Multiple Dashbaord Tabs appearing at once

Hello All
I have created a few dashboards eg Sales , Purchasing, Stock, Production etc
My default dashboard is Sales, so when i first login I see the first page of the sales dashboard
However, to access another dashboard i have to click on dashboards and select the relavant dashboard i want to open. (As 1 Dashboard can be in operation at once)
BUT
is it possible to have all the tabs for alll dashboards available (top left hand corner)
Therefore when i login i will be directed to the sales dashboard as before, but i would have the TABS available for dashboards for Purchasing, Stock, Production
Can anyone help?

I have just tried to create an action link for a dashboard eg Production - I cant seem to create a action link for a entire dashboard i can only create action links for individual reports
Also how do attach these actions links as tabs next to the tab that is currently open

Ipod nano 6G. Where is Nike + iPod tab appears in the iTunes window?

As for the UIShell vs multi browser tabs, it's a UI design question. Once upon a time Mozilla Thunderbird used to open emails in separate windows (= multi browser tabs) and now uses inline tabs (= UI Shell). Which is the right way? Neither, depends on your user requirements.

Multiple selection tab on Custom F4 of select option in report

Hi folks ,
how to get MULTIPLE SELECTION tab on extension of my selec option of report screen.
If i pass Multiple_choice = 'X' in fm 'F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST' check boxes are appearing of each my f4 values when i press f4, i dnt want like this i want it my extension as Multiple selection as how it appears for standard 4 helps.

Any selectin screens element(select-option) if we click on extension we will get a pop up window with SINGLE VALUES,SELECT RANGES,EXCLUDE SINGLE VALUES, EXCLUDE RANGES bottome of this window we are having some icons along with it we have MULTIPLE SELECTION Tab.if we click on multiple selection tab we will be getting our all values with checkboxes each front of it so that we can select multiple vlaues at a time for the particular f4 .
i want this multiple selection tab for my custome F4, iam not getting this MULTIPLE SELECTION tab.
for example you can check for select-option of account group(T077D-KTOKD).
in F4 function module if iam using paramter MULTIPLE_CHOICE = 'X', iam not getting the extension pop window with singlevalues, select ranges etc ., instead of it iam getting all my f4 fields with the checkboxes infront of each of it.

Freezes whenever loading videos or two tabs open at once

if i have two tabs open at once, and try to watch a video it freezes up, or the screen at least. sometimes the video sound keeps playing but the window in frozen.
I have the new version of firefox, which i just downloaded.

At variance with Firefox 3, Firefox 4 does not ask me to save the opened tabs when I quit on having multiple opened tabs. How can I do this in Firefox 4?

In Firefox 3, when I happened to close the program on having multiple opened tabs, Firefox asked me if I wanted to save and remember the opened tabs, so that I could retrieve them at the next Firefox restart. Firefox 4 does not do this anymore. Is it because I have not configured it correctly somehow, or is this normal? How can I recover this function?

One change in Firefox 4 is to by default stop Firefox displaying the warning message, but it can be turned back on by changing some preferences.

Deleted Tabs Appearing in Portal

hi.
i have a very simple portal website. I had created 6 tabs at the beginning. Tab 3, i decided to change after creating a few portlets, and tab 4 i decided to delete. In tab 3 i changed the subtabs and the portlets as well as the name of the tab.
however when i logout of the site and view the public url, all the new tabs appear when viewing tab 1, but when i click on another tab the old tabs appear. so 3 shows its old design, and 4 appears, even though i deleted it. I thought something is cached somewhere? When i log in to edit the site, the tab 3 is correct and tab 4 is deleted. Has anyone seen this before? I would think this is a simple thing to correct, I have deleted and purged the old items in the portal but still no luck. I also have replicated this on multiple machines?? any ideas? Also I have tried to completely delete tab 3 and create a new one.

you need to use txn SE41.
In my case I entered into the program field: SAPLCRM_ACTIVITY_UI
Select the radio button: Function list
Click on Change button
Select the record with field Function Code = ACTIVITY_SURVEY
Change the Function Text to Questionnaires.
Activate the change.

Unwanted extra tabs appear on restart or if I click the "home" icon

Possibly coincident with a Firefox hangup last week, now on every restart of Firefox I get three additional tabs (always the same tabs). This also happens if I have Firefox open, and hit the "home" icon - the same additional three tabs appear. I have cleared history, cookies, also removed sessionstore.* with no effect on the problem.

With the new update: I click on .pdf to download and multiple new tabs open w/o downloading .pdf file

Firefox opens multiple new tabs and does not stop doing so until I close the browser and even then it opens up on its own and continues to open multiple new tabs. If I do not get to it quickly enough, I may have to do this more than twice.
I have tried downloading a study on Internet Explorer and do not have this issue. There is also a Microsoft Word option that works on Firefox but it's the .pdf that is the problem.
I have not attempted to download any other .pdf files from other sites so I do not know if it is a problem with all .pdf files. But as stated above, it is not an issue with .pdf on IE.

If the hard drive that crashed is the one that stored the itunes library, be sure to restore the library from Time Machine (mac) or whatever backup you use on windows. That will get back your music. I suspect that the replacement drive has an empty itunes library and thus, perhaps, the itunes match used that to sync to its servers.

How can I get a Album that contains multiple artists to appear as a single album with multiple tracks? Also when I sync iTunes with my iPhone or iPad the Album appears as multiple albums with each artist. The Album title is the same on each of the affected tracks.

Quick answer: Select all the tracks on the album, File > get info, and either give them all a single "album artist" or check the "compilation" flag.
If these are from multiple-CD sets you may also need to enter the appropriate information in the disc number fields.

Is there a way to create multiple map tile layers at once?

I have a small problem. It's mainly a matter of saving some time. I need to create 51 map tile layers in mapviewer, and I would like to this this at one time. I can go to the admin console-->Management-->Manage Map Tile Layers-->Create, and then I can create one at a time. But it really would be nice to create them all at once!
I tried using the XML mode interface, and I can use the following code to create one map tile layer:

It looks like you are right! Thank you for your help.
I still have a small concern. I looked at the documentation and it reads,
"The configuration settings for a cache instance are stored in the USER_SDO_CACHED_MAPS metadata view. You should normally not manipulate this view directly, but should instead use the MapViewer administration tool, which uses this view to configure map cache instances."
But, I tried inserting records into USER_SDO_CACHED_MAPS and it works, and I can't really see any reason not to directly insert records into this table, so...
Perhaps that warning is there simply because potentially you could screw things up tinkering with the table directly.

Each time I try to download a file document (ie. PDF), foxfire begins to open multiple new tabs, and wont quit. it also never really opens the file , and I can't stop the action unless I log off.

I am unable to download any files without multiple new tabs opening at the top of my screen. I am unable to identify what the tabs are for and can't stop the process without logging off Foxfire completely. FoxFire has also corrupted other files and made them impossible to download (saved files)
