Multiple Corner Types (Miter, bevel, round) in one path

I'd like to be able to have multiple types of corners within one path.
I'd like to have a path where the first point is a bevel corner type, the second point is a miter corner and the third is a bevel again. Of course switching between any corner type within a path would be ideal.
is there a way to achieve this within one path, or do I need to expand the path and 'fake' it every time.
Example:
The image above shoes a path with the 'Miter' corner type applied. I would like, without making two paths, for the top two points to be beveled while the bottom point remains mitered, like so: (faked)
Please let me know if this makes absolutely no sense
Thanks!
Pete

  • What's the proper workflow to combine multiple video types and turn them into one high quality DVD?

I'm trying to combine 1080i (29.97fps), 1080p (29.97fps), and 720p (24fps) video files into a single Premiere Pro project, and end up with a high quality DVD.
There are a few problems I can't solve:
    1. There seems to be interlacing and clarity issues any time I export it to DVD dimensions (720x480), and on some TVs I'll get a bouncing motion on the 720p footage (slideshow). Yet everything seems to look perfect when I export it something like an HD MOV file.
    2. If I use Final Cut X to make the DVD, I'll get audio popping and decent image quality. Yet if I use Encore, I'll get horrible interlacing, but good audio.
I don't have any training in video workflow let alone how to properly diagnose and solve problems that arise. So I need someone to lay out the proper workflow and settings from start to finish to get these three different types of footage to look great on a DVD using Premiere/Encore.
I've attached sample images showing the types of footage I'm using and the kind of problems I'm running into for reference.

By far the best way to get the quality of encoding is to use Compressor and not DVDSP. You can set Compressor up to do the AC3 (which DVDSP can't do). Alternatively, use a better encoder than Compressor, such as BitVice or MegaPEG.X... but remember that these do not do AC3 encoding.
Keep the encoded assets all in a single folder on your mac, then drag that folder into the DVDSP 'Assets' tab. This will import them all and keep them in the folder, which is a neater way of doing things. Select all of the clips within the folder (or simply select the folder itself) and drag them on to the track - they will go on in alphabetic or numeric order (whichever you have used as your names). If using numbers, remember to use '01', '02', etc otherwise clip ten, eleven, twelve and so on will follow clip one... clip two will come after clip 19.
Drop them all on a single track. You can then point a menu button at the track and all of the clips will play one after the other. If you want black in between then you will be better adding this in a NLE such as Final Cut, then exporting the entire sequence of clips as a single file. Alternatively, create a black .pict file the correct dimensions for the video format you are using and manually add it in between each clip on the timeline. Or, create a series of black .pict files and name them 011, 021, 031 and so on. Place them in your folder of clips with the MPEGs named 01, 02 and so on. When you select all and drop it onto your timeline within DVDSP a black clip will go in between each piece of footage (sequence will be 01, 011, 02, 021, 03, 031 ). This is probably the quickest way to do it. You can reuse the same black .pict files for every project like this and as long as you follow the same naming convention it will always work.
Like anything you want to automate, the first couple of times take longer to set up. After that it is a lot easier.

  • BPEL Process with multiple file types using one FTP adapter is not working

i created a bpel process which will fetch the files from remote location using FTP adapter.
Now the process works for only one format or file type like *.xls.
How can i use more than one file format in one FTP adapter.
    OR
is there any other way to do it.
file type assignation is 5th step in FTP adapter configuration.
i have tried *.xls,*.csv and *.xls;*.csv and *.xls:*.csv by seperating with comman, colon, space... still not working.
i read the documentation *.* will not work.. for one file format it's working fine.
looking forward for reply as soon as possible.

Are you positive that it is not working? I'm not sure how you can use one FTP adapter for multiple file types unless the underlying data is exactly the same format or you are processing it as opaque data. Sometimes when a FTP adapter chokes on a file with a bad structure it doesn't create a BPEL instance, it simply moves the bad file to a separate folder.
So I assume you are using opaque as the data type instead of using an XSD element?
That said, I don't think you can put two separate file types in the filter. Is it possible for you to do something like: CommonFileName*.* or do you have similar files with other extensions?
I know the above probably isn't of much help, but I had so many problems with the FTP adapter and its lack of features that I am writing my own. Unfortunately that is a large undertaking and there isn't any good documentation of JCA resource adapter / BPEL PM integration.

  • Multiple Activity Types with one Production Cost Centers

    Dear Experts,
I have One Cost Center 2 Activity typesu2026I can plan in kp06 in single shot thatu2026
    1Ctr-1ActvtyRs.100 and 1Ctr-2Actvty----Rs.200u2026.(Same Cost Elements)
Here my confusion is while doing actual posting we can post cost element to Cost Center i.e.Rs.300 to 1Ctr.
Here how I can map that 100 belongs to 1Activity and Rs.200 belongs to 2Activity because there is only cost center.
I know that solution is simple we can maintain separate cost center for both activity types i.e 1 to 1 mapping of cost center to Activityu2026So Actual posting weu2019ll be fineu2026.
Then what is use of Kp26 to maintain 1 cost center to multiple activity types?

    Regards,

    Hi Balaji
You have pointed out a valid concern.. There is a solution to it as well, however, very cumbersome and less practical
In OKKP - You allow some control indicators i.e. CCA, IO, PCA, COPA, etc.. Here, you need to allow Activity Type as Addiitional Account Assignment Object.... (This is below Cost Center Accounting)
While booking expenses from FI, you can specify the Act TYpe along with the cost center... Provided you have that much patience and it is identifiable....
Also, you can assign act type in Asset MAster so that while posting depreciation in AFAB, the same gets assigned to Act Type

  • Multiple tc types on one scxi 1102

Does anybody know if you can use two different thermocouple types on one SCXI-1102 module?
I need to measure both Type K and Type T thermocouples.  I am using a SCXI 1303 connector block and plan to use the internal CJC.
    Thanks in advance
    doloop

    Hello doloop,
You can indeed configure a task to have to two different types of
thermocouples, and acquire from multiple thermocouple types in one
DAQmx Task.  For each channel, the NI-DAQmx driver will apply
different conversion coefficients to convert voltage measurements from
different thermocouple types into temperature measurements.  You
can configure this easily in Measurement & Automation Explorer
(MAX), by creating a DAQmx Task of the thermocouple type, and adding
multiple physical channels from the SCXI 1102 module to the channel
list.  For each channel in the scan list, under the settings tab,
you will have the option to select what type of thermocouple to
associate with each channel, along with CJC settings.  You can
also do this programmatically in LabVIEW using the DAQmx Create Channel
VI.  I've attached a shot of a block diagram that shows how to
    program this.
    I hope this helps!

  • One Output with multiple communication types

    Hello,
My requirement is to print the document as well as send an email to the customers from the same output.  Basically One output with multiple communication types ( PRINT  & EMAIL).  How to configure this in the output type configuration area? Please reply. Thanks

This should be possible with the same output type,
have the output type defined with multiple medium in NACE under processing routines. (say print out in one line & external send in another).
have the condition record maintained appropriately for different customers with different medium.
Note: if your access has customer, dont think you can maintain both 1 & 5 for the same access.
if this functionality is required, i think you can acheive this by maintaining the output under different access, but this will not ensure the same condition type flowing into the document unless the earlier condition type goes to processed status.
    Thanks & Regards

  • One STO Type with multiple Delivery Types

    Hi,
We have a requirement in our company, In the STO line item level we have Shipping Tab in that we will get the delivery type based on the configuration u201CAssign Delivery Type and Checking Ruleu201D here we assign in the combination of STO document type and supplying site and delivery type,
Our client requirement is that can we assign multiple delivery type's for the same STO document type and supplying site, if yes on what bases we need to differentiate the same.
This is because we need the different functionality I.e. for one type deliveries we need the packing mandatory and other type of deliveries we have not require the packing functionality.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Murali.M

    Hi,
i don't think it's possilbe to have more then one delivery type per sto.
Check if you have the possiblity to set up an dependent layout. E.g. if Material A is a FERT then do packing, if HALB not, etc.
    regards, Paul.

  • Custom components that accept multiple data types

The components that come with Flex, such as Datagrid, can
    accept
multiple data types as a data source. For instance, you can
    bind a
Datagrid to XML return from an HTTPService request or you can
    build an
array and bind to that. I'd like to build my own component
    that does
something similar, but I can't find any examples of this. I
    don't
really even know what terms I'd search under to find it.
Can anyone out there give me any idea of how this is done?
    Also, I'm a
bit hazy on how the column definitions you set up in the MXML
    tag get
received inside the class. I'd appreciate any insight on how
    this
    works.
    Thanks;

OK, I have looked at the source file, and it looks like the
[DefaultProperty] metatdata tag is at least not used in the

  • Ipad 4: how do I attach multiple file types to an email?

    Hello,
I have seen multiple threads on this topic saying you can only do attachments in an email (other than photos or videos) by going to the app that holds the file and emailing it from there (ex: go to adobe reader or ibooks to email a PDF). This work around seemed sufficient for some people but I have need to attach a JPG, PDF and .doc to a single email. How do I do this within the ipad's built in email app? Is this impossible and if so are there other free email apps that someone can reccmmend?
I find the ability to only email files from within its parent app to be cumbersome and not in keeping with Apple's style of making one's life easier and more efficient. In fact this seems woefully backward and goes back to the early days of computing. I get it that emailing from within a particular app is necessary but so is the ability to attach multiple file types from within the email app. :-(
    So frustrated!!

The GoodReader App can manage files and create emails consisting of multiple files types.

  • MIGO Goods Receipt multiple Movement Types?

    Hi,
Is it possible with MIGO Goods Receipt using Inbound Deliveries to have multiple movement types? the reason I ask is I am getting the following error 'BORGR622 Movement Type XXX not allowed; only 101 is allowed' when trying to receipt a Line no. with different Movement Type to the earlier lines.
We do have the same problem if we receipt in MIGO Goods Receipt directly to the Purchase Order, we can happily post a document which has the normal '101' movement type and another Custom movement type.
The reason for the requirement is to do with Account Determination, we have free bonus goods lines which are zero price on the purchase order - the price difference gets posted to a bonus stock account instead of the usual price difference account, by using a Custom Movement Type - the bonus stock agreement (kind of like BOGOFs Buy One get one free) is passed to the Customer with similar account determination updating the same bonus stock account.
This works fine for MIGO receipt directly with the Purchase Order but we get the error message above with Inbound Deliveries.
I cannot see anywhere obvious in config which might sort this issue, but am unsure why multiple movement types on a Goods Receipt would be allowed against a Purchase Order but not an Inbound Delivery.

    Hi,
Try with the below mentioned settings,
goto SPRO -> Materials Management -> Inventory Management & Physical Invetory -> Settings for enjoy transactions -> Settings for good movements(MIGO) -> Settings for transactions & reference documents -> select MIGO_GR -> Click on transaction/event -> select goods receipt -> click on reference documents -> remove the tick mark on active.

  • How to handle multiple exception types in JSF 2?

Is your data model right? If you are adding in one and deleting in another it sounds to me more like a process that an entity, in which case you may revisit your data model and simplify it, add in a session bean with the process method to co-ordinate between the two.
However, if you want to map multiple different tables within a single entity bean it is possible and just part of the mapping. How you actualyl specify it depends on which implementation you are working with.
    Cheers,
    Peter.

  • Multiple Chart Types

Is there a way to have multiple charts types in one chart. I can not seem to figure it out. For example, I would like to display events per day as a bar chart and on the same chart have the average of events over the last week displayed as a line.

I have come up with a far from perfect way to overcome this. With two data sets using the same x-axis values, I made two separate charts in 3D mode (can't get it to work in 2D). Then, I set one of the charts to have its Y-axis on the left and the other on the right. You will have to also change the colour for one of the charts. As the default first colour for most of the colour groups is blue, you'll either have to choose 'fun' or a textured group. Remove the x-axis values from one of the charts. Align the two charts, group and resize to your preferred size. You might need to ungroup and then resize one of them again to get a proper fit. Bear in mind that once they're grouped, you can't make any cosmetic changes to the charts - although data changes will be properly updated.
Rather labour intensive, but sufficient until Apple gets its act together on this.

  • Multiple output types in MIGO_GI

    Hi all,
In my current setting, a message type would be created and printed immediately once the material doc. of goods issue (MIGO_GI) is posted. (Movement type = 261)
Now, it is required to offer some flexibility to users when printing the mat. doc.
Is there any room to create multiple message types automatically and let the user to select one output type to print in MIGO_GI instead of MB90?
    Many Thanks!

if you configure multiple output types for mvmt 261, you can set them so that they do not print immediately. But then the user would have to use MB90 to choose the output type.
    or,
If the user's profile does not have "Print immediately" set, then they can go to their spool to choose and print.
    Or
As mentioned above, create user exit to pop-up a window to choose from upon saving.
    Or
If specific users always need to print one output type, and others print another output type, you can configure multiple output types using the "Plant, Storage Location, User Group" option for printer determination. Then, create a profile for each output type. Configure the combination of output type, plant, sloc, user group, and printer. Then, assign the user groups to the appropriate people in their PIDS using PID ND9, value = the user group you defined.
