Multiple log-ins required

Hopefully it's just something I'm doing wrong BUT, after I
log into Connect if I click on 'Meetings' I'm asked to log in
again, then if I click on 'Shared Meetings' I'm asked to log in
again, then if I click on 'User Meetings' I need to log in again
etc, etc.
Any assistance or (even acknowledgement that this is the way
it is so I can get an Rx for Valium or Thorazine) would be
appreciated.

Try changing your password, you may be having a conflict
between your full account and your old trial account.

Single user, multiple log-ins?

I was shutting down my system the other day when I got a message from the system asking for my password because multiple users were logged in. I found this interesting because I am the only user on my computer, so I popped open a terminal and ran "users" and it showed that I was logged in twice. It currently shows that I am logged in twice. I recently started switching to systemd and I also upgraded to gnome 3.4. Does anybody have any insights into this?

How can I set up my Mac Pro so that my wife and I can use our separate iTunes accounts? I keep getting an error message that the computer is already associated with an Apple ID even though the two accounts are associated with separate log ins!

I'm getting very confused with setting up multiple user accounts on my Mac Pro for my wife and I. We each have a separate iTunes account, and we want to keep our music libraries seaprate. I've set up two user accounts on the Mac Pro and I have my iTunes authorised and logged into my user account on my user account. Under my wifes user account (i.e. a separate log in on the computer) I'm trying to set up her iTunes account, but I can't download or play anything from the cloud - it just says "This computer is already associated with another iTunes Account" and tells me that if I 'transfer' then I won't be able to use the other one for 90 days! This is really annoying as my wife can't access music she has purchased on her iTunes account on the home machine. We're not trying to do anything dodgy, just access our music on our own accounts on separate log ins on the same machine. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi Allan, thanks for that. I've already set up a log in for my wife and that is all working fine. The problem is that when she logs in and opens iTunes and trys to associate her library with her iTunes account she gets the error message "This computer is already associated with another iTunes account". Whilst this is true, the computer is associated with my iTunes account under my separate log in, which should have nothing to do with hers. If she transfers the association to her account it will lock me out of my content on my log in for 90 days - I'm trying to work out how to associate each of the log in accounts with a separate iTunes account so we can access our music independently of one another without locking each other out. Hope that makes sense!

Cols getting added to Table:With user log-ins

I have a table in Oracle 11g database for application reporting purpose, as per design whenever a specific user log-ins, columns gets added in the table
and its growing col wise.
Is there any better way to handel that?Pls suggest.

Hi,
You have specified that what is happening in your current application. But you have not specified what actually you are looking for. As other forums members stated you must follow them, Since over a period of time or in weeks your application will since you can extend columns for same table - since there exists some limit for that.
So, If I analyze your requirement you would like to peform the auditing of the use logins. Then what logic you have implemented try to modify a little bit , instead of dynamically adding the columns - insert the rows in to the table.
That way you can figure out, when and what time specific users are logged in - making history for your users login session times.
Note - Try to elaborate your requirement / problems, other it is little difficult for us to understand.

I bought a 17" MacBook Pro running OS 10.6.1 last week. In all the other Mac computers I've had, I only needed to log in once to web sites that require user names and passwords, like Netflix, and check the box that said something like "Remember Me." The next time I opened the computer, I would go directly to the home page without having to log in. With this new computer, I need to log in to all of these sites every time I start the computer. I've searched the System Preferences for some adjustment that would not make this necessary but have found nothing applicable. Have I perhaps missed something?

From the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari / Preferences and select the AutoFill tab.
Where you see: Usernames and Passwords. Make sure that box is checked. The next time you visit a site that requires the login information you will be asked to save it. Click Yes. That username and password will be saved to the Mac OS X Keychain Access application. (Applications / Utilities).

Load the library which doesn't contain the songs and drag them into the open iTunes application window. If you need to move them between different computer user accounts, put them into /Users/Shared/.

They can, but not at the same time.
If one user left iTunes running, and another user tries to use iTunes from a different Windows user ID, that second user will get an error message. If they really want to use iTunes, they either have to beg the first user to log in and close iTunes, or else they have to restart the computer.
If you are asking the technical reason why, it is something about context switching.

This common login is supposed to be one reason why Adobe can't implement NNTP. But what function does it serve? I've commented in another thread, and below is more or less, what i said there...
That, i think, was the most assinine idea anyone ever came up with. I see no reason for not having separate log ins for store and forums / downloads. In fact, i can't think of one good reason to combine the two.
If i were a user of the Adobe store, i would definitely prefer to have a separate login and password for that area. I think most people would. I see a lot of aliases in the forums. In the store, you'd want to use your real name for tax and audit purposes. Moreover, what's to stop people creating two identities anyway? So, the whole purpose of a common id is meaningless.
Am sure, that even at this stage, it wouldn't be too difficult to separate the two. For instance, whenever i open the forums i see a welcome at the top of the screen. Right above 'Home'. Yet, i still have to login to the forums... what give? Idiotic.
Adding to the above, doing away with this single log in would also mean an end to this frustration of suddenly getting logged off, randomly staying logged in, etc., etc.

Typed input on log ins, search commands are barely visible - not crisp black print. How do I fix?

I have a Windows 7 HP desk top - rather new and functioning well. My email is free from AOL - Internet connection is AT&T. In logging on to the email account it is the typical user name/password process. When I now click on email log in or other log ins - the log in data entry space caret is barely visible and the typing I enter is barely visible, but when the entry data is correct my log in is accepted. And in all my Bookmarks only the icons are visible until I rest my mouse pointer on the icon. Some time (don't know how much time) before I noticed the problem I was browsing through the display and personalization sections under the control panel. I made no lasting display changes but did review some alternative before deciding not to change anything. Perhaps it is a simple change in the font color that needs attention - but I haven't been able to figure out how to do that in what I see in the Firefox Tool Bars . That is not always a mistake. There are cases where it makes sense to do both (i.e., to import both '*' and a specific class name from that package at the same time). I believe the common example is:
