Multiple display makes S100 extremely slow
Hi,
I've been working with a S100 with an external monitor (actually, two different monitors) for some time. It used to work fine, but lately whenever I work with an extended display, the external monitor takes a long time to refresh and the whole computer gets very, very slow.
I've read somewhere that this could be related to the hardware acceleration, but the Intel Graphics Media driver does not allow me to change any acceleration setting (if that is the problem, which I don't know).
Drivers are updated, and it used to work before... What might I be missing?

One thing i have read was External devices Causing the Issue
try unplugging any USB devices (Connect Only the AC and the External Monitor) and see if the issue will remain.
If it does, Check this option
open Control Panel / Hardware and Sound or Power option
Click Change plan settings on your selected power plan
then Click Advanced Power Settings
Look for this option and make sure both are on Maximum Performance then save changes.
Restart the system after saving.

Retina display MBP has extremely slow wifi... why?
Here's the scenario for my wifi issues with my mbp retina display. I have a regular 20Mb/s down Time Warner connection that I've been using for 2 years. My roommates' computers as well as my older 2010 MBP never had slow connectivity issues. The things I'm experiencing on my MBP now are:
- extremely slow speeds where even Google.com fails to load at times, streaming videos buffer every 15 seconds, I can't play diablo 3 anymore because it keeps giving me a time-out message (lol), my instant messenger times out so I have to reconnect.
I tried to diagnose my issue but going to any speedtest shows that my connection has a download speed of 20Mb/s which makes sense and probably has nothing to do with the slow/dc issue.
As of now, the only temporary remedy is to disconnect my wifi and reconnect (every 10-15 minutes), and I'm pretty sure no one would be content with this fix.
Is there any other diagnosis tool that I can use here to see what's going on? Anyone else have this issue?
(I've updated my software to the latest updates).

(... wow even as I submit this post, my connection timed out. Luckily this forum saves my last version of the post so whew)I'm also having the same issue. The applecare folks acted like they've never heard about it (seriously?) and had me do some stupid things like deleting all the other networks out of the list but the one I was using (she actually tried to tell me that the computer would be "confused" by 5 computers in my known network list).
I just took it to the genius bar, and they ran diagnostics on it, and it's working just fine. In their store, using their network, I was getting 12 mbps. At my mom's house (who doesn't pay for the fastest speeds), I was getting 9 mbps. Here at my house, where every other computer (including my 2007 macbook) is getting 20 mbps, I am getting LESS THAN ONE.
My shiny new computer is completely unusable. It has nothing to do with bluetooth. It has something to do with an incompatibility with the new router my husband bought two days ago (Linksys E1200). Before that, I think it was okay. I am going to have him switch back to the old router and see if that solves anything.
But SERIOUSLY, Apple? I'm about to send it back, too. I am VERY disappointed. Oh, and when the wireless radio is going nuts, my battery life suffers tremendously. I am getting nowhere near 7 hours. More like 2. And that's with bluetooth turned off, and the screen dimmed.
Oh, and an addition, I am running Mountain Lion. My computer just arrived last Monday. I've already installed all system updates. I even had them re-install Mountain Lion at the Apple Store. I think my little Betsy is going to have to be replaced. :-( -
JSF calendar makes IE7 extremely slow
When using the Calendar component in a datatable I notice that IE7 is extremely slow. Clicking on anything in IE (scrollbars, menus, even the X to close it) we experience a 3-5 second delay to get the focus. If we remove the columns with the calendar components, IE is more responsive. There is no delay at all when using Firefox. Has anyone else experienced this? I've read IE has problems with javascript, is this the problem here? Possible solutions? thanks in advance

I am not sure, but according to the taglib it look like part of Woodstock. Check [http://woodstock.dev.java.net]. It may be good to know that this project was almost dead for more than one year and that they stopped development since january this year and that all users are recommended to migrate to RichFaces or IceFaces. -
Motion 5 shape styles make render extremely slow?
Hi guys, I just wanted to ask about your experience with shape styles in Motion 5.
I'm currently working on a blue screen animation type video. I'm encountering extremely long render times for comparatively short videos and simple animations. When I isolated all the individual elements in my video to see which one is causing these render times, it came down to a bunch of lines which have shape styles applied to it.
The design is basically a relatively simple spider web, made up of 9 individual lines. I applied the "chalk easy" shape style to each of these lines and used a simple animation using "last point offset", just to have the lines come on 0-100%, nothing fancy.
When I remove the shape styles, rendering takes less than 30 seconds, with the shape styles applied it takes 10 minutes or longer.
What I wonder is, do you guys use shape styles? Have you experienced issues like this? Is there a viable alternative to shape styles?
I rarely use them, but it seemed like a good idea here because we're going for a bit of a drawn look, therefore I wanted the lines to look a little irregular without too much effort.
CheersShape styles fall into the category of replicator/emitter. You are increasing the complexity of the artwork significantly and it will slow down Motion both in playback and rendering (depends on the style and complexity of the style.)

Internet dropping multiple times an hour, extremely slow! Please HELP!
I am experiencing constant internet drops, and significantly reduced speed when it actually works. I've about had it with comcast, I'm an inch away from filing a complaint with the FCC and canceling my service. I've had this issue for months. Last week a technician came out, then left without resolving the issue. Said everything was fine tested all the cables, replaced some outside and went his way. I had someone come out again today, because not only are we still having constant timeouts, but when the internet is working it's fluctuates from mediocre speed to poor speed, 13.5 mbps to as low as 2 mbps. Keep in mind, I'm paying for 100 mbps. I've gone through 3 routers in the past week and a half, the tech that came out today yielded the same results - no joy on the constant disconnects or sluggish speeds. I've spent all day long speaking to rude, unhelpful customer service representatives on the phone. Now I get to wait another 2 days for yet another technician to come out this thursday. The issue I'm experiencing according to the logs is a T3 Timeout, everytime I am disconnected it reflects as such in the logs. There is no event recorded for the speed drops however. Looking around the forums, people are saying this is an issue with the wiring experiencing noise or something. Not one of the techs who came out said that. All comcast seems to suggest is replacing models, resetting or throwing technicians at the problem who can't even solve it. This customer service is abysmal. We are paying an outrageous amount of money to be having so many drops every hour, and to not receive the speed we are owed. My account is also not showing my new modem, it still displays the old modems mac address as current. I called comcast and they insist it's showing the new on their end, but my accounts page does not reflect that. Zoom (Accessibility feature) is extremely slow with multiple monitors [OSX 10.10]
When connecting an external display to my Laptop and using the "Ctrl + Scroll" functionality for accessibility zooming, the display/graphics are extremely slow.
An estimate of FPS would be sub 1FPS. The machine becomes unresponsive and is unusable for a minute or so, until I can get it zoomed back out, and it begins responding normally.
This is very disruptive, as its a feature I use often.
The same laptop on OSX 10.9 did not exhibit this issue.
Hardware: MacBook Pro 13" Retina Mid 2014, 16GB Ram

1. Enable CTRL+SCROLL zoom functionality in System Preferences > Accessibility
2. Connect external monitor (Display port cable)
3. Hold CTRL and Scroll to zoom
4. System becomes slow, graphics slow, showing < 1 FPS without any other applications runningJust to note, I have the same problem....
When you use Thunderbolt display with 15" MB Pro late 2013, it zooms unreasonably slow.
But when you close the laptop display and only have the Thunderbolt display on, it zooms a bit faster, but still too slow for such a new laptop.
I think it could be optimised a bit better, something somewhere can be improved here.

Numbers 09 (Rel. 2.1(436)) extremely slow under Lion
I just gave Numbers a try with a relatively low complex mortgage calculation - 13 columns, 200 rows - simple formulas (if ... then ... else, difference in dates, simple multiplications).
Numbers is extremely slow - whenever something is changed in the tables, Activity Monitor shows 100% CPU usage and the SBOD appears - it's nearly not possible to work. Restart of my MacBook Pro or Numbers allone has not made anything better. Has anybody made the same observations, i submitted feedback to Apple, but i have the feeling, that nobody is reading it (3 years ago i submitted the wish for goal seek for Numbers or some sort of Automator support)
The dilemma is:
Many of my coworkers now have iPad and iPhone and could use Numbers (i know there are some Excel Simulations for iPad and iPhone around, but these are not so nice to use) - therefore i want to provide the previos Excel Sheets as Numbers documents - but with this performance it's impossible to use Numbers."200 rows of formulas in a Numbers document might be considered to be large ..." - that's complete nonsense - in the beginning of my "Apple History" i had a Mac IIsi, on this machine there was a spreadsheet software running, it's name was Ragtime - i did exact the same calculations which i now want to redo with Numbers - the IIsi with 8 MB of RAM was crunching trough these calculations a lot faster than my Macbook Pro - and there were not only 200 rows to calculate - (to be exact it were 300 + (4 x 25) rows - calculation 300 months + 4 quarters per year).
Apple builds very nice hardware (most of the time), Apple designs very nice software (also most of the time) - but sometimes Apple Software is truly unusable if one decides just to get one step ahead the absolute-zero-level-hobby-user.
Of course i know the phrase "horses for courses" and everybody will scratch his head "why does this guy absolutely want to use Numbers for this task and not the old Excel?" - i can tell you that: Because Excel has very bad layout options - in Numbers i can produce very nice layouts, free movable tables, integrated pages which sum up more sub-tables ... - yes, thats also possible with Word an Excel but not in this intuitive way Apple has come up.
BUT - since Numbers is (and keeps) so dramatically slow it's barely unusable - it makes me sad, that i will never see Numbers being used in a business environment.

I just received a brand new iPod touch as a gift. But when I try to play music on it the speaker is extremely slow. When I plug in headphones I hear nothing. Tried multiple headphones. Tried a restore. It never dropped or anything

You said you restored the iPod. Was the restore successful, that is, it went though all the steps without errors?
Try a restore to factory settings/new iPod if yuhave not doe so so far.
Are you using the headphones that came with the iPod? Are you inserting the plug fully
Have you tried another set of headphones in the iPod?

My external HD of 1TB is not being recognized by the iMac and when after a long waiting period it does, the whole computer becomes extremely slow. Do I need any particular add-on to make it workable?
Before I updated to OS X Mavericks I was using another external disk that was getting disconnected ocasionally so I bought a new ADATA HD710 portable 1TB Drive and moved the files to it. This new drive which is supposed to be OS X Mavericks compatible takes minutes to show the files especially when opening second and third level folders which has made mu iMac unusable
What should I do?Your Mac should be able to recognize many different types of drives (including Windows-formatted drives) immediately for Reading, provided they are in good working condition and not damaged. There should be no need to transfer to a different type of drive.
If there is no recognition of this drive, see if it can be seen in Disk Utility.
If your aim is to transfer the data on it DO NOT use ERASE or PARTITION as these will completely erase all the information on the Drive.
If the drive is present while the Mac sleeps, it is likely to drop out and not be seen any longer, especially if it is a USB-powered drive. -
File display extremely slow with call of OLE_FLUSH_CALL standard function

We are running SAP R/3 Enterprise 640 with Doculink extension.
When trying to display PDF files stored in an SAP Archive Server, it takes quiet a while to retreive the document, while displaying it through a web browser is very fast.
I have made a some performances tests in ST05, and the results clearly shows that the ABAP execution time takes most of the process time. When digging deeper into which function takes so many time, I can see that the standard program SAPLOLEA takes a long while on a wait for RFC call. And then when I display the source code responsible for this call, I see that the OLE_FLUSH_CALL call takes the most time.
I have tried to look around in SAP Notes but didn't find any relevant information regarding this problem. I wondered if I would be able to find more interesting opinions on SDN.

ThibaultQuery returns anywhere from 6000 to 32000 rows. For each of those rows a parameter is passed in to 4 different functions to get ytd totals. When I call the functions in the in-line view but do not select from them in the main SQL, the report (oh, this is Application Express 4.0 interactive reports, just an FYI) runs fast. The report comes back in a few seconds. But when I select from the in-line view to display those ytd totals, the report runs extremely slow. I know there are the articles about context switching and how mixing SQL with PL/SQL performs poorly. So I tried a pipeline table function where the function for the ytd totals populate the columns of the pipeline table and I select from the pipeline table in the SQL query in the interactive report. That seemed to perform a little worse from what I can tell.

ITunes is extremely slow and I cannot make a secure connection
When I connect to iTunes my computer is extremely slow, and when I try to connect to the iTunes store I get the error message cannot make a secure connection. I have internet access and I have ran the iTunes diagnostics test and all the tests passed except making a secure connection. I have disabled all of my security systems including my firewall and Norton. I am not running any proxy settings. This has been an ongoing problem for over a month and I am at a loss.

Configure Internet Options (for Windows computers only):
Run iTunes Diagnostics. If the "Secure link to iTunes Store" section does not pass, do the following.
Open Internet Explorer.
From the Tools menu, choose Internet Options.
Click Connections.
Under "Dial-up and Virtual Private Networking," choose "Never dial a connection." It may not be possible to choose this if you’ve never used dial-up Internet; if this is the case, skip to the next step.
Click LAN Settings.
In the window that opens, enable the option to "Automatically detect settings" if it is not enabled.
iTunes uses Internet Options proxy settings. Apple recommends removing proxy settings that interfere with access to the iTunes Store if needed.
Click OK.
Click the Advanced tab.
Scroll down to the Security section and look for the option to "Check for server certificate revocation." If it is enabled, disable it.
Look for Use SSL 3.0 and Use TLS 1.0. Make sure at least one of those two checkboxes is selected and click OK (You can select both checkboxes).
Apply any changes, and restart your computer if you modified the option to "Check for server certificate revocation" (step #11). -
I installed the latest update of iTunes and now my computer is extremely slow and it freezes. When I click on the itunes icon, nothing happens, if it opens is a long time afterwards. Most of the time it does not even open, but the computer is very slow. It is a PC desktop running windos xp.

Don't be put off by the complexity of these instructions. The process is much less complicated than the description. You do harder tasks with the computer all the time.
2. If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data before doing anything else. The backup is necessary on general principle, not because of anything in the test procedure. Backup is always a must, and when you're having any kind of trouble with the computer, you may be at higher than usual risk of losing data, whether you follow these instructions or not.
There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.
3. Below are instructions to run a UNIX shell script, a type of program. As I wrote above, it changes nothing. It doesn't send or receive any data on the network. All it does is to generate a human-readable report on the state of the computer. That report goes nowhere unless you choose to share it. If you prefer, you can act on it yourself without disclosing the contents to me or anyone else.
You should be wondering whether you can believe me, and whether it's safe to run a program at the behest of a stranger. In general, no, it's not safe and I don't encourage it.
In this case, however, there are a couple of ways for you to decide whether the program is safe without having to trust me. First, you can read it. Unlike an application that you download and click to run, it's transparent, so anyone with the necessary skill can verify what it does.
You may not be able to understand the script yourself. But variations of the script have been posted on this website thousands of times over a period of years. The site is hosted by Apple, which does not allow it to be used to distribute harmful software. Any one of the millions of registered users could have read the script and raised the alarm if it was harmful. Then I would not be here now and you would not be reading this message.
Nevertheless, if you can't satisfy yourself that these instructions are safe, don't follow them. Ask for other options.
4. Here's a summary of what you need to do, if you choose to proceed:
☞ Copy a line of text in this window to the Clipboard.
☞ Paste into the window of another application.
☞ Wait for the test to run. It usually takes a few minutes.
☞ Paste the results, which will have been copied automatically, back into a reply on this page.

5. You may have started the computer in "safe" mode. Preferably, these steps should be taken in “normal” mode, under the conditions in which the problem is reproduced. If the system is now in safe mode and works well enough in normal mode to run the test, restart as usual. If you can only test in safe mode, do that.
6. If you have more than one user, and the one affected by the problem is not an administrator, then please run the test twice: once while logged in as the affected user, and once as an administrator. The results may be different. The user that is created automatically on a new computer when you start it for the first time is an administrator. If you can't log in as an administrator, test as the affected user. Most personal Macs have only one user, and in that case this section doesn’t apply. Don't log in as root.
7. The script is a single long line, all of which must be selected. You can accomplish this easily by triple-clicking anywhere in the line. The whole line will highlight, though you may not see all of it in the browser window, and you can then copy it. If you try to select the line by dragging across the part you can see, you won't get all of it.

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
8. Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Click anywhere in the Terminal window and paste by pressing command-V. The text you pasted should vanish immediately. If it doesn't, press the return key.
9. If you see an error message in the Terminal window such as "Syntax error" or "Event not found," enter
exec bash
and press return. Then paste the script again.
10. If you're logged in as an administrator, you'll be prompted for your login password. Nothing will be displayed when you type it. You will not see the usual dots in place of typed characters. Make sure caps lock is off. Type carefully and then press return. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you make three failed attempts to enter the password, the test will run anyway, but it will produce less information. In most cases, the difference is not important. If you don't know the password, or if you prefer not to enter it, press the key combination control-C or just press return three times at the password prompt. Again, the script will still run.
If you're not logged in as an administrator, you won't be prompted for a password. The test will still run. It just won't do anything that requires administrator privileges.
11. The test may take a few minutes to run, depending on how many files you have and the speed of the computer. A computer that's abnormally slow may take longer to run the test. While it's running, there will be nothing in the Terminal window and no indication of progress. Wait for the line
[Process completed]
to appear. If you don't see it within half an hour or so, the test probably won't complete in a reasonable time. In that case, close the Terminal window and report what happened. No harm will be done.
12. When the test is complete, quit Terminal. The results will have been copied to the Clipboard automatically. They are not shown in the Terminal window. Please don't copy anything from there. All you have to do is start a reply to this comment and then paste by pressing command-V again.
At the top of the results, there will be a line that begins with the words "Start time." If you don't see that, but instead see a mass of gibberish, you didn't wait for the "Process completed" message to appear in the Terminal window. Please wait for it and try again.
If any private information, such as your name or email address, appears in the results, anonymize it before posting. Usually that won't be necessary.
13. When you post the results, you might see an error message on the web page: "You have included content in your post that is not permitted," or "You are not authorized to post." That's a bug in the forum software. Please post the test results on Pastebin, then post a link here to the page you created.
14. This is a public forum, and others may give you advice based on the results of the test. They speak only for themselves, and I don't necessarily agree with them.

Since in stalling Mavericks on my Early-2011 MacBook Pro I have had unbelievable trouble with it being extremely slow — sometime running fix disk permissions helps, but not for long.
I have created a new partition on both the SSD and HD, erased the partitions and reinstalled Mavericks on both. After that I reinstalled a limited number of the applications that I use regularly.
The same problem of a very sluggish system — to the point of being unusable — is the case for 10.9.3 installed on the partition on the SSD and the partition installed on the HD — nothing seems to help on either drive.
I have run the full suite of tests in TechTool Pro 7 several times and it has reported no problems.

Can you disconnect the FireWire disk to see if that has any effect?
It sounds like you have tried a clean install on each disk, is that correct? That would make me think it is hardware related. Are you near an Apple store?
I'd do some searching to see if anyone has had issues with multiple recovery partitions, 5 seems excessive :)
I think they are required for FaceTime & Findmymac, but it's unclear on how they interact (not mounted probably means they don't, but look anyway). -
My macbook pro (late 2011) is extreme slow, freezing, crashing and lagging too often.
I am new to the forum, I hope this is the good topic to post my problem.
I have a late 2011 Macbook Pro, and it is getting slower and slower. The performance was bad with Mavericks as well, but now, with Yosemite installed, it is much more worse. I have never reinstalled my system (only upgraded the osx), so it is an almost 3 years old setup. In that time I have installed a lot of applications, and also deleted a lot. About a year ago I upgraded the RAM, but didn't help too much. Now with Yosemite my startup time is more than 5 minutes, and sometimes the startup freezes (and I have to push the power button long to retry). Safari with 5-10 tabs is extreme slow, and lagging when I switch tabs or open new ones. To launch a new app, for example skype, i have to wait 1-2 minutes. Everything is slow. Sometimes my finder crashes, and works only if I restart the macbook. Another example: if I open the downloads folder in Finder, I have the spinning loading icon for about 20-30 seconds, and just after this time can I see the content of the folder.
My console is full of errors, I get new records in every single seconds. I repaired the disk permissions, deleted safari cache, history, etc. but nothing helped.

Dec 11, 2014, 12:04:08 PM Self test - passed1. This procedure is a diagnostic test. It changes nothing, for better or worse, and therefore will not, in itself, solve the problem. But with the aid of the test results, the solution may take a few minutes, instead of hours or days.
Don't be put off by the complexity of these instructions. The process is much less complicated than the description. You do harder tasks with the computer all the time.
2. If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data before doing anything else. The backup is necessary on general principle, not because of anything in the test procedure. Backup is always a must, and when you're having any kind of trouble with the computer, you may be at higher than usual risk of losing data, whether you follow these instructions or not.
There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.
3. Below are instructions to run a UNIX shell script, a type of program. As I wrote above, it changes nothing. It doesn't send or receive any data on the network. All it does is to generate a human-readable report on the state of the computer. That report goes nowhere unless you choose to share it. If you prefer, you can act on it yourself without disclosing the contents to me or anyone else.
You should be wondering whether you can believe me, and whether it's safe to run a program at the behest of a stranger. In general, no, it's not safe and I don't encourage it.
In this case, however, there are a couple of ways for you to decide whether the program is safe without having to trust me. First, you can read it. Unlike an application that you download and click to run, it's transparent, so anyone with the necessary skill can verify what it does.
You may not be able to understand the script yourself. But variations of the script have been posted on this website thousands of times over a period of years. The site is hosted by Apple, which does not allow it to be used to distribute harmful software. Any one of the millions of registered users could have read the script and raised the alarm if it was harmful. Then I would not be here now and you would not be reading this message.
Nevertheless, if you can't satisfy yourself that these instructions are safe, don't follow them. Ask for other options.
4. Here's a summary of what you need to do, if you choose to proceed:

5. You may have started the computer in "safe" mode. Preferably, these steps should be taken in “normal” mode, under the conditions in which the problem is reproduced. If the system is now in safe mode and works well enough in normal mode to run the test, restart as usual. If you can only test in safe mode, do that.
6. If you have more than one user, and the one affected by the problem is not an administrator, then please run the test twice: once while logged in as the affected user, and once as an administrator. The results may be different. The user that is created automatically on a new computer when you start it for the first time is an administrator. If you can't log in as an administrator, test as the affected user. Most personal Macs have only one user, and in that case this section doesn’t apply. Don't log in as root.

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
8. Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Click anywhere in the Terminal window and paste by pressing command-V. The text you pasted should vanish immediately. If it doesn't, press the return key.
9. If you see an error message in the Terminal window such as "Syntax error" or "Event not found," enter
exec bash
and press return. Then paste the script again.
10. If you're logged in as an administrator, you'll be prompted for your login password. Nothing will be displayed when you type it. You will not see the usual dots in place of typed characters. Make sure caps lock is off. Type carefully and then press return. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you make three failed attempts to enter the password, the test will run anyway, but it will produce less information. In most cases, the difference is not important. If you don't know the password, or if you prefer not to enter it, press the key combination control-C or just press return three times at the password prompt. Again, the script will still run.
If you're not logged in as an administrator, you won't be prompted for a password. The test will still run. It just won't do anything that requires administrator privileges.
11. The test may take a few minutes to run, depending on how many files you have and the speed of the computer. A computer that's abnormally slow may take longer to run the test. While it's running, there will be nothing in the Terminal window and no indication of progress. Wait for the line
[Process completed]
to appear. If you don't see it within half an hour or so, the test probably won't complete in a reasonable time. In that case, close the Terminal window and report what happened. No harm will be done.
12. When the test is complete, quit Terminal. The results will have been copied to the Clipboard automatically. They are not shown in the Terminal window. Please don't copy anything from there. All you have to do is start a reply to this comment and then paste by pressing command-V again.
At the top of the results, there will be a line that begins with the words "Start time." If you don't see that, but instead see a mass of gibberish, you didn't wait for the "Process completed" message to appear in the Terminal window. Please wait for it and try again.
If any private information, such as your name or email address, appears in the results, anonymize it before posting. Usually that won't be necessary.
13. When you post the results, you might see an error message on the web page: "You have included content in your post that is not permitted," or "You are not authorized to post." That's a bug in the forum software. Please post the test results on Pastebin, then post a link here to the page you created.
14. This is a public forum, and others may give you advice based on the results of the test. They speak only for themselves, and I don't necessarily agree with them.
