Multiple Outlook Calendars - sync to Torch 9800

Hi there,
I'm posting to see if I can find a way to sync multiple outlook calendars with my blackberry.  I work in a medical clinic, and everyone has their own calendars which list patients' appointments (set by the admin on her computer).  Everyone else has an iPhone, and I have stubbornly refused to switch (I like my blackberry, and I like the security it gives).
Right now, I have set blackberry desktop software to one-way sync the clinic calendar to mine (only my clinic appointments).  If I set more than that, it all merges into one calendar.   However, my iPhone-toting-coworkers sync it all, then can select any clinician on their phone, and see that person's calendar.  Very handy if you get stuck at the hospital and need to see who has room in their schedule to cover for you.
I'm envious.
Surely, I think to myself, BlackBerry must be capable of this.  I mean, it's BlackBerry.  Master of all things communication and calendaring!  Surely my phone can do that!  So if anyone can help me view my colleagues calendars on my BB, I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks!

Hey minumant
You can  only sync the top calendar from your E7 whereas  the other two  could be modified or deleted and the latter can't be modified or deleted.
Feel  free  to include more topics  again in the future.
I hope this answer your question.
Best regards
Carl

  • How can icloud sync with multiple outlook calendars?

I have an outlook calendar syncing to icloud.  But I want to sync another calendar as well and I want to add holidays.  Can this be done with icloud? Or should I go back to yahoo calendar?  Thanks.

It works for millions of users, you are doing it wrong. Read the directions and follow them exactly, no diversions.
Please try to understand that there is NO sync. iCloud is a server to client Dav system, not a client to client sync system.
How does the desktop tell you that "outlook has been set up to sync"
I would like to know the exact conditions that generate that,
    So post a screenshot here.

  • Major problems with iPhone 4 & iPad 2 both 5.1.1. - Outlook Calendar sync

Folks, really need some help here, being forced to revert to Blackberry Bold 9000 because of issues with Outlook Calendar sync since 5.1.1 upgrade on both my iPhone & iPad.  Our company Enterprise Active Sync server is 2003 (please don't mention upgrade - already a seperate conversation byt all costs).
email sync's fine on both devices, plus i can continue to use both iCloud accounts, and BT yahoo mail etc !
national holidays set up in Outlook calendar come across, as does some calendar items, but then falls into a resync mode with nothing staying in the device, i can also see and read calendar invites, but once accepted, they disappear !
Searching the internet suggests I'm not alone with this issue - any ideas welcome, seems not to be a problem on os 4 !!!  but A) I don't know how to regress and B) why should I ?
Many thanks in advance, please don't make me go back to a BB !!!
Finally, I've been using the devices without issue for nearly 2 years - so again it's linked to 5.1.1. upgrade !

    Hi Tim
Firstly, apologies for the slow response to your very quick reply !
    I've checked back, we're using Exchange 2007.
We've actually got a ticket open with Apple at present, so anticipate that a patch may be available.
It is still curious though that out of a 200 user community trialling our internal iPhone & iPad pilot, we only have 2 issues (mine and a colleagues), however anticipate that there will be more issues as nearly entire community is on 5.1.1.
On a second point, any ideas how one can rollback to 4.3.3 on an iPhone or iPad ?  I can't find anything that implies a self rollback without jail breaking the device ?
    Thanks again for the help.

  • Blackberry Outlook Calendar Sync Issue

We recently discovered a outlook calendar sync issue we can add items on the Blackberry and they will show up in Exchange. But you can’t change a calendar item from the Blackberry, e.g. if you create an item on the phone it will show up in Outlook, but if you use the phone to change the date or name of it Outlook will still show the old one.
    We are running BES 4.1
    We are running Exchange 2003
Exchange and BES are installed and running on different servers
OS of the server running BES 4.1 is WINDOWS 2003

  • Synchronizing multiple outlook calendars to Iphone 3G

I need to synchronise multiple outlook calendars to an Iphone 3G. When I look in iTunes I can only choose synchronise all calendars and the option select calendars is not available. It's on a Windows 7 64-bits laptop with Office 2010 installed. It worked on a windows 7 32-bits laptop with Office 2010 (or that's what the person is saying). Has anyone a solution for my problem? Thanks in advance.

  • Outlook Calendar Sync has stopped working

Prior to iTunes 7.4.X, Outlook Calendar Sync was working OK.
Now, it does not. No new calendar entries posted in Outlook following the installation of iTunes 7.4.X make it into the iPhone.
I've tried all the usual tricks - reinstall iTunes, reset the iPhone, nothing helps.
    Any ideas out there?

hi, thanks, i tried that as described here in the troubleshooting faq - no improvement.
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=305845
here's what i noticed however, there's not a second add-in as described in the doc. the Outlook iTunes Sync add-in is missing on the system entirely. after re-installing, iTunes, it's still not there and so can't be added through browsing to the iTunes dir and therefore i can't select it.
where can you get this second add-in? also following these instructions, i deselected the microsoft outlook mobile service add-in which sounds like it might be needed. ??
    thanks for any help.

  • Outlook Calendar Sync Frustration

Ok....I've done it all. I've reinstalled....numerous times...earlier iTunes versions...operating systems...reduced my pst files to less than five appointments, none of which are recurring...rebuilt pst files....you name it, I've done it. My Outlook calendar still does not sync with iPhone/iTunes. I get the "outlooksyncclient.exe" has encountered a problem and needs to close..." error message. I'm inclined to subscribe to the point of view I saw from one poster that PocketMirror/Palm figured it out, Apple should be able to as well.
What really appears to be happening is that one of the two add-ins that iTunes/iPhone requires isn't being loaded. According to Apple documentation, you need "iTunes Outlook" and "Outlook iTunes Sync" add-ins. I only get the iTunes Outlook" add-in from iTunes, no matter what version I install, reinstall, deinstall, reinstall, etc. One would think that if "syncing" is the problem, you'd want to get that second "Outlook iTunes Sync" add-in loaded and seen by the OS, no?
Even when I was with a VERY good tech at the local Apple store, he didn't want to touch the issue that the add-in wasn't being loaded. To be fair, he saw it on the computer (haven't been able to locate it myself, but I saw it when he ran a registry list), but somehow it's either not being activated OR seen by iTunes. Seems to be a key player here, but the tech could only report the issue to tech support...leaving me in the dark since there is no way to follow up on the progress of the report to tech support.
Am I alone here? For a smart phone/PDA, not syncing with what is probably the most used corporate contact management software's calendar is, well, not very smart (especially right out of the gate on this cutting edge tool).
I'm not complaining about the phone features. It's LEAGUES above any phone I've seen. Having an iPod on board is just bonus. The Map widget is great too, especially linked in with the contacts (...which, by the way, seems to sync fine with Outlook...). But come on...if you can pull all that off, what's up with not being able to do the calendar? Want to lose the majority of sales folks out there that could truly benefit from this product? No sweat, just don't put a priority on fixing this Outlook calendar sync issue.
I'm posting this because I have a feeling that if I don't, and no one else voices this opinion, it won't be addressed....and this would be a shame since this product has so much immense potential.

Try this. Forgive me as I am not at my work computer but expericenced exactly the same problems.
Go to edit your email account and assuming you are using outlook 2003 since I don't 2007 you will need to find the dialog box that says something to the effect of send your information to your personal documents. It is a drop down menu within settings. You will then need to close outlook and open it again. Try syncing your iphone and this worked like a charm for me.
To sum it up your mail, contacts, and calendar entries are curetnly being stored on your work server. Iphone doesn't like that. When you tell outlook to store these items on your personal documents they then are stored on your hard drive and Iphone loves that. When I first tried doing this I noticed that I didn't have the option to send these items to my persnal files so if that is the case for you you will need to create it by clicking add and just pointing to personal files.
    I hope this helps.

  • Multiple email calendars sync with Outlook 2007

I have synced my Outlook 2007 calendar successfully in both directions with my BB Torch 9800 for ages (version 6 Bundle 2921, Desktop V 7.1).  The calendar on the BB automatically named itself 'Default".
However, the minute I added a number of email addresses to my BB (to receive email messages on my phone, rather than waiting until I log on to my computer), the sync will only work in one direction - from Outlook to BB, not vice-versa.  I note that each email address sets up its own calendar.
When I enter a new appointment on the BB, it goes into the calendar for the first email I added.  This calendar does not sync with my Outlook and there is no 'default' calendar option to 'pull down' on the BB when I enter a new appointment.
I have spent a huge amount of time on this including wiping BB and starting again, and looking at as many websites as possible for help.  All to no avail.
    Can any one help please?

    Hello Ljo,
Thank you for your question regarding synchronizing your BlackBerry smartphone Calendar and Microsoft Outlook.
Which BlackBerry model and version of BlackBerry Device Software are you running on it? http://bbry.lv/iubM23
When more than one calendar exists on your BlackBerry smartphone, one calendar is set as the default. To confirm which calendar is set to default, click the Options icon from the Home screen and select Advanced Options > Default Services.
Note: For BlackBerry 6, click the Options icon and select Device > Advanced System Settings > Default Services.
Make sure that the default Calendar is the one that you are adding the new entries on.
If this is the case, please contact your mobile service provider and request that they contact BlackBerry on your behalf.
    Thank you.

  • Syncing z30 with multiple outlook calendars

    Hi Everyone,
i am new to the forum and i see numerous people are having issues with outlook.  can anyone help me please as i have not found a solution to my problem.  i am trying to sync my new z30 phone to my outlook calendars and when i go through the process in blackberry link and try to add calendars in the configure tab under the calendar sync option there it doesnt show any calendars in there to add.  previously i had a z30 that i could have all the calendars synced to my phone but i dont have this phone anymore.  anyone please help!!!!
    Thanks in advance

If contacts are available with a supported application on a computer and with your iPhone, you should be provided a merge prompt with the first sync of this data.
In regards to iTunes content, an iPhone can be synced or manually managed with an iTunes library on a single computer, but you can sync contacts, calendar events, and Safari bookmarks with the supported applications on multiple computers.
For your iTunes sync preferences with the computer you will be syncing contacts and calendar events only, do not select sync music or anything else under the various tabs for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes on that computer.

  • OVI Sync and Multiple Outlook Calendars

I have two MS Outlook calendars at work - one is for professional engagements the other is for private stuff.
In the Nokia PC Suite I was prompted to select which of these would be sync'd to my phone but I can't find how to do this in OVI suite and by default it's syncing to the wrong one (the one on the work server, as opposed to my local calendar)
Can anyone shed any light on how to specify which Outlook calender my phone will sync to?
I'd like to start using the OVI suite - mainly just to remain 'current' - but the calendar sync is a deal-breaker!
    Thanks all!
    Ian

As a variant to Ian's question below, I actually want to sync multiple calendars from my Outlook onto my E71.
On my Outlook, I have my calendar and I also subscribe to an internet calendar, which show up nicely layered in different colors on my Outlook calendar page.
On the PC Suite sync setup page I see the 2 calendars from my Outlook but it limits me to selecting ONLY ONE of the calendars for syncing. I would like to be able to select both.
Any ideas out there? It feels like I'm just missing a step, since I can see the calendar choices.

  • Sync multiple Outlook calendars?

Is is possible to create 2 different calendars on my iPod Touch from the 2 different calendars I have in Outlook?
If not, can I make it so that both my Outlook calendars can sync with my one iPod Touch calendar?
On the iTunes menu, when I look at my iPod Touch--> info page, it refers to "Sync calendars with: Outlook" and then offers 2 choices: "All calendars" or "Select calendar". However, the second option is not clickable.
    Any help appreciated.

I have exactly the same requirement. If it helps here's my workaround pending a solution:
    1. Export the second calendar to Excel
    2. Import the Excel file to the first calendar.
This successfully adds the contents of the second calendar to the first. (If you don't want to do this an alternative is to create a third calendar in Outlook to hold the merged contents).

  • Outlook Calendar to Blackberry Torch

I am a new member here.  I have a Torch 9800 operating on 6.0.  I have Outlook 2007.  I can sync everything but calendar.  I get the information that Calendar is "not installed".  Any help you can provide would be greatfully accepted.

On your BlackBerry, go to Options > Device > Advanced Settings > Default Service and look to make sure your default calendar is set to the email account you use.
Then, in the BlackBerry Desktop Software, follow the instructions in this link below to make sure your calendar is setup to sync.

  • Multiple Outlook Calendars?

    Hi.
I'm a brand new BB user (just received the phone today) and I'm having a few start-up questions about the PDA software and how it related to Outlook.
I have multiple calendars in my outlook that I need to sync and have visible (and hopefully editable) on my BlackBerry.  I'm a home user syncing to my outlook through the USB Cable and desktop sync software.  I was able to select the different calendars to sync, but on the blackberry device I don't see them and can't find a way to view them.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Bob Smiley
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Can you (or someone) please tell me HOW you got this to work??  I have 3 Outlook calendars I need to view (mine, and proxy access to each of my two bosses' separate calendars) and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get them on my BB.  We have no BES, so I'm only on BIS there...
Even (stupidly, and temporarily) switched to the Palm Pre because it's supposed to be able to do this seamlessly, but the dang thing has been nothing but one headache after another.
I'd be loyal to BB for life if I could only find a way to get all 3 of these Outlook calendars on my BB with ease (and be able to tell them apart!).  Can anyone please help??  OTA sync would be greatly preferred, but USB would be OK as a last resort.

  • Multiple Google Calendar Sync no longer possible?

I'm trying to set my iPad (WiFi) up to sync with multiple google calendars.  I did this successfully with my iPhone 4 a few months ago.  Now I'm trying to do the same with my iPad following Google's instructions here:
    http://support.google.com/mobile/bin/answer.py?hl=en&topic=14252&answer=138740
However, now when I try to go to m.google.com, I don't get any option to sign in, or a list of my devices.  All I get is a page with Google Apps.  Has this now changed and Google has not updated this page?  Has anyone been able to configure this recently?

Ok. I'm not sure quite how I got this to work. I went to m.google.com from Safari on my iPad. I tapped on "Sync" and it didn't take me anywhere useful. I went back to m.google.com and tapped on "Calendar" and logged in. Still not what I wanted. On a lark, went back to m.google.com and tapped on "Sync" again. Bingo! It brought up a list of my mobile devices. From there, I could select the one I wanted and select my calendars. I think the key was logging in through Calendar.
    Best of luck.
