Multiple DML per Transaction

My capture process is working fine if I change a single record and then commit. I can get the anydata and convert it to an lcr and do what I need. However, if I update multiple records, I am only getting a single anydata. That any data only conatins one of the LCRs. What am I missing?
Thanks,
LewisC

I have similar problem.. Can you let me knw how did u fix this issue?
For more information see my post: Only first LCR is captured when multipl updates in single transaction
Thanks

  • Retention guarantee causing multiple DML operations to fail ?

    WARNING: Enabling retention guarantee can cause multiple DML operations to fail. Use with caution.

    From the Ora Docs (10.2) Section - Introduction to Automatic Undo Management (Undo Retention) states the above.
    This would mean that other DML operations if requiring space in undo, would therefore fail with a ORA-30036 error. Is this correct understanding ?
    If so then one way to avoid this ORA error is to have autoextend defined. ??

    This would mean that other DML operations if requiring space in undo, would therefore fail with a ORA-30036 error. Is this correct understanding ? Not all DML operations requiring undo space would fail; only those transactions for which there is no space left in undo tablespace would fail. And yes this is one of the possible error messages that one can get.
    If so then one way to avoid this ORA error is to have autoextend defined. ??Yes but that is just pushing the brick wall two feet away. Besides, with auto extension turned on and inappropriate undo_retention parameter settings, you will have issues with disk space (if any).

  • Actual and Plan Versions annual view - Multiple versions per company code

    Good Day,
    Iu2019m creating an FI-CO query with an annual view of both Actuals and Plan Values, which uses period and version as input values. The dilemma is around the plan versions which are hardcoded per company codes (eg. 1 Company Code = versions 501 u2013 512)
    Can anyone suggest a possible solutions as normally there is only one version used for planning but in this instance there are multiple versions per Company Code.
    Currently the report is hardcoded for one Company Code and going forward it should cater for more than one(Company Company* 12 Version)
    Kind Regards

    Remove restriction on comp code. There could be 2 models.
    1. Include comp code, value type and version in the rows. This way you get multiple records for a comp code. One record for actual data and one record each for plan versions. To have this model at the query, the data model in the cube also should be in this way (what we call as the account model), multiple records differentiated into actual/plan by valuetype and different versions by version.
    2. Include comp code in rows. Create selections, one for actuals (restrict with key fig and value type 10, actuals), one for each plan versions (restrict key fig with value type 20, version 501. Create one selection for each version this way). This way we have one record per comp code with diff key fig for actual and plan versions. We call this as key fig model. To have this model at the query, the data model in the cube could be account model or key fig model. If it is key fig model then no need of selections. The key fig could be taken directly from the cube.

  • "Layout" option in iPhoto 09 - multiple photos per page

    I am trying to printing several different photos on a single page. While I can achieve this by selecting a smaller image size and letting iPhoto arrange them automatically I would like to adjust the layout. When I selected "Layout" (under "customize") earlier I was offered layouts for One, Two, Three etc. images per page but now I can't find how to get iPhoto to offer more than One image per page. Am I doing something wrong? With several pictured selected, how do I customize the layout?
    Thanks
    Duncan

    Thanks - That is what I figured but the strange thing is that when I clicked on "Layout" 20 minutes before I posted this question it offered me page layout options for "One", "Two" "Three" and "Four" images per page with different configurations for each......but now I can't get those options - frustrating! And thinking about it, why would it say "One" under layout if there were no other options available?
    Has anyone else experienced this? Do other iPhoto 09 users get multiple images per page options under "Layout"?
    Thanks

  • How to save a pdf with multiple slides per page

    I have multiple pdf files that I would like to combine but for some of those files, there were originally from powerpoint. For those files, I would like to change the pdf so that there are multiple slides per page. I don't have a copy of the original powerpoints. I am trying to find an easy way to do this because I have at least a hundred pdfs to do. Thank you!

    You could print a PDF to the Adobe PDF printer, and select multiple Pages per Sheet on the Layout tab of the printer Properties dialog. Printing a PDF to PDF is generally frowned upon, but once it a while it comes in handy. It could have some unwelcome side effects though like wiping out your carefully crafted accessibility tags, bookmarks, and some document properties.

  • Chatty replication protocol (2.6 messages per transaction): bad settings?

    Hi,
    I'm trying to determine why for a two-site replication setup (Linux, BDB 4.6.21 with the latest patch) it seems like a single transaction can take up to 100 ms to be replicated under heavy load when the non-replicated transaction takes 5 ms.
    The transaction in question is a fully-synchronized update (ie: a commit at site R1 should not return until R2 has also committed and flushed the transaction to disk), and there are only two sites in the replication group, the master and the replica.
    Here are the statistics I gathered from my application, at the replica after it was promoted to the master (the master having been killed):
    Replication: txnsApplied=3584, repMsgsProcessed=9390, repMsgsSent=17, repMsgsSendFailures=4, nextLSN=1/1162804, nextPages=0, pagesRecords=6, pagesRequested=0, status=3, waitingLSN=0/0, waitingPages=0
    Replication Manager: connectionAttemptsFailed=0, connectionsDropped=1, repMessagesDropped=0, repMessagesQueued=0, permFailed=4
    It seems like the replication protocol is quite chatty (2.6 messages per transaction), which may explain some of the latency.
    I use 2048-byte pages, and the typical transaction size is no more than 1024 bytes; I experimented with relaxing the transactional guarantees (setTxnNoSync et al) but had a similar experience.
    Does anyone have any suggestions for this environment configuration to increase the throughput of this kind of replication setup? Your help would be kindly appreciated.

    Replication: txnsApplied=3584, repMsgsProcessed=9390,
    repMsgsSent=17, repMsgsSendFailures=4,
    nextLSN=1/1162804, nextPages=0, pagesRecords=6,
    pagesRequested=0, status=3, waitingLSN=0/0,
    waitingPages=0
    Replication Manager: connectionAttemptsFailed=0,
    connectionsDropped=1, repMessagesDropped=0,
    repMessagesQueued=0, permFailed=4
    It seems like the replication protocol is quite
    chatty (2.6 messages per transaction), which may
    explain some of the latency.The replication protocol is that each log record written to the
    log is also transmitted to the client. Therefore, if your transaction
    has a lot of operations, or if even a single update results in several
    log records written (splitting a page, for example), each of those
    log records will be transmitted to the client.
    Does anyone have any suggestions for this environment
    configuration to increase the throughput of this kind
    of replication setup? Your help would be kindly
    appreciated.You can try the bulk message configuration option. Look at
    the dbenv->rep_set_config method with the DB_REP_CONF_BULK
    flag. That option collects the log records locally in memory and
    then sends them all either on a txn_commit operation or if the
    buffer fills up. That should result in fewer messages.
    However, it is also interesting that there were 4 message send failures
    as well as 4 permFailed counts in your statistics. It is likely whatever
    caused those resulted in some messages to rerequest the missing
    records.

  • How to print multiple sheets per page?

    Please advise how, if it is possible, to print multiple sheets per page with Acrobat 7.0 Pro.<br /><br />I have a PDF that's about 24" x 60". I'd like to make a "poor man's poster" by printing on several pages and taping them together -- sort of like Microsoft's "Fit to <x pages> tall by <y pages> wide" feature. Can this be done with Acrobat 7.0 Pro?<br /><br />Thanks.<br /><br />-Kurt

    That is typically a function of the print driver for Acrobat. One way to do it is to print to a new PDF and select the printer properties and select multi-up. Bill

    '''"In that case this is more likely a bug in Covenant Eyes than it is a bug in Firefox. If we have no hope of success through engaging with Covenant Eyes and can't blocklist the offending DLL from loading, can we at least get a support article posted instructing users how to work around this issue (ie. removing Covenant Eyes or switching to a different browser)?'''

  • RFIDYYWT across company codes produces 1099 with multiple records per TIN

    We have multiple company codes that post 1099-MISC relevant payments to a common set of vendors.  All payments are processed through our main (paying) company code.
    All our company codes are one taxable entity to the federal government, with one TIN.  We are required to submit one file to the IRS.
    Unfortunately, when we execute RFIDYYWT across company codes we get multiple records per vendor, one for each company code, despite that the vendor has only one TIN.
    How may we customize the system so that a single execution of RFIDYYWT provides an IRS compliant file that aggregates common vendor records?
    Thank you in advance for your assistance.

  • Multiple DML Processes On Same Table

    Would it be possible to do multiple DML operations on a single table, in Oracle 11.2.0.3.0 version of database sitting on Linux.
    I want to implement 2 or more parallel processes writing data into the same table at same time and the data written by each process in mutually exclusive.
    Would there be any chances of dead lock situation provided each process is independent and does not touch(read/write) data by another process?
    Thank you.

    Dear Ariean,
    Re-enforcing what Marcus, Stew, and RP have already said in their reply...
    You said...
    .... 2 or more parallel processes writing data into the same table at same time and the data written by each process in mutually exclusive ....
    Oracle ALWAYS
    Manages concurrency using ROW-Level Locks. Never automatically escalates locks to table or page level (unlike DB2 or other databases).
    Readers never block writers and writers never block readers.
    In your case, if the "writers" are mutually exclusive you'll NOT run into deadlock. In fact, deadlock is very rarely a problem in Oracle is normally due to inefficient design (ordering) of application DMLs.
    Following Oracle documentation explains data concurrency very well.. Data Concurrency and Consistency
    Hope this helps.

  • Nokia 2323 Contacts: Multiple entries per contact ...

    Hello Everyone,
    Greetings
    I am planning to buy Nokia 2323 Classic phone. gsmarena informs that it can save 1000 contacts. What I need to know is that does this phone accept multiple entries per contact. For example: Work Phone, Home Phone, Fax, Mobile Phone etc. If yes, then how many entries can each contact take? Also, if we add multiple entries then would it reduce the number of contacts we can save?
    I have googled but it doesn't help. Also tried looking at the online user guide of Nokia 2323. It talks about going into Details menu and then entering Add detail but doesn't mention what kind of "details" it takes. I would be really glad if some one who has seen/used the phone could help.
    Thank you.

    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Now that I'm not so sure about. The phone will either have a certain amount of memory put aside for contacts and usually you can't tell how much but you can check how much of it you have used as a percentage or it will let the contacts share the same memory as your messages and everything else and when you check your memory it will just tell you how much the contacts are using. I haven't used that phone but I think the 1st case applies to it

  • Multiple Ratings Per Song

    Hi,
    I was wondering if it was possible to have multiple ratings per song on iTunes. My family owns 3 iPods and we all want to rate our music seperately and we all want to access iTunes on only one computer account.
    So is there a way to rate the same song differently per iPod and have the info for both be saved?

    No, that is not possible. Maybe having separate users on Windows would be the best option for you.
    See method 1 here: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=300432
