Multiple exchange calendars

Hi,
We use exchange 2010 within my organisation and I use a calendar to show my guys what they are up to.
At the moment, I have an exchange account created on my iphone for my company email and another exchange account for the job calendar.
For example, my company domain account will be joe_bloggs and the shared calendar will be tech_support.
The issue with this is that for the guys to see the tech_support calendar on their iphone they need to also create an exchange account on their iphone with the same credentials as me which in turns gives them the same rights to edit the entries.
What I would like to do is have a calendar that I can edit and control with one account and the guys view the calendar using their existing domain account so we can control their permissions.
Is there a way to open an exchange calendar for one account but use the credentials of another?
Thanks
Gavin

I am not sure it is necessary to go to this kind of lengths as I had heard that BB10 would have this functionality native, but I have done about 20 hours of research to try to find a way to get 2 Exchange calendars on the same phone.  There was a workaround but this required 2 seperate BES domains, but this was not what I needed.  However, at long last, I have done it.
The first calendar should be synched up as expected through BES.  The other requires significantly more work, and requires that you have access to a computer where the calendar's owner is logged in on Outlook.
1. Create a dummy gmail account and activate camera.
2. Install the iCal4OL software on the computer where the 2nd calendar is stored: http://ical.gutentag.ch/index.html
It comes with a 14day free trial, after that it is something like $20 one-time fee, worth it if you use calendar all the time and are dying to be able to use a second calendar.
3. Login to Google through iCal4OL, and sync Outlook with Google (if the calendar is not the default, make sure to select the proper calendar in iCal4OL).
4. Sync up your Google calendar through BIS.
TADAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
And they said it couldn't be done

  • Multiple Exchange calendars not syncing correctly

    Hi,
I'm having a strange issue with syncing calendars from my iPad and iPhone to our Exchange server.  I have three calendars in Exchange, which I'll call Calendar1, Calendar2 and Calendar3. Calendar1 was my original calendar, and I added the other two later.
I have my Exchange account set up on my iPad and iPhone. Calendar1 syncs correctly in all directions. If I create an appointment in Outlook in Calendar2 or Calendar3, the appointment appears on my iPhone and iPad, as it should. The problem is that if I create an appointment on the iPad or iPhone in Calendar2 or Calendar3, the appointment never appears in Outlook or on the other device.
I did a test with someone else whose company has Exchange Server 2010, and Outlook 2010, and everything worked correctly with all calendars.
    Here's what I'm using:
iPhone 4, updated to iOS 5
    iPad, still at iOS 4
    Exchange Server 2003
    Outlook 2007
    Any thoughts? Thanks!

    Have you tried:
iTunes 11 for Mac: Sync contacts, calendars, and other info with iPod, iPhone, or iPad

  • E7: multiple Outlook exchange calendars

Did you know you can create an any number of calendars in your Outlook? If you did not, its quite well explained in this video: http://bit.ly/lDpA4R
I have created my personal calendar in my company outlook to store all of my personal meetings and to prevent mixup between work stuff. If you have used Exchange with Apple, you know that once mail profile is created, you are presented with multiple exchange calendars in the native calendar app, and you are able to select which calendars to show.
However, with E7, only the default (ie. work) calendar is synced. In "manage calendars" there is only "mail for exchange" and the default calendar of the phone itself.
So: this awesome exchange feature is quaranteed to work on at least with Apple, so what would it take to get it as soon as possible to Nokia as well?

    Hello?
Anyone care to take catch on this one? If the answer is "no it cannot and will not be done" then please say it so we can get on with it. Otherwise I just migt as well switch back to Apple where Exchange works as it should.
Im trying to stay positive about new E7 so someone there should try to look like you are trying to keep your new customers as well

  • Error while integrating Exchange Calendar with SharePoint Calendar Overlay

Hello All, I'm trying to integrate Exchange Calendar with SharePoint Calendar using Overlay option. I have added root certificate in my central admin, but it still show an error Could
not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel with authority.''
    Any idea what i'm missing?
    Thanks.

    Hi Manish,
As I tested, please perform the steps below and test the issue again:
1.Log in to Exchange server with admin account.
2.Run mmc to open Console, click File > Add/Remove Snap-in, locate Certificates to add > Computer account > local computer.
3.Then you will see Certificates, locate your Exchange certificate and right-click it > All task > Export, leave settings as default and export it to a file.
4.Then go to SharePoint Central Administration > Security > Manage Trusts > add a new trust relationship with this certificate.
5.Note If you have multiple web-frontend servers, repeat these steps on each web-frontend server.

  • When syncing multiple Google calendars to iPad, switching event to different calendar on iPad creates a duplicate in Google. Ideas?

When syncing multiple Google calendars to iPad, switching event to different Google sub-calendar using iPad creates a duplicate in Google.
Using Google account with the Exchange setup on an iPad mini. iOS up to date. I have a secondary calendar in my Google account for some appointments, and when I create the event on the iPad and it defaults to my main Google calendar, changing the event to the secondary calendar caused the following:
    1) at first, the event totally disappeared from my iPad. Scary! Reappeared when I went into Gcal on the web, opened the event to edit, and re-saved. Phew.
    2) Failing to re-create error #1, I switched a new event from primary to secondary calendar, and it then appears correct on iPad, but is duplicated on the web. The duplicate remains even after deleting the changed event on iPad, refreshing Gcal, etc.
Just curious if anyone else is having this problem or has discovered a workaround or fix.

When you open the Calendar app, tap the button at the top-left corner (Calendars).  That should reveal all the calendars you have available, and you can select/ un-select any or all of them.
If you don't see your 2nd GMail calendar listed, go into Settings/ Mail/ (account name) and make sure you've turned the calendar ON for this account.

  • Share Private Exchange Calendar with Entire Organization

    Outlook 2010, Exchange 2007.
    Scenario:
We have a few users who need to share their Exchange calendar with everyone in the organization. Right now, their private calendar is synced to a public folder calender using a third party tool Add2Exchange. This way, everyone can easily browse the Pubic
Folder tree in Outlook and find a (almost live) copy of these calendars.
    Problem:
The sync software sometimes fails, and this causes conflicts in scheduling as the private and public calendars are out of sync.
    Idea For Solution:
We want to delegate direct access to these private calendars, and give everyone Read-Only access to them, so there would be no need for a sync.
    Problem With This Idea:
Users can no longer simply browse their Outlook sidebar and find calendars this way. They must go through the process of "Open User's Folder", Chose calendar, chose the user, attach the calendar. This would have to be done for everyone in the unit,
    and for multiple calendars.
Is there a way I can automate this? I just want to delegate the calendars, and then have them automatically show up in everyone's calendar list next time they open Outlook. Is this something that can be scripted and deployed through AD? I can't seem to find
    anything online to address this.
Are there other ideas I should consider?

    Hi,
As what ED Crowley says, there is no solution in AD or Exchange server to automatically map shared calendar to users’ Outlook client.
We can create a public folder “Share Calendars” for sharing a user’s calendar to all users. Then add Publishing Editor permissions for UserA, UserB to publish their Calendar to Share Calendars. And UsersA and UserB need to manually update the Calendar of
Public Folders in their Outlook client. For more information about
How to Add Permissions for Client Users to Access Public Folder Content in Exchange 2007, please refer to:

  • Searching Multiple Exchange Accounts in Outlook 2010

    Hi
After upgrading to Outlook 2010, one of my users can no longer search multiple exchange accounts.  Here is the background.  The user is an administrative assistant for 2 partners.  She has full permissions against their mailboxes.  Their
accounts show up under her Outlook profile and she can access all the mail, calendars, etc.  However, when she searches, she only gets results back for her mailbox.  She needs to be able to search and get results back from the partners mailboxes
as well.  Is there a setting we are missing?
    Thanks,

    Hi,
It seems to be an issue fixed by the updates. Make sure you have patched Office 2010 SP1 and have the programs up to date on the assistant's computer.

  • How can I group Exchange calendars to publish as 1 on the net.

I have been given the task to figure out how to combine multiple exchange accounts into 1 viewable calender that I can publish from iCal.
This would be a simple task,  except for the fact that iCal is not letting me "group"  my exchange calendars.
Is there any way to do this ?  or perhaps some other work around ?  Maybe I am missing something.
Any offering is appreciated been trying to wrap my head around this.  Thanks in advance.

Export the contacts with Outlook on your PC at work to be imported by a supported address book application on the computer you will be syncing your iPad with.

  • Still can't connect to Exchange Calendar

    Problem started in Mavericks...
My uni offers student email through Office365, it includes the calendar which works on every platform but the MacOS. (iOS, Outlook online, Android, etc.)
The problem is that Calendar can't connect to the Exchange calendar properly.
Error: Calendar needs a valid email address to connect to the Exchange account.
In some research it was found when the global address list is hidden along with Microsoft not implementing a SSL certificate correctly, so it breaks access to the Exchange calendar.
For reference, here's the forum thread:

I've submitted Yosemite feedback multiple times now. Most recently, was the day of Yosemite's release.
Does anyone have any way to escalate this issue?

My phone is doin the same thing.. I was disabling sire reseting the net work and then the phone and the re-enabling siri.  and is doesnt work.. It stopped working for me around 6:00pm ET   I was applying the reset fix  i had to do it multiple times.  it started to work around 1130pm ET and when i woke up this morning around 900am ET agian it will not work.  I keep getting  "can not connected to network"   i have tried all resets suggested no luck..  I thing apple needs to stregthen and boost capacity on there server end.   I came to this IPhone soley bc of Siri and with out the leading software that i believe separates Apple from the rest.. this phone is junk hardware.. I was furious when i learned that the RAM is only 500mb.. all new droids have a Gig with the dual core processors..
Why would apple put a dual core chip in a phone with little/no RAM??????     I believe this is whats causing all alot of issues with Siri...  If you have mulitle apps open or in the inactive state.. there is NO Room in the memory for Siri to run and function properly!

  • Multiple exchange-accounts

    Hi everybody
I have a gmail that contains all my personal e-mails, contacts and calender notes. I also have a work e-mail that contains alle my work related e-mails, contacts and calender note (meetings ect.)
Both accounts can configured as a "Mail for Exchange" which suites me perfectly. I have tried iPhone and Android and it works perfect with multiple exchange account - but Nokia C7 doesn't? Why?
I have googled this for some time without getting any good anwers. Some people says that raodsync does the trick but on the roadsync supportpage the developers state that rodadsync only support one exchange account at the time.
Can it be true that the largest cell-phone manufacturer in the world don't support this simple feature. iOS and Android does...
Please help me, I would like to switch to Nokia but this issue is a deal-breaker :-(
    Sincerly yours

    Hi!
I'm googling now how to set up two exchange accounts on my 701 but it indeed seems it is impossible.
I have now an exchange active sync account for my company mail and calendar. Could you please help me how to sync my outlook.com calendar with my Nokia?
Let me know if this possible at least.
    Thank you in advance,

  • Multiple Exchange accounts on iOS7

In iOS6, it was possible to have multiple Exchange accounts that each had their own calendar, and you could show both calendars with different colors. Now only the main account's calendar shows up.
Exchange + Gmail still shows up as two separate calendars, though, as do any other accounts.
Is this a known iOS 7 bug, a stripped out feature, or something no one has seen before? It's happening on a dozen pads & phones our company just updated, and the shared calendar is very important.

Further research has shown this isn't an iOS problem, it was the move to Exchange 2010 that caused the problem. It has a new default limit of 10 on shared sync connections.

  • How do I set up an exchange calendar

I am able to get my husband's work calendar on my iphone and ipad, but can't seem to set it up on my Mac Book Pro.  It is an exchange account.  It tells me I'm not using a valid email address, but the email address is correct.  Doesn't make sense to me.

I know that some exchange servers block mobile devices, but I've been using an app called "Outlook Mail Pro" (click here) on my iPad successfully with multiple Exchange accounts for a long time now. Even if your exchange server allows mobile devices, but your primary need is only email - you might want to check it out. I like being able to keep my work-related accounts in a separate app from my personal email.

  • Multiple Exchange ActiveSync accounts on E7

Does sombody know if this is working now??It woud not be so dificult i guess. Had an Ipod tuch and even there i coud get multiple exhange accounts and no problems with sync . The only reason i have a Nokia e7 is the keyboard i like but if the support is this bad i think this woud be my last Nokia ever. E7 is a buisness phone so wy not have the function to multiple exchange?
Im from finland and can now understand way Nokia is loosing the battle against apple and android phones !!!! If you are a Nokia fan, try for example an iphone for a few weeks and you get it.....

  • ICS in POP accounts or Multiple Exchange Integrations

    Hi
We have a few iPhones and run our email on a POP basis, we want to upgrade it to Exchange to resolve the issue of receiving ICS attachments, we work as consultants within companies and often access their exchange while under contract, so either need POP to process meeting requests or iPhone to support multiple Exchange integrations, any ideas how to solve this?

The iPhone Mail app doesn't support .ics attachments, but the Calendar app does for Exchange accounts. Only one Exchange account can be active on the phone at a time. So, there's no real solution for you at this point. You can request that Apple support .ics attachments in the iPhone mail client.
You can submit feedback to Apple: http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html.
