  • Sending multiple photos in mail

I read an old post that said it was not possible to send multiple photos in mail from the iPhone. Well, I have done it, but in a rather clunky fashion.
I first made a new message to send, but left the To: address empty.
I then went to the camera roll and selected one photo by holding my finger on it for a short time, long enough for the "Copy" option to pop up. I copied it.
I returned to mail and pasted that photo into the message area.
Returned to the camera roll and copied another photo
Returned to the mail, entered 2 returns after the existing photo and pasted again.
I then entered the recipients address. (For some reason the paste option would not appear if I entered the To: field first)
This way you don't get the opportunity to make the photo sizes medium or small, but if the message is too large you are given the option of do that. It minimizes just enough of the photos to pass the size test, but it did work.
This is clunky. Does anyone know of a better way to do it?
    Thanks, John Shanks

You can select more than one photo at a time followed by selecting copy if you have aleady started composing a message and if not, you can select more than one at a time followed by selecting Share instead which will create a new email with each photo added as an attachment.

  • Multiple photos per page not working :( Please help

I see the option for multiple photos per page. It was available 5 minutes ago but now is grayed out and I can not get it back. This is very annoying. Can someone tell me why iPhoto won't let me print multiple photos on the same sheet?
    Thanks

Remember that we know nothing except what you tell us - that it is not working is not much
The most common reason that print multiple photos per page is grayed out is that you either have a photo size/paper size combination that will not fit multiple photos (ie trying to print 2 8x10 photos on an 8 1/2 x 11 paper) or you have not selected but one photo
If these do not help please give us some more detail on what you are doing

  • IPhoto How to print multiple photos per page.

How do I print multiple photos on one page using iPhoto 10.5.1?

You've done it in the past - but not with iPhoto '11 version 9.5.x
with iPhoto '11 version 9.5.1 (there is no version 10.5.1) the only way to print multiple photos per page is as I explained - and going back to a [revious is not an option as previous versions will not run under OS X 10.9.3 and previous versions can not read the library after it is upgraded to version 9.5.x
the way you do it is
For now a work around is to duplicate the photo in iPhoto (this does not increase disk storeage requirements) and print multiple copies at once
To print 4 you must make 3 duplicates and select them and print all four

Do you want to print several different photos per page or multiples of the same photo?
If you want to print several different photos, select them all at once and press command-P for "Print".  Pick the Custom Layout and adjust the photo size suitably.
If you want multiples of the same photo, duplicate the photo several times and select all copies at once, then press command-P.

in Canon easi print you can select many photos and/ or many copies of the photo and select how many per page. for example : 2 x photo A, 3 x B, C, D & E ; 8 photos total on 2 x A4 sheets. or you could select 8 on 1 page, or 2 on 4 pages...
Does Mac have same functionality...I can't find it in i photo....

  • IPhoto 7.1.3 and printing multiple photos per page

I cannot get multiple prints to layout (or print) properly. IOW, I cannot get the product to render multiple photos to a single sheet layout.
    - selected multiple photos (say 5)
    - Hit Print icon (or select Print from File menu)
    - Paper Size: choose 8.5x11
    - Print Size: choose 3x5
    - Hit 'Customize' button
    - It is showing 1 photo per page (5 pages)
    - Select 'Settings'
    - Select 'Multiple photos per page'
    - Hit 'OK'
    - No change - still a single photo per page
    - Print preview shows same - 5 pages each with only a single print.
    - Same occurs if I originally select 2,3,4.... prints.
Perhaps noteworthy: I am using a printer (only available printer) that is attached to another iMac on my wireless network.
Any help appreciated. About 30 minutes searching this discussion board hasn't been fruitful.

Welcome to the Apple user discussion forums
    - selected multiple photos (say 5)
    - Hit Print icon (or select Print from File menu)
    - Paper Size: choose 8.5x11
    - Print Size: choose 3x5
When I do these steps my preview shows 4 photo on the page (the maximum number of 3 x 5 you can fit on an 9.5 x 11 sheet) without going to the customize menu - and it works on three different printers
Try deleting your iPhoto preferences (finder ==> "your username" ==>preferences ==> com.apple.iPhoto.plist), launch iPhoto, reset any preferences you have set and see if it will work
It should be very easy and straight forward with only the first four steps being needed for this

  • "Layout" option in iPhoto 09 - multiple photos per page

I am trying to printing several different photos on a single page. While I can achieve this by selecting a smaller image size and letting iPhoto arrange them automatically I would like to adjust the layout. When I selected "Layout" (under "customize") earlier I was offered layouts for One, Two, Three etc. images per page but now I can't find how to get iPhoto to offer more than One image per page. Am I doing something wrong? With several pictured selected, how do I customize the layout?
    Thanks
    Duncan

Thanks - That is what I figured but the strange thing is that when I clicked on "Layout" 20 minutes before I posted this question it offered me page layout options for "One", "Two" "Three" and "Four" images per page with different configurations for each......but now I can't get those options - frustrating! And thinking about it, why would it say "One" under layout if there were no other options available?
Has anyone else experienced this? Do other iPhoto 09 users get multiple images per page options under "Layout"?
    Thanks
    Duncan

  • IPhoto print multiple photos per page

Hi, I am using iphoto to print for the first time. I want to print more than one picture per page. For example, if I do 3x5 photos I should be able to put 4 on a regular sized sheet. It seems ridiculous that you can't put more than one photo per page unless you are printing multiple copies of the same photo graph.
Can anybody help? I have a MacBook with OS Leopard plus all updates.
    Thanks.

  • Printing Multiple Photos per Page in Mac PSE4

I have PSE 4 for the mac. I would like to print 4 3.5 X 5 photos on an 8.5 X 11 sheet -- but I want them to be DIFFERENT photos, not 4 copies of the same photo.
I can't figure out how to do this. The picture package will print multiple copies of a photo per page, but not different photos. Is there a way?

Couildn't be simpler. Click a photo thumbnail in the Picture package window, then navigate to the photo you want in the window that opens, and that zone will be replaced with the new photo.

  • Select multiple photos in Mail

I recently upgraded to Mavericks. Now, when I have a Mail (ver. 7.3) message with multiple photos, I can only seem to select one photo at a time. I used to be able to Command-Click to select as many as I wanted, and easily drag them into another email or file. Is there some other way of doing this? Also command-a and command-shift don't help any more for selection, like they do in most other Apple apps.

    timmilner:
Make sure they have an extension on the files. You can do this by Right-clicking (Control-clicking) on the photo in the email and selecting the contextual menu option "View as icon". This will show the file name and size and show the default application, i.e. Preview or Photoshop, etc. This will give you some idea as to what's going out.
If you add the photos to the email via the Finder, resize them at the bottom of the email window, you can go to the Edit->Attachments menu and select "Send Windows friendly attachments". Just another way to send attachments.

  • How do you print multiple photos per page in LANDSCAPE using iPhoto ?

I am very experienced using iPhoto and like it but it has a very limited print program that I find frustrating.
The simple task of turning the paper to landscape mode does not appear to be one of the options when you wish to print more than one photo per page.
Even with a single photo selected there is no "landscape" mode, but rather you have to define the print dimensionally to be 11" wide x 8" tall.
Even that option however, goes away when you select the "custom picture arrangement" to get more than one picture per page.
Has anyone figured this out - I love apples products but this omission is a pain - HELP

First send a feature request to Apple via http://www.apple.com/feedback/.
A workaround, if you have the iWork suite of apps, is to create a landscape canvas in Pages or any image editor that supports layers, drag the two photos onto it, resize as needed and print.

  • Multiple photos per page

I want to make a single fold, 8 1/2 X 5 1/2 greeting card with six different photos on the front. I cannot find any way to do this using iphoto. I looked at the the Portraits and Prints site and could not determine if either their standard or deluxe program would do this. Can I do this with iphoto? Will Portraits and Prints do this? Which version? Do I need some other program for creating greeting cards? What works with OSX.3?
Has anybody been able to do this using Apple Works and iphoto 4?
    Thanks for your help
    Delinda

I cannot find any way to do this using iphoto
That's because iPhoto isn't a greeting card maker. If you want to make a collage that prints on part of a page, a basic graphics editor like GraphicConverter or PhotoShop Elements should let you accomplish your goal -- AppleWorks might even be suitable. If you've purchased the iWork bundle, Pages™ will very likely work perfectly well for the purpose. Often the software that ships with your digital camera may include something you can use. Alternatively, you can go to versiontracker.com and search for an application that meets your needs.
