Multiple iCloud accounts on one Mac

I would like to set up an ical calendar to sync all the schedules of my family members. We all have iCloud accounts. This worked before in mobileme, but since the iCloud upgrade it no longer works. Any suggestions to get this working again?

The simplest way to do this would probably to set up Private Sharing: one of you would publish a calendar and the others would subscribe to it with write privileges. Please see
http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mm6b1a9479
and expand 'Share a private calendar or reminder list with specific people'.

iCloud accounts don't access an iTunes account.
iTunes account is used to make purchases.

  • Multiple iCloud account on a Mac?!

    Hi and tnxs for reading.
I notice there is a post with the same subject but the core is different.
I just got an iOS device for mu job with a personal (company related) apple id and iCloud mail account.
I got my new personal apple.id and pwd.
I would like to access this email account via my Mac as-well. For this reason I added this iCloud on my Mac by using Add Account on Mail.
After having inserted my new applied and pwd I got it verified, however the Mail box for this account is not ticked. If I tick it I am prompted to write an iCloud account name @iCloud.com , with the warning that when created it cannot be modified. At this point I stopped the process.
Is there a way to have multiple  iCloud account on my Mail??
    Many tnxs.

The secondary account data I am entering is correct: it is verified during the process and accepted.
Contact, Calendar and Reminders are ticked activated.
Mail is not activated. By manually ticking Mail box I get the msg "Choose an iCloud mail name".
    I am attaching both screenshots.
    Tnxs.

  • HT4436 can I have multiple icloud accounts on one device

can I have multiple icoud accounts on one device (ipad)?

Are you sure only primary account can use Find my iPhone?
I added a secondary account to my daughters iphone and was able to use it for Find my iPhone.
It warns you that the Find my iphone service will be disabled on the other icloud account.
I think this is a good change so I can use a single account to track all the devices.
Looks like only photostream and documents/data are tied to the primary account.

  • Multiple iCloud accounts with one Apple ID?

We have 4 iOS devices in our household (2 iPhones, 2 iPads). We share the same Apple ID. Can we have more than 1 iCloud account with one Apple ID?
We do not want to share our Calendars and Reminders.
    Thanks!

Set up your mac.com account again on devices.  Turn off Mail and other data syncing with this account on your wife's devices for data that you want to keep separate.  Then set up a second ("secondary") iCloud account on your wife's devices to sync Mail.
If you already set up a separate iCloud account on your wife's devices, on her devices go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in your your mac.com ID.  Turn on the data you want to share with this account across all devices; don't turn Mail on.  Then go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Add Account>iCloud and enter her separate iCloud credentials and turn Mail to On.
The only downside to this approach is that her email will be fetch, not push email.  Push email is only supported in the main ("primary") account, not a secondary account.
The limitations to be aware of with secondary accounts are that only the primary account can be used for Photo Stream, Bookmarks, Documents, iCloud Backup and Find My Device.  Also, push mail only works for the primary account; secondary account mail is fetch.

  • How to Configure iCloud with multiple iCloud accounts and one apple id

I need some help from the icloud experts. I almost have my arms around this, but not completely.
What I want to end up with is the following:
One account that both my wife and I use for shared contacts, calendars, photostream and find my device.
Separate account for my email among several devices.
Separate account for my wife for her email among several devices.
Now what I curently have is an apple id (*.mac.com), which is the main account used for purchases, etc. It has my mail, backups, and 25GB of space as a result from MobileMe.
I created a separate icloud account for my wife, using her Apple ID, so that her mail stayed separate from mine. However, now we have separate photo streams, contacts, etc, which is getting confusing and cumbersome.
I would like to keep my apple id as the main account since it already has the 25GB of space. So tell me if the following make sense.
I setup the master account using my apple id (the one with 25GB of space) for both of us, and enable the contacts and calendar syncing for all of our devices.
I turn the mail and Safari bookmarks syncing on for my devices; but turn it off  for my wife's devices.
Then I use my wife's account on her devices to sync her mail, bookmarks, etc.
Would this work or is there another combination to use? Ideally a family oriented apple id would be good for the master account, but it wouldn't have the 25GB of space unless I purchased it. I'm trying to get around that if possible. I have tried to find something like this on the discussion boards but haven't had luck yet.
Thanks in advance for any help.

  • Multiple iCloud accounts on same Mac

We had a family subscription to MobileMe, with 4 of us each having our own me.com email addresses. All of these were set up in the Mail app.  Now that we are moving over to iCloud, in System Preferences, I just see my account as an iCloud account, but the others still show as MobileMe accounts.  At least 2 of those other 3 have been converted to iCloud accounts on their respective iPhones.  How do I get these newly migrated iCloud accounts on to the Mac along with mine that is already there?  I apologize if this is covered elsewhere, but I searched and could not find the solution.  Thanks.

Set up more user accounts, one for each person, and then you can sync the whole bunch to each account.
Please note there is a 3 iCloud User limit (I think...No solid facts)

  • How do I set up multiple iCloud accounts on one Apple ID?

My whole family uses the same Apple ID, but we all want separate iCloud accounts, because I keep on getting contacts from my children's iPhones and iPads. They want accounts between their iPads and iPhones, but I want a separate iCloud. How do they set up a new iCloud on their devices (they don't have Macs)?

    Welcome to the Apple community.
An apple ID is an account. If your family require that their contacts, calendars etc are separate from each other, they all need their own Apple ID (account).
iCloud is a different service from iTunes, you can all use different Apple IDs for your iCloud service, would use the same ID for iTunes, thereby being able to share your music, apps, books, TV shows and movies et cetera.

  • How do i use two iCloud accounts on one mac?

i have been using the cloud without problems on my phone and new imac.  i just purchased a new iphone for my wife and set up a new i cloud account so her phone doesn't have to get my work calendar and contacts.  How can i use both icloud accounts on the same computer so we can both have our photos on the mac?

Thank you for your help. I am a complete newbie to macs. Of I create a new account on the Mac, will all accounts have access to the music, movies, etc?

  • Multiple iCloud accounts on one computer

We would like to have two icloud accounts on our imac. One for music and other apple purchases, and one for calendars, addresses etc.  How would we set that up, both on the imac and on our separate ipads and iphones so we can all access the same itunes info, but keep the other stuff private. my husband has most of the music, but some of it is under my account and my son's. I also need to know how to combine all music under one account (most likely my husband's). Thanks.

To share your purchases and music, you could set up family sharing, and use separate Apple IDs for all other purposes.

  • Multiple iTunes Accounts on One Mac

For years my kids have shared our family iTunes account.  However, they are getting to the point where I want to give them their own iTunes gift cards as presents for purchases, as well as giving my wife her own card to purchase items.  If I buy one card for the family account, invariably either my wife or one of the kids will use the card up without the other being able to purchase what they want.
So I just want to set up iTunes so that they each get their own iTunes account and they are able to access their prior purchases that were made on the family account.  Both kids have mac laptops, iPads and iPhones (a bit spoiled I know, but mostly hand-me-downs).
Ultimately, my question is whether each kid can have their own separate iTunes account and still have access to their old purchases from the joint account and access to their new content?  Really, it's whether macs and iDevices can play content from different iTunes accounts.
I've tried to sort through the forums to find this, but can't find if this was addressed before.  Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

Seperate iTunes accounts should be dealt with by using seperate user accounts on the Mac itself. You shouldn't be logging in and out of iTunes accounts in the same user account.

  • Multiple iCloud accounts on one Apple TV2

    Hi together
I activated iCloud on my Apple TV2. Now i have access to all my songs without having to run my mac. My girlfriend has her own iTunes/iCloud Account. How can I switch to her account on the Apple TV2? Is it really necessary to go into settings and so on? Same for switching back to my account? This is not very elegant.
Isn't it possible to activate both accounts simultaneously?
    Thanks for your help!

No it's not possible to run two accounts at once.

  • Multiple icloud accounts on one Apple ID account? please help!

My brother and I both use the same itunes account as our mom. Its frustrating because we both have all of her information on our devices, and now, my emails are all being sent from her account. when i use the @me account i was given after installing icloud, it shows that it is in her name. How can i make my own icloud account, which will allow me to have my own email, and to keep my information separate?

    Welcome to the Apple community.
    Yes, many families do this.
You can each use your own Apple ID's for iCloud, FaceTime and Messages, but all share the same one for iTunes.

  • Multiple iCloud accounts on one PC, how?

My husband and I both have iPhones and iCloud accounts but I can only install one control panel on my PC. I've tried signing in and and out between the two but I'm not sure this is working correctly is this the best solution? The O2 store said i should set up a separate user account on my PC for my husbands iTunes and iCloud but it won't let me download a second installation. Any suggestions?

To share your purchases and music, you could set up family sharing, and use separate Apple IDs for all other purposes.

  • Multiple iCloud accounts on one Apple/iTunes account??

I'm still learning this iCloud thing. My husband and I each have iPhone and iPads. Our son also has an iPhone. Question is this: can we each have our own iCloud account but all use the one/original Apple/iTunes account? My husband set up his iPhone last night and I got a message on both my iPhone and iPad that he is using it for iMessages and FaceTime. I know this sounds confusing...you see why I need help!
    Thank you!
