Multiple entries per line on MTRs

Hello,
Can anyone tell me what the multiple line items are when running an MTR?  I previously though that the "extra" line entries were the various paths that an ICMP packet may take to the destination, but I have observed that the last hop will occassionally contain multiple entries, as well. This is confusing me in my newbness.  Can anyone help provide some insight into this?
Thanks,
Kevin

Hi Kevin,
If you see how to read MTR output just check the below example which has the heading

The above output shows the packet loss occured while the device coming in between to destination with ping responce of last, latest and avg fromwhere we can come to conclusion where is the problematic area like if you see the above output router at 194.19.98.129 is having haigh packet loss,it can be problem with routing protocol, if the lag is a bad route, cached arp, or bad routing tables.
Hope to Help !!

  • Nokia 2323 Contacts: Multiple entries per contact ...

    Hello Everyone,
    Greetings
I am planning to buy Nokia 2323 Classic phone. gsmarena informs that it can save 1000 contacts. What I need to know is that does this phone accept multiple entries per contact. For example: Work Phone, Home Phone, Fax, Mobile Phone etc. If yes, then how many entries can each contact take? Also, if we add multiple entries then would it reduce the number of contacts we can save?
I have googled but it doesn't help. Also tried looking at the online user guide of Nokia 2323. It talks about going into Details menu and then entering Add detail but doesn't mention what kind of "details" it takes. I would be really glad if some one who has seen/used the phone could help.
    Thank you.

    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Now that I'm not so sure about. The phone will either have a certain amount of memory put aside for contacts and usually you can't tell how much but you can check how much of it you have used as a percentage or it will let the contacts share the same memory as your messages and everything else and when you check your memory it will just tell you how much the contacts are using. I haven't used that phone but I think the 1st case applies to it

  • Multiple entries per contact - What number was used?

I must be missing something... My wife called while I was away from my phone. I look on the "Recent" screen and see her name. But how do I tell where she called me from? I have her office and cell number on the phone. If I hit the arrow which gives me details, it doesn't show me the number that she called from. There are stars next to her office and cell number...
I can certainly touch the name and it'll call the number back that she called from. But I'd like to know the number before I call. What if I want to call her from my office versus returning the call on my iPhone?
    Am I missing something?

I've had instances where none of the numbers are highlighted at all. If I go back to the home screen and go back to the recent calls list, then go into an entry, then they are highlighted. Has happened twice now.

  • Multiple values per line

    I have a table of the format:=
    person_id number,
    phone_type varchar2,
    phone_number varchar2.
    Eg:=
    person_id,phone_type,phone_number
    1 home 123456
    1 work 456789
    1 mobile 989076554
    2 home 456789090
    3 home 4567890
    3 fax 345678
    3 mobile 23456789
I want to return the data in the format:=
    1 home 12345 work 45678 mobile 989076554
    2 home 456789090
    3 home 4567890 fax 345678 mobile 23456789
Any suggestions? What if the number of phone_types is not fixed?

    Since procedural approach has been given already, here is an alternative with SQL statement. SQL> Select * From phones;
    PERSON_ID PHONE_TYPE PHONE_NUMB
             1 home       123456
             1 work       456789
             1 mobile     989076554
             2 home       456789090
             3 home       4567890
             3 fax        345678
             3 mobile     23456789
    7 rows selected.
    SQL> Select person_id, max(decode(rn, 1, phone_type, null)) phone_type1,
      2               max(decode(rn, 1, phone_number, null)) phone_num1,
      3                    max(decode(rn, 2, phone_type, null)) phone_type2,
      4               max(decode(rn, 2, phone_number, null)) phone_num2,
      5                    max(decode(rn, 3, phone_type, null)) phone_type3,
      6               max(decode(rn, 3, phone_number, null)) phone_num3
      7  From
      8  (Select person_id, phone_type, phone_number,
9   row_number() over (partition by person_id order by person_id) rn
    10   From phones)
    11  Group By person_id
    12  /
    PERSON_ID PHONE_TYPE PHONE_NUM1 PHONE_TYPE PHONE_NUM2 PHONE_TYPE PHONE_NUM3
             1 home       123456     work       456789     mobile     989076554
             2 home       456789090
3 home       4567890    fax        345678     mobile     23456789Caveat1: This approach must know the maximun number of PHONE_TYPES upfront.
Above coding works for 3 phone types. If there are more, add more max(decode())
    clauses to the SQL.
Caveat2: SQL uses analytical function, you should have Oracle 8i or above to run this SQL.

  • Only multiple entries in BP when creating a new table/field with EEW

    Hi,
I am creating new tables/fields for BP in CRM 4.0 using transaction EEWB.
This is working quite well but the fields that appear allows multiple entries per BP. I just want one single entry per BP.
The wizard talks about multiple options but I cannot see how I define that if it should be a single entry or multiple.
Any idea how to achieve that?
    Thanks,
    //anders

    Hi
As i know the fields will be multiple only, u can try for 'default'
and also try in the wizard in step 2
The Process of EEW will be like this
    1. To add new fields to the business partner, use the business object Business Partner (BUPA) and create an enhancement of the type "Add New Fields". A wizard helps you define the individual enhancements and provides you with the necessary information for each step.
2 For each field, you must define the field name, data type and, if necessary, the field length.
3 For each field, define whether a check table should be available.
4 For each field, you must also determine whether it should be transferred to SAP BI or to CRM Field Applications.
5 In the last wizard screen, the system shows you an overview of the fields you defined, together with their associated attributes.
6 To start generation, choose Complete.
I hope u can solve ur prob in Step 2 data type
    cheers

  • Multiple Selection multi-line per choice

I have a bunch of multiple selection items which are all the same, so I copied and pasted them where I wanted them. The pasted ones are taking up two to three lines per choice (one word per line) even though they are very short and the original that I copied from only takes one line each. Does this mean I have to do each one manually? Why are the copied ones different from the original? Thanks!

    Hi,
It sounds like a bug, since this shouldn't be happening.  However I tried to reproduce the problem, but couldn't.  It's probably a bug, that specific to your choices labels.  Could you share your form to me ([email protected]), so I can take a look at the specifics?  Once I can see it, I can provide some guidance about the issue and how to work around it (if posisble) until we've fixed it.  You can share a form by clicking the share button, and then clicking add collaborators.
    Thanks,

  • Managing Per Line Unblocking (*82) in Contacts

After many years of waiting on Apple, and then my contract upgrade date, I now have an iPhone on VZW.  I'm fairly familiar with iOS from my iPod touch, but have a question on the phone side.
I've got "Per Line Blocking" turned on to try to prevent my Caller ID being displayed[1].  So I want to set up various Contacts in the iPhone so that calls to them get unblocked.  This requires pre-pending *82 to their number.   I've also found that to match many incoming calls and texts, I need to have the +1 int'l dialing prefix before their number in Contacts.  On my previous feature phone, I didn't need the +1 and could put *82### ### #### into the contact and things just worked (except I'd have to edit it out to start a new text exchange).
So I'm wondering how *82 and +1 are going to interact in the iPhone.  Am I going to need multiple entries (one with *82 and one with +1) for each number in Contacts to pull this off, or can I just have *82+1 ### ### #####?  If multiple entries, is there a way to make sure that *82 is used for outgoing calls with the minimal fuss (i.e. does having it first in the list work?).  Anybody have experience with this?
Also does turning off "International Assist" change the solution? Do you get good incoming matches with just a ten digit number in the Contacts?
And it should be fun to see how this mess interacts with Ford SYNC, but I'll cross that bridge later.
    Thanks,
    -2x4
[1]I know about the exceptions and hacks.

While your suggestion may work for outgoing calls, it does not match incoming calls and SMS.  Apparently the iPhone is very literal in it's matching.  For example, I must have an only 10 digit entry in contacts to match another VZW caller so that a name is displayed rather than a number.  But a friend who is an ATT wireless customer has to have the +1 in front of the 10 digit entry to match.  From other Internet forums, it seems some carriers may even just send 7 digits in the Caller ID.  However none will match with *82 in the entry.  Seems like until Apple makes some improvements I'm stuck with two entries if I want to apply *82 to outgoing calls.
As far as interacting with Ford SYNC.  If I label the two entries as "Mobile" for one contact, it needs to prompt me for which one when I make an outgoing call.  I haven't tried it yet, but I think the solution there is to have the *82 version marked with the correct designation and the "matching" version labeled something unused, like "Other".
International Assist is a setting for the iPhone's Phone App.  As I understand it, it is supposed to automatically decide if the International dialing prefix is needed for outgoing calls when you travel abroad.  I expect the *82 prefix may confuse it, but I haven't any empirical evidence yet.

  • Can I combine multiple entries into a single statement?

I am relatively new to Live Cycle so forgive my lack of technical wording.
I would like to use multiple entry fields to fill in a statement.
    For example:
I'd like the user to see this:
Target Dropdown     Endo Dropdown     Type Dropdown     Version # Entry     Date 1 Entry     Date 2 Entry
and then have the form merge all that together into a line that looks like this:
    RS_(target)_(endo)_(type)\(version)_(date)_(date)
Preferably without repeating information on the page as we'll have multiple of these entries and the page will get hectic quick.
    Is this possible?
I first had each dropdown in individual table fields, but due to regulations we follow the entries need to be merged without spaces.
I always have a backup if this can't be done, but any help is appreciated.

Not sure where you're sending it, but if you have a global variable named "bob".
    bob.value = "RS_"+target.rawValue+"_"+endo.rawValue+"_"+type.rawValue+"\"+version.rawValue+"_"+date.r awValue+"_"+date2.rawValue;
    Something like that should work.

  • MRP creating multiple delivery schedule lines in PR

    Hi,
We have activated MRP (type PD) where Purchase requiesition is auto created by system for requirement quantity. We require to optimize delivery schedule in such a way that entire PR quantity is broken into various delivery schedule based on planned delivery time and requirement.  Scenario can be further explained with following example.
Material Requirement for a month is say 1,25,000 units
    Closing Stock say 25,000 units
PR Generated by system for 1,00,000 units. The entire quantity is schdulled with only one delivery schedule line as per planned delivery time.
The requirement is to generate multiple delivery schedule lines automatically in Purchase requisition based on planned delivery time so that Purchase orders can be placed with system generated delivery schedule lines.
How can it be achieved ?
    Regards,
    Nirav Kinkhabwala

    Dear
Are you dealing with Single vendor  where you want Multiple Schedule Line item through single PR  which should be generated through MRP run ??
What you will have to do is to set up the Outline Agreement or Info Record for your vendor and material and then create the source record for this vendor- material relationship and make sure that this source record is set as MRP relevant. Once MRP is run, the vendor is automatically defaulted to your PRs. If in your material master, you have defined the same purchasing group for various material numbers, then with Transaction ME59, it is feasible that you can combine various PRs of the same purchasing group by flagging onto the 'Per Purchasing Group' indicator checkbox. Make a trial test and let me know how it goes.
Or you can use Qouta arrabgement in that case for different vendor .Please refer : Multiple Requisition  line itme for Quota arrangement
    Just check and revert

  • How to stop this multiple entry against same condition type in pricing

My client is using manual condition type for the basic price "ZBPR". Now system allowing multiple entry against this condition type in the pricing screen during order creation i.e in the first line if we put ZBPR 00 , in the second line system allowing to put another value against same ZBPR say for example 2000 & doing all subsequent calculations on the basis of 3000 .which is not at all acceptable by my client .Please suggest how to stop this multiple entry against same condition type

You have to make the condition type as Mandatory and not manual.
If you are entering many condition records of the ZPR0 then the latest entry will be taken for further processing for subtotal rebate and total price.
For all the other entered condition records will have yellow traffic signal which is not active.
you can assign a routine with the help pf your abaper...
In the Transaction VOFM  define a requirement such that
you condition type takes value only one at the time of order entry.

  • Is it possible to have more than one Tax code per line item in Billing docu

Is it possible to have more than one Tax code per line item in Billing document ?

    Hi,
I have a different perspective there.
If an item is applicable for two different taxes which are represented by two different tax condition types and these tax conditions are configured in the tax procedure, FTXP and so on....then these two condition records can have two different tax codes.
We actually have this scenario in EU now, where EU talks about service tax in 2010 apart from the normal VAT. So now we have MWST and ZWST(Say)
Now there are some materials which come with a service associated with it. So a service charge is also levied when the material is sold. So the material price will become applicable for VAT and the service charge becomes applicable for service tax. In this case, the tax classification of the customer will have two entries in sales orders updated in the fields VBAK-TAXK1 and VBAK-TAXK2 based on the sequence number of these condition types.
Now based on different tax classification of the customer, we have 2 different tax codes representing different %of tax.
    Hope it helps

    hi,
have a look at these tables
    VBAK -  Header table
    VBAP -  Item table
here in table VBAK we have a key field VBELN(document no.)
Whereas for the same document no. we can have many entries in the the table VBAP where the key is VBELN(document no.)
    and POSNR (line item no.).
You have to do something of this type i suppose ............
    Hope it helps you,
    Regards,

  • Order Address per Line Item in OLA

Hi, hoping someone can help with an OA/OLA query.
One of our Buyers would like to use a different ordering address for one of the line items in an OLA.  Is there any way to set up an Ordering
Address per line item in the OLA?  Or does she need to create a new OLA?

I'd suggest writing your own might be easier. Oracle buckets the exposure as per the list below whereas you are probably only interested in seeing a total order exposure (by line item for bottles/shells) and total AR exposure summary.
Also the standard report will look at the unit sell * the ordered quantity in calculating transaction amounts on open orders which is your problem. If I've understood your requirement correctly, you only want to consider the shells and bottles in the credit check because you enforce prepayment for liquids so presumably your AR o/s balances are only for money owing on shells and bottles.
In that case, your only real issue is at the order entry stage (again because Oracle will be considering the total transaction value if you're using the standard automated credit check) which is why I suggested the manual workaround there.
