Multiple Photoshop versions installed (CC and CC 2014) - safe to delete the oldest?
I'm running out of disk space and noticed that Creative Cloud actually has installed *two* versions of Photoshop CC:
1) Adobe Photoshop CC - 1.2GB, last modified 21 Dec 2013
2) Adobe Photoshop CC 2014: 1.65GB, last modified today
I'm *almost* sure the oldest version can simply be deleted but I have a measly 2Mbit Internet connection and a re-install if I mess up is going to take a weekend :-( .
There are three reasons not to.
1. Backup If one has a problem and you have works that needs to be done at least you can continue on the other.
2. CC has Flash based. Many old filters and plugins will work on it. CC 2014 is HTML5 based.
3. CC does have some features taken out of CC 2014. Oil Paint Filter and Mini-Bridge.
You have a CC license and can keep and run both.

Thank you Bturko in the future only migrate/copy/transfer your documents and settings. Adobe applications especially are not designed to be transferred from one computer to another. It is possible to recover however. I would recommend the following steps:
Run the uninstaller located in Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers
Run the CC Cleaner Tool to ensure complete removal - Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html.
If you need to download a fresh copy of the installation files they can be downloaded at Download CS3 products.
Run the installer and reinstall Creative Suite 3. -
I have just started with iCloud, and run into a problem from my PC.
It says: "
Multiple Outlook versions installed.
You can't use iCloud when multiple versions of Outlook are
installed. To use iCloud with outlook, uninstall one version.
I have searched and found two versions of Outlook 2013 and 2015 (one of which was inactive, but I have removed it), and one of outlook.pst, which I have removed.
Where do I go from here?That's a Windows/Office problem. You should ask in the Microsoft support forums.

Cloud programs do not use serial numbers... you log in to your paid Cloud account to download & install & activate... you MAY need to log out of the Cloud and restart your computer and log back in to the Cloud for things to work

As far as Outlook is concerned, Bonjour communicates with Outlook via the .pst file, and if you have more than one, that is probably where the error originates. I'm not sure if there is a way to correct that, and I do not have any experience in multiple data files for Outlook. -

I use a desktop version of Lightroom and am wanting to move to the Cloud version. What happens to my files, etc., on my desktop when I download the cloud version? I don't want to lose my metadata, etc. If anyone out there knows, please let me know.
I just installed LR CC and am having trouble opening catalogs where I followed the instructions to upgrade. Just posted a question about it.
Discovered a problem when I went looking for some images that were not included in the most recent catalog. After opening up a couple of older ones and upgrading, I went back to the most recent and couldn't opening. Message says it is not writable. And also says it may be due to incorrect permissions. If you have any suggestions for this, I would love to hear them. -
i have the new version of iMovie, and when i try to start the program, i can't because it says that it is looking for some movie files from the Iphoto, so all the program is locked up... how can i do to restart the program??

Did You may be direct iPhoto to a different Photo Library
As iMovie tries to find the appropriate photo library - it can get lost if iPhoto direct it into a Library on a not connected external hard disk or to a strange location - And iMovie HANGS.
Do - When no other program is running that might interfere
• Start iPhoto - BUT NOW KEEP alt-key (option key) DOWN during the full Start-Up process
• Now iPhoto let's You select Photo Library
• Select the one in Your Account / Home folder / Pictures ! !
• Then iPhoto should start up OK
• Now Quit iPhoto
• START iMovie
Does it still hangs - then I would suspect - iMovie Pref. file
If it Run's OK - Then HURRAY !

I'm having 10.8.3 and today 18-Apr Thursday I had installed latest java 7 update. Now when ever I test java page it just redirects the page to Java download on both Firefox and safari. I tried deleting the cache from Java Sec Panel - temp ile but still same prob.

My old iMac and OS 10.4 will not accept the New iTunes Version 10 application and I can't get past the screen offering to download iTunes 10. This is wrong and I need help getting past this situation. Help!
Sure, you can get around it if you don't need the newest version of iTunes. I still use version 7.5 because the newer versions didn't strike me as offering anything I needed.
If you do need a version 10-something then you will have to upgrade your operating system to Leopard (fi your computer will support it) at least. If you need 10.5 for some reason then there's no getting around it, you will have to buy a new computer. -
I have Photoshop Elements 7.0 and when I go to sort the photos in order (from oldest date) I keep getting the message "Photoshop Elements 7.0 has stopped working" and then the program closes. Sometimes, eventually it has sorted as I request but today this has been rejected over 15 times. What is wrong?
