Multiple maintenance items load in maintenance plan

Hello Gurus,
I want to load multiple maintenance item into a single plan. is it possible by LSMW ? if yes, then we need to creat the first plan and use change mode with same plan to load other maintenance items ?

You could also use IBIP transaction to load the MP with all the Maintenance item.The help on that transaction is self explanatory.

How to set start of cycle/next planned date at the Maintenance Item level??

Hi All,
We are uploading a bulk of Strategy Maintenance Plans into the system. Each plan has multiple maintenance items and each maintenance item in a plan having different next due dates. Now if we set the Start of cycle at the Maintenance Plan level, then the next due dates of the maintenance items in that plan would be calculated on the basis on Start of Cycle (Common for all) and frequency as set in MPackages in an item Task list. Since each Maintenance item may have different Frequency and next due date, generating a call object while scheduling the plan correctly to satisfy at the Maintenance item level is not seeming possible.
Can someone please suggest as to how do I set the Start of cycle or say Next Planned Date or Last Scheduled date at the Maintenance Item level either through configuration or programmatically.We are working on an SAP 4.6C version.It is urgent!!!

i think specifying start of the cycle for each maintenance level is not possible ,since start of the cycle refers to maintenance plan only .

it is better to create one maintenance item per maintenance plan,if you want to control each maintenance item independently

Multiple tasklist on single maintenance item

Hi gurus,
How can I attach multiple task list to a maintenance Item.
- I want to attach a general task list and a equipment/functional location tasklist to a equipment/functional locations in a maintenance Items
- Is there any way to attach permit to maintenance task list / plan ??

Hello,
You need to create the two maintenance item for the assignment of equipment task list & General Task List and assign it to One maintenance plan.Or You can Use The Object List Tab in aintenance Item Where you can assign the more than one Equipment for One maintenace Item having the Equipment Task List or general Task List.
Maintenace Object List-->You can assign several technical objects to a maintenance item. The maintenance operations that you define for a maintenance item, using the link to a maintenance task list, are due for all the technical objects assigned.
Use of Permit in Task List & Plan not possible as per my knowledge.

BI content for Maintenance Plan and Maintenance Item

Dear community,
we use in OLTP the transaction IP06 (Maintenance Item) and IP03 (Maintenance Plan) in module PM.
Can anyone tell me the matching BI content in BW system 7.0 to import most of those fields from ERP?
Not only master data, also transaction data (e.g. like scheduling list).
I've already searched help.sap.com but didn't find a matching datasource.

I've already run a systemtrace to find out the tables:
The following tables are involved: MPOS, MMPT, MPLA and MHIO, MHIS.
In BI-Content I just find MPOS in the DataSource 0PM_MAINTPOS_ATTR and 0PM_MAINTPOS_TEXT. That is ok for master data.
The other tables I couldn't find in BI-Content.
But maybe the BI-Content does not use these tables. Maybe there is used a view which I don't see in the trace.

Maintenance Item assignment to a Maintenance Plan

Dear Expert,
we need some help about the following scenario.
Currently we are working on preventive maintenance in SAP ECC 6.0 system. We have created several maintenance items without assignment to maintenance plans in order to use them like models: to make quickly the creation of a maintenance plan our users can choose the suitable maintenance item from a range.
In these items we have inserted only strategy and maintenance task list but we have not insert the technical object.
We carry out the following steps:
1. we run transaction IP42;
2. we insert the maintenance category and the strategy;
3. in the tab "Item" we press the button "Assign more items";
4. system runs report RIMPOS00 (Display Maintenance Item: Selection Criteria) in order to select the item to insert in the maintenance plan. In this screen the followin fields are locked (we can not change them):
- "Maint. plan cat.";
- "Maintenance strategy";
- "MaintPlan assignment" and the radio botton is set on "without".
In this way if a maintenance item has been already assigned to a maintenance plan users can not select it for the current plan.
In your opinion could we open the radio buttons for the field "MaintPlan assignment" ? Could anyone help us ?

Plant Maintenance and Customer Service..Maintenance Plans, Work Centers, Task Lists and PRTs..
Maintenance Plans..Set List Editing for Maintenance Items
After clicking on Execute button u will get a pop up " Customising list editing "Double click on selection do the changes & save.
It will work i think.

How can I control the order types that can be assign to maitenance plans?
The maintenance items to default orders types is one thing, maintenance items to order types is another thing!
In witch customizing tasks allow me to manage the order types that can be assign to plans?

Order type control to Maintenance Plant is at node OIOD.
You can Define Default Order Types for Maintenance Items under
Functions and Settings for Order Types node at SPRO.

Multiple PR doc type for Maintenance order - Non stock item category

For non-stock item requirement in PM, we create a maintenance order and indicate item category as "N" in components tab. Accordingly a purchase requisition is created as per configuration. We have assigned PR doc. Type “FO – Framework requisition” for Maintenance Order Category.
SPRO - PLANT MAINTENANCE & CS - Maintenance and Service Processing - Maintenance and Service Orders - General Data - Define Account Assignment Cat. and Document Type for Purchase Requisitions
Now according to the new requirement, we need to have different PR Doc type as per CONTROL KEY mentioned in the Maintenance Order.
Example:
If the Control Key is “PM01 - Plant maintenance – internal” the purchase requisition document type should be “NB – Purchase Requisition”. If the Control Key is “PM03 - Plant maintenance-External(services)” the purchase requisition document type should be “FO – Framework Requisition”.
Please advise how to configure the same.

This is a simple enhancement. In our scenario, we had configured PR document type "FO" in SPRO settings for "Document Type for Purchase Requisitions".
Hence to have "NB" PR document type whenever material components are being indented through maintenance order, we used this enhancement COZF0002
Please instruct your abaper to add similar logic, as shown below.
Enhancement:COZF0002
Functional module:EXIT_SAPLCOZF_002
Include: ZXCOZU02
Logic:

Add Revision Field to Maintenance Item

Hi,
We are planning to add the Revision Field to the maintenance item screen so it can be used in maintenance planning. The idea is that we create a bunch of dateless revisions that represent weeks in an annual shut. We know roughly what orders should be exectued in what sequence for the shut, so we can assign them to say ASWK1 (annual shut week 1). However, we don't know what week the shut is going to happen each year as it can change (hence the dateless revision buckets).
We then add that revision to the maintenance item when the order is planned, so when the orders are generated the planner can filter by the work that needs to be done in the first week of the shut and so forth.
We will also have another set of revisions with acutal dates each year, so then planner will then change the dateless revision to the one with actual dates on it once the shut dates are known.
Does anyone see any problems with this or know of another way to achieve the same result without customising the Maintenance item screen?

Is this a business requirment to create the Maintenance order?
Because once the Maintenace order is generated your capacities are booked and if any component is assigned is also reserved.
What i think ,create the notification from plan and as and when required change the notification to maintenance orders when the shutdown dates are known and assign the revision .

I'm not talking here about adding attachment to maintenance plan itself...

Grzegorz,
You should be able to paste the same , as long as you are not concerned about the formatting. If formatting is of importance,you will have to manually format the contents as only limited formatting is supported by long text editor in SAP.

Hi,
use the following steps to find a BAPI for any transaction
1.Open transaction SE24.
2.Now open the object CL_EXITHANDLER in display mode.
3.Go to the method tab and double click on the method GET_INSTANCE.
4.Put a break point on cl_exithandler=>get_class_name_by_interface.
5.Now execute the transaction you want to find BAPI for, it will take you to the above method.
6.Write EXIT_HANDLER in fieldnames and hit enter, it will tell you the BAPI used for your transaction.
7.Hit F8 and it will tell you all the BAPIu2019s for your transaction.

Query to Display Settlement Receivers for Maintenance Items

I am looking for a way to get a query/list display that shows me our maintenance plans, maintenance items and the settlement receiver. Looked in all the obvious spots and the actual receiver is not available. In the maintenance plan you can get the field that tells you there is a settlement rule but not the actual receiver. In the order list display you cannot get the information either.
Has anyone had this requirement and if so, what may have been the solution.

The Settlement Rules are saved in the tables COBRA & COBRB. Get your Maintenance Plan Object Number from table MPOS and join on the field OBJNR using an SAP Query.
(SQVI or SQ00)
Also, note that these will be copied to the created Orders and the actual settlement only happens for the Orders. The settlement rule of the Maintenance Item is only a template, no actuals are involved.

Can Maintenance items be deactivated or marked for deletion

Hi,
Got a requirement for mass deletion of maintenance items in SAP. Version is 4.6C.
However could not find a function within Maintenance items to delete tehm or any transaction code to delete them as in case of maintenance plans.
Can someone please let me know if this is possible.

You can create using the standard object for maintenance plan itself. you need to define 2 sources fields ,like maintenance plan and maintenance item and assign the corresponding fields to the same .also you need to create 2 files and specify the same . then try it

Select All in Object List Maintenance Item

Hi fellow SAP users,
Does anyone know if it is possible to select all equipments/flocs at once in the object list of Maintenance Item. I have to delete several Object Lists and some of them contain over 300 entries. Till know I didn't come any further then selecting them one by one before deleting. A very time consuming job. Furthermore I want to write a script for this in Innowera, but then the selecting one by one becomes an issue.
I would greatly appreciate your help.
