I do not see any differences in $ORACLE_HOME/log/cas-node1/crsd/crsd.log and $ORACLE_HOME/log/cas-node2/crsd/crsd.log.
Please, tell me what may be wrong on first node and where to look for solution?

I have a small problem. It's mainly a matter of saving some time. I need to create 51 map tile layers in mapviewer, and I would like to this this at one time. I can go to the admin console-->Management-->Manage Map Tile Layers-->Create, and then I can create one at a time. But it really would be nice to create them all at once!
I tried using the XML mode interface, and I can use the following code to create one map tile layer:

It looks like you are right! Thank you for your help.
I still have a small concern. I looked at the documentation and it reads,
"The configuration settings for a cache instance are stored in the USER_SDO_CACHED_MAPS metadata view. You should normally not manipulate this view directly, but should instead use the MapViewer administration tool, which uses this view to configure map cache instances."
But, I tried inserting records into USER_SDO_CACHED_MAPS and it works, and I can't really see any reason not to directly insert records into this table, so...
Perhaps that warning is there simply because potentially you could screw things up tinkering with the table directly.

How do you change multiple 'Video Kind' values at once?

first of all, sorry if this has already been asked, but I tried searching for a straight answer in here and in other forums without any luck..
.. but I was wondering if there is a way to select multiple videos, and change their video kind to something else, all at once(eg. from Movie to Music Video)...
...When I select a group of videos and click get info, it doesn't give me the option to change the video kind, so I've had to change each one, one at a time, (which gets very tiresome :P)...
...so is there a way to change multiple 'Video Kind' values at once, or should I pray that it becomes available in the next update of iTunes?

You can't do it right now. Wait for the next update, and hope it's there.
For the moment, I suggest selecting Get Info on one song, changing the setting, then hitting the next button at the bottom to go right to the Get Info for the next song. You can rapidly change lots of these that way.

Multiple storage bin for single material

Hi,
We wanted to assign multiple storage bins in the material master as the material is stored in mutilple storage bin in the same storage location. We are not using WM.
We want to resolve the issue without implementing WM.
Please advice where and how do we maintain the same.
In plant data / stor 1 view there is a provision for maintaining only one storage bin.

it is not possible without WM.
As workaround :
You either create for each storage bin a storage location,
or
you active batch management and let the batch work as bin.

Missing /usr/bin/reboot

i use GNOME and arch is up to date as it can be after doing a "pacman -Syu".
when i use GNOME's shutdown-dialog to reboot the system, GNOME and X stop as they should, but then the system gives a message, "Command failed /usr/bin/reboot" and a short description that it wasn't found.
the system then takes a short breath of about 5-10 seconds and reboots as it should.
well, there is no /usr/bin/reboot on my harddisk, just /sbin/reboot...why?
had the same thing some days ago on another system. was /usr/bin/reboot removed during one of the last updates and GNOME still tries to use it instead of /sbin/reboot?

I had this problem as well and couldn't work out what I had done wrong - I hadn't been fiddling with any settings, honest. Anyway, it first occurred last Saturday when I shutdown my PC after these updates:

Thing is, looking back through older log entries, the warning about failing to execute /usr/bin/reboot or /usr/bin /poweroff is always there on reboot/shutdown but I had never before seen it echoed to the screen. Anyway, I wasn't sure where to report the bug but made my own fix in the meantime by adding the following to the daemon section of /etc/gdm/defaults.conf
RebootCommand=/sbin/reboot
HaltCommand=/sbin/poweroff
The other consequence of those Saturday updates, which hasn't gone away yet, is that the normal shutdown messages - stopping this, stopping that etc. - don't always appear. It's not consistent but more often than not gnome will drop to a console with a login prompt and my PC will shutdown a few seconds later If I don't start gnome and just run /sbin/poweroff from the console then the usual messages will appear. As far as I can tell, however, my PC is shutting down properly despite the lack of messages.
EDIT: And /sbin is in my path.

How to get multiple reports on sreen at once

we have the oracle base environment and using dev2k for screens, reports and graphs etc. i have to face the common objection from our users that they can get multiple reports on screen at once in earlier application built in foxpro but in oracle they can not.
basically reports background engine makes queue for reports and execute one report at a time. i know there is a function 'open_object' or 'open_report' but in that option no facility to pass multiple parameters to the reprot and we have almost all reports those required multiple parameters passed through forms/screen to set the criterea for the reports.
can anyone help me in this regard that how can i view more then one report at a time and sending different parameters at the same time.

Hi,
use the power-switch on the left backside of your iMac to turn your Mac off.
Use it again to restart your Mac and hold down the Alt/Option-button to get to the Boot Selection screen.
Choose OSX.
Once in OSX go to System Preferences - Startup Volume and reset it to use OSX as the default.
Am I right assuming that you try to install Windows XP on a new (2011) iMac ?
If so, XP is no longer supported by Apple for use/install With BootCamp.
But there are some success stories when using a XP with SP3.

Feature Request: Add multiple photos to catalog at once

The API currently allows you to use catalog:addPhoto() to add a single photo to the catalog.
This works fine, but a poor user experience when adding a number of photos (esp. dozens or hundreds) - there's a separate child progress bar for each, masking the overall progress, and if the user has a sound enabled on import, it plays the sound on each photo import. If there were a way to import multiple photos at once (or API options/params to disable both of the feedbacks), this would make for a better UX when importing a lot of pictures.

Does anyone know how to delete multiple (or ALL) Live Meeting content at once? I currently have over 400 "shared" items, as I wasn't diligent about removing after a meeting. I'd like to remove it, but one at a time is TOO slow...

How to import multiple videos to project at once?

Bonjour, first off, I love the iMovie iOS app, however, I feel it's missing a key feature. Is there a way for me to add multiple videos into a project at once without having to select them individually, and have the screen close, then having to re open it, and search for the other, and so on and so forth.
It would be so much easier if I could just select multiple videos from the import feature on my phone. The videos take a while as it is to load in the feature, my project is being created from oldest to newest, so I have to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the list, wait for all the videos to load so I can, and then an only select one so I must repeat the process.
Any way around this yet?

Import all your videos into iPhoto's library.
Step 1: Plug your phone into your computer
Step 2: open iPhoto (or if you have an iPhone it should open automatically)
Step 3: click on you phone under "Devices"
Step 4: hold down the "Command" key while selecting ALL the videos you want to import
Step 5: Under "Event Name" give all your videos a general title (ie. Vacation)
Step 5: Import
Step 6: Open iMovie and look for the event name under Event Library

Mac Pro crashes multiple times after rebooting from boot camp

Everytime i reboot into OSX after using Vista in boot camp, i crash within seconds (grey screen takes over saying i need to hold down power button, etc.) i reboot. get back on my desktop in OSX and apple wants me to send the information because the comp shut down improperly, but within seconds, i crash again. this process repeats about 4-6 times till it finally is able to stay on and not have to reboot.
i have a mac pro 8-core with OS 10.5.4. I use boot camp (unsure of version is that matters) and Vista Business Version.
this only happens when i restart into OSX after using boot camp vista. anyone know what may be the problem? i feel reluctant to use boot camp knowing the problems i will face once i return to OSX. not to mention, the wear and tear my comp is suffering from the manual shut downs and restarts.

I'm sorry but that genius is waaaay off. it has nothing to do with windows, it has to do with the way EACH OS stores the time in the hardware EFI/BIOS
Its a known issue with using two different platforms
OSX reads time for the time zone its selected windows doesnt think it needs to change all the time, so it creates its based off the previous changes in BIOS/EFI
The time should auto-adjust in Windows/OSX or just click Update Time in either

Select a track, shift+click another to select the range in between.

There is an SMP 3.0 setup installed in a server and 5 developers are to practise and work on the SMP from their local machines. How can this be achieved . Only one developer can login to the server once right ?

Multiple cold dtart reboot problem may be linked to Audio drivers!

All-
I received my RMAed board (975x PUE) back 2 weeks ago as there was a problem with my board. Re-installed everything...after afinally figuring out that no other drives but the SATA raid volume need to be in for install or raid volume will not be C: Everything was working fine until I loaded my Audigy Gamer sound card drivers, then windows could not start-up normally. I ripped out the card and restored windows to before the indtall. Everything back to working. So then I decided to install the on-board audio driver and bango! Lot's of cold boot and reboot problems. It usually takes 2-3 tried before windows will come up properly. I have downloaded the latest drivers for both MSI and Realtek...problem still remains.
Any ideas?

I have not flashed the bios and it is the on-board sound! Any idea why cold boot and re-start take multiple tries?
