Multiple Idocs (DEBMAS06) into one single file

Hi All,
Multiple Idocs(DEBMAS06) are sent from SAP in bulk to be sent to FTP server via XI...(Cannot use Append the file as The structure is with Header,Detail(all the idoc details) and Trailer)
I have seen different threads which speaks about the same,
But Please suggest me the best approach to proceed with this kind of scenario...
Multiple IDocs -> XI -> Flat file which is speaking about BPM and also Packaging(SAP note 814393)
and https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/30ea2fdf-f047-2a10-d3a2-955a634bde6b
(How Tou2026 Send Multiple IDocs Within One XI Message)
I prefer not to use BPM... but if required then....
Please suggest me which is the best approach to proceed with it..
Thanks and Regards,
Sridhar Reddy

Hi ,
I had tried the scenario Multiple IDOC's coming from R/3 and send all of them into a Single File
But it did not work...
Of course i changed as Micahel mentioned in
The specified item was not found.
(Collect and make pack size to 50) but still the idocs are posting as 50 messages in XI and 50 files are being created ...
But as per his remarks we need customization which is very difficult...
And also i checked Michaels blog
The specified item was not found.
But this is dicussing reverse of my scenario...
and finally i am thinking of going with the stefens weblog...
Collecting IDocs without using BPM
Can any one please suggest any other best way to handle this...
Instead of going for BPM i am implementing as Stefen suggested ... This is because we have many such interfaces where SAP sends collective idocs....

  • Multiple projects combined into one .exe file

    Hi there.
    I'm new to Captivate and have a task that is just daunting to
    me. I have a very lengthy CBT which I do not want to build using a
    menu, but rather a continuous string of lessons that prints a
    certificate of completion at the end. I am faced with several large
    file sizes that will not fit in one project (I've kept each project
    less than 55 slides & cleaned up the unused library items).
    However, I need to publish to only one .exe file, and it doesn't
    seem like daisy chain-ing fits my requirement (for just one .exe
    file). Is this even possible, and how do I do this in Captivate3?
    (My Flash skills are nil.)
    Thanks in advance for your reply.

    Welcome to our community, Georgia
    Sorry, but there is no way to consolidate all the files into
    a single file unless you combine them into a huge gnarly project.
    The only option that would seem to make sense is to daisy-chain
    them together, but it seems you have precluded this.
    Cheers... Rick

  • Help!!! I can't save multiple PDF documents into one single PDF!  Need answers!

    Hello!
    I'm trying to save a very large PDF file.  I'm using Adobe Acrobat X Pro.  There are about 200 plus pages and I'm trying to save merged PDF files as one single PDF document.  I've compressed the PDF's as much as I could prior to saving.  For some reason, the process of saving it as a single file takes a long time and usually doesn't work.  Will a higher version of Adobe be faster?  I was told that Adobe X is a 32 bit program and that could be why it's running slow.  I'm unfamiliar with how it all works so I'm hoping someone could offer a simple explanation as to why this is happening and a solution on how to make something as simple as saving a document, go faster.
    Thank you!
    c

    Best to keep the replies in the other post, but I wanted to comment on something you said "I was told that Adobe X is a 32 bit program and that could be why it's running slow." Yes, it's a 32 bit program. No, it's complete nonsense to say that 32 bit programs run slow. There seems to be a general belief that 64 bit is better because, well, because, um, because it's a bigger number so it must be, right? Sorry, I'm not mocking you, but there is such nonsense about this, that I think software makers are having to put a lot of effort into making 64 bit software for no good reason at all.

  • How do I consolidate multiple PDF pages into one iBook file ?

    I have a big test coming up, and I have 600 practice questions saves as PDF's on my iMac.  I tried downloading them through iTunes on my iPad, but it looks like they downloaded as 600 individual iBook files.  Needless to say, it will waste a lot of time opening up and closing each page.
    Is there a way to "consolidate" all 600 of these PDF files, so that they appear as one single iBook file?  I would really like to study by turning the page, instead of being forced to close each file and open a new one 600 times.
    Thanks!

    Good to know -- there is no file format "Adobe Acrobat Reader" and there is no application "Adobe Acrobat Reader".
    The file format PDF is what Acrobat can create and manipulate.
    (Acrobat is a "for pay" desktop application.)
    Adobe Reader ( a free to download, install and use application) can open and let one view PDF files.
    To combine PDF files you would use Acrobat.
    An alternative would be to subscribe to Adobe's online subscription service "PDF Pack".
    Be well...

  • Multiple SSIS Packages into one single package

    Hello All,
    I have created 4 SSIS Packages.
    1st package- To load data from FlatFiles to DB(MasterTable)
    2nd package- split the MasterTable into 2 different tables(ChildTable1, ChildTable2).
    3rd package- join the child table to another mastertable to get an ID column.
    4rd package - Remove the duplicates from childtables and load all the duplicates into another table.
    Is it possible to have them all in a single Package? Which is the best way to develop them in a single
    package?
    Please Help me.
    Thanks, Shyam Reddy.

    Your approach of keeping these logical steps into separate packages suits a situation where you'd want to execute some of these steps ad-hoc or be able to restart from the point of failure onwards if the load fails mid way on a given day. However, if you
    really want to run this flow as a single, end-to-end workflow, you can create a Master package which then calls these 4 child packages in a certain order (using Execute package task). Alternatively, if you'd like to maintain one SSIS package rather than 5,
    you can simply copy individual tasks from each package (Ctr+c, Ctrl+v) into a single package and eliminate the ones you don't need.
    Note that you might have to recreate the connection managers those individual SSIS packages were using after you copy the contents of the packages over to a single one.
    I hope this helps!
    Cheers!

  • Concatenate fields on multiple child rows into one single string

    Hi -
    I'm pretty much new to BI Publisher, and I looked through the forums for what I was trying to do below, but couldn't find much on this.
    Here's my data source:
    <BUSINESSES>
    <BUSINESS>
    <NAME>Microsoft</NAME>
    </BUSINESS>
    <BUSINESS>
    <NAME>Apple</NAME>
    </BUSINESS>
    <BUSINESS>
    <NAME>Google</NAME>
    </BUSINESS>
    <BUSINESS>
    <NAME>Yahoo</NAME>
    </BUSINESS>
    </BUSINESSES>
    What I was trying to do is create a single string from the XML data source in the form
    Microsoft,Apple,Google,Yahoo,............
    Here was my plan to do this:
    1. Create a global variable - <?variable:AllNames;''?>
    2. Loop - For each BUSINESS
    2a. Capture NAME - <?variable@incontext:BusName;'NAME'?>
    2b. Concatenate it to the global variable AllNames - <?variable:AllNames;concat($AllNames,',',$BusName)?>
    3. End Loop
    4. Display global variable - <?$AllNames?>
    I get a blank RTF when I run this.
    Can someone please advice me on this? I thought it would be pretty simple to do, but here i am at the end of the day, and ...
    Thank you.

    There are multiple ways to do it..
    one option of using variable, which i would not certainly do is this :)
    <?xdoxslt:set_variable($_XDOCTX,'TESTTEST’,’’)?>
    <?for-each:/BUSINESSES/BUSINESS?>
    <?position()?>: <?NAME?> <?xdoxslt:set_variable($_XDOCTX,'TESTTEST’,  concat(xdoxslt:get_variable($_XDOCTX,'TESTTEST’),’,’ ,NAME) )?>
    <?end for-each?>
    <?xdoxslt:get_variable($_XDOCTX,'TESTTEST’)?>

    If you have the drivers CD or the LV 6 installation CD, then you could try installing just the traditional DAQ drivers.  I will do a search if I can find them...Good news, I found the drivers that you may need.  Here is the link to download.
    After you install it, look in the vi.lib folder for the DAQ folder and see if you have a dozen
    .llb files. That is where you will find your missing vi's. You may also check into the LV2009 folder to check to
    see if the driver got installed there. I think the driver only gets
    installed for a single version and it might default to the latest at that time (I did not check which one it was).
    In any case, look for the missing VIs in the \National Instruments\LabVIEW 2009\vi.lib\Daq\ folder.  The VIs are contained in the .llb files so you
    can't just search for them through Windows.  Look in the AI.llb file using LabVIEW.
    Here are issues that you may encounter.  The link is to the DAQmx driver (I thought it was for traditional DAQ )

    Although the recommendation in this thread is to use the same LV version and driver as the previous machine, we know it is not your case.  Newer LV version... and maybe the latest Traditional DAQ drivers...  May be worth reading:

  • Concatenate multiple pdf files into one single postscript file

    Hi,
    Could anyone help me with a code to "Concatenate Multiple pdf files into one single postscript file" ?
    Thanks for the help

    Thanks for your reply! Actually the main purpose is to allow user to select multiple pdf documents on a single web page and then he should be able to print all of them at once by hitting the print button on the web page instead of selecting each document seperately to print it. Also he should be able to see all the printing services available to print those documents.

  • How do I scan multiple pages into one pdf file using the PIXMA MG7520 on Windows 8.0? Please help!

    I recently received a PIXMA MG7520 for a gift.  It works great with my lenovo laptop/tablet running on Windos 8.0.  The one drawback to the HP all-in-one that it replaced is it does not have an ADF.  That being said, there must be some way to scan multiple pages into one pdf file.  I need help figuring thing out.  Thanks in advance!
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hi mdtolbert54,
    There is a program that comes with the printer called the IJ Scan Utility that can assist you with scanning multiple pages into a single PDF document.  To do this, please follow these steps:
    1. On your keyboard, press the Windows key.
    2. Start typing IJ SCAN UTILITY. The search window opens as you type. Once the IJ SCAN UTILITY is displayed, please select and open it.
    3. In the Canon IJ Scan Utility window that opens, click SETTINGS.... in the bottom right of the window. The Settings dialog box appears.
    4. Click the DOCUMENT SCAN option on the left pane of the window.
    5. In the SAVE SETTINGS section of the window, you will select the save format and location of the document you are about to scan.
    a.) In the FILE NAME field, specify the name you would like to give the file. By default the filename will begin with IMG; you can remove IMG and change it to whatever you would like to name the file.
    b.) In the DATA FORMAT field, use the drop-down arrow to select the PDF (Multiple Pages) option.
    c.) In the SAVE IN field, please navigate to the area where you would like the file to be saved once it is scanned in. By default, the file will be saved in the MY DOCUMENTS folder.
    6. Once all settings have been selected, click the OK button at the bottom of the window to save the changes. The IJ Scan Utility main screen appears.
    7. Click the DOCUMENT button. Scanning starts. Click the CANCEL button to cancel scanning if needed. Scanned items are saved in previously selected folder location specified in the SETTINGS... window.
    If you find that you need advanced scanning options such as adjusting resolution, brightness, contrast, saturation, color balance, etc. in addition to the options selected above, please click on the SCANGEAR button on the IJ Scan Utility Main screen, then adjust the items as necessary.
    Once the items above are set for document scanning, in the future, you will only need to launch the IJ Scan Utility, then press the DOCUMENT button to perform the scan (unless you want to make changes to the settings).
    Hope this helps!

  • How do I join multiple mp3 files into one mp3 file?

    Hello,
    I have multiple mp3 files that I would like to join into one mp3 file and to use it as an audio book. This explains how to do it, but in iTunes 12, I do not see an option called "Part of a Compilation" option.
    Is there a way to do it in iTunes without installing a new app?
    Thank you.

    Eugene,
    Those instructions, if I read them correctly, are about how to collect several MP3s into a single audiobook.  They will not create a single continuous MP3.
    iTunes does not have the ability to combine multiple MP3s into a single MP3.  The best it can do is if you burn them to audio CD and then rip back with "Join Tracks" enabled.  The better way is to use an audio editor such as Audacity, or a special purpose combing tool such as MP3 Joiner.

  • How do I join multiple (short) audio clips into one single long audio clip in Premiere Pro CS5?

    Hello,
    The question is in the title but I'm wondering how I can join multiple (short) audio clips into one single long audio clip in PP CS5.5.  I put all my short clips right next to each other and selected all of them to see what options are available by right clicking and using the toolbar options at the top.  The closest that I got was to nest the sequence, but that's not what I really want.
    I'd like to merge all the short clips into one single (long) audio file to use under the video.
    Thoughts are welcome and  greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    -Melvin

    O.K. This is kind of fundamental and you will need to learn up on this fully ...but for now...
    Make sure you have the WAB ( work area bar )covering the length of the audio clips. ( You do not need to select them)
    Go to the File Menu> Export Media
    You will be given all the Export Options.  Choose Wave File
    Select option for Export Work Area.
    Choose where to export the file to ( HD location)
    follow your nose from there....
    http://tv.adobe.com/watch/learn-premiere-pro-cs5/exporting-with-adobe-media-encoder/
    BTW - Why are you taking the audio to Audition anyway? What are you going to do to it.
