Multiple Copy Commands

Apologies if this has been answered. I've done multiple searches and haven't found what I need.
As is quite common, I work on a Windows laptop at work and have a MacBook Pro at home. Of course we all know about Windows using the Control key as the modifier for copy/cut/paste whereas the Mac uses Command. This is the only key combination that I frequently use that gives me trouble.
What I want to do is to be able to use EITHER Control+C/X/V OR Command+C/X/V to cut, copy, and paste. I want to be able to use the Windows combination when I'm not thinking Mac, and the Mac combination when I am. So remapping the Command key to the Control key won't do it. Neither will something that changes just the Copy/Cut/Paste commands.
Is there something that will intercept specific key combinations and generate alternative combinations? Or something that will allow multiple shortcuts for a single command?
A related question is whether Control-C/X/V is used for anything in Mac OS or other common Apps. Just so I know if I'm losing anything important.

The problem is that I want both to work. In other words I want two shortcuts for the same command. I did try changing the shortcut in the Keyboard Pref panel, but that completely changes the command.
I would like to get used to the accepted Mac shortcut usage and often I do. I guess it depends where my fingers are, how long I've been st the Mac versus the PC, how tired I am, and the situation.
What prompted me to want a solution that allowed both was the other day when I got a message from the browser that I was timed out. This after typing a long response. Without thinking, I used Control-C, the window changed, and I lost my response. That's what I want to avoid.

Hi, is it possible to execute multiple DOS commands from a java program?
e.g. copy file1 file2
program.exe
copy file2 file1
But the second copy-command may only be executed after the program.exe has finished. Please help me out on this.

And how would I enter the multiple commands? Cause now I use the Runtime.exec() function 3 times but then it also opens 3 DOS-boxes. And that's what I wanna avoid.

Explorer crashes when giving the cut/copy command

When i select multiple files the computer is ok but when i give the cut or copy command de computer freezes and then explorer crashes. after a while it restores but whith many taskbar programs closed and the folder i was browsing at the moment closed...
In many other forums i find that this problem happens to more persons...

IBooks downloading multiples copy bug?

NEED HELP! Using the new iPad and when I open my library it was trying to download a book I'd previously purchased,read, and deleted. I tried to delete it before it fully downloaded but it would not allow it. Then, like the cascading windows error on PC's, more and more copies of this book appear in my library and it's growing exponentially (like the cascading windows tile analogy). It never fully downloads the book and will not allow me to delete. Now I've got 24 copies of Personal Foul trying to download and every time I close the program and reopen it has added more.
Can you help!?!?
-I'm running the most recent iOS and iBooks versions (5.1.1 and 2.1.1 respectively)
-The book that is attempting multiple copy downloads is a book I purchased a year ago on my first gen iPad. Upon upgrading to the 3rd gen iPad I did not sync that particular book and have set auto sync to the "off" position-- so it should not be attempting to download that book in the first place
-I've attempted to restart my iPad
-I've exited the application several times
-I've gone to the "purchased" section in the store and it does not show this book as "Installed".
-I have attempted to select and delete each copy but it will not delete once I've entered the command

I just had the same problem too. I have an iPad 2 and when I first downloaded three books that I had on my iPad before the last update it worked fine, but then I wanted to update the cover art, so I updated it in iTunes and just dragged them back to my iPad without removing them first. This is what I think did it. After that there were about 10 copies at least of each book, at first they all had progress in their little bars but after a while they just became empty and sat there like that. I tried restarting my iPad but that didn't work. I don't have my iTunes library synced because I used to use another computer for it, so I didn't want to check sync and have everything be deleted. Instead I went to iTunes and went to the "on this iPad" tab and selected the books that were being copied. Then I deleted them and when I did at least 7 of each of the copies disappeared. So then I navigated away from that library in iBooks and went to my purchased books. I renown loaded a completely different previous book...mo copies so when I returned to my original library the rest of the copies disappeared too. Miracle! So after that I just went back to iTunes and put the three books back on my iPad and now they work fine and still have all the notes I previously put in them. Hope this works for you too!

Copy Command in ABAP report

HI Gurus,
I have a ABAP report - basic list, with lot of batch data on it. based on the report they will copy the batch numbers and paste in standard transactions.
Users complaining to do a Ctrl + Y and then Ctrl + C then Ctrl + V to paste the batch numbers.
Is there anything we can do programatically using hot sopt on batch numbers so we get the selected BATCH and execute copy command programatically when they click on BATCH number on basic list.
All they need to do is Ctrl + V on standard transactions.
Is there anyway to achieve this?

In any event why don't you just do a CALL TRANSACTION when the user double clicks on a line?

How can I send multiple string commands into a VISA write?

I am very new to LabVIEW (2.5 months) so please forgive me if my lingo is not up to par.
How can I send multiple string commands to a VISA write. For example each string command looks like this
1) 3A00 0000 0000 FFFF FFFF FFFF 0000 0000 FF00 0000 0000 0000 0000 0033 (Scenario 1)
2) 3A01 0000 0000 FFFF FFFF FFFF 0000 0000 FF00 0000 0000 0000 0000 0034 (Scenario 2)
3) 3A01 0000 0000 33FF FFFF FFFF 0000 0000 FF00 0000 0000 0000 0000 0067 (Scenario 3).
and so on and so forth. And there are a number of scenarios.
Each String scenario will give a different string output which will be interpreted differently in the front panel.
Right now I have to manually change the string commands on the front panel to give me the desired output. How can I do this without manually changing the commands i.e. hard coding each scenario into the block diagram?

Copy command not working for Search Results

In the custom Layout Set, we've made our own UI command group to include the following commands: Search_from_here, details, copy, move etc
The problem is that whenever we click on the 'Copy' or 'Move' command of a resource, we get the following error message:

The error message in the KM log files simply states "ERROR: RID not found".
Would anyone know how to fix this issue! I've tried many layout sets, but the copy command always gives me the same error message!
Any help or suggestions on this would be much appreciated...

Copy Command in Pl/Sql block

Can I use Copy command in Pl/Sql.For example :-

Its not running properly giving an error as invalid Sql statement .
Is it bcoz Copy command cannot be used in a Pl/Sql Block.

Is there any other way to move the Table & data to another Data Base .Database link is the obvious one. And the SQL statement would look something like this (on the target database):
SQL> create table FOO nologging as select * from FOO@sourcedb;
However, the first question I always ask if why? What one may think is the solution to a problem is not always the best solution. So one need to identify the problem first, and then see what solutions there are and which one is the best fit.
Other options are replication (using materialised views for example), Data Pump (available with 10G) - even could be Data Guard, a standby database, or a Real Application Cluster... depending on just what the problem and actual requirements are.
Also important to note that SQL*Plus has its own set of commands. Do not confuse these commands (like EXEC, COPY, CONNECT, HOST etc) with the SQL and PL/SQL Languages. Not only are they executed by different software products, SQL*Plus commands are executed on the client and SQL (and PL/SQL) runs inside the Oracle database instance.

Copy command in Sqlplus

I am using 8.1.6 and 8.1.7, but the copy command does not seem to work on either cases, the sqlplus just crash, did you guys have the similar problem? Is it a bug in oracle or there is some parameter I need to set up correctly?

Copy command in OEM

Hi all,
I have a "copy" command in batch file, I scheduled this batch file from OEM, it gave me an error that "Access Denied", I know that "copy" command won't work in this way after I did some research.
Anyone have this problem before? if so how you make it work?
or anyone know how to fix this?

You may have run into bug 1504702. As a workaround you will need to use command line, as you've already figured out. I don't think a patch is available for Windows yet, although there is for Solaris (in the 8.1.7.4 patch set).

What is the Copy Command in SQL ?

COPY Command is used to COPY database table from one Schema to another Schema.

COPY command in SQL*Plus 8.1.6 returns ORA-65535

The COPY command in the windows version of SqlPlus (SQLPLUSW) does not work any more. I get the following error
<< Array fetch/bind size is 5. (arraysize is 5)
Will commit after every array bind. (copycommit is 1)
Maximum long size is 80. (long is 80)
ERROR:
ORA-65535: Message 65535 not found; product=RDBMS; facility=ORA >>
Interestingly, I can run the same COPY command successfully if I use SQLPLUS.exe ( the command line version ). No error & it completes the copy.
I recently changed my Oracle client from 7.3 to v8.1.6.
I had not encountered this problem with the same command in v7.3.

I want to copy a file from one server to my production server. i found that through host copy command its is possiable in command prompt.but when i configure host copy command inside em console it is not working. i am getting following error

Now, as for your original question, there is not "host copy" command. Not in sqlpus, not in em.
What you are doing in sqlplus is the sqlplus command "host". That is a sqlplus command, documented in the SQLPlus Reference. The sqlplus command "host" takes an argument of an os command (in your case, the OS command is "copy") and creates a sub-process to ask the os to execute that command.
I can't even imagine what you are referring to when you say "when i configure host copy command inside em console". Can you explain in more detail?

Hence if playing around with drivers on this system I would use glxgears to check that 3D acceleration is working but not to benchmark. Glxinfo does not give you all this evidence.
But to clarify, I wouldn't use glxgears as a benchmark, benchmarking is different and I do a lot of that too.
