Multiple header pages

I am creating a large report where the header section spans 2 pages. Currently, reports prints just the first page in the header section. How can I get the other page to print? I tried the vertical panels per page property, but that doesn't seem to work.

I'm using reports 6i. The behaviour is in the previewer and output. I will also like to get the page header information (eg page number, outside the margins) printed on all the pages in the header section.

Multiple head tags on instance pages

Hi there,
I have a problem whereby pages created from a template are
producing multiple head tags, 3 pairs in fact.
I have used the Check Template Syntax and it is OK.
If I remove the doctype it does not create these duplicate
head areas.
Here is my doctype in the dwt:

Why would you do this? All you need there is the doctitle and

in this case how could I separate the header lines from the flat file and update the details to my internal table.

Hi Amirthraj,
If the flat file is static (if the content within it is same for all) then use the offset concept. First get the contents of the flat file into an internal table and later find the field that has to be in final internal table within the line, calculate the offset for the line and get the value into an workarea. Finally modify/append the work area into an internal table. Also wait for other experts answers for any other hassle free way to achieve the requirement.

Multiple header cells

I understand how to make the top row on a table a header row that will appear on all pages of a multiple page sheet.
Is it possible to get the top 2 rows (or any other number, for that matter) to act as a header row as well? I would like more than one row of the first printing page of a sheet to appear on all sheets.

Multiple Summary Pages

How can I use multiple summary pages in a single OPM project ?

If possibly using JS/Jquery anyway, I'd suggest you don't need multiple summary screens but instead a a single summary screen from OWD with a single list of goals presented by default. Use JS to add a search function and dynamically modify the HTML to make the sorted/grouped lists appear as you desire (on the same page without any requests to the server). Only upon clicking on a goal would the question pages in pursuit of the selected goal begin.
You might get some good ideas on implementation from the searchable combo-boxes in v10.4.1 - summary video available at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PmmQeFt6qCQ&list=UUtUHPDCD1EFH_ftnhR_i-dQ&index=5&feature=plcp shows the properties that control behavior.
You'll probably want to look at the velocity templates in \Release\web-determinations\web-inf\classes\templates\ (after a build). Look at question_screen.vm for an example of how the comboboxes are rendered and for javascript inclusion within a velocity template. Also look at summary_screen.vm as that is what renders the summary screen and will likely be where you will want to add your JS search functionality. (also shows how the list of goals is rendered by default).

How to set multiple home pages, the option is gone (replaced my hard drive and had to reinstall firefox) This version seems to only offer tabs, not pages?

My old version of Firefox had the option for me to set multiple home pages. My hard drive recently failed and had to be replaced, so I had to install the newest version of Firefox. The only option I see when I go to tools, options, general is to set the one home page. (and maybe tabs) I would like to open several of the same pages every time I open my Firefox. Does anyone know how to get this back, or which version had this feature so I can downgrade to that particular version?
Also, I was wondering if there is a way to get the bookmarks I had on the old version back. I think they are lost forever, but if anyone knows, I would be thankful. I do still have the old hard drive, but the way it failed was actually when you tried to open any browser, the hard drive would go and blue screen, this is why the old hard drive had to be replaced. Thanks. :)

So you mean you want to open new windows with the same page when you open Firefox?

As for recovering your bookmarks, you can try to plug that hard drive into a working computer, and then read [[Recovering important data from an old profile]] to copy your bookmarks from it. However, if it is failing you may not be able to do that.

Multiple Header line in Receiver File adapter

I have an issue in Receiver File adapter with multiple header lines. I am able to get only 1 header lines in the receiver file but not multiple header lines with 'nl' since it is static in file mode

I tried with the below in content conversion one as below with no luck
Root.addHeaderLine=1
Root.headerLine=[CommunityTag:Header] 'nl' empNo,EmpName,Age 'nl' [CommunityTag]

Root.endSeparator='nl'
I am getting the Header line as same row as static text.
Can you advise this.

Hi Gabriel, I suggest to produce the header lines from additional nodes in the message payload. That means you need to modify the data type of the target message in order to generate an extra structure in the payload. Use constants in message mapping to generate the header column names, e.g.
<Header>
<H1>CommunityTag:Header</H1>
<H2>empNo,EmpName,Age</H2>
<H3>CommunityTag</H3>
</Header>
In content conversion you have to convert the Header row with
Header.endSeparator='nl'
You won't need parameter addHeaderLine anymore then.

I have a macbook pro using version 10.7.4 and I can't print multiple size pages in a pdf file using the brother laser printer hl-5470 dwt

I have a Macbook Pro using the 10.7.4 version. I recently bought a Brother HL-5470DWT Laser Printer. I can't seem to tell the printer to print multiple size pages in my pdf files.
No matter what I do it still prints all the documents as 8.5x11! It isn't pulling the paper from both printer trays.

Rearrange pages when printing adobe form with multiple master pages

Hello!
Good day to you all.
I have an issue in regards with printing my adobe form with multiple Master pages. I have 4 master pages:
1st master page: a
2nd master page: b
3rd master page: c
4th master page: d
all with different headers and footers all having the same contents (items). I don't have issue with one page content (it just prints 4 pages with different headers and footers). The issue comes out once the items exceed 1 page.
What happens is that the preview/print shows (example: 3-page item)
a1-a2-a3-b1-b2-b3-c1-c2-c3-d1-d2-d3.
What i need is to print these such that all 1st pages of the 4 master page to be printed first, then all the 2nd pages, then all 3rd pages. Please see below:
a1-b1-c1-d1-a2-b2-c2-d2-a3-b3-c3-d3
This is because we will be using carbonless copy paper during printing and it's possible that it would be printed on batch jobs. Please suggest ways to do this.

Can you have a Print button on this screen or you should be using the Abobe toolbar's Print button..?
Well if this on a click of a button in the form and the requirement is only at the time of print and not on print prieview I can have a JS script which does this...
Let me know if this suffice, I can try with a local file and send you the script.

Something is definitely wrong with your install of Reader.
A PDF consists of only the number of pages it was created with. Reader can and will only open those pages... IF it's installed and working properly.
Opening multiple blank pages from a document which contains none is a clear sign that the software isn't functioning. It's like putting a movie into a DVD player, and your TV starts a picture slide show of your last Summer's vacation. Not possible unless there's something seriously wrong.
Uninstall Reader 9.
Use either Adobe's clean uninstaller or Windows Installer Cleanup Utility (http://download.microsoft.com/download/e/9/d/e9d80355-7ab4-45b8-80e8-983a48d5e1bd/msicuu2. exe) to remove all Reader installer files from your system.
Reinstall Reader 9 from a new download (do not use the old one if you still have it on your system)

Currently i am validating only the one header line data of expense spread sheet file with vendor. but the now requirement has changed and there can be a multiple header line item also.
So i need to check for each header line item whether vendor already exist or not.
I am able to check it for 1 header line item, Kindly suggest how to check it for multiple header line item.

Multiple blank pages follow body of message in webmail

Approximately after the update to iOS 7.0.2 and whatever version of updated Safari, when checking web mail using Safari, I get multiple blank 'pages' at the bottom of emails. These multiples will grow in number/size each time I view a message. If I try to print a message out using Airport Extreme and a compatible HP wireless printer, the blank pages ( with notation of the page number, etc.) will number in the hundreds and as high as 1600. I have spoken with Apple customer support and with HP customer support and they have found no problems with my iPad3. If I forward my problem email to someone running an original iPad with the iOS 5 and older Safari, they open the mail in web mail through the same provider (noip.com) and have no problems with the lengthening blank space on the bottom of the emails. Not a perfect test perhaps, but.... When looking at the message source, there is no apparent blank space or coding after the end of the body of the message. I know I can retrieve my mail using Mail and IMAP on the iPad. But, if possible would like to figure out what is the issue if I can before I switch over.... Has any one got ideas as to what could be causing this?

Tap Settings > Safari
Tap to clear Cookies, Data, and History
Then reset your iPad.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
Then try printing a page from email in Safari.
if that didn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
Then restart the iPad and try again.

I had attempted to do it in the object oriented way, but found no ready solution, so I settled for the below solution.
Please use the function REUSE_ALV_COMMENTARY_WRITE.
This allows you to print multiple lines in the header.
I had a requirement of showing 5 lines in the header.
So i went on like:
DATA: it_list_commentary TYPE slis_t_listheader,
           wa_list_commentary TYPE slis_listheader.
wa_list_commentary-typ = 'H'.
wa_list_commentary-info = <text>.
APPEND wa_list_commentary TO it_list_commentary.
wa_list_commentary-typ = 'S'.
wa_list_commentary-info = <text>.
APPEND wa_list_commentary TO it_list_commentary.
I fed he internal table with all 5 lines like above.
Finally I called the function.
CALL FUNCTION 'REUSE_ALV_COMMENTARY_WRITE'
    EXPORTING
      it_list_commentary = it_list_commentary.
