Multiple drop down lists that allow users to select 3 unique choices from a list of options

I'm creating a form from scratch in Adobe Designer. Well, the problem I'm having is I'm trying to create dropdowns in my form and I need three dropdowns with the same information but I would like to only select three of the items from each dropdown but I'm not sure what I need to do. I hope you'll understand.
Ex: Directions: Please select your 1st, 2nd and 3rd peference from the listing but do not select the same perference, it has to be different.
1st Preference: RCC, UPPP, AAA and TO
2nd Preference: RCC, UPPP, AAA and TO
3rd Preference: RCC, UPPP, AAA and TO
The object is for them to select only three but not the same for each prefence but how can I create it in the form.

1. The scrolling, as far as I've been able to determine, is by using the slide bar to the right of most diplays. There are no up or down arrows that allow slow movement
2. The top and botton toolbars are not visible. The top one appears when you point the arrow to the top of the screen but the same doesn't work well if at all pointing the cursor to the bottom.
3. When downloading, something jumps to the upper right of the screen. I could point and click it and get a diplay if my downloads. I was attempting to fix some of the above. Now the little thing jumps off the screen and I can't get to it.
4I was trying to installMacBook Pro EFI Firmware Update 2.3. I got message it couldn't be installed on my system.
5. The red yellow and blue bullets that allow shutting down, minimizing and maximizing are missing on most open windows.
Can you do something about these problems
It's problematical that one can't communicate directly with Apple to resolve these problems

Allow user to select data, see the tables list but not view the table/view/stored procs definition

TIA !So you want users to be able to see the name of the table, but not the definition? I am afraid that this is not possible. You can give users access to a table and hide the definition, but the name is considered part of the definition.
Olaf mentioned VIEW DEFINITION. What he did not say is that when you have SELECT permission (or EXECUTE permission on a stored procedure), the permission VIEW DEFINITION is implied by the stronger permission. For this reason you need to explicitly DENY this
permission as shown in the script below.
In the script I create a user without a login and then impersonate a user. This is an excellent way to test permissions.

Multiple drop down menu items to populate the a separate text box...more help please
Thanks to Gilad D67 for showing me how to have multiple drop down menu items appear in a separate text box. This stuff blows my mind. Is there any script I can use to make a new drop down menu item appear in the same text box, but on a new line below a previous entry. For example. I select 'cat' from my drop down menu and it appears in my text box. Now I choose 'dog' from my menu and it appears in my text box like so 'cat dog.' Is there any way I can make 'dog' go straight to a new line automatically without having to manually go into the text box and change it?

Now, I don't have a clue if this is also possible, but imagine, I don't like my drop down menu selection of 'dog' and I go back into the menu and I change to 'rat' but in the text box, 'dog' still appears and 'rat' is added. Do I have to manually delete 'dog' from the text box or is there script that can do this for me.
Any assistance would be incredible. It amazes me how people know this stuff.

To reset the field you can use a separate button with a Clear Form command, and then you just select this one field from the list. -
I have created a PDF form with multiple drop downs, all with the same drop down values. When I select a value from 1 of the drop down fields, it replicates in all of the others - which I do not want. Can I fix this?
I'm fairly new to this, but I think it has to do with the way you have the drop downs named. Did you copy one then keep pasting it in each field? If so, that is the problem. You should rename each one with a different number: Dropdown1, Dropdown2, etc. I think that might solve the issue.

How to get values from a multiple drop-down box.
On my first page, I have a multiple drop-down box as the following code.

Have you considered using CSS styled text/list menus instead of image rollovers. It isn't hard really and it's actually a much better choice for web accessibility and for search engines to find and follow your links. Here are some links to several CSS menu systems you can try:

I have a jsp in which i'm using 5 drop downs.
I have to populate the last 2 drop downs according to the value selected in the first 3 drop downs. I can do this by selecting the first three drop downs and submitting the form, then load the other two drop downs. But I do not want to do it that way.
Please reply if you guys think of any other way.

According to what you said("if the value in first drop box is Fruit then in other drop box values are apple mango whatever .. like form validation"), it's not the problem selecting one drop box's value according to an other one.
here's my original problem description

These three drop downs will all be populated from the database. When the user selects one from each drop downs, according to that combination you need to populate the "Model".
Say i selected Cars in 1st drop down, SUV's in the second and Volvo in the third , it should populate the model according to the selected three values. Hope you get a clear picture now.
It's actually combination of three drop down boxes that i need to look for. And if at all the user keeps changing the selection of even one drop down out of the first 3 drop downs, the value of the last 2 drop downs will be changed.. Any idea???

I have loaded and reloaded Reader 9. I cannot open a pfd document. I can save it to desk top then open it via a drop down box that has a "open with Adobe Reader 9". How can I avoid having to do this?

Thank you for your response. My operating system is XP. When I try to open a pfd document I just get a series of letters and symbols in a dialog box. The top of the box says "select the encoding that makes your document readable". I can choose Windows, MS-Dos, or other (there is a long list to choose from). None seem to make a difference. If I save the document to my desk top I can right click on it and choose an option "Open with AdobeReader 9" and it opens fine.

What operating system does your computer use? What happens when you attempt to open a PDF document rather than saving it first? Please include any/all error messages. Also, have you tried opening documents from other locations or just one in particular?

Normally a person creates a draft document and when they are ready they publish it and the Approver approves it. However, what if a power user needs to be able to see all draft documents. Not just their own but other peoples'. What is the minimum permission

Per my knowledge, there is no minimum permission level that allow users to view their own and other people’s draft documents.
This is based on the Draft Item Security setting you choose for your list in Versioning Settings:

the seeded templates only allow for one drop-down. I want to create multiple drop-downs say one for size, one for color. Some items have size selection, some have color selection, yet others have both selections. Each permutation will initially have a sku entry, eventually some permutations will need to generte an errors if you can't get say a shirt in blue if you want it small (for instance).
Part of this is probably inventory setups, I guess, but iStore may have something for this with categorization etc..you will need to create a custom template (modify the seeded template) so you can have multiple drop downs...remember to register your custom template using the Template Manager so changes dont get overwritten during upgrades...

Help with actionscripting multiple drop-down menus
So I have 3 different drop down menus that I want to use, and I want them to all work together so that if I have drop down menu number one open, the 2nd menu will drop down while the 1st one is still down.

And in what program? You need to be more specific. Creating conditional forms is of course possible, but the procedures will depend on the actual program and target medium. HTML forms work differently from PDF...

Widget to get drop down values based on user input query string

I have a requirement, where in user types in some text and clicks on a search button. On button click, a drop down or some box appears which has result based on the input string (from json ). User can select one of the values in the drop down or box. User should be able to select values from drop down or box only.
How can I achieve this. Is there any custom widget in CQ for this, or I have to write my own widget.
Can i use SuggestField widget for this? if yes, please give some example for this widget.
I want something similar to "authselection" widget. In case of authselection widget user names come from CQ, in this case user name will come from some other system using a CQ custom json.
If user types "gopa" and click on search , i should be able to call a json with query parameter "gopa" & the result from the query will be in the drop down.
