Multiple malfunctions on my iPad mini

My iPad mini has taken on a life of its own. Apps open and close on their own, components of games either move on their own or lock and won't move at all, (i.e. jigsaw puzzle pieces in Magic Puzzle app spin and move in and out of puzzle area without any touch to the screen). The device is nearly unusable. It has 56.6 GB of memory and 19.8 available. The system is current; no updates are available. How do I fix this?

sounds like a physical defect to the touch layer which activates a click in places on the screen even though non is being done
If restarting it does not work I would suspect a repair is the only cure

Thanks for your response, that's exactly what I thought the + sign was for but I've tried that and when I do it completely closes out safari. I did some other research and it seems to be happening to others also. So not sure what to do now or how I can get multiple tabs opened just like you can on the iPhones.

Maybe a reset would help, to be followed by trying the recovery again.
To reset, hold the on/off and home buttons together for about 10 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Then do the recovery.
If this doesn't solve it, I recommend visiting an Authorized Apple Service Center.

If you are getting the blank app update screen, many people are having this problem over the last couple of days.
According to Fly150 in another discussion, this will work.
If you want to update the Apps while waiting for Apple to fix Updates:
1. Go to App Store
2. Select Purchased
3. Select All
4. Scroll down to find the Apps showing update
5. Select update on the Apps
This should update the Apps and get rid of the update count in App Store. Apple needs to fix this. It is a workaround only until then.

How to sync and charge multiple iPad Minis?

My family has 5 iPad Minis and 3 iPhones (2x 4s and 1x 4), and I have been looking for a better way to manage these devices. I have a solution for everything but the USB hub. My computer only charges the first two plugged in, although it will allow me to sync all at one time. I'm looking for a way to charge and sync them all at once. I've been looking for a powered usb hub that will accomplish this, but so far, I'm not having much success. Everything under $500 I've come across says they won't charge iPads (or more than 2). However, I noticed somewhere that iPad mini only requires 1.0 A vs the 2.1A for the iPad. Is this true? If so, does anyone have any experience with powering and syncing multiple iPads, and if so, what device did you use?

You can connect multiple, but the ipad is limited to playback on a single device.
There are methods to add splitters with additional bluetooth broadcasters to achieve what you want, but it is not an inexpensive option.
Itunes on a computer does offer multiple speaker options.

For sharing/downloading convenience, all of these are linked to one apple ID. iMessage and FaceTime were working flowlessly when we set it up. Yes, there was a problem initially where some devices were receiving someone else's texts, but they were resolved when I went to Settings and chose a specific # or email address for each DEVICE (so there's no overlapping)
All of a sudden, my daughter's Ipod Touch 4th Gen started having problems sending messges. Sending bar will go up to the end then stop right before it gets completely full--end result, message not delivered. I tried to facetime her, but nothing happens. Sometimes when I try facetiming ipod touch 4th, I'd get an error message '____ is not available for FaceTime'
I've confirmed the email address associated with ipod Touch 4 has been added and verified under my apple ID. I've tried restoring the iPod in iTunes, hard resetting the unit, turning off and on iMessage/FaceTime... and still doesn't work.

We're screwwwwwed! Not THAT familiar to apple, just barely plugging along and dove in with two ipads and two ipod touches. Previous experience was just two ipods (160 GB) that I had to still rotate audio books out of every few months... well, for me. My wife doesn't use hers as much. ANYWAY, I lost a zillion things with the ipod classic since it didn't have a back-up option and many of the CDs I scrounged up when it first came out were already lucky to have survived college. 8 years later and the computer that had the original files had been replaced umpteen times. ipods failed and decided to quit being a tight wad. You should be able to reset it using the instructions on the page that you posted. If when you connect it to your computer's iTunes you get a prompt to enter the passcode, then use the instructions in the second half of that page, under the 'If you have never synced your device with iTunes, or you do not have access to a computer' heading

It's been two week since my iPad mini keeps blacking out on me, I've shared my issue earlier to the community before and got some tips on what to do. So I followed and still no results on the issue of my iPad mini blacking out. Deleted apps that I thought might have caused it to keep crashing, Now I've already restored my iPad mini an still have the same issue with it. What to do? Replace?

The Mondo hub shows an output of 4A. If you have 28 devices plugged into it, it will provide less than 143mA per port (probably less because the device itself uses some power).
That is a LOT less than what is required to charge iPad minis which need at least 1A. In fact, it is a lot less than you need for most standard USB devices, which assume 500mA for a standard port. Hubs like this are not made to provide charge current, but this one has so little that, with more than 8 devices, even syncing might fail spectacularly because it is so underpowered.
For the kind of application you want, you should really get something more professional, such as the hubs sold by Datamation Systems. Just look them up on-line. I think some are even available on Amazon, but they have other choices that may not be there. They are more expensive but they assure 2.1A and the right kind of sync current for every port, which is enough for iPads as well.

IPad mini original: multiple game apps not launching

I have an iPad mini (original) for 14 months that i solely use to game. In the last week, most of my game apps (King games & Disney) are not launching. I open them; they look like they're going to open but then disappear. I find it minimized and running in the background. Tap it again and the app relaunches, and the same thing happens again. Never had a problem before but now about 6 apps are all acting up the same way. I have tons of storage space and updated the games so not sure what's wrong. Really reluctant to delete the apps and lose my advanced levels. Help please.

Try to force quit the apps. and you can also reset your iPad
Reset
Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds. When you see the silver apple, let go and let it reboot. No data will be lost.
Force close an app
Double tap the home button. When you see the app previews on the screen scroll sideways if needed to get the preview in question on the screen. Flick that preview up and off the screen to close the app. Single tap the home button or home screen preview to exit the mode.
