Multiple emails in outlook 2010 with pdf attachments will not print

Here is our issue
1. Select multiple emails in outlook 2010 with pdf attachments (versie 10.0.1)
2. Go to file -> Print
3. Select Print Options.  Check the box for Print Attached Files
4. click Print The emails will print but only the first attachment will print.
After that we recieve the following error
There was an error opening this document. The selected file cannot be found.
We have tried turning off enhanced security mode but still get the same result

You can also extract these pdf attachments via email attachment extractor from here and then send the pdf file for printing. I think this will be easier for you to print them all.

  • Workaround to archive email in Outlook 2010 as PDF portfolio?

    Hello All,
    We use Acrobat Pro 9.4.6.
Our office will not update to Acrobat X until CS6 becomes available for purchase.
We run Office 2010 Pro 32-bit on Windows 7 64-bit.
We need to archive email in a way that can be sorted in a PDF Portfolio by date or attachments to email.
I wrote VBA code to save email from an entire folder or several selected folders as .HTML files with the same folder structure on disk as was in Outlook. This works for sorting by date of email, but it does not allow for the attachments to stay attached to the email.
I thought about downgrading Acrobat to 9.0, but I am unsure if this is possible.
Has anyone found a way to archive email in Outlook 2010 as PDF portfolio which would allow sorting by which email have attachments?
    Thanks,
    edsager
P.S. A few extra steps would definitely add more benefit than cost.

To resolve error 0x8004010F , identify the current location of your default Outlook data file, and then create a new Outlook profile.
Step 1- Locate the default Outlook data file
Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
    In Control Panel, click Mail.
In the Mail Setup - Outlook dialog box, click Show Profiles.
Select your current Outlook profile, and then click Properties.
In the Mail Setup - Outlook dialog box, click Data Files.
Select the Data Files tab in the Account Settings dialog box, and then note the name and location of the default data file for your profile (a check mark will denote the default data file).
    Click Close.
Step 2 - Create a new Outlook profile
Step 3 - Configure your new Outlook profile as the default profile

  • Pdf documents will not print properly

my imac running 10.5.8 will not print some pdf documents properly.  In particular sheet music will only print as horizontal and vertical lines - the symbols and notes do not print.  The 'print preview' shows all the symbols and notation correctly.
This occurs in both Adobe Acrobat (v10.1.3) and Preview (v 4.2 - 469.5).
Printer in use is a HP 2600n connected via USB cable.

Seems it's not sending the Font to the Printer, or the Font has a conflict & the Printer thinks it's another Font.
Open Font Book & Validate all Fonts & check for duplicates.

I can't change the name in devices and printers.  I can highlight it but that's all. Is there a trick I don't know of that allows you to change or alter the name?
    Open Devices and Printers.
Right-click on the icon for the printer and select "Printer properties".
Click the "Change Properties" button on the lower left of the dialog.
Enter the Administrator's password when prompted.
On the "General" tab in the next dialog, you can change the name.
From that last dialog, you might want to click the "Preferences" button and see if you can change the default behaviour to print instead of fax.

  • Mail with PDF attachments sent, not stored in Sent

IMAP account, Sent folder configured to point to server's sent mail folder. "Windows friendly attachments" selected.
If I send a message with multiple PDF attachments, the message will be received, but it won't be written to the Sent folder.
I can't afford to lose the archive copy of these messages, so I have adopted the habit of bcc'ing myself, but it's a drag.
    Any thoughts?

I don't think this is a Mail issue, I think it's to do with the receiving ISP and the reason the mail can't be delivered. For example, if the address does not exist the mail will probably bounce back straight away but if the recipient's mail box is full then the server may try later and if it's been emptied, the mail will go through - if not, after a few tries it will bounce. Hence the delay.

  • Since upgrading iPhone 4S to OIS 7 my outlook 2010 calendar and contacts will not sync.  Anyone have a solution?

Everything was fine with Outlook 2010 on my iPhone 4S. Now with IOS 7 my calendar and contacts no longer sync. I have read so many comments online but no one has had the perfect solution. I feel as if I have tried everything. I have even reset my software and phone. Still nothing. Is this feature no longer available or are there new requirements to make it work? I am so unhappy!!!

    Hello there janis143,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like after the recent iOS update, your Outlook content is no longer syncing properly to your phone.
    I found this article named:
iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Troubleshooting contact and calendar syncing via USB on Windows

I recommend the troubleshooting steps therein.

  • Outlook 2010/Exchange 2007 Calendar Will Not Display

    Hi Folks,
I've been working on an issue for the past 3 weeks and would love some assistance.
    Here's the problem:
A user indicated that she was using Outlook normally, flipping between the Mail and Calendar tab. When she went back to the Calendar tab, the navigation pane switched to the Calendar tab, but the main pane and ribbon were still showing Mail content.
The only way for her to display her Calendar properly is to right-click on Calendar and select "Open in New Window" - but even then if she goes to the Mail tab, she cannot go back to her Calendar again.
Please note we are running on Exchange version 8.3.327.1
Here are the fixes I've attempted:
    New OST file
    New Mail profile
    Ran outlook.exe with the following switches:  /safe /cleanrules /cleanview /resetfolders /resetnavpane
Please note: resetnavpane breaks the OST file and requires me to create a new OST file for the user
Open Mailbox on a different computer - that same issue occurs
Open Mailbox in webmail - the calendar is displayed properly
    Odds n Ends: Hitting CTRL + 6, Hitting F5.
I've run out of ideas and would appreciate any ideas to resolve this problem
    Thanks!
    Derek

    Hi Derek,
It should not be an Exchange issue. Based on my research, there is no feature in Exchange server can configure the Outlook reading pane or navigation pane performance. Since there is only one user encounter this issue and OWA can work well, please check
the following points to narrow down the issue:
    1. Please configure your Outlook account in your colleague’s domain-joined computer with your colleague’s domain account to check whether the issue is caused by your Roaming Profile.
    2. Configure Outlook account outside the domain by using Outlook Anywhere to check whether the issue is caused by any policy in your domain.

  • PDF file will not print text properly in Acrobat 9.5.0 and OS X 10.6.8

I have been having trouble printing PDF files from Acrobat ever since I upgraded from 10.5.8 to 10.6.8. I have read many posts about the issue having arisen for other people in 10.6.7 and 10.6.8 although it did not seem to be a problem in 10.6.6. However, I have yet to find a permanent solution to this issue. Specifically, I am printing to an Epson Stylus Pro 4000 via LPD. I think my issue revolves around the Open Type issue that people have been discussing in OS 10.6.8, since I have two identical files other than the font encoding. The one with Type 1 PS fonts prints fine, the other with fonts converted to CID does not. Both files make it to the printer, but only the Type 1 file prints the fonts properly. The CID version has all the font characters on a line stack up on top of each other to the left side of the page. Any help would be appreciated. I hoped the upgrade to 9.5.0 would help, but it does not. And yes, the file prints fine in Preview, as well as if I check the option to print page as image. But I don't want to rasterize my page, I'd like it to print as it should. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

  • PDF Document will not print on wireless network

Recently purchased Fujitsu laptop with Vista Home Premium O/S, 2.4 Gig chip, 2 Gig Ram. Printer is Canon Image Class 880 multi-function printer. I am able to print Microsoft Word documents via the wireless network and can also print documents off of the web on the wireless network, except for downloaded PDF files.
When I try to print a PDF file, the print box will come up and show the correct printer. When I click OK in the print box, a "Progress" dialog box comes up and indicates "preparing" as a percentage of the total document the computer is trying to send to the printer. Then, the box turns grey, and a message comes up saying Adobe Reader had a problem and has shut down. Also, Windows Document Execution Prevention then comes up saying a problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
I'm not sure which version of Adobe reader came with the computer, but it was upgraded to 8.1.2 on 2/12/08.
Any helpful ideas will be appreciated.

  • Adobe PDF 8 will not "print". It pauses instead.

I upgraded to Leopard. Now when I attempt to create a PDF file by printing using the Adobe PDF 8 printer, the file will process into the printer job list, and then the printer will PAUSE. No amount of Resuming or restarting the print queue will get the job to process and actually create the PDF file. Each time, the printer queue will Pause the printer. I have tried this with several different applications.
I have tried to use the PDF button and Save as PDF. I now get a dialog box stating that this feature is not supported.

This discussion has been bouncing around the tech support discussion boards on Adobe's website as well. Here's a quick fix until Apple and Adobe manage to work things out with PDF creation via the PDF virtual printer (thanks to codepoerty.net website for the initial fix). It works for me.
In Terminal type the following if you are using Acrobat 7.x:
    sudo chmod 4755 /usr/libexec/cups/backend/pdf700
In Terminal type the following if you are using Acrobat 8.x:
    sudo chmod 4755 /usr/libexec/cups/backend/pdf800
In either case, you will be prompted for your admin password to approve the permissions change. You won't see any sort of visual confirmation that the file was modified successfully, but you should now be able to create PDFs using the virtual PDF printer.
This will probably revert back to the original permissions if you do a permissions repair, so keep the instructions handy just in case.
    Good luck!

  • PDF file will not print out Special Characters

I am currently a technician for a college and, and the customer that I am attending currently has the following Problem:
I am using Adobe PRO 9 to convert my Word files to pdfs for [a New York Printing Company].... The Greek letters used in Word are seen in Word, are seen in PDF, but do not come out in ...[the New York Printing Companies'] printing.
What could be the stubling block for the NY printing company to not be able to print out the Special Characters in the PDF files? I clearly cannot go to the company myself and tell them to change their printer settings or something like that.

Thank you, I have checked the font and I see all the fonts I need already installed. I am not sure if this will solve the problem, and there is a chance that the Adobe Acrobat settings on my customers PC need to be adjusted like you said.
At least I can start looking somewhere .

  • Outlook 2010 x64 PDF Attachments not opening 11.0.09

    Computer Specs
    Windows 7 x64 SP1 with latest updates
    Acrobat 11.0.09 Update
Office 2010 x64 with latest updates
Problem is in outlook when double clicking a PDF attachment, the circle appears like it's thinking to open but then nothing happens.  If I open Acrobat, minimize it, then click on the PDF attachment in the email it fires right up.  I repaired Acrobat via Programs/Features with no success.  User stated that this did not happen previously.  I noticed he just recently got the 11.0.09 update though.  Thoughts?  Thank You.

  • PDF's will not print to a Canon printer

I recently purchased a Canon IP100 compact printer and when I send PDF's to print on it I get the following error message:
Unable to open raster stream -: No such file or directory.  Does anyone have a reason or solution for this.
This does not happen with any other printer.  This problem occurs no matter where the PDF document comes from.

I think that the IP100 is one of those printers that you always have to use print as image on (in the print dialog), unless an updated driver ever appears.

That is a pretty old post. Adobe released a fix for Acrobat Pro in Feb of this year to resolve the problems with 10.5. You need to update your software to fix the problem. I believe the version should be 8.1.2.
