Multiple Installtion Numbers

Using Windows 2003, SQL 2008 Standard, SAP BO 8.8 Pl12, Licensed for two professional user in a Demo environment. Needed to increase the number for Professional users to 4, requested the new license, it was delivered and installed in the prescribed manner. However the license did not upgrade, Upon review I have discovered multiple (3) installation numbers listed in the license Manager portion of the SAP BO Service Manager. I have deleted the xml file in the SAP Business One Server Tools\license folder, stopped and started the license server numerous times, applied another new license for the "Original" installation number when the system was first created.
Is multiple installation number now acceptable in 8.8, if not, any suggestions on how to remove/reinstall and would this solve m issue of not being able to increase professional users?

Can I attach multiple phone numbers to my iMessage account?

So here's my predicament:
Any time I go travelling somewhere, I like to buy a local SIM card so that I don't have to pay fees for roaming data. The problem is that whenever I insert a new SIM card, iMessage switches to using my new (temporary) number and disconnects from my old (permanent) number. So any new messages I send will either send from this foreign number, or from my email; either one is inconvenient because it tends to start new threads for others in group messages and such. And people who try to iMessage my permanent phone number end up having it fail and then send it as a text message (which I will not receive until I get home and switch my SIM card back).
Is it possible to have multiple phone numbers connected to an iMessage account? (Without resorting to something drastic like buying more iPhones just to have more active numbers.) It seems like something that should be possible, but I can't figure out how to do it.

Multiple asset numbers in Single PR/ PO line item

Hello,
If we enter multiple Asset Numbers in single PR/ PO line item then we get following error message while doing GR -
' Entry 7100000256 00001 not in table XACCOUNTING (system error) '
Message no. M7000
For this PO, in account assignment we have selected 'Distribution' as 'Distribution on quantity basis' and 'Partial Inv' as 'Distribute to following row'
In case of procurement of materials like chair, we are procuring few hundred materials and for each chair we are creating one asset number.
Please help to resolve.

Upload vendor master with multiple phone numbers through LSMW

Hi,
I am trying to upload vendor master data with multiple telephone numbers. I am using BAPI BUS4001 , method SAVEREPLICA . It has allow me add only phone number. Is there any workout to short out this issue?

Multiple automated numbering in the same page

Hi everyone,
I am using InDesign CS4 and am trying to print CD labels with CD numbers on them. Each page has two CD labels on it and I have to serialize them. For example, the first page will have 001 - Disk 1 of 500 and 002 – Disk 2 of 500. The page numbering option can only do one serial number per page. How can I create a multiple automated numbers like that? If InDesign can’t do it, is there any plug-in that can do this?

Ok Nearly did it with a Paragraph Style
You will need to convert the numbering to text and GREP Search
Find
^\b(\d\d\s)
Change To
0$1
But it works, you just need 500 paragraph returns

Contacts with multiple mobile numbers

Hello all,
This is my first post here, so please be patient with me. I searched through previous threads, but did not find an sufficient answer to the problem I am having. To set the stage, I will give you what I am working with
g-mail account with close to 500 contacts
iPhone 5, latest version 6.1.3
MacBook Air, latest version 10.8.3
I have my g-mail account linked to my iPhone as an Exchange connection so that I can view the contacts. I have my computer contacts program connected with Google as well. The problem I am having is that most of these 500 contacts have multiple mobile phone numbers. I am able to create this contact easily in g-mail and can relabel the phone types to match what they are. Let's say for instance:
Name: John Smith
Home: 111-111-1111
Mobile: 222-222-2222
Mobile:333-333-3333
etc.
I have done quite a bit of testing and found that the computer contacts matches up perfectly with whatever I put in there, including multiple mobile numbers. My iPhone on the other hand, does not show the second Mobile number. It will recognize multiple home, work, and pager numbers, but not multiple mobiles (it only shows the first one on the list). Why would it allow multiple numbers of the other types and not mobile numbers?
Is there something I am doing incorrectly, or has Apple overlooked a simple, important function? The things I do not want to do are:
create custom phone labels for my contacts as in mobile1, mobile2 - there are too many and this is an inefficient solution.
change all of the cell numbers to be work numbers - same as above, and what if someone else is updating g-mail contacts and does not follow the rule?
unlink the Google tie I have on the computer - this seems to be the only one of the two that works, and I do not want to have to constantly remember to download an updated contact list. The list changes constantly, and I know I would eventually forget ( I am looking for a poka-yoke here).
Any ideas about solutions?

I have no prblem syncing multiple mobile numbers so I don't think it's a universal issue with iOS. The only difference I see is I am using CardDav instead of using the Exchange option. Have you tried it that way? You can urn off contacts in the Exchange account and add the CardDav account separately.

Could you please provide the SAP note you referred to in your reply? I am also looking for a standard way to accommodate multiple fax numbers per vendor. Currently contemplating output condition technique by purchasing group/vendor combination to enter multiple output condition records, but realize in the most current release of SAP, you have to supply a 'address number' on the output condition record with medium of 2[fax]....previously, you could enter the fax number directly in the output record. I would like to avoid having to create a address record containing fax number that would then be attached to the output record. Any thoughts?

Hello Folks,
I want to handle multiple material numbers as import parameters.. I have tried using table types but having problem while reading the data....
My requirement is user will input say 10 materials , now i need to get all the information for that particular material ..
I am unable to use for all entries as it is saying that it is not internal table... I have found table types which is having sigon , option, low and high fields but user doesn't want it... He wants to enter only materials... Currently am using this MD_T_MATNR(table type)
I am stuck up here..

Hi,
it looks like you are on a good way, just something little is missing. Type MD_T_MATNR is suitable for your issue. I have tried it and probably your problem is that You have to use
SELECT ... FOR ALL ENTRIES IN it_matnr WHERE mara~matnr EQ it_matnr~table_line.
instead of
SELECT ... FOR ALL ENTRIES IN it_matnr WHERE mara~matnr EQ it_matnr~matnr.
In this example I suppose that a name of your variable of type MD_T_MATNR is it_matnr. Problem is that table line is not structure, but data element, therefore You have to use ~table_line instead of ~matnr.

We need also to be able entering hours for multiple personnel through CAT2. Tried using settings u201Center for several personnel nosu201D and u201Cselect via personnel listu201D but did not work .
Any idea how to accomplish both requirements?

Multiple Online Numbers - Only want one forwarded

Hey there, am hoping someone can help with my query re multiple online numbers.
I have one Skype account, and multiple online numbers. One number is for a 'home' number, the other is for a 'business' number. I was hoping to set up call forwarding such that only the 'business' number is directed to my mobile phone. The 'home' number will ring on the computer or go through to voicemail.
Is this possible to setup? I am thinking I may have just spent money for nothing, as I may possibly have to setup a brand new account for my business skype and setup a new online number here as it appears you can only forward all Skype calls, not selectively.

Call Forwarding applies to the Skype Name that is associated with an Online number, not the Online number directly
so if you call forward a Skype Name that has multiple Online numbers associated with it, then calls to any Online number are going to be forwarded, as are incoming Skype calls as well

We have a requirement to build a solution for the following :
Every Business partner may have multiple addresses, and each address may have multiple phone numbers !!
We already have a qualified lookup table to house the multiple addresses but we are stuck at accomdating multiple phone number to each of the addresses !!
Any smart ideas !!?

I got your point .But I guess you are talking about a lookUp Qualified inside a lookup Qualified table which I believe is not possible.But u can nest a lookup Flat table inside a qualified Table.
To your problem I have a different solution.
Let suppose Master record is as shown below:
Id | Name | Home_Add | Business_ADD | Landline | Mobile.
1 | abc | 123 | - | 078821 | 93709.
1 | abc | - | 345 | 080145 | 98932.
Here customer 'abc' have Multiple address like Home address and Business address.And each address has multiple phone numbers like Landline and Mobile.
In this case if you design repository as;
Main Table: ID,Name,Addres_Type
where Address_Type is a LookUp Quaified Field (multivalued)
Qualified Table:Address Type(Non-Qualifier),Landline(Qualifier)and Mobile(Qualifier),Address(Qualifier).
Address Type is a Flat LookUp Table with values Home address and Business Address.
After You Import in Data Manger your record will look like:
Id | Name | Address Type
1 | abc |Home Address;Business Address.
and when you see in Record detail pane for Address Type
you will find values like
Address Type: Home Address.
Landline : 078821
Mobile : 93709.
Address :123
Address Type: Business Address.
Landline : 080145
Mobile : 98932
Address :345

Multiple Fax numbers

Hi Gurus,
Need to know your opinion on this particular situation and whether it is realistic.
Vendor has 3 FAX numbers.
When PO is outputted and Faxed, it should go on one particular number, if that number is busy or fax machine is not responding, then the PO should be outputted on the 2 nd fax number and machine and so on.
Is this possible?

this is not possible.
first thing is that you can maintain multiple fax numbers in a vendor master, but SAP takes only the first one, except you code some own logic in a user exit.
When you create a PO, then the message is determined according to the message determination setup and condition records maintained in your system.
In that moment, just 1 fax number is taken to the message.
after this the message is transferred from the purchasing application to the fax appication.
And only the fax application (transaction SOST) knows if the fax was succesfully sent or not. But the fax application has no option to check any master data for alternative numbers.
the message is in a graphic format, it roughly has the information that the message is to be send by fax using number 12345, no information about a vendor number anymore.

Query for multiple invoice numbers.

My question is if I can add multiple invoice numbers in the search field "invice number"?
For example when I receive a balance confirmation request from a supplier and their list contains 10 invoices. Can I do a search for all 10 at the same time or I can olny do a search one by one?

Hi,
there's no direct possibility to query for multiple Invoice number in terms of entering e.g. 5 number for a query.
But you can work with placeholders '_' and '%' to find multiple invoices at one time. Underscore sign stands
for exactly one character which can have multiple value, percentage sign for multiple ones.
Example (assuming you are using letters and numbers for invoice numbering):
When entering 'A12_' as search String, invoices from 'A120' to 'A12z' would be found.
When using 'A12_01_' all invoices from 'A120010' to 'A12z01z' would be found.
When using 'A12%' all invoices starting with 'A12' - no matter about the rest would be found.
These are only a few examples but i think when using a clever combination of wildcards and parts of the
invoices - which often share a common component, if the invoices come from the same vendor - you'll get
at least a small step farther.
