Multiple Images On Slide

I want to place several images on a slide.
I know how to change the size of an image on a slide but I cannot figure out how to get several images on one slide from the organizer or from images already selected for the slide show.
Is there a trick to this without having to create a new image using the editor?
Thanks,
Ken

I think that you will need to use the Editor to create a new image.
Which version of Photoshop Elements are you running? there MIGHT be some possibilities for laying out a printed page and then using it as a slide. The specifics of this would depend on the version of PSE that you have and it may not be satisfactory because a printed page is different than a screen.
Therefore, if you know how to create a composite/collage image using the Editor, that will probably be the best approach: it has the benefit of giving you more control over placement.

  • How to import multiple images as slides for a history presentation?

I teach college & often want to do slide shows with images from a folder.
    This is possible with Picassa.
I would like to automate the process of importing, say 50 images, from a folder and creating 1 slide per image.
Is there any way to automate or simplify the process.
I know I can do each slide individually, but I'm looking for a way to save time.
    Marc

However, when you drop them, they are out of order. As far as I can figure out, they are on computer order: 100, 1000, 11, 110, or something like that.
I am having the same problem as the other guy. I have to import 300 images into a keynote presentation. Each image on one slide. I have exported the images from iPhoto into a folder, and they are the right size. Now, how do I get them into Keynote in the right order?! Too many to sort by hand, sooo long to add individually. Help!
    Thanks

  • Insert multiple images in one slide and setting dsiplay time for each

    Hi,
    I am using Adobe Captivate4.
I could not able to insert multiple images in one slide and set display time for each image.
    Need help in this regard.

This is not about background image.
I have 3 images and want to insert in one slide only. I could able to insert image1 for first time, but could not able to insert image2 and image3.
I have followed the same steps: Insert Menu>Image.

  • Linking multiple images to one rollover hotspot.  Multiple hotspots on one slide.

Does anyone know if there is a widget or work around or something that will allow me to do this? My job depends on it
    Thanks!

As long as you're not worried about output to HTML5, the Event Handler widget is probably your best bet:
    http://www.infosemantics.com.au/adobe-captivate-widgets/event-handler-interactive
I think what you're probably trying to do is have multiple images appear or disappear when a user mouses over a given hot spot. Is that correct?  If so, then all you really need is a single Event Handler widget attached to a highlight box set to 0% Alpha (to make it act as a transparent hotspot).  You can execute one Advanced Action to SHOW the images via the On Success event set to Roll Over, and a different Advanced Action set to the Roll Out even on the Failure side of the widget to HIDE all the same images.  Set the widget preference to Reset Success Fail Criteria on Action so that you can perform the mouseover and mouseout actions repeatedly.
You can even stack multiple widgets onto a single object, each widget can be set to listen for a different mouse event and do something different depending on what the user does.

  • Is there a way to add multiple images at the same time to Keynote 6.0?

I just brought keynote after searching online about adding multiple images to a presentation all in one go - I couldn't do this on the powerpoint version I was using but there were multiple references on google to being able to do this on keynote. I purchased it and now can't get it to work! Any ideas anyone? Thanks

Do you mean like dragging in multiple images and having one image go on each slide? If so, you just drag the images into the Slide List on the left instead of onto the slide. From this prior post.

  • Cannot select multiple images in iPhoto '08?

What am I doing wrong? I want to select multiple images to either print several on a page, or publish to a gallery, but for the life of me I cannot find a view which shows me all photo thumbnails or all thumbnails in an album or all in an event. I can spin the mousewheel to singly go through them, or I can hit edit and go to full screen where I get a thumbnail bar and can select multiples and view them at the same time, but printing or publishing this selection only recognizes the first photo as selected. If I try to select View>Thumbnails, the subsequent menu options are grayed out, and the top one is "hide" even though I see no thumbnail bar. Is there something very obvious I'm missing, or has something gone awry and I should reinstall?
    <Edited by Host>
    Any one can help them?
    Thanks

There's a slider down right of the iPhoto Window - drag it left.

  • Pasting settings to multiple images in Flimstrip

Hi - this is probably a basic question but I may have missed the "how to."
When I finish adjusting (in the Develop Module) and I click "copy" and select the items I want to copy, then what I want to do is apply (paste) these settings into a number of images.
What I'm doing is then I highlight ("Crtl+Click") several images in the Filmstrip.  Once these images are highlight (filmstrip images highlighted), I then click "Paste" - but the only image that is changed (settings applied) is the first filmstrip image.
How do I select in the filmstrip the images I want to adjust (apply the copied settings) and have the settings applied to all the selected images?
I'm sure this is obvious and there has got to be a way to apply this "recipe" to all the selected images without having to create a collection or do it one-at-a-time.
This is proably the same issue, but when I want to rotate several images (in the Library module), if I select them in the flimstrip, only the first image rotates when I click the clock-wise or counter-clock-wise arrow.  Same issue?  Can this be done in the filmstrip?
    Thanks

Thanks - one would think selecting multiple images in the filmstrip, you could then paste the settings to those selected.  Guess I had better read about Sync.
Yep, it took me a while to figure out that wouldn't work.
And, what is Auto Sync used for?   Lot to learn.
I'm pretty knew to LR, too, but I think this will automatically apply changes to multiple images in real time. So if, for example, you raise the black slider by 5, it will be raised by 5 in all the images you have sync'd.
So, there really isn't any Grid in the Develop Module - you have to switch from Develop to Library, right?
    Right
I've gotten a lot of use out of Scott Kelby's Lightroom 3 for Digital Photographers book. There's a lot of stuff hidden in LR that you'll never figure out on your own.

  • Sharpening multiple images

I thought (maybe I was dreaming) that before the last update I was able to apply sharpening to multiple images. Is there a way to do this? I don't think lift and stamp will do it but is there another way. I've also tried selecting multiple images and then moving the sharpening slider...but to no avail. Thanks...Steven

Lift and stamp wwill do it.
Use the command and option keys to change the cursor to make lift and stamp more usable.

  • Best way to scan multiple images

    Hi there,
I am new tp Photoshop and have a project already that I want to do with Ps, but am unsure of the best way to go abut ahceivng what I want...
I want to scan all my older photo's, crop & straighten them for later use in a slide project done in Permiere Pro.
I was wondering how best to scan them in, do I scan 1 at a time, deal with that then onto the next? or is it beter to scan several of them in one and amd crop each one out of the scan?
The problem I can see with scaning multiple at once, is getting to optimum settings for each image (mix colour and B&W).
Time is not a huge issue, although I can imagine that once I start, I will wan to get it done, but I would prefer to take time for quality results, but is it ideal to scan multibple & if so, would the qulaity be worse doing it in multiple?
    Cheers
    Rossco

Photoshop has a crop and straighen feature, which will divide up multiple images when more than one image is scanned at once. After the images are divided up, then you can use photoshop tools to adjust the color, remove dust, etc. I find using the levels command seams to work just fine for quick color correction. But if you have the chance to use camera raw that would be a better choice since most of your tools are in a single dialog box. Both camera raw and the levels adjustment layer are non-destructive, which means you can change your mind at a latter date.

  • Save adjustments to repeat on multiple images?

Is there a way to save a set of adjustments to repeat on multiple images?  I often scan older slides, and often an entire roll suffers from the same set of lighting color temperature imbalances, faded saturations, sharpening needs, etc.  Having to go through each set of adjustments - color, saturation, sharpening, levels, etc - over and over again - is a pain.  Not to mention if you want all images to have identical post-processing "looks" you need to manually write down the various adjustment levels to get them the same over and over.
Can Elements 12 do this?  I have been using Elements 10 for a while, to tell the truth I updated to 12 "just because" to keep current.  I was kind of hoping they'd have implemented a way to save adjustments by now, but maybe not?
    Todd
P.S.  I am SO tired of software companies completely reshuffling their interface from version to version "just because"....  So far I"m hating elements 12 - nothing appears to have been changed for any functional reason, all to just "look different". Yay.  That's what I care about, how the interface looks - not how it WORKS....

    John101,
    welcome to the Discussion forums.
The Image Adjustment feature works for me on both image placeholders and dragged-in images. Did you "mark" the image, so that small squares appear around it?
Regarding your second question: the problems are solved in 10.4.4 (see http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=1496754&#1496754), so you might consider an upgrade.

  • Preview won't open multiple images

When I open one image in preview, it opens fine. If I open a second image, the first image disappears. If I try and open multiple images at once, the drawer slides out, but it's empty, and again, only one image will show up. Any ideas?

Hello, if you cannot figure out how to fix the issue I have a nice PDF combiner and exporter, you can write in any application, Text Edit, Pages, Word, and export to PDF, combine with this tool.

Download the new version if you like it.

  • Editing multiple images in main window - PSE 9

In PSE 8 I was able to bring up multiple images in the main window to edit simultaneously. In PSE 9 I can't seem to find a way to reduce the image so that I can slide another one alongside it. Any ideas? Thanks.

    Adding to Barbar's comment.
1 .Also to see the images directly choose the "Windows>Tile"  option to see all images at a time.
    2. If this is cluttering your space (if large number of files are opened) then choose the "Arrange Documents Option for 2, 3 or more images. This option is                  located at the top beside the menus or above or below the menus.

  • Bringing in Multiple Images Together?

Hi everybody. Is there any way of bringing in multiple images at the same time into a HTML page in Dreamweaver? I am trying to place about 70 small thumb nails on the same page. At the moment I have to bring them all in, one at a time, which takes forever! If you could just select a folder and bring all the images in that folder in to your page together, ordered as they are in the folder that would be a lot quicker. Thanks for your help.

Copy & paste this code into a new, blank document.  SaveAs gallery_test.php.  Change php code to point to your Gallery/thumbs and Gallery/slides.  If you don't have a local testing server, upload to your remote site to test.

  • Can't get multiple images to come up in browser.

'alt U' ain't working as I assume it is supposed to be working...
Sometimes when I'm working with Aperture I find I can't get the multiple images to come up in the 'Viewer'. All I get is one image.
And the 'alt U' doesn't work.
This is erratic. Sometimes a double click allows me to toggle between single frame and multiple frames view (as one does with iPhoto). Sometimes it doesn't. What am I inadvertently clicking or not clicking that might be causing this?
Clue (perhaps). Right now the resize slider in the lower right corner seems to be working ONLY on the Browser, not on the Viewer. No matter how I've set the 'View Mode'.
And when it's working as I want ... it's working on the Viewer.
    All ears,
    Ben

    Aha!
I answer my own question. One little icon ... up near the top on the left of the viewer\browser, next to drop-down menu titled (custom), a tiny little icon for the 'view mode'.

  • How do I stop iWeb outputting multiple image files? It makes my site slow!

I'm a professional web designer (but don't let that put you off) who uses Dreamweaver and also handcodes HTML & CSS websites at work on a PC, but having got a new Mac for home use I thought I'd give iWeb a go for a personal site hosted on .Mac, showcasing my music and film efforts, that I didn't want to have to think about coding.
I've built a short little site using the attractive 'Travel' theme, just 5 or 6 pages so far, and have not yet added any multimedia content. However, it seemed to take ages to upload it when I published it to .Mac. So then I went to view it, and it was soooo sloooow to download each page, even on my 4mb cable connection. I know it's a fairly graphically-rich theme, but still!
I noticed that it was redrawing the navigation menu each time... and upon close inspection of the HTML code using Safari's 'View Source' to my horror I found out that that each page has a seperate '_files' folder that contains multiple versions of files that are also used in other pages - including navigation buttons and background images. I also saw that every element has styling applied to it 'inline' in the code, rather than in a single seperate style-sheet.
To confirm this I published it to a folder on my hard drive and checked it all out. What a mess!
As a WYSIWYG web page editor iWeb is great but it's an undisputable fact that the HTML markup and CSS code it produces is absolutely appaling. What's worse though is that it also renders whole swaithes of text as images and that it does create seperate folders for each pages content including images, CSS code and navigation buttons - so even though the same images and code are used throughout the site for the background and buttons and layout, they are written out as seperate files and have to be reloaded with every page!!!
This means that the .Mac server must be getting hammered and webpages are very slow to download and slow to render in Safari - it's almost like dialup when I'm viewing my iWebsite, and like I said, I've got a 4mb cable connection!
Looking at the code iWeb produces, it is good to see that tables are not used for layout, and that's one thing in its favour. But surely the whole point of providing 'themed' templates for users is that the same content is used across the site and therefore doesn't need to be created multiple times - one of the benefits of using CSS stylesheets. Why doesn't iWeb create a single stylesheet and make efficient use of repeated images instead of creating multiple instances of the same file for each page?
Perhaps there is a setting somewhere I've missed. If so, let me know someone!
It is a great WYSIWYG editor, but behind the scenes it's not efficient, it's not clean and simple and it's certainly not attractive - and I'm surprised at that coming from Apple! I know iWeb is a great tool for beginners and I'm a picky professional, but if I was Joe Public First Time Web Designer I'd be very annoyed by this.
Clean it up and sort it out Mr Jobs!
PS: Also, where does iWeb store the website whilst it's in production? I can't find it anywhere?

Your iWeb Site is stored not on your iDisk, but on a file named Domain.sites in your ~/Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb/ Folder.
If , for whatever reason, you wipe your HD and/or lose this file (Get a new computer, Re-Install your OS, Stolen Laptop, Crashed HD, Etc.) without backing-up your Domain.sites file then you will have to re-build your iWeb sites from scratch again.
Of course you can edit your Published HTML files in a different program such as Dreamweaver or even Text Edit. You just can't edit Published HTML files in iWeb. Not at this time at least.
Use iWebBackup to backup your Domain file to a Blank CD or DVD. Backing up your Domain file to another folder on your computer is not fully backing it up. If your computer gets stolen you still lost the file but if you have your Domain file burned onto a CD you have a backup!
    Download iWebBackup Here
You can use iWebExtender to automatically consolidate your files into one folder and delete multiple images.
