Multiple photos printing
New iPhoto version seems to have lost ability to print several photos to one full sheet. Buried dropdown for multiple photos is greyed out.How to put either multiple copies of single or single copies of multiple pix on single sheet?
l Ellen Jay
Welcome to the Apple users help forums
to print multiple photos select the photos and click print - select the printer, paper, and print size (must be small enough to fit multiples on the paper you selected with some borders) and click customize - click on the settings icon (the little gear looking thingy) and in the pull down menu select print multiple photos per page -- to put multiple copies on one page select print multiples of a photo per page) - the multiple photo layout should appear in the preview window and click print to print it
If this does not work quit iPhoto and trash the iPhoto preference file - "your username" ==> library ==> library ==> com.apple.iPhoto.plist - and launch iPhoto - it will create a new default preference file - reset any user preferences you have changed and if you have changed the iPhoto library from the default location , repoint iPhoto to it

Print multiple photos on one page to printer
I am new to macs, and I can't figure out (using iphoto 11) how to just print multiple photos on one piece of 8 1/2 X 11 paper in my own printer at home. I want to choose the size of each picture (like one 4X6 and two wallets on one page. How do I do this? it seems I can only print one pic per page when I use the print function in iphoto. Please help! If i can't do this basic thing I feel like I just wasted a couple thousand dollars on a really expensive piece of junk.
This is a detailed set of instructions I made for my mother to use. Hope it helps.

How can I print multiple photos on the same page from iPhoto?
I want to print multiple pictures on one paper. How can I do that from iPhoto? If I select multiple photos they are printed on separate pages.
Select the photos and click print - select the printer, paper size and print size (be sure that they will physically fit on the paper) and click customize - on the resulting page click on the settings icon - the gear looking thingy at the bottom - and in the selection window set print multiple photos on a page - the preview should reflect this change - and click print again to continue

How to print multiple photos in Photo Papers Plus?
Hi, may I know how to print out multiple photos (let's say 2 photos) in Photo Paper (Mine is Photo Paper Plus Semi-gloss, 4*6 inch), without border (Borderless). Thank you.
I don't have your particular program, but many use Page Setup to configure the layout of printing from the File menu. If you can save as PDF you can configure Preview to change the page layout that way.

How to print multiple photos on one page
How do I print multiple photos onone page
Create a new blank document the size of your paper and then copy the photos you want to print into it. They'll each come in on a new layer and you can move them wherever you want, rotating if wanted, to make best use of the paper.

PSE 9 Problem Printing Multiple Photos
I am unable to properly print multiple photos in V9. For example if I select a single photo and select my paper size as 81/2x11 and try to print 5 copies of the photo in 3 1/2 x 5 size - the preview screen only shows a single photo and it shows it will only use one page. If I print it, the photo is printed one time on 5 pages. I have included a screen shot. The same thing happens if I print multiple copies of multiple photos. I know there is an option under more options to only print one photo per page but it is not selected. Even if it was selected the preview should show that 4 pages would print. I have duplicated this on more then one computer. This is a serious bug and makes printing from PSE useless. This started after I installed a recent upgrade.
I would like to add my experience with printing. As per the previous comments I have also used Elements since the first version and have undergone many upgrades, so believe I am qualified to make these observations. I have always used Elements to manage printing for our art and photographic business and have never had any issue and very little waste, very important when the paper and inks cost so much.
It would seem that the printing from Editor works much as I would expect.
Printing from Organiser does not work as it should. I have always used this for printing greeting cards and other multiple print options and would expect to set for individual prints to a specific size with a number of copies per page.
Observations of print problems:
Only one image per image selected appears in the preview window.
The preview window does not update to indicate multiple pages will be printed where more than one page worth is chosen.
Only one image is printed per page.
Images requested print one to a page, so in my case three pages for one image 'Use each photo' set to three.
In the 'More Options' is a tick box to select one image per page, this is not selected.
At this stage popped up a message stating Organiser is unable to print and will skip this page. The printer then prints 3 blank pages this being the number selected.
I am pleased to say that returning to PSE7 to check my facts I find it does exactly what I would expect, the preview page fills up with the number of images selected to print.
I would like to know if Adobe will be pursuing this issue as I have no use for PSE9 if it can't print as per previous versions. -

Printing multiple photos on one sheet in iPhoto 11
I have a relatively new Mac Mini and today I tried to print from iPhoto for the first time. I needed to print 2 up of the same photo on each sheet but I could find no way to do this. I'm using a Canon MP530 for photo printing. I've been using this print feature in iPhoto from the very beginning and don't appreciate that it's so hard to do (or impossible) in iPhoto 11. Or is it a problem with the printer driver?
Contact Sheet layout or Custom layout.
I don't know how to print multiple of the same image, without duplicating the image. -

How do I print multiple photos on one page using iPhoto 10.5.1?
You've done it in the past - but not with iPhoto '11 version 9.5.x
with iPhoto '11 version 9.5.1 (there is no version 10.5.1) the only way to print multiple photos per page is as I explained - and going back to a [revious is not an option as previous versions will not run under OS X 10.9.3 and previous versions can not read the library after it is upgraded to version 9.5.x
the way you do it is
For now a work around is to duplicate the photo in iPhoto (this does not increase disk storeage requirements) and print multiple copies at once
To print 4 you must make 3 duplicates and select them and print all four

Print multiple photos on one sheet in Photoshop Elements 11
I want to print multiple photos on one sheet in Photoshop Elements 11
I am using Mac OS10 10.7.5 I am using Photo shop Elements 11. Could you please help me? New to photoshop elements. Thanks. JodieWell, you can start with File>Picture Package. If that doesn't offer a layout that works, create a new file (file>new>blank file) the size of your paper at the resolution you want, then copy paste your pictures into it and use the Move tool to position them.

IPhoto 7.1.3 and printing multiple photos per page
I cannot get multiple prints to layout (or print) properly. IOW, I cannot get the product to render multiple photos to a single sheet layout.
- selected multiple photos (say 5)
- Hit Print icon (or select Print from File menu)
- Paper Size: choose 8.5x11
- Print Size: choose 3x5
- Hit 'Customize' button
- It is showing 1 photo per page (5 pages)
- Select 'Settings'
- Select 'Multiple photos per page'
- Hit 'OK'
- No change - still a single photo per page
- Print preview shows same - 5 pages each with only a single print.
- Same occurs if I originally select 2,3,4.... prints.
Perhaps noteworthy: I am using a printer (only available printer) that is attached to another iMac on my wireless network.
Any help appreciated. About 30 minutes searching this discussion board hasn't been fruitful.Michael
Welcome to the Apple user discussion forums
- selected multiple photos (say 5)
- Hit Print icon (or select Print from File menu)
- Paper Size: choose 8.5x11
- Print Size: choose 3x5
When I do these steps my preview shows 4 photo on the page (the maximum number of 3 x 5 you can fit on an 9.5 x 11 sheet) without going to the customize menu - and it works on three different printers
Try deleting your iPhoto preferences (finder ==> "your username" ==>preferences ==> com.apple.iPhoto.plist), launch iPhoto, reset any preferences you have set and see if it will work
It should be very easy and straight forward with only the first four steps being needed for this

Printing Multiple Photos PSE6 for Mac
I can not figure out how to print multiple photos (open files) to my HP 6240 Photosmart printer. The printer has a 4x6 photo tray and I can get one photo at a time to print.
I want to print several different photos that are open during one print session. How do I select all the photos to print at once?
I couldn't find an answer in searching the forums, Missing Manual for SPE6, or PSE Elements Book for Digital Photographers. The Sharing tab doesn't have a print option.
Thanks. Thanks for the update about PSE 8. I've been thinking about upgrading and I just might do that now.
