Multiple Enterprise Accounts using single DUNS number

We are a parent company with a couple of subsidiaries who would like to release iOS titles under their own company name.
From what I understand, to release an app to the App Store that has the subsidiary company name listed we would need a developer account for each subsidiary.
If we apply for a DUNS number for the parent company, is it possible to then create several enterprise developer accounts for each subsidiary but submit the DUNS number for the parent company?

yes. this is possible. OIM allow this.
obviously the recon rule would be employee number or anything other than ' sAmAccontName' for target recon
while provisioning make sure you are generating unique sAmAccountName and Common Name(if in same OU) for same user
If you maintain above no issue having multiple account for a sing user in single domain

Multiple Email Accounts using MS Mail

I want to setup multiple email accounts using MS mail. My already has an account, but I want to add an account for my son. I've added the account on verizon and in MS mail. However, I want to have completly separate accounts so that when my son opens his email he only see his email and when my wife opens her email, she only sees her email. Right now, when MS mail is opened both their emails come up and when they send an email, they must select which email account they are sending from.
Does anyone know how to do this?

One option would be to not use MS Mail (I assume you really mean Windows Live Mail?). You could create accounts for them and have them just use the Web mail interface to get to their mail.
Another option would be to give each person their own "user account" on your machine instead of all logging into the computer as the same userid. If you do this, any mail settings will remain with the individual account.

Multiple Guest Accounts using different system languages

Hello there,
I have an old G3 iMac that i want to set up in my guest room. As some of my friends are japanese and some are german i would like to prepare one guest account using german system language und one using japanese.
Is that even possible, or can i only use one system language (i.e. language used in Menu Bar and Finder ect.) for all accounts?

Yep, I just did it, made two new Accounts, in each one went to System Preferences>International>Language tab, dragged German to the top in one, then the Formats tab to set Currency, Date/Time & such, after logging oit and back in to the first one, everything... Finder, Safari, Desktop, Dock, all was in German, repeated on second one for Japanese!

Multiple Windows accounts using a single Library

I have not found a way to solve this problem but I am convinced that it is my lack of Windows expertise, so hopefully someone can point me in the right direction. I am talking about the iTunes Library and NOT Music Folder.
I have two login accounts in my WinXP environment. I want both of these accounts to have not just access, but full control over iTunes - add music, create and delete playlists, etc. In effect, I want iTunes to see both accounts as if they were one user. There is no issue with simultaneous access and conflicts because the machine is not configured to allow fast user switching(and it can't be - our IT dept won't allow). This also prevents using any sort of solution which uses iTunes music "sharing".
I had no problem locating the iTunes Music Folder in common space so both accounts can access the actual music, but for now, I've had to copy the iTunes Libray.itl (and the XML lib file) into the second user account's Docs and settings\account\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\ path. Then I try remember which was changed last and manually sync - painful and error prone.
I tried copying the iTunes folder and library files to common access space (all users), and then creating shortcuts, renaming the shortcuts to the actual files names (dropping "shortcut to"), and putting the shortcuts in the locations where iTunes expects to find the "real" files. This is how I got it to work on the Mac - with aliases - but I guess that aliases and shortcuts don't exactly behave the same.

How can a family with multiple existing accounts use Home Sharing?

I'd like to use the new Home Sharing feature, but it appears to be restricted to families in which all of the family members share a single user account.
We already have separate accounts for each family member. Is there some way for us to use Home Sharing without abandoning most of our existing accounts, along with all of the purchases made by those accounts? I don't think anyone in this situation would be willing to do that.

Eh. I am not too sure since I have not messed with it much but I do have a great deal of experience with multiple accounts. Each computer can be authorized for multiple accounts. As can iPods. iPods can sync songs/videos/apps from multiple accounts as long as the computer is authorized with them. What I have set up here, is I buy my stuff I want, my parents buy what they want and so do my brothers. When my bro gets something I want I just move it to my computer. That way all our accounts are separate, but if there is something I want I can get it. Also, since the music no longer has DRM, it won't matter. It will play on any computer. What you should see is if you can just do the shared library with multiple accounts. Then if you don't have videos or such, you can get apps or music. Hope this helps!

Perhaps novice Q: multiple devices/accounts, versus single Mac

My family members have multiple ipads, iphones etc, and separate itunes accounts. we are in process of consolidating PCs/Macs etc, such that we may only have one main household Mac. Can one Mac support syncing/updates etc across mulipe devices & accounts, whilst keeping accounts & libraries independant?
i have tried and failed miserably. i suspect i am missing something obvious any advice?

Well it seems like the first thing you should do is consolidate your iTunes libraries so that you don't have 4 copies of everything, one for each user logged in to your Mac Mini. How you do that is consolidate all 4 iTunes folders to one folder located in the /Users/Shared/ folder and update each of your iTunes to point to that folder accordingly. That way you have one iTunes library, only one copy of your media, but accessible from multiple users.
One caveat is that if somebody is logged on and has iTunes open, you can't fast switch to another user and open iTunes. Apple made it so that only one user and one instance of iTunes can open a iTunes library at a time.
For your iTunes match situation, it does sound like you would be much better off sharing a single Apple ID with one iTunes Match. For consolidating, make sure you have everything everybody has shared via Home Sharing to the main account you'd like to move over to, and then simply go to each device Settings, Store, and the sign out of the original Apple ID and logon using the shared main Apple ID. I just looked at it and the automatic downloading is already live in iOS! You can specify if you want to do music, apps, and books separately in case you may want to automatically download music but not apps or books.

Multiple HTTP requests using single HTTPService component

Hi,
I am having one requirement, I need to use a single HTTPService component to send request to a same and single ASP.net multiple times.
How can I acheive that..? I know that I can acheive this by sending one request at a time and after the "result" event is called for the first request then sending the second request and so on...
But if I do so then it will be delayed response as I need to wait until the result handler for the previous request is called...
So how do I do this..?
Any help greatly appreciated....:)

yep, the setting works when set to 10. Seemed to not work when set to 20. Anyways, summary is "long polling" and Flex
or Flash are not good compatriates. So, you will need to work out your own mechanism on the server or client
side to limit the sockets used/wasted. Painful but true.

Combine multiple user accounts to single library

I am relatively inexperienced in using itunes and computers in general. I have tried searching but can't figure out how to do this.
I have an imac with 4 user accounts - my administrator account and 3 accounts for each of my kids. They each use itunes and have loaded cd's and purchased music. I assume there is a seperate library kept in each user account because the songs are different when each kid opens itunes in his/her own account.
In order to avoid duplication (ie certain CD's they have all loaded) and allow each of them to access music one of the others has bought I would like to have a single library so that when each child signs in to their account they will all get the same list of music.
Is this possible?? If so can someone give me detailed instructions of how to combine the 4 libraries and then how to set the preferences so when each kid starts itunes it gets pointed to this one 'community' library.

Can a device be added to my iCloud account using the serial number?

I'm hoping to find an option to get an iPad added to my iCloud account without having the device in hand. Situation - my new iPad was stolen prior to getting it set up with the Find My iPad app. I have the original packaging with serial number and have already alerted Apple of the situation. Since it was a car break in the police are inverstigating and have entered the S/N into the 'stolen property database'. The device does not have the Find my iPad app installed but I did have location services turned on. At least it was turned on when I last had it... At the advice of the investigator handling my case I'm looking for options to get the iPad associated to my account. Is this possible???

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately there is no "Find my iPhone" service showing up under my iCloud settings. And no way to add a device when viewing my iCloud account when logged in from my computer. From everything I've found online, including other posts in this forum (which I hadn't seen when I posted mine) it appears the 'Find my Device' app must be set up on the device if you want to try to locate it. So unless they update this feature I guess I - and many others - are out of luck

Creating multiple mail accounts using 10.5's mail program

Just bought a MacBook, my first, so I'm sort of stupid regarding Mac stuff. I'm having a problem with E-mail aliases, I have a main BT E-mail account and several aliases where I use 1 username and 1 password to retrieve ALL the mail, I cannot create multple alias accounts on the Mac using the main account name and password, any ideas?

thanks for replying, I have tried that but it only allows me to send using the aliases, not retrieving my mail. Basically I have 1 account with several sub accounts all using the main account username and password, I get the main mailbox mails but no others, if I use the webmail facility I can read all the sub account mail in the inbox but it does not get delivered to my Mac and it does not search for any new mail other than my main account

Multiple ASM instances using single cluster install - Is it possible??

Hi,
I have 2 node RAC cluster installed on Linux. All the storage is on EMC. I need to setup another environment using HP storage on the same hosts. Is it possible to created second ASM instance using the same cluster install?? I wanted to have clear separation b/w EMC and HP environments and that's wondering if it's feasible to do that.
Haven't tried it yet to see if it complains.

The data migration won't happen (at least not aggressively) until you do step 2 in your list where you remove the EMC disks. That removal operation will take a long time as Oracle will have to move the data before it can complete the operation. If you want to be sure, I'd recommend creating a new disk group with one of your new disks, put a small tablespace in it, create some data in it, then add a disk to that new group and remove the original disk. Then you'll have some confidence in the procedure and verify that it works without risking your production data. After you test, you can drop the disk group and use the disks for their intended purposes.
To answer your question, yes, that's the process exactly as I suggested it above. Should work fine--but will probably take a while to do the remove, so be prepared to leave that running for quite a while (i.e. don't expect to close the terminal and go home right after running the remove).
