 2013 I couldn’t log in for a long time because of system internal conflicts because of the hash at the beginning of my Spotify user name “#moritz”. I contacted the support by e-mail and like after a quarter of the year I could finally log in with my new account. Maybe the hash still causes some problems?Another theory I have or better a curiosity I noticed was, while I was in Ireland my streaming stopped because of somebody else using my account, which is absolutely impossible because the only other device I used back then was my PC which was at home – alone. And of course I never gave anyone else my log-in data. Actually quite a few odd things happened using Spotify on my Ireland trip…My second problem is rather minor and doesn’t affect me negatively. Since I subscribed to Premium back in April 2014 only my first two receipts showed my Credit Card as “Visa”. Since then it says “Unknown” as method of payment. It continued to work and charges my credit card monthly but I still find it a bit strange. I have never changed anything related to my subscription or method of payment. Any ideas why this is? I really hope my first problem can be solved somehow as I’m planning to buy Hi-Fi gear that has Spotify Connect built-in and I really want to be able to control it with my phone.With kind regards,Moritz

    thanks for writing back and trying to help :) By now i already got in contact with the Spotify support team and they said they'd be looking into this. hopefully it will be sorted out soon.

  • Excite PRO 3G connection not work after Android v4.3 update

    Hello,
    I live in Italy and on last Sunday (january 26th) my Excite PRO tablet (model AT10LE-A-10H) got the Android version 4.3.201121220.35.
    After restart my wifi works fine, all other app work fine, but my 3g connection doesn't work, mobile network bar is empty and it says "no service".
    My sim card is ok. I used this sim card before the system update and I didn't get any problem with Android 4.2.2.
    Please help me.
    Thank you

    >After restart my wifi works fine, all other app work fine, but my 3g connection doesn't work, mobile network bar is empty and it says "no service".
    Go to the mobile network settings and search again for the 3G network.
    I had similar problem with my Android Smartphone and my o2 provider
    I started new search, then I chosen the O2 again and then I could solve the problem.
    In case this does not work for you, recommend you to reset the tablet back to default (factory settings)

  • Iphone 6 plus wifi connection not working

    I don't know what the deal is but, I'm getting notifications of emails, and messages but when I go to the app I have nothing there. The problem has expanded and now apps aren't connecting to any wifi. I thought it might have been 3rd party apps, but now even the app store cannot connect. I've tried my home wifi, and my work wifi. Using my data plan, I have no problems connecting to anything. I'm thinking this is an IOS8 issue that needs a patch. If somebody has any other suggestions, I'm all ears!

    Nore wrote:
    I have always used the iPhone's LED flashing alert to notify me when I get a call or text message. While I was on iOS 8 Beta 2-4 it was working fine. I did a clean install of the complete iOS 8 release and ever since then, the flash alert doesn't work.
    Sometimes it will work on incoming calls, but will not work on text messages. I've tried soft/hard rebooting, clean wipe and fresh installs, and pretty much anything in between. Now, today I got my 128GB Gold ATT iPhone 6 Plus, and it's the same thing. Updated to iOS 8.1, reset everything/deleted all contents and settings. Both fresh install, and iCloud backups and still no alerts on text messages, but now I get them on calls. I tried my girls ATT 128GB iPhone 6 and she has the same problem too. My old phone was a 64GB iPhone 5S and hers was a 32GB iPhone 5. Everything was good until the official release of iOS 8.
    I've tried searching for related issues, and haven't found anything since 2011 with a quick Google search. Most links just tell you how to turn the flash alert on but no new issues. All of my devices are on iOS 8.1.  I gave my father my 64GB 5S with a clean install and he still has the issue as well. So, that makes my iPhone 6 Plus, my girls iPhone 6 and my fathers iPhone 5S not flashing LED on messages and sometimes calls. There aren't any custom vibrations enabled on any if the devices. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is it a known bug or am I just not doing something right here? i never had an issue before the iOS 8 release. Any help would be appreciated.

  • Wireless connection not working after installed newest Lenovo ThinkVantage System Update programs

    Hi, everyone!
    I've installed some newest programs through Lenovo ThinkVantage System Update and just after that my wireless connection has stopped working. Here are the installed programs:
    ThinkPad UltraNav Driver for Windows 32-bit version 15.0.24.0;
    ThinkPad Power Management Driver version 1.60;
    ThinkPad Modem Adapter version 7.80.8.0;
    ThinkPad Hotkey Features Integration Package Setup version 3.11.0001;
    Inter Wireless WiFi Link for Window XP version 13.02.0000;
    ThinkVantage Access Connections for Windows XP version 5.62;
    ThinkPad Power Manager version 1.88;
    Lenovo ThinkVantage Toolbox (32-bit) version 6.0.5514.61.
    I've got a Lenovo T61 with Windows XP SP3.
    Also in Device Manager, there are now the two "Other devices" bellow with a yellow question point and a yellow exclamation point by side:
    Bluetooth Hands-free Audio;
    Bluetooth LAN Access Server Driver.
    Does anyone have any idea what can be done to have these issues solved?
    P.S.: when I click Fn+F5 it shows only the Bluetooth Radio.

    Hello and welcome,
    I've seen something like this on XP machines after updates a couple of times now - my T61, a friend's T400, and his daughter's T61.  I guess that makes 3
    _Maybe_  your situation is the same.
    The fix in all 3 cases was to go to device manager and uninstall the wifi driver.  Then scan for hardware changes and let it reinstall the driver.  Something about how Access Connections or some other networking mangement thingy was hooking the drivers I guess.
    On both of the friend's machines, the wired networking was also b0rked.  Same fix there.

  • Corporate connectivity not working for some users

    Hi,
    I'm having an issue that started about a month ago but is getting worse.  A select group of users are no longer able to connect using DirectAccess, even though these users have been using their computers for a few months without issue.
    BACKGROUND:
    -Windows 2008 R2 DirectAccess server
    -Windows 7 x64 enterprise clients
    -Most clients experiencing the issue have a newer laptop (Lenovo T440 with Intel 7260AC wireless), but the issue is not limited to this model. Also, I have 25+ other Lenovo T440 units that connect without issue to this day.
    TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS:
    I have tried disabling the various interfaces used for directaccess on these problem machines and have not been able to narrow it down.  Essentially- I've noticed the IP-HTTPS interface shows deactivated, so I'll disable Teredo.  This
    usually allows the IP-HTTPS to show activated, and connectivity is restored.  However, after 30 seconds to a few minutes, connectivity will once again drop.  So I'll re-enable teredo (default,client, or enterprise client) and connectivity will kick
    on for another brief period, but drops again shortly after.
    I have confirmed that during these short periods of connectivity working, the wf.msc shows connectivity using NTLM and Kerberos, but the clients just can't seem to stay connected on any interface.
    However, in the wf.msc when the clients are not functioning, I only ever see one NTLM entry.

    LOGS:
    Below is a directaccess client log pulled from a non-functioning client before making any changes or any testing.  Feel free to ask for the rest of the log if needed-- I have put in place holders for information that may be sensitive.  Thank you!!
    RED: Corporate connectivity is not working.
    Windows is unable to relocationve corporate network names. Please contact your administrator if this problem persists.

    Hi,
    When you try to start the Remote Destop Connection, what errors it showed out?
    Could the other PCs connect this PC with the RDC?
    So you have read this blog?
    RDP connections might fail due to a problem with KB2621440 - MS12-020
    Did you reinstalled the KB2621440?
    Besides, did you follow this guide to enable the RDC connection?
    Connect to another computer using Remote Desktop Connection
    And also this guide?
    Why can’t I connect using Remote Desktop Connection?
    Please take a check with those settings again.
    Best regards
    Michael Shao

    why not sort by (name, date, etc) and Click on 1st and Shift-Click on last.
    Might work better to copy or import to a project folder.

  • Remote Desktop Connection not working

    I am able to remote desktop connect to my home computer from work; however, I can't remote desktop connect to my work comptuer and server. I believed it has something to do with my Linksys E3000 access point settings but I'm not sure where to look for and verify. I took my home laptop to work and able to do remote desktop connect to the server. I also took a laptop that's working fine with remote desktop connect to the server home and tried to remote desktop connect to the server at work and it's not working. Therefore, I've concluded that it has something to do with the access point and not the settings in the computer because it works fine when I took it out of my home network. I also VPNP in to my work place so that it has the same IP address as at work and still, remote desktop connection from home to work is not working. Any suggestion is much appreciated.

    Connecting from home to your remote desktop server has nothing to do with your router. Certain ports are needed to be opened from the server’s end in order to host an application. Try to connect your computer to your modem or to another wireless network just to check if your work’s remote desktop will work. In case it will not work, then contact your IT guy.
    If you read my previous post it said:

    I think my above statement answers your question of "Try to connect your computer to your modem or to another wireless network just to check if your work’s remote desktop will work." However, your statement prompts me think of something else. What I have tried is bring my laptop to work and tried connect via RDC to the server and it works but it just not working when trying at home. What I have not done is instead of brining my laptop to work and try RDC there, perhaps I should I try it on a friend's or relative's network and see if I can do RDC to my server at work. If this does not work as well, then, could it be that at work there is something something outside RDC coming? But even if this is so, why can't VPN work?
