Flash Access differs from WMDRM/PlayReady in the way licenses are acquired. With Flash Access, the DRMManager.loadVoucher() API is used to retrieve a license. There is no need to specify a Key/Content/License ID; the only data required is the content's metadata (DRMContentData), which contains all the information needed by the client and server to issue/use the correct license.

To answer your original question - yes, you can encrypt multiple content using the same Content-Encryption-Key, and also the same License-ID (See our Java API). By doing this, your client can download a single license, and all encrypted content you have can utilize the same license to playback video. However, your workflow will be the exact same (acquire metadata, call DRMManager.loadVoucher(), call NetStream.play()), so you won't really notice any difference between using the same CEK or LicenseID.

Set up After Effects CS 6 for network rendering with only a single license.

I have searched on and off a couple of days to find specific setup instructions for submitting projects to network rendering but all I can find refers to somehow installing AE on several machines in a non-license mode and, essentially, submitting a "batch" type job that get distributed, sync'd and collected. OK, I get this. But I find nothing on the details of installing on several machines.
So assuming I understand things to this point, the question is really how do you install multiple AE6 copies to systems with only a single license? I have a single license key with a CS 6 Premium Suite and would expect that I wouldn't be able to get past Activation after installing or am afraid of trying lest Adobe think I'm attempting to circumvent licensing.

Have no fear. Just do it. There's no risk to trying to install software on as many machines as you like. Even in the cases in which you only have a license to use our software on two machines, the worst thing that happens is that you are told to deactivate on one computer before activating on another.

You have highlighted all of the differences in the list of bullet points. Centralized billing administration and billing is also part of it. If a student or teacher leaves the school you can switch the Seat to a new student or teacher. Also one Administrator can handle all of the payment removing the need to enter credit card information multiple times for each student or teacher.

How does a "single license" work?

With some products (Microsoft Office comes to mind) the single license gives you 1 desktop and 1 "portable". This is my situation, so if this is the case, I can buy single. If not, I guess it's family. What's the licensing scheme?
Also, does it "authenticate" such that a change to a new computer in the future leads to hassle to re-authenticate (a la MSOffice)? Or is it just whether the software recognizes the key?

Moving a single license app to Pro

Hi all,
Hoping someone can give me an idea on the following:
Situation
We have a magazine app published in the app store. The app has been created with the Adobe single license. The app is a paid for app, but obviously can't support subscriptions. We intend to upgrade to the Pro license to enable quarterly editions of the magazine.
Questions
Is it possible to move the single app into the pro app so it becomes an folio?
Can we carry over the data to enable those that have purchased the single app to access it within the pro app?

Hmm, good question. Updating the app is easy: replace the app in the store with a new version that was based on Pro, with multi-issue support. People who have already paid for and downloaded it will get an update that changes it to the multi-issue version.
The bigger challenge is entitling the previous purchasers to the issue that was previously bundled into the single edition app. I can't think of any way to do that for your previous paid users since you have no idea who they are. Honestly I would say don't worry about it and just make the issue that was previously included in the Single Edition app as free to all of your users, even ones that didn't pay for the older version of the app. In the grand scheme of things it likely won't cost you very much, provides your potential subscribers/purchasers with sample content, and is zero hassle for you

A ccording to New End User License Agreement, You can install any Adobe License be it CC or CS6, on two machines.
Which means your CC can be active on two machine at a time, but you can not use both machine at the same time.

I'm creating a budget for my office. I know that for Adobe Creative Suite, a single license can be installed on two machines. For example, I have a tower in my office, but I also have a laptop for moving around, and I'm allowed to install that single instance/license of Adobe CS5 on both machines, legally.

Purchase single license of Photoshop for Business

In my business we are 2 people who need to use Photoshop from time to time. But if we are to buy a single license for Photoshop, we are required to fill in credit card details for puchase. This does not work for us, since the business needs to get an invoice. But when looking at the offers for business customers, it looks like we can only purchase a "full package", something we don't need. We only need Photoshop. Single license, new Mac?

I may have to replace my G5, I'm hoping the problem is a bad power supply, but if it's the logic board . . . My question: Will I run into any issues if I install CS3 on a replacement Mac? It is, of course, a single license, and I've only installed it once, no needs for a reinstall due to performance issues.

eBay also sell those license, or u can purchase them straight off microsoft after installing micrsoft office. But there are free MS Office alternative like Libreoffice mentioned.
But my favourite one is OpenOffice... it supports 64 bits and its open source which means there are free upgrades and extensions availble to download for specific need.
