Multiple country implementation

Hi Gurus,
i am working in a Portal related project.
We are rolling out for multiple countries at a time.
What are the things i need to take into consideration from SAP SD perspective?
Thank you

Configuration as below:
1.Enterprise Structure (based on every Country's requirement).
2. Cuatomer and Material Master Data.
3. Sales Document Type required for each Country for Sales Order, Delivery and Billing Document.
4. All Relevant Number Ranges.

  • Multiple Country of Origin at a Material Master level- Foreign Trade import

    Hi Gurus,
We have a requirement to store Multiple Country of origin at a Material Master level . One Part/Material is sourced from different vendors and they are manufactured in different countries . Please note that we are not using Batch Management . Is there any workaround to have this scenario without using standard Batch Management .
    Thanks,
    Prabuddha

    hi,
you can use split valuation for this by using the valuation category field in material master in accounting 1 view.
in this you have to maintain valuation category as "H" = ORIGIN.
For split valution procedure you have to reffer the  follow this link.

  • WLC 5508 multiple country codes, limitations

    Hi CSC,
Currently we are running 2x 5508 (7.2.111.3) in our Regional DC and all AP's from APAC are connected in H-REAP mode.
On each WLC the following country codes are configured:
    Configured Country Code(s):
CN, ID, IN, J2, J3, J4, JP, KE, KR, PH, PH2, TH, TW
    Regulatory Domain:
    802.11a:      -ACEJKNPTU
    802.11bg:    -ACEJP
We have some sites (mainly China), which facing issues on WLAN recently (slow performance, weak signal..etc.
RF & power level are 'managed' by WLC.
After reviewieing some sites with our vendor, the feedback to improve stability/perfromace, was to either run just 1 country code/WLC..or set RF/power level manually for each AP. (which of course would be an admin nightmare!!)
I havent found the same information on cisco.com & thought connecting AP's from different country's to the same WLC works well (incl. having the WLC manage power/rf)?
Are there any limitations, when having multiple country codes on same WLC?
    Appreciate your feedback.
    Thanks,
    Stefan

As far as I remember, every AP with a different country code have different permissible level of power and a regulatory authority board monitors these. So in case you wanna mix the AP with different codes, it will choose the ones with lower power level and operate which might not be to your advantage since the users might want to operate at higher power level. So, you can find out the permissible level of Transmission power and group AP with same level together and get another WLC. Also, run a site survey to check for interference. Might help

  • Wlc 5508 multiple country codes + mesh ap

    Hello,
Currently my solution consist of two 5508 controllers and several non-mesh and few mesh AP (2600) running in flexconnect mode in one single site in europe.
    Everything is going fine.
However there is going to be a new site in Canada.
I found some documentation saying that multiple country code is not available for mesh ap. Mesh ap are not going to join controller if multiple country code configured . but all this documentation is regarding version 7.2 and older.
Im running version 7.4.100.0 and on configuration guide I don't find anything related to that.
Am I going to have problems with this as well?
If yes, what is the recommendation solution for this situation?
    Thanks in advance,
    Chris

They do support multiple country code, but with regulations, the WLC will use the common channels and power for each of the countries you have defined. Now this will never change so its still best to have separate WLC per country if possible. Especially with mesh since the backhaul is on the 5ghz, this is really your limitation is you have AP's in a country where there is no allowed 5ghz or a minimum number of allowed channels.

  • Multiple active implementations for filter value EXEC_METHODCALL_PPF

    Hi,
I have created an implementation for the EXEC_METHODCALL_PPF badi which is triggered from an action in a transaction. It is working fine in the development system but while transporting it to the quality system I am getting the following error.
Multiple active implementations for filter value EXEC_METHODCALL_PPF definition
Errors occurred during post-handling AFTER_IMP_SXCI for SXCI L
    AFTER_IMP_SXCI belongs to package SECE
The errors affect the following components:
    BC-DWB-CEX (Customer Enhancements)
When i refer to the documentation of the error message it says....
Multiple active implementations for filter value EXEC_METHODCALL_PPF definition
    Message no. ENHANCEMENT474
    Diagnosis
There are multiple active implementations of the same business add-in definition, even though this is not allowed.
    System Response
This is not correct and should not occur.
    Procedure
Deactivate the implementations active for this BAdI definition one by one until there is only one active implementation left.
You should use transaction SE18 (Utilities -> Adjustment -> Multiple-use interfaces) to solve these conflicts systematically.
But I am apprehensive if deactivating all the standard implemenatations of the badi will create any problem. Please can any one suggest as to how to resolve this issue....
Any help would be highly appreciated.

    Hello,
    Please check the following suggestions
    a) go to se18 -> enter your definition name and see if "Multiple" call check box is ticked in Quality
b)compare your transports since some objects in development may not have found it's way to the quality server
c)Please see if for the same definition, for different filter values...implementations are done...if so,is multiple checkbox marked? in quality also?if you have multiple implementations with the check box not marked..the message conveys u cannot have multiple implementations of the same badi....
d)also check if the filter being passed to the BADI is ok
Hope it was useful in some way
    Reward if helpful

  • Country implementation 40 does not exist for category IT and type 2001

    Dear Experts,
I am getting the following error
"Country implementation 40 does not exist for category IT and type 2001".
when I tried to create a leave request. I think the HR Ess configuration is complete.
Kindly, give your valuable inputs, hence I can try & resolve this issue, as I am stuck with this for quite sometime.
Your inputs will be really valuable.
    Thanks
    Bala

After suffering this same problem and not finding any help or information ANYWHERE, I debugged the process and found that the error is caused by a missing entry in view V_BLPTYPECOUNTRY.
I created a new entry in the view with a blank molga and the error goes away.
    The entry I added was:
    Category = IT
    Data Typ = 2001
    Ctry Grouping = (blank)
    Class = CL_PT_BLP_IT2001
I hope that this can help anyone having the same problem in the future.

  • Multiple Language Implementation

I need help with a Multiple Language Implementation. We are in a process of implementation of Oracle HRMS/Self Service HRMS and I have some questions on MLS.
    Thanks
    Himanshu

    Hello Sanket,
Thanks for the information. I did look at the document and it was very helpful. However I still have one question
If we do not install other language packs and enter the other language information in DFFs (this is assuming the database is UTF8) what are the issues we should expect. Would that data work fine with reports and interfaces.
Would it be possible for me to talk to you over the phone. I would not take more than 10 minutes.
    Thanks again

  • Can Local Mode Cisco Mesh APs (1522/1552) be supported in a Multiple country code 5508 WLC?

I've read previous discussions (i.e., "wlc 5508 multiple country codes + mesh ap") on this forum that stated Mesh APs can't be supported on a WLC set-up with more than one country code configured. If you have Outdoor APs which are set-up for local mode only, and not used in a Mesh wireless architecture (using Mesh Beacons), will this apply as well? I don't know if there are any caveats to this. Or if Cisco 1522/1552 APs can't be supported on a WLC using more than one country code period, regardless for how they are used, since they are considered Mesh APs. Another question, can a WLC support two regions (Region E and Region A), in a two country code assignment? I've read on the forum the downfalls for using more than one country code on a WLC, so understand that it will use the lowest common denominator settings (i.e., power, channels) for operation, so this isn't ideal.
I want to stick to one controller using one country code only. This isn't something I want to do, but we had an issue with an order being processed for APs, which resulted in the wrong region APs being delivered by a vendor, and leadership is exploring alternative options. So, the above is worst case scenario planning if we can't swap the APs back for some legal reason, or if it takes too long to accomplish. We could always purchase a smaller WLC with a license size to support only the different region APs purchased if it comes to it.

    Hi,
As per my experience, Normal APs(Local Mode) can work with multiple Country Code .
WLC can support multiple country code but it's a bad idea to have it. Only common channel, power will allowed.
Best is to buy a 2504WLC and use it.

  • BADI having multiple enhancement implementations

    Hi,
The requirement is to have multiple implementations of a BADI. In the program i have to call each of the implementations of this specific BADI.
Is this how to do it.
    1. Firstly i just know the enhacement spot details like the BADI name and the interface name. With this information i want to find all the enhancement implementations that exists for the given BADI name or interface name.
I tried the following method, but does not seem to work.
    CALL METHOD cl_exit_master=>create_obj_by_interface_filter
      EXPORTING
        inter_name                = 'IF_SSP_USER_SETTINGS'
       method_name               =
       flt_val                   =
       internal                  = SXRT_FALSE
       caller                    =
       delayed_instance_creation = SXRT_FALSE
      IMPORTING
        exit_obj_tab              = lt_EXIT_OBJ_TAB
    2. Once i get all the enhancement implementations, i want to call them one by one, i.e. a specific method of each of them.
Am i right in what i am doing given my requirement as stated above. If not, please direct me as to how i can achieve it.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Madhura Lobo

    Arun,
Many thanks, and you're right about having different enhancement sets active, although you can control which enhancement set is active via the BADI COMPONENT...something...
However, in my case I shall remove the other two unused enhancement sets as this is just asking for trouble, if they remain.
I must admit I would like to see more control, perhaps a warning, to say that there is already an active enhancement set when you create a new one. This can easily happen when you have multiple developers on the project, of which some are junior.
Anyway, your time is much appreciated.

  • WebUtil file transfer in multiple user implementation

    Hi
Installed WebUtil and able to integrate forms/reports in Web enviroenment 10gAs.
Around 30 to 40 people will use this application, Now to do client side integration (To Save generated output to Cleint m/c) we are geerating file on AppServer and transferring using Webutil file transfer but my question if multiple users running same report from form and generates two different date ranges to generate to same file on Appserver, How Can I use WebUtil file tranfer for two people running same report. Is that going to be problem in concurrent user environment.
Setup 10gAs, User A select report A and run with two different data ranges and file saved on Appserver as test.pdf and now user b want to run same report with time range little bit different time range and file has to be saved to same test.pdf on ApopServer, Now how oracle going to handle this ???????.
Pl answer this is very important as we are running this reports in Web implementation with more than 30 users.
    Many thanks in advance.
    Murthy

Surely the real issue is that you are always generating to the same filename? Incorporate an identifier into the filename. e.g. the username

  • Installation of Multiple Country versions in one single Instance

    Hi,
We are  evaluating the feasibility  of rolling out  CIN into an existing ECC6 environment, which has been already configured with country version Brazil.
Our plan is to roll the CIN on a different client .  However, we have few apprehensions of the implications of the same. Can some one please share their inputs in this regard?
    Thanks In advance.
    Anil

Can you explain your query KFs structure..
Seems that in your report there is 1 KF for each version....but you have 1 input variable which holds multiple values ...If thats right..then how are you getting values for diff versions from 1 & same variable..
No, there is one key figure for each document..
    for example,
    (doc/calday/version/sales revenue)
    DOC00001   01012011   0       100BRL
    DOC00002   01012011   A1    120BRL
    DOC00003   01012011   R1    110BRL
In the report, the user can filter by one or more version, and based on wich version he selects, for each version we need to use a specific currency translation.
The structure in the query is
    In Lines
    Sales Revenue
    In columns
    Calday / Version

  • Multiple country of origins

Similar to other postings, we manufacture the same material number in multiple countries.  Because we have batch management, we can store the COO at the batch level to meet this requirement.
However, we have a foreign trade requirement to declare either the Fabrication country or the Assembly country based on the country that we are shipping to.
What options do I have in determining the COO based on the ship-to country?  Is there any configuration that will allow me to do this?
    Thank you.
    Andy

good suggestion and i'll play with that a bit.  Making this a mandatory entry will be time-consuming due to our large volume of orders/deliveries.
Does anyone else have to account for different COO depending on the ship-to site?   What was your solution?

  • Multiple country of origin

    HI Gurus
client have some parts that can be procured from different countris.
for eg: material A can be procured from india, chaina, US.
in material master i can only maintain one country of origin eg only us or only china, only us.
lets say that in MMR, i have mainintained as India.
the stock of material A is 100. 50 from US, 25 from china, 25 india.
how should i proceed to let the system know this material A is multi sourced item?
    please help me our

    Dear archana
If the component sourced from multiple vendors and sold to another customer, then you need to consider the following:-
    - whether the customer insists for one country of origin
    - whether the customer is open to buy the component irrespective of origin
If the first condition has to be adhered, then you need to have a seperate part code.
If the component is only for internal purpose and will not be sold to any customer, It is enough if you maintain one material code.  It is not necessary that you should maintain country of origin.  Only thing you should distinguish is that whether the imported component is Duty Paid or Duty Free.  Depending upon this, you can have two Valuation Type and assign in Accounting1 view of material master.
    thanks

  • Multiple Country of Origin for single outbound delivery line item

We are attempting to find an a solution to record multiple countries of origin for a single SAP delivery line.
It seems standard SAP delivery only contains the ability to store a single "HERKL" value linked to the delivery line. (It creates a customs master in EIPO and links this to the delivery header)
We need a solution to be able to record multiple of these values without the use of Batch Management.
The example below demonstrates our requirement:
    Scenario: Delivery 1001
    - 1 line consisting of 5 eaches of a single part
    - When picking we find:
    - 3 eaches which where from Belgium
    -2 eaches from Germany
without splitting the line somehow we are not able to add mutliple values
Note: We are integrating with an external WMS system and interfacing in these documents using IDOC processing and therefore it would be very beneficial if someone could provide both functional steps (application side) and technical steps (function modules, classes, etc) which can be used
Thank you for your help in advance

    Hi,
Yes, it will work if items are lot controlled.
(you can use the same logic if the item serial controlled as well...using Serial Number DFF)
However, if the item is a plain item, there is no direct way of storing and retrieving the attributes ...such as country of origin, supplier name, etc ...
    Thanks,
    Hrishi
