Multiple monitors - P6 PRO application is a published app through Citrix.

We require the ability to spread the P6 Pro client application across multiple monitors. This is no issue for a local P6 client install but CSX is a Citrix shop with P6 pro published as an application through Citrix, not locally. Our current Citrix configuration doesn't allow for maximizing BOTH monitors, only 1 monitor will work.

Out of the box the palm is able to sync to two software packages Palm Desktop and Microsoft Outlook.
Using Outlook you can set up multiple palm profiles that can sync to the same Outlook profile and have the Outlook profile controlled by the server, this way you can add data to the server and it will port over to Outlook.
Outlook would be set up normally "set up to connect to a server" and then when the palm desktop is installed and set to sync to Outlook all the Palm profiles will sync the Outlook data.
As far as network syncing it is just another way to get to the same data as apposed to using the direct cable method.

Depending on what model of MacBook Pro you have, you will need the correct adapter for its video out port. Also, the other end of the adapter would need to fit whatever video in port your TV has. So for example the most recent MacBook Pro has Thunderbolt for video out and your TV might use HDMI video. See the specifications on this page for the MacBook Pro -

HDMI bad resolution on second monitor macbook pro retina

I just bought a second monitor for my macbook pro retina and connected it through a HDMI cable. To my surprise it did not play the full resolution it only plays 1360 x 768....
I already tried the alt trick when showing display preferences, but no win either. Can anyone please help? Thanks.

I´m desperate; I´ve a color critical work to finish and my Eizo CG241W isn´t detected by my Macbook Pro 15" 2,33.
I started with this problem some days ago with Leopard. I changed to Snow Leopard. I clean my system from small software possible conflicts. I reset Pram, I clean my electric system too (new UPS also)...what else can I doooooooo ,-C
It´s a bug? It´s electrical problem? What?
My Mac is ok. The hardware test is ok; the permissions are fine, the USB and video ports seems working fine. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh!!!!! Whats wrooong!!!

Your point is valid but I´ve nothing to test this cable; no other device to do it, no other setup.
I did another kind of test (apart from everything else I´ve tried):
The monitor has two video ports DVI-I - one for digital and another for analogue connections (like I used with my old G4-not anymore)
I´ve tried that other analogue connection (ANOTHER supplied Eizo cable on a different monitor connector port) with the Apple DVI to VGA adapter for the Mac and it works. But the resolution is weird/stretched so I can´t work with it.
This tells me that maybe there´s a problem with the digital cable I used all this time?
Or could it be the digital monitor connection port?
I´m a bit confused.
How does a cable, never moved (I almost never disconnected my Macbook Pro), allways working can be damaged?
2 years of use?
Electric problem?
The cable looks brand new as on the first day.
How does a connection port became damaged? Electric fluctuation? I´ve an UPS device for protection.

How do you know they are being sent 15 times? Have you logged onto the Google mail web interface and checked to see if that one email is showing up 15 times? Did you address it to more then one person?

Dual monitor - Macbook Pro

Hi.
I am really enjoying my Mac with an additional monitor. However, under some conditions, such as using a graphic application, it would be better to have the external monitor to be the main monitor. I have not found anywhere a setting that would allow this. Is this by design or is there a way to get the bigger monitor to be the main monitor regardless of the application.

Yes, there is a way to do this. If you open Display Preferences, under the arrangement tab you will see that there is a small representation of the menu bar showing on the MBP's LCD screen. Click on and drag the little menu bar to the other display and it will become the "primary" one.

New 13" Macbook Pro trying to connect to a Panasonic VIERA TC-L42U30 as second monitor. I've used multiple hdmi-thunderbolt/mini displayport adapters and multiple hdmi cables and still no success. The Macbook does not sense the second monitor (TV). Help?!

I've been a Mac since 2008, so I know my way around the system pretty well. This issue, however, has me stumped. I had an iMac until now and only now am I experiencing some difficulty with my new MacBook Pro. The model I have is the newest 13" Macbook Pro model and I'm trying to connect a Panasonic VIERA TC-L42U30 42" HDTV as a second monitor via the Thunderbolt port.
It worked the first two times and hasn't worked since, after 10-15 attempts with different configurations, turning things on n off, restarting the mac, unplugging the cables, adapters, TV, resetting the P RAM, etc... I've used multiple hdmi-thunderbolt/mini displayport adapters and multiple hdmi cables and still no success. No matter what I do, the Macbook does not sense the TV as a second monitor anymore.
I took the MacBook Pro to the Apple Store, and their "genius" there had it working fine with a DVI connection to a regular monitor. The Panasonic TV I have has HDMI connections and one VGA connection which does not support HD, but no DVI option. I want an HD connection to mirror or extend my MacBook Pro screen. At the Apple Store, they didn't have a Thunderbolt/Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter, so he could not try that out for me.
Anyone else have this configuration or another similar one with a Panasonic HDTV?
Ideas? Suggestions? Anything?! Help!!
P.S. I'm running Mountain Lion, if that wasn't already obvious. Everything is up to date in my App Store as well.

Hi There,
I have had the exact same issue but with a projector.
The issue lies with Mountian Lion 10.8.2.
I tried many a combination with no luck to get HDMI working.
Took my mac into the apple store and came to the conclusion it was the software, so I asked them to install 10.8 onto it (this is destructive so a backup is a must)
Bought my macbook home and voila, now displaying through my projector.
There is a small graphics update after 10.8.1 which seems to be the cause.

Anyone know if there is any documentation suggesting that the standard Kernel not support multiple Thunderbolt displays?
From what I can tell, the OS does not even detect an additional monitor.
This is an issue whether I daisy-chain the monitors or use the second Thunderbolt input.

This seems to be a slightly different issue than what your post addresses.
With thunderbolt displays, it seems like the system will only recognize one of them. xrandr doesn't show them as connected, as mentioned in your post.
I have a mid 2014 (11,1) macbook pro, and I have the same issue. Very curious to see if it can be remedied.

I was considering on making the move to apple and getting the macbook pro.I multi-task a lot with my machine and was thinking of buying 2 20" apple cinema display's.Is their a way of connecting my macbook pro to the 2 cinema displays and to a 32" so 4 monitors including the unit itself can be run.It needs to be quiet cheap as well don't really want to spend a lot of money on it.All the screen's have to run different I don't want it to be mirroring on all four.

There is no way to run multiple monitors off the single DVI port in the MBP.

Macbook Pro video issue with multiple Monitors and Powerpoint 2011

Hello all,
I have a major issue that is perplexing me. Whenever I hook up a second monitor or projector to my Macbook Pro 15" Early 2010 and launch a Powerpoint slideshow I lose video on both systems immediately and can only recover with a reboot. This is fully reproducable. It doesn't matter if I'm using the mini Display Port to DVI or VGA adapter, same results. Same results with monitors, TVs, or external projectors. I only experience this issue in MS Powerpoint 2011, no other applications. I have 8GB of Ram and a 2.66GHZ i7. It doesn't matter what my resolution is set to, same issue. I will post two error reports below for additional details.

I "fixed" it, I did a fresh install and restore and that power point issue is gone. It works now without crashing but I am using Snow Leopard 10.6.4 now instead of 10.6.7. I'm going to update and see what happens.

Using Multiple Monitors with MacBook Pro

I was wondering if you could help me out. I am trying to run 2 x 1900x1200 external displays (DELL ultrasharps 24") using my MBP. I have the Triplehead2go DP edition (just released in Q3 '09). I've downloaded the latest driver from the Matrox website, and I have the Matrox miniDP to DP adapter. I am using the DP male to male cables which came with the DELL monitors. Everything I have read has suggested that this set up is possible and supported by MAtrox. The trouble is every time I plug in the DP cable into the computer - MacOSX crashes (and hard!!! not even resolving when the cable is removed). I would very interested if anyone has successfully used the TH2G DP edition with the MBP (unibody) for this setup. Apple seems to think that the problem is with the device, not the software. MAtrox tells me they can't reproduce the problem and that I should have the device replaced (which I am arranging). Do you have any ideas/suggestions. I would appreciate your help.

Output / Multiple Monitor from MacBook Pro

I have a question. I am working with live video production and we want to have our presentation (similar to PowerPoint but a professional live presentation software) sent to two different monitors. The monitor is being sent via thunderbolt then via HDMI out to a projector, but here is the difficulty, we also want to send the same image to a second MacBook Pro which is running our live video switching software, so that we can mix our original presentation into the live video stream when necessary. Does anyone have an idea how we can get the presentation from the first computer onto the second computer? It should be the full-screen image exactly matching that from the projector. One more comment, I am not sure if a simple HDMI splitter will work because maybe the second MacBook Pro won't recognize the input as a monitor. Thanks so much.

Activate Screen Sharing on the computer that's giving the presentation and connect to it from the other computer. You will have to use the projector in mirror mode. The presentation software should be running in full-screen mode.

Connecting Mid-2009 MacBook Pro to multiple monitors?

Hey everyone,
I have a Mid-2009 MBP 5,3-- the type with a Mini Displayport, Firewire 800, 2 USB ports, and an ExpressCard slot. I'm trying to connect multiple monitors to it. The monitors may have different sizes/resolutions, so I'm not looking for a solution like the Matrox DualHead2Go, which apparently stretches out a virtual screen across multiple devices. My MBP should recognize each external monitor as its own device.
In all likelihood I'll be using the Mini Displayport for the first monitor. After doing some research, I can't really figure out the best way to get a second screen attached to the MBP:
People seem to complain about the refresh rate when using USB-to-X adapters for second monitors. Is there a better alternative to USB?I was thinking about ExpressCard-to-X adapters, but not sure this would work for second monitors.
Up to how many monitors could my MBP recognize? Theoretically I could connect 2 through USB + 1 through ExpressCard, but not sure this would work.

Our CMR-210 is designed to pass analog audio only. Quite often the newer TV's receive only digital information. I would refer to your TV manual or perhaps the TV manufacturer regarding the Audio in jack on your TV to see if it is digital or analog.
Can you please give me any guidance.
