Multiple devices one Adobe ID

I manage several PC and servers and want to use a single Adobe ID.  I am a subscriber (administrator) to CC for teams Since the Adobe ID is my email address that presents a problem since a single ID can only validate 2-copies of the CC.  Does the Adobe ID have to be an email address?  In other words, can I authorize / invite additional users for CC for teams without using their email address as the Adobe ID?

You will have to send invites to the users, which the invitees have to accept from their Email, so the Email ID to which you will be assigning the seats has to be valid Email ID so that a user can accept the invite & install the CC.
You have an option to use the CC packager too. Creative Cloud Help | Packager

  • Multiple devices, one email - how can I see from iPad if I've replied from iPhone.

Hi, I use both my iPhone and iPad to access my email. When I reply to a message on a device, I get an icon on the email on that device showing that I've replied. However, when I access the same email account from the other device, I don't see a replied icon. Any way I can get the replies synching so that I van see if I've replied across multiple devices?
(Particularly useful since my wife and I share one of the emails we access so useful to see if the other one of us has replied)
    Thanks
    Ed

  • Multiple devices, one Apple ID

    Hi-
My husband and I share an Apple ID (multiple email addresses).  He often plugs in his iPhone to sync it to our iMac.  If I plug in my iPhone, will it delete my contacts and sync with what is uploaded to the computer (his contacts)?

There is that risk, but there are ways to avoid problems. See: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1495 for advice on how to use multiple devices with the same computer.

  • Multiple Devices, one i-Tunes

I am sure this has been asked many times, but..... I have a Nano that I use regularly, synched to i-tunes. I am considering a new i-touch as well. Can I synch and manage my library using 2 devices off of one i-tunes program? I want to have my nano for workouts, etc...but use the i-touch for travel, car, more storage.. Can this be done, or do i have to have 2 i-tunes on the computer?

You can use as many iPods as you like with one iTunes library. iTunes will recognise each iPod as a unique device and each iPod will have it's own settings.
There are several different ways to use two or more iPods with one computer, some involving one library others involving multiple libraries. Have a look at this help page for suggestions and choose the method that suits you best: How to use multiple iPods with one computer

  • ICloud with multiple devices - one Apple ID

2 ipads - one for me and one for my children
1 apple ID - mine (kids aren't technically old enough)
2 - emails - .mac and .me (currently the kids have aliases under the .me which are collected in a folder
Somehow in the set up my original ipad was set up with my email ending in .me and the kids was set up with .mac
As the dust has settled somewhat in configuring both to have seperate imessage and facetime capablities which I have managed to do, I would like to switch the e-mail accounts so that the .mac account is listed on mine and the .me listed on the kids.
Is anyone aware of this situation and can help.
My secondary issue would be to find a way to use mail where my e-mail can be hidden from the kids.  I don't think this is possible but I thought I would ask?
    I appeciate your responses.

What, exactly, are you trying to do? You can use the same iCloud account on as many devices as you want, as long as you don't turn on iTunes Match. Once you turn on Match, you're limited to 10 devices total.
Is this what you want to do...same iCloud account, but different iTunes/App store accounts on each device? If so, you can do that also.

  • Multiple Devices, One Apple ID, iMessage Chaos

    Hi all,
Wanted to bring up a new "feature" of iOS 6 - probably already has been discussed here a few times, but this is a real pain and something that I think Apple has backwards.
My wife, daughter and I each have an iPhone 4, and son has an iPod Touch.  All of us have upgraded to iOS 6, and we all share one Apple ID.
Everyone is able to turn iMessage on without any issue, but - every OTHER device is given the option of accepting messages sent to the newly activated device.  They can either accept or deny the ability to do so, but then going into the iMessage settings they can reactivate this "feature."
Shouldn't the setup be that when activating iMessage from a device, it gives THAT device and only that device the option of whether the other devices have the ability to send / receive messages?
We were all wondering why on earth we were all receiving iMessages from friends of my wife, friends of my daughter, people I work with, etc.  It's a huge hassle - so much so that we have all turned iMessage off.
Big disappointment in this implementation - the option to share should be owned by the device that is turned on, not the other devices that are already on the account.
    Thanks,
    Scott

OK, I think I'm getting it.
Example:  dad, mom, son.   (we need 4 AppleID accounts)
    Dad's iPhone:
    iTunes AppleID = family@ me.com
    iMessage AppleID = dad@ me.com
    Dad's iPad
    iTunes AppleID = family@ me.com
    iMessage AppleID = dad@ me.com
    Mom's iPhone
    iTunes AppleID = family@ me.com
    iMessage AppleID = mom@ me.com
    Son's iPod
    iTunes AppleID = family@ me.com
    iMessage AppleID = son@ me.com
Family Computer -- each person has their own User Login.  So just like individual devices, we use the shared (family@ me.com) for AppleID on iTunes, but use our personal (dad@ me.com) appleID for Messages.
When Mom finally buy's an iPad and powers it up for the first time, it prompts her for an Apple ID.
From reading literature at Apple, I believe it initially applies this single AppleID to everything on your new device.  It's up to the user to go in and change iMessage (within iMessage, sign-out of current AppleID and sign-in with a different one)
    Is this correct?

  • Multiple devices one itunes account - need help!

We have one computer, 2 iphones & one ipad, all on the same itunes account and now I can't update my iphone because all of my husbands crap is on my phone and there's not enough storage even after purchasing more storage.
how can I set up my iphone on just MY account?  I don't want all of his apps & stuff on my phone, and now I can't update my phone, buy apps I want, ect...storage is FULL, but only on my phone.  His is fine....of course.
    Thanks for any help.

I have ipod touch, When you register the ipod Touch give it a unique name. I have also connected all three at same time unless there is an issue I have missed I have had no problem. YOu can also set an option so that when you connect the device itunes will not start and then you can manually start it and choose the device you want to upgrade..etc.

  • FaceTime issues with multiple devices & one account

I have an iPhone 5s, an iPad Mini and 2 iPod Touch devices, all on the same account and Apple ID. Is there any way to iMessage or FaceTime from one device to ONE other device(not all of them)? Thanks!

You can create another Appleid and use it only for FaceTime and/or messages on 1ipad.
In this manner you can maintain a parent account for all and have child accounts for messaging only.
You would simply log out of messages and log in with new id

  • Multiple devices, one apple id, many problems :)

    We have several apple devices:
    Me: iphone 5s, ipad mini
    daughter: iphone 6, ipad 3
    son: iphone 4, ipad 3
For years we have been sharing the same apple id, and the kids use their own email addresses for imessage.
Now, I'm trying to set up family sharing, and they would like to use the same addresses for imessaging.  But even after deleting the email from our apple account, it will not allow me to add to family sharing.
If I create new apple id's for the kids, will they lose any of the apps they currently use?  My son is very concerned about losing his "worlds" on Minecraft! LOL
Also, can I use their email addresses for new apple id's?
    Any advice would be appreciated!
    Thank you

No. iDevices are single user devices. You cannot have two users with two IDs using the same device. Either they use one Apple ID or you buy one their own device.
Yes, Family Sharing will do that now.

  • Multiple devices, one account

Is it legal to purchase an app and put it on more than one device with the same account? If so, is there a way to transfer an app from an iphone to an ipod touch when there is no wifi to connect the ipod touch to the internet/app store?
    Thanks!

I understand about syncing - that is not my question. I am asking if there is any OTHER way to transfer apps if you are in a situation where you do not have access to itunes or wifi (to re-download from the app store). There are apps to transfer pictures (i.e. Bump), so I was wondering if there is a way to transfer apps.

  • Authorizing multiple devices in Adobe Digital Editions

When I try to authorize my computer for Adobe Digital Editions, I get a message that says "You can only authorize this computer with an Adobe ID that hasn't been previously used to authorize any other computer or mobile devices. Please try again." What do I need to do?

  • Multiple devices, one iTunes, how to transer and sync properly

    I have a complicated question.
I recently purchase a new iphone and ipad.  I now have 3 devices, personal iphone, work iphone and an ipad 2 (which has not been synched yet).
My personal iphone is connected to my personal computer, a PC.  My PC has my entire music collection connected to but is stored on an external hard drive.
My work iphone is connected to another computer, a mac book pro. This has no music, some media files and all the applications for my work iphone plus some photos and videos I use for work.
As I stated, I have not hooked the ipad 2 up yet.
I want to transfer the itunes library from my PC to my mac but keep it on the external hard drive for portability and safety as I travel with the mac and would prefer to keep the library, photos and other content sperate.
I want to know the best way to transfer the library, have the mac point to the hard drive and then sync all 3 devices but not load all the content on each devices.  The personal iphone should only have music and personal photos while the work iphone should remain the same as it is today with only work phots and no mucsic.  The ipad can contain everything.
Is there a way to have each device synch seperately but all link to the same itunes on the mac via an external hard drive.
    Thank you.

I can not even see the device after I decline the option to erase and sync with the other devise.  Sorry, I am a bit techno challenged.  Can you help with a blow by blow?
    much appreciation.

  • Multiple devices one itunes account

    Hi,
I have an itunes account for my iphone and ipad, now my kids have just got ipod touches for Christmas which i have added as new devices to my itunes account. When my daughter sends an imessage it appears on all the devices linked to my account, including granny's new iphone! How can I stop this, do I have to have separate email accounts for them, as they also want to facetime, help please!

I have ipod touch, When you register the ipod Touch give it a unique name. I have also connected all three at same time unless there is an issue I have missed I have had no problem. • Multiple device one ID chaos

My husband has just got a new iPhone 6 when he turned on iMessage it caused chaos as we share an Apple ID, he has now turned iMessage off but has my text message suddenly on his device how do we remove them?

All continuity features are turned on by default. If you don't want phone calls going to both phones turn FaceTime on so you can turn off iphone cellular calls. If you don't do this then calls will go to both phones.
But that has nothing to do with text message forwarding. To turn off Text Message Forwarding do as I've said twice already: on both phones, go to Settings/Messages, turn on iMessage if it is off, then tap Text Message Forwarding and turn off any switches you see. If I could think of another way to say it I would, but I'm out of ideas.
Well, let's try this on BOTH PHONES:
Unlock the phone with a fingerprint or passcode if it is not unlocked already
    Tap on the Settings app
    Scroll down and tap Messages
If iMessage is Off turn it on by tapping the switch to the right of the word iMessage
    Tap on Text Message Forwarding
Turn off any switches you see that are on
Tap <Messages at the top of the screen on the left
Tap <Settings at the top of the screen on the left
    Press the HOME button.
    DONE!
If you also don't want phone calls going to both phones, do the following:
Unlock the phone with a fingerprint or passcode if it is not unlocked already
    Tap on the Settings app
    Scroll down and tap FaceTime
If FaceTime is Off turn it on by tapping the switch to the right of the word FaceTime
If iPhone Cellular Calls is ON tap on the switch to the right of Phone Cellular Calls to turn it off
If you don't plan to use FaceTime tap on the switch to the right of FaceTime to turn it off
Tap <Settings at the top of the screen on the left
    Press the HOME button.
    DONE!
