Multiple Photo Upload HELP! ADDT

Hi Guys,
I create a insert transaction for upload of images. And i insert a server behavior multiple upload image in the form.
the upload link than was created and i managed to upload the images into the specific folder. however the data/filename was not reflected in the database.
can anyone enlighten me? or anyone have any tutorial how to upload multiple images.

As a follow up to this I tried selecting the default id. The file upload restriction was removed. I would like to achieve the following. A form where a persons details are recorded, the person is not stored in a DB, the said person fills in a form and uploads required documents. The recipient can view the details and download that persons documents.
I successfully create the forms for details but I need help with the above.
If this is beyond the realms of this forums help, I am prepare to pay for help, but please keep charges to a minimum

Photo uploading help.?

I cannot upload any photos. I click import and go to the file source but it either says could not copy file to requested location, or gives me a bunch of random stuff that does not work or is not even in my files. What could I do to fix it or who could I contact to help me??

Great, since that works, it's not a problem importing the photos into LR's catalog, but a problem copying them to one of the selected folders.
So go back to my first post, and try what I said - "Which folder do you have set as the destination? Try somewhere generic like the desktop - if it works there, it's probably a folder permissions issue." Let me expand on that a little further for you. Next time you import, select copy, but this time try setting a location like the Desktop. If it still gives an error, make sure 'Second Copy' in the File Handling panel and try turning that off.

Multiple photos upload to mobileme, organization

I take a lot of sports shots on the road. I want to add them to my ipad and then in bulk upload them to a mobileme gallery which I have as an account. I see only the ability to do one photo at a time. Any way to do more than one?
Is there a better third party app that could do this?
Secondarily what are the best apps to organize photos vs using the internal ipad app?

Just found this thread as I am looking for a more elegant way to accomplish this task (there apparently isn't any). However, there is a way to send far more than 4-5 photos to MobileMe at a time:
Step 1) Create a new album on MobileMe (name it something memorable), making sure to enable email uploading. Get the email address (click on the Settings tab after publishing the album). Then, add that address to your contact list (just to make it easier).
Step 2) Go into Albums, select the album you want to upload, click on the right arrow box icon in the upper right, and select the photos you want to upload. Then, press "Copy" (not "Mail").
Step 3) Open a new Mail message using the email address from above, and then paste the photos in to the body of the email. Send.
Can't promise this is fast, but it works.

Photo upload help needed

Can't seem to upload my photos to iCloud, music and apps seem to sync, but no photos. I have photo streaming on and connected to wifi, so not sure why it is not syncing. I also plugged in my phone to my computer, but still nothing. Any advice?

You're up to date for a iPad1 but IOS 5.1.1 isn't enough for the program you want.

Photos uploaded are in random order in my flickr photostream

When I use flickr feature to upload multiple photos, upload starts in parallel and results is that those photos showing in random order in my flickr photostream. How can I line up my photos in photostream in the same way I arranged photos in iPhoto? They are ordered as expected within flickr "sets" but I want to have my photos also arranged in expected order in photostream. Both Flickr Uploadr and jUploadr are capable of doing this so I expect the same with iPhoto.

I have the same problem too. In iPhoto '09 the built in export to flickr feature results in my flickr photostream appearing random.

Very bad bug, Apple needs to fix this error.
It's almost false advertising that this '09 feature is helpful at all, it's actually worse than tools that have been around since 2007.
I'm going back to using the stand alone application from Flickr: Flickr Uploadr.

Upload Multiple Photos

With the Wiki Server on Snow Leopard, a user was able to compress multiple photos into a zip file and upload the zip file. The server would then uncompress it and insert all the images into the Wiki entry.
The Wiki Server on Lion will not accept zip files when you upload photos and you are unable to select more than one photo at a time. It would be a huge pain for our teachers to have to upload one photo at a time and has prevented me from rolling out our new Lion Wiki Server to the public.
Am I missing something in regards to having the ability to upload multiple photos?

No I don't think that you are missing anything, it is the wiki that is missing what I had considered a basic requirement.
However, on going away and thinking about it I fear that it might be an intentional decision by Apple. They have also removed the alignment options for images, i.e. images can only be centered in a page.
My guess is that they have decided that wiki 3 is not an image library and therefore have not included the option to upload multiple images!
I have looked into the upload .js code and because of the information that the wiki returns to the page it's not obvious how they would handle the creation of lots of images in one go 9 OK anything is doable but I fear the way they have implemented the image addition doesn't make it easy)
All in all not a very helpful response but I wouldn't hold your breath for .zip uploads to become available.
In some ways it would be easier to install an image gallery 'app' on the server and use an iFrame on a wiki page to look at it from within a page.

Try this general troubleshooting procedure:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete the contents the following folder: User/Library/Containers/com.apple.iPhoto
3 - reboot, launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: For Mavericks and Yosemite, go to your Home folder and use the View ➙ Show View Options menu to bring the this window:
where you can check the Show Library Folder checkbox.

why not sort by (name, date, etc) and Click on 1st and Shift-Click on last.
Might work better to copy or import to a project folder.

How do I select multiple photos from iPhoto and upload them to a Facebook album?

I have transferred ALL my photos from my iPhone into my Mac. They are now in iPhoto. I recently created an album and I want to put the photos from iPhoto into it, but not all the photos. I have quite a lot of photos to put in, and I don't know how to select multiple photos and put them in the album. Help me please!

Create an album in the left hand pane of iPhoto and drag the 4 photos into it. Open the albume and select all four photos and click on the Share button. Next select Email and go from there.

ADDT multiple image upload: "error 500"

Right now, I have managed to get the update record form wizard working, the right input ends up in the correct fields in the database.
So I'm left fighting with the "multiple image upload", which gives me an "error 500" message (error connecting to server)
The window does show me the correct files in the correct folder, but when I try and upload an image I always get the error 500 message.
I have read that the "multiple file upload" uses a temporary folder, and Im assuming that the "multiple image upload" does the same, and I suppose that I should CHMOD that folder to 777.
Do you know where I can find that folder?
Can anyone help me with that error?

Sorry about my name, I tried a lot of other names, and all were taken, but this random name went just fine

I thought it did - When I used the upload and save to database it saved the original images in a folder and created a sub folder called "thumbnails" and saved the thumbnails - origianl filesname just with width and height appended at the end.
I checked my server files and their definately created.
I browsed the java script and the help files which mentions it does this but I would like to be able to change the naming format of the thumbanils if possible

Multiple photos per page not working :( Please help

I see the option for multiple photos per page. It was available 5 minutes ago but now is grayed out and I can not get it back. This is very annoying. Can someone tell me why iPhoto won't let me print multiple photos on the same sheet?

Remember that we know nothing except what you tell us - that it is not working is not much
The most common reason that print multiple photos per page is grayed out is that you either have a photo size/paper size combination that will not fit multiple photos (ie trying to print 2 8x10 photos on an 8 1/2 x 11 paper) or you have not selected but one photo
If these do not help please give us some more detail on what you are doing

URGENT :Photo Upload automation : help required

I need your help in my program which require executing DOS command from SAP ECC 6.0.
The requirement is "to make an automated SAP program workable with ECC 6.0 which will able to execute DOS command Dir *.jpg -> photo.txt to create a File Photo.txt, Then I need to upload this file automatically into SAP Internal table for further processing" that will lead to photo upload (this part is already done by me).
I am not sure if someone has done some similar things in past if yes kindly guide how to do this.

Firstly you need to create an archive to store the pictures. Then
Goto SM30 or SM31.
Enter the Table/view name as TOAAR_C.
Click on New Entries.
Give StSym as 'A2'.
Give a description ..
In Arch. Path enter as /.
Select the radio button 'File store'.
Save the entry.
You can view the photo through PA20/PA30/PA40 for each employee.
For this you have to add an entry in Table T588J for your header
modification.
The field type of this entry should be 'PIC'.
Then you have to run the report RPHDYNPG for generating the screen
header.
After the initial configuration as described above,
for uploading the Photo
Go to Tcode OAAD -> Create
Business Object : PREL
Document Type : HRICOLFOTO
Click on Create.
System will ask for personnel no and path of Photo

PSE 8 photo uploader freezing HELP

I have pse8 running on windows 7. Within the last 4 weeks my photo uploader has not been able to upload my photos from camera or phone in standard nor advance mode.
I connect my device and click (in organizer) get photos from camera and the dialog box pops up. I choose my device and than it just hangs there on "connecting to device ..please wait" I have to turn the device off in order to get it to stop. It then says "failed to upload thumbnails from device"
My work around is getting to be too much work (manually pulling photos into my folders and then letting organizer find them and bring them into organizer)
To my knowledge nothing on my pc changed in the last 4 weeks and I can not see any reason it is "behaving" this way.
Any help would be appreciated.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the PSE 8 and it still will not get the phots from my camrea and phone, this frustating me.

My Canon MP Navigator scanner software no longer detects multiple photos on the platen - help! I have scanned thousands of old photos over the last few months without problem. I scanned several full pages from photo albums right before this problem began. I wonder if there is some sort of memory which is not being cleared. I have researched everything I can findto no avail. Any ideas?

I'm not familiar with this software, but if your scanner is supported, you can achieve this task via Preview.app.

I believe your model would fall under the MX880 series, and if that's correct, you'll be all set once you learn Preview's way of scanning.

Multiple Image Upload with Save to DB - any help would be appreciated

Hi - I'm running into the following issue when using the Multiple Image Upload with Save to DB behaviour.
When I click the link to upload multiple files, I am given the list of local files to choose to upload. No problem here - I can select multiple files.
When i select choose, the uploader shows the progress but hangs at 0%
However (if I cancel the uploads), the first image of the group is uploaded and it's corresponding database entry is entered correctly.
Anyone else have this hangup? If so how did you get around it?

Just thought I would update.
The problem seems to be related to redirecting.
I had specified a redirect page, which of course stops the flash file from continuing to upload images after the first one.
Anyone know how to change this so when the flash uploader finished it goes back to a list page?
