Multiple output using hi fi speakers and studio monitors???

Hello,
I just purchased a Samson C-control to work as a switcher between my hi-fi speakers [connected to my amplifier] and my studio monitors. I've got everything set up right...or so I think...but, am not getting any sound out of the hi-fi speakers. The meters on the C-control are lighting up but there is no sound coming from the hi-fi speakers...which leads me to believe that the problem lies with my setup within my Mac. There is sound coming out of the studio monitors though when I activate their switch on the C-control.

Volf, that doesn't appear to be a US model, and this is the forums for Toshiba USA. You may want to contact Toshiba in your region. If it's a European model, you could check the Toshiba Europe forums.
jdw174, can you confirm your model number? I don't recognize the format. Check the label on the bottom for the full model and part numbers.

The iPad was bought in mid-June, but I did not get extended Apple-Care warranty on it. Any idea of what's happenening?

Multiple means how many? If only 2 or 3, they could all be faulty. Try the headphones in some other device, to make sure they are OK. Or there could be something wrong with the headphone port.
Your iPad is still covered by the 1-year warranty so you should make a Genius appointment and have it looked at.
Another thing to try is to plug in the headphone jack a few times in succession to see if it frees up something inside the port.

Shipment have multiple output triggered on specific date and specific time.

We use a custom transaction for a specific customer/ partner shipments. the transaction work with help of batch jobs and idocs. we create a shipment through VT01N, after creation, we use the custom transaction to complete rest of steps - planning- execution- shipping off.
the transaction is capable of producing an i doc for each output we trigger. outbound idoc goes to other party system through SAP PI. the third party system is a web based system.
Output is configured to issue multiple output.
we noticed a strange thing last week.
Several shipment processed on the day had 7 outputs triggered each seperated by 3 seconds/ 4 seconds and 5 seconds. error doesnt show any patterns.
when we see the outputs, 1st output doesnt have manually changed indicator tick. but rest of 6 has the indicator tick.
i have checked all possible option from my side.
need your opinion about what could be the cause.

The trigger that changes the audio output is a hardware trigger. I don't think there's any way to bypass it. It is now, however, possible to use both your built-in speakers and your stereo with iTunes and remote speakers using the "AirTunes" technology in the AirPort Express. If you have an AirPort Express, you can plug in your speakers to it and use them together with your built-in speakers.

could somebody help me. how do i send multiple Recipient using mail.jar. when i would input 2email address in to Recipient

Why am I getting an intermittent buzz with preamp and studio monitors?

I've just gotten rid of my desktop computer speakers which plug into the mini-headphone audio out on my Macbook Pro (i7, 2.66, mid 2010). Instead, I've connected via firewire 800 to an older 8 ch Presonus Firestudio Project preamp, and have connected a new pair Fostex powered studio monitors to that for my audio (and scratch recording). When I first start playing music in iTunes it all sounds great. But after a while, I'l start to get these periodic loud electronic buzzes. It's not just in the background, it actually will cut off the song to make the loud sound for a brief second. Over time it will become more frequent, and at one point it got to the point that it was just a constant buzz, no audio at all. Unplugging firewire stops it. Since there are a number of components, I'm not sure what is causing the problem. Can anyone help?

The update didn't apply correctly, which will be typically due to an interuption within your setup. You will have to connect to iTunes via micro usb to restore.

In the display settings on your computer uncheck "mirrored". This will put the displays in "extended" mode. In extended mode you can set the external display to its native resolution as well as drag windows from your computer to the external monitor. I assume that is what you mean when you say "split screen".

Multiple user use of TC: permissions and mounting

I have an iMac (intel, OSX10.6.7) and Time Capsule [TC]. I have set up Time Machine to use the TC. I also use the TC for additional storage - Photos and Music - to keep the iMac drive fairly free. There are 5 users of this setup (2 Admin). The TC is also accessed from windows machines and so I can not use a sparse bundle for this.
When one person is logged in and the TC drive is "Mounted" for that user, all hunky dory. On the one hand the Time Machine is able to mount, connect backup, and disconnect it's sparse bundle with no issues no matter who is logged in. If another user (admin or not) tries to access the TC drive (not Time Machine) they can not get at the contents, it is marked with a No Entry sign on the Folder Icon.
How oh How oh How can I get the Time Capsule (External Drive) mounted so that all the users can access it without a previous user having to disconnect? Also how can I get it to keep the permissions I set (to inherit) rather than permanently reverting to owner:RW, others:read-only after someone had updated a file?

Yes, but as the item I referenced explains, using that free space for something else isn't recommended. You might look into attaching a USB external drive to that Time Capsule.
Another part of the problem you're having might be due to the fact that the applications that use the files you're trying to share aren't designed to allow more than one user to open the files at a time.

Can a PC with a Displayport output use a 27" iMac as a monitor?

I've asked a couple questions in the past week because I'm trying to find a solution for my office. (each one of my ideas unfortunately turns out not to work)
I need a PC for some business things I do, I have an old PC but it works fine for what I need it for.
If I buy a video card that had a displayport output, could I plug it into a new 27" iMac to use it as a monitor?
(My current video card only has a DVI & VGA output, unless an adapter would work with it?)
I really want an iMac, and would rather not use parallels or Vmware or bootcamp (if possible) because I have a lot of data on my PC.

Or maybe I'll buy a nice Dell monitor (with a lot of inputs) and just buy a Macmini (especially if they upgrade to haswell because the graphics are supposed to be much better. (and the mini's don't have dedicated GPU's)

LCDs are not affected by magnetic fields, although a really strong magnet might make the backlight flicker.

What are you using for Fan speed AND temp monitor?

Thanks to Bosskiller, my rig seems to be running a bit stabler now! Knock on wood. Is there any program other than MSI's core center that monitor fan speed AND temp? I used to use MBM but it's no longer being supported and CoreCenter doesn't seem all that popular here?

Actually how accurate is the temp reading on HWMonitor for your MSI board? One thing I noticed is that w/ Coretemeter the temp reading was around 48-50c on Rig#1 and almost 58-60c on Rig#2 (That's my HTPC w/ EXTREMELY tight spacings so still work in progress as far as cooling's concern!) but using HWMonitor I got 31c CONSISTENTLY on both rigs! Using internal Speakers and optical Output at the same time ?

is it now possible to use the internal Speakers and optical Output at the same time ?
Is this a software or hardware limitation ?
Every day im disconnecting the optical output. It can't be good for the contacts. I wont spend over 100 euros buying an external soundcard to solve this problem.
Any Ideas ?

How do I output Audio through computer speakers while outputting video via Firewire to TV

I'm outputting the video and audio streams via a FireWire connected Camcorder to a TV display (used as a third display), but I want the audio to output through the computer speakers and not through the Camcorder speakers as is happening. If I disconnect the Camcorder, the audio outputs through the computer speakers normally. This must be an audio out setting issue but I can't remember which settings to adjust. I used to do this in an earlier version of PRE but I've forgotten the settings. I'm using PRE 9.0. If someone can understand what I'm trying to say, I hope that person can help me. Thanks.

Good thought. I was thinking the same way, and I tried adjusting every
setting that's there but without any luck. It must be a setting within PRE
that would allow the video output stream to be split from the audio output
stream but I just can't find the setting. As I mentioned in the posting, I
used to do this in an earlier version of PRE.

I'm unable to play music or podcasts using the iphone4 speakers.

I tried all the things that I read on other threads isuggested as well and I still cannot get the volume buttons to work when I try to play music or podcasts. I read a post on another site where someone suggested the phone is "stuck" or confused and is in Doc mode. For example, I am trying to play music right now and my phone thinks it's playing and the source selected is "Doc Connector" (my other option is Apple TV). I know there is not a problem with the speakers or the buttons themselves because I can play a voice memo using the phone speakers and the volume buttons work. Thanks.

I am having trouble running both my speakers and Fatal1ty HS-1000 USB headset at the same time. Sometimes I like to take off my Fatal1ty HS-1000 USB headset and listen to my music really loud with my 5.1 system, but now I would have to unplug the Fatal1ty HS-1000 USB headset from the back.
So when I play WoW I have to plug my Fatal1ty HS-1000 USB headset back in and go back and forth when I want to listen to music loud and play WoW.
I installed the the drivers with the audio panel.
