Multiple Notes at infotype

Hi all,
I'm getting an head breaker problem...
I need to add one more note field to my infotype, where i already have one, working good....
But now after save i'm getting the same text in both note fields...
I presume that my method to create second field is wrong soo i hope that someone knows how to create 2 or more note fields without problems...

i.e to insert or delete multiple data into transp table.

XML Gateway - XGM Mapping - Multiple NOTES Mapping

One of our Inbound transaction having Multiple NOTES. They are coming like below
<NOTES index="1">PM~#*$PART DESCRIPTION7050-T76511</NOTES>
<NOTES index="2">CR~#*$FOLLOW-UP COMMENTSMGE16424 17P6W6530-532</NOTES>
<NOTES index="3">H7~#*$ITEM PURCHASE CLAUSES- GENERAL TERMS </NOTES>
And notes count is not fixed. They may be starting from 1 to 99.
As per user requirement they are maximum 5. I want to map these Note values to ATTRIBUTE 1 to 5 field columns.
When I mapped these columns on condition based like this
When index = 1 then map to attribute1
When Index = 2 then Map to Attribute2
......like upto Attribute5
But mapping is only considering last NOTES and populating only last Index NOTES.
For example: If incoming Inbound having only 3 notes then ATTRIBUTE3 is only getting value remaining ATTRIBUTE1 AND ATTRIBUTE2 is not getting populated.
How can get values for other ATTRIBUTES also.

The control allows me to select multiple files when running under localhost but does not work when trying it from the web server.
Is there some web server configuration I need to do? Web server is running IIS 7.

Multiple records for infotype with TC1

Hi all,
We have maintained use case A4 for mailing address in ESS.
Strangely, one of our end users, has two overlapping mailing address records! The user had a mailing address record which he edited in ESS. This edited record appears in the backend as a new record. So now the user sees two records in the backend - both with a different start date, but the same end date of 12/31/9999, instead of seeing the first record as delimited. And now when he tries to edit his mailing address in ESS, he gets an RFC error.
Ideally for TC1, a user cannot have two overlapping records and the first record gets delimited to accomodate the updated record as the current record.
Any idea, why this could be happening? We are unable to replicate this issue at our end as this scenario seems impossible for an infotype with TC1.

TC1 can use A1,A4,B1,B4
TC2 can use A1,A2,A3,A4,A5,B1,B2,B4,B5
TC3 can use A6,B3

A: A record can be created specifying the valid start and/or end date Multiple records can exist.. By default the ESS scenario's will allow you specify the start date as today or future date. If you wish to enable ESS scenario's to accept a start date in the past, Business Add-in "HRXSS_PER_BEGDA" can be implemented.

B: A record can be created without specifying the valid start and/or end date. Multiple records are not possible.

How to maintain Multiple Substitution (2003) Infotype

Folks,
I need to maintain multiple substitution for an employee on same date.
_Example:_
    Employee planned working time ( Infotype 0007 ) - Shift A ( 6 AM to 2 PM )
    But he has come in Substitution Shift B ( 2 PM to 10 PM ) instead of Shift A.
    Due to month end work , his senior manager may say him to continue Shift C also.
    ( It happens in Manufacturing industries )
   Now i need to maintain both Shift substitution in 2003 infotype.
   But system doesn't allows me to enter two Substituion for same date.
   Is there any solution for . If Yes , say me procedure.
   Answers will be rewarded.

No No, I am just asking you to make a decision based on your requiremnts and how your system is set up.
Entering a DWS OR star time and end time in IT 2003 will replace the planned working time in IT 0007. (Dont enter both at the same time)
So if you maintain the following times 0600 to 2200 in IT 2003, then the employee has a planned working time for 16 hrs, he does not get any benefit for working 8 extra hours. Is this the way you want system to work?
Normally under such circumstance, the employee will get compensated in some way for working extra hours. If this is how system should work, you should only enter 0600-1400 ( or whatever SHIFT B timing is ) in IT 2003 and enter the extra shift (Shift C) worked as Overtime.
I hope the above clarifies my answer.

Assigning Apps to Multiple, not all, Spaces

Yo,
So I know how to move and assign applications to certain spaces. My question, however, is whether an application can be assigned to multiple, but not all, spaces. For example, I would like iTunes to be in spaces 1,3, and 5 but not in 2,4 or 6. As far as I've seen, you can only assign it to either no spaces, 1 space or all spaces. Anyone else have any success in this area?

yes the naming is standard sap, if you press F1 at name segment field at we31 you'll see the sap help give you this information, after that you need add the segment name at pm01 to the correspondence infotype and it will populate next time you send it.

When you test it try to test in PFAL at insert mode to see if it populates first.

Multiple NOT-IN selection from within Forms 6i

I have a form, in which the user can put several varchar2 IDs (es. 'A0', 'B3', 'CJ',...). Then, I have to execute a query like this:
INSERT INTO FOO
SELECT *
FROM BAR
WHERE ID NOT IN (...values put by the user...)
- The list of the user values has an undefined length
- I can't create a temporary table on the DB

You definitely can use dynamic sql. Here is an alternative:

assuming you will have maximum 1000 codes in the string, if not, change it accordingly, and assuming your codes are always 2 characters, otherwise, change the logic a bit. :str is your string 'AJ','B3','CJ'...

HT2486 Smart Group not working for Multiple 'Not a Member of' Options

I am trying to go through my contacts and assign everyone to a group. I want to create a smart group whose criteria is "not in Group 1" AND 'Not in Group 2'.
This does not work. It simply gives me all the contacts.
Also, is there anyone to see a contact and know to which groups they belong. When I can't remember who someone is, it is helpful if I know what group.

I have a different conclusion : for me, it works since 10.9 where it has never worked before (and I just checked it still works with 10.9.1) !
I did not modified my groups, they simply started to work properly with 10.9.

How to email multiple notes from icloud

I do not see any export all function for Notes (unlike Contacts where you could select all and export).
Do I have to email all my notes one by one? Is there a quicker way to downlad all the notes to my PC?
