Multiple layers not working

Please Help! I have created a master (phone) page. I have duplicated it and now want to add elements.
I need to keep these grouped together and want to use a second layer.
The problem is that this layer has accordion widgets, and for some reason they loose their functionality on the second layer.
- this happens in design and preview view as well as on Business catalyst.
- this happens even on a 3rd of 4th layer
- this continues when I merge the two layers
please help!

Hi Kevin,
It may be happening due to any element on the first master blocking the accordion on the second master. If you merge the layers , could you keep the accordion on the top and check if it works or not?

Showing layers not working in 9.3.3

Hi, I have not working pdf file http://db.tt/zdUC1H and problem is, that showing layers doesn't work in acrobat pro extended 9.3.3 but it's actually working in 9.3.1 as well as in acrobat pro 8.
When I enable error console this is what I get

Multiple occurence not working for extended idocs

iam doing file to idoc senario in that multiple occurence is not working for Z segments.
it is extented idoc .
in taht multilpe segments are not creating only one segment is creating
what is the problem

Hi Srikanth,
You should map the node of the target side(the one which you want to occur multple times) to the node of the source side based upon which the target side node has to occur multiple times. For example lets say our source and target side structures are like this:
<Source>
              <Element1>
              <Element2>
              <Element3>
</Source>
<Target>
              <Element1>
              <Element2>
              <Element3>
</Target>
Now if you want Target to occur n times if Source node occurs n times, you should map Target node to the Source node. Even in case you want that Element1 of target side should occur as many times as many times you have Element1 of Source side, you should do the same.

Bug? ajax layers not working.

just installed safari 5. i like the new address feature where we can type the page's title instead of the url. anyway, its a feature that firefox already had quite sometime.
anyway, most pages with ajax is not working, especially those with layers. for example, the template monster search form, the options is not displaying. works fine in firefox though.
is it a bug?

Multiple DHCP on Multiple VLAN not working

Hi there;
In my core network switch, I have multiple VLANs, I have these command to assign to DHCP pools. I configured a port on my core switch for DMZ_VLAN and when I connect my computer to this port, I can get the ip address from the dmz_vlan dhcp pool. Because I assigned an IP address to the interface of vlan 192, then I found that one of my server "192.168.0.100" connection dropped, I cannot ping this server on the dmz VLAN, and it cannot provide the http service as usual until I remove the "interface vlan 192" from the switch. Why? However; without this command, I cannot receive the 192.168.0.0 network IP from the pool.

Sorry for the delay as I got busy with work. If your layer 3 switch is the default gateway for VLAN 192 then the default-router for the DHCP scope should be the IP address of the layer 3 switch interface (192.168.0.254). With that being said, the FW DMZ_192 interface, the switch SVI for VLAN 192 and the DMZ server should all be in the same broadcast domain, thus they should be able to reach each other.
So, can you confirm with me exactly what does not work on the server configured with VLAN 192 and a static IP? For instance,
1. Can you ping the server from the L3 switch
2. Can you ping the server from the FW
3. Can the server ping 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.0.254
4. Can the server ping the outside world? For instance, www.google.com and 4.2.2.2
5. Have you tried taking a test PC, connecting to the switchport configured for VLAN 192 and see if you get an IP address from the DHCP scope

Multiple event not working in interactive report

Hi Experts,
I am developing a interactive report used Set-PFstatus '100' , AT user-command and At line-selection in a single program.
Here At line-selection is not working but at user-command is working fine.
After commenting set-PF ststus '100' event at line selection is working.
Ii want at to use at-user command and at line-selection both to work with set pf-status.
Please help me out.

You can use these events together but in case while
creating your GUI status for your program you have
to give Function Code 'PICK' with F2 short cut key
because for at line selectino double click 'PICK' function
code is trigerred.

LR2 and PS4 - merging to HDR, merge to Panaorama and Edit in Layers not working

Hi,
I've recently upgraded from LR to LR2.1 and Photoshop CS to CS4. I've been trying to multi-select images from LR2 and edit them as HDR and Panoramas using the "Edit in->" merging options.
None of them seem to work. I can see PS CS4 being opened, but then nothing happens. No image is opened or dialog box shown anywhere. Closing PS doesn't prompt for any saving, etc.
I think the problem is because my RAW/DNG files are stored on a NAS. Trying to do the merge from PS directly using the files also doesn't work. But if I copy the files to my local HDD, then things work a lot better.
Is this a known issue with CS4?
iMac, OSX Leopard, 4Gb RAM.

I have done some more tests:
Setting up CS3 as "Additional External Editor" in LR2.1 Edit/Preferences/External Editing works fine with RAW ( .NEF ) files on NAS-drive.
Also CS4 as "Additional External Editor" works the same way. The procedure is the same as when CS3 was the standard editor, ie exporting a TIFF file from LR2.1.
The difference is that the standard CS4 integration is not writing TIFF files från LR, but has a more tight integration to CS4, which is much faster. But still not working when RAW files are on NAS. ( LR catalog files are on local disk ).
Configuration:
Dell dimension 9200
Windows Vista Home Premium ( 32-bit )
D-link DNS-323 NTFS file system
Lightroom 2.1
Photoshop CS4 Extended
Latest updates installed.

Multiple panels not working properly

I've added an additional read less at the bottom of each tab panel on the page.

1. The page opens with the #2 & 3 tabs open, even though they are set to false.
2. The read less function does not work properly with tabs 2 & 3.
I'm new to Spry and .js and pieced this together based on what I could find in the forums.

There are a few problems that I have noticed so far.
Line #1 <!doctype html5> is not recognised, hence the page will revert back to HTML 4.01 Transitoinal. It should read <!doctype html>
Line #51 (links to) style rules should be placed in the <head> element, not in the <body> element
Lines #124, #159 and #188 all link to the same JS file. Delete two of them.
Lines #126, #161 and #207 contain a constructor for the same widget. The former two should be deleted.
Lines #190 and #208 contain a constructor for the same widget. The former should be deleted
Although JS can be placed anywhere in a document, I tend to place all JS at the bottom, just above the ending body tag (</body>) unless the JS is required for rendering purposes in which case it should be placed where it is required. This way, you can keep check of what you have linked to and which constructors you have created thus eliminating the problems mentioned above.
Also you might like to have a look at a collapsible panel group http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/spry/samples/collapsiblepanel/CollapsiblePanelGroupSamp le.html. This will simplify the code somewhat.

Multiple Actions not working for DPS

I've created a box and made it into a button. I've assigned two actions to this button:
If I have both actions checked, it works fine in the preview within InDesign, but does not work on the desktop Content Viewer and it does not work when uploaded to the iPad.
If I uncheck either box, it works well in all scenarios. Any ideas.

No Bob, it does not. It just has two states:
"menorah blank": A white box on the page that is "invisible" since it blends in with the page color.
"menorah popup": A pop up box with the graphics. There is an invisible box (but not within the "menorah" MSO" that sits above the red "x" box to send the "menorah" MSO back to it's blank state. Could this be the problem?
I'be be happy to ftp that single indesign page to you if it would help.

Adjustment layers not working in CS4

I just installed Photoshop CS4 and I can create an adjustment layer, but the editing box for that particular adjustment layer does not come up. It works just fine in CS3 on the same computer. I have a G5 (non Intel). Any ideas why this is not working?

Look at the Adjustments Panel.. new in CS4. Window > Adjustments
There are no dialog boxes anymore.

Multiple screens not working correctly in Leopard!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have used my Apple laptop with an external screen for years through multiple versions of MacOS.
Leopard is the first to really frustrate me!
When I disconnect my external screen (which is my primary screen when attached) all the windows migrate to my MacBook Pro, which is exactly what should happen.
HOWEVER.
When I reconnect my external screen, you would expect one of two things to happen, either the windows would go back to their last 'dual screen' positions (ideal but it has never done this before) or move everything that is on the MacBook Pro primary screen to the new external primary screen, which is what every version of MacOS has done before.
Not Leopard, oh no, it appears to randomly leave applications/windows on either screen, it even leaves the waste bin on the secondary screen some times!!!!!!!!
This is VERY frustrating as I now have to tidy up my desktop before I can start work every time I connect/reconnect my screen!
Is there a setting I am missing or is this a genuine bug?????????

Multiple scenes not working on any computer except my own.

HI everyone,
I try to run a swf or html file of my fla file and it only works on my machine but not on my laptop. I have the latest flash player installed but it still doesn't work. Can anyone advise. My laptop works for single scenes swf and html but not for multiple scene file.

it just sits there and nothing moves or comes on when I hit the play button in my application. I have tried running a swf file through firefox and an html publications of my file but they don't seem to work on my lap top except for on the original computer I created the app on.

Multiple apps not working after iTunes 6 install

ITunes 6.0 and QuickTime 7.0.3 were installed by Automatic Software update. Since then multiple apps including Safari, Mail, and all Dashboard Clients. At first System Preferences was working but has since stopped. All seem to start up but stop after just a couple seconds with the message "The application XXX quit unexpectedly" I have run Disk Utilities Repair Disk Permissions and Repair Disk, from the hard drive and Install DVD. I can't find all the preference files (for Safari and Mail at least). What to do next?

I second this problem. Although I'm not sure what it relates to (if it's the download of iTunes 6.0, or something else), I too am experiencing problems with many different applications quitting unexpectedly. The problem was initially seen when I inserted a DVD to watch, and DVD Player quit. I thought that there might be some new software I could download (which there was... DVD player 4.6), so I downloaded the new software, but the installation application kept quitting. Also, "Software Update" quits unexpectedly, which I found when I tried up update to Mac OS X (10.4.2) from simple 10.4 using that application.
To Steven - sorry that I cannot offer any advice, but can only share with you in your question of What to do next.

Adjustment layers not working in CMYK MODE?

I have a photoshop issue and was wondering if you could shed any light on the matter?
When ever i set my document to CMYK mode, some of my adjustment layers become 'un-selectable' such as the Black & White, vibrance and the exposure adjustment layers?
They work fine in RGB mode but was curious if this was common place?
Any information woould be greatful

I am working in cmyk as the poster i am producing is for print, so the document is put into that mode for that purpose.
If you are using/combining photographic images this approach may not be ideal and incurs the risk of overshooting the TAC.
On the other hand if you have lots of text, fine lines or other elements that are supposed to, for example, print in pure black working in CMYK would be called for.

Editing Adjustment Layers Not Working

Using Photoshop Elements 10. I am unable to edit an Adjustment Layer. When I doubleclick the layer thumbnail or click layer content options, nothing happens. This is the case with new files as well as files that had adjustment layers created with Photoshop Elements 6. Fill layers work ok, but adjustment layers such as Levels and Hue/Saturation won't work....need help desperately.

Good evening. I am using PSE 11 Mac version and I am having the same issue as the original post. I am unable to edit adjustment layers. No problem with fill layers.
I have tried your solution, which worked on deleting the file, but PSE 11 is still not letting me do anything with the adjustment layers.
As an FYI, I am also unable to select any of the "Window" menu selections, such as "Actions", "Histogram", etc. I am attaching a quick screen capture to show the menue that I am talking about.
Any help with this is greatly appreciated. Thank you all.
