Multiple Profile Accounts

I'm trying to set up multiple profile Firefox accounts on my new computer with Windows 7. I had multiple accounts set up on my old computer with Windows XP without a problem.
I am able to set up the multiple profiles in Firefox program manager, but when I open the first profile, it will not let me open a different profile after that... it only lets me open that first profile as many times as I want. I have read everything I can find online about this problem and I cannot solve it.
I have also tried using Multifox and I am having the exact same problem. I have Norton 360 set up on the computer. Can you please help me? I'm going crazy trying everything I can possibly do to set these accounts up and nothing is working. Please HELP! :(

You need to have '''-no-remote''' in the Target line of the desktop shortcut for any Firefox Profile you launch after the first one.

How to provision multiple AD Accounts to a single User Profile in OIM

We are using OIM 11g R2. We have implemented AD Provisioning/Reconciliation using Active Directory 11g Connector.
The correlation rule for linking AD accounts with OIM during target recon is set as “Email ID”
We have some business requirement where we want to provision multiple AD Accounts to a single User Profile in OIM.
Issue we are facing:
Suppose we have USERID1 in OIM which has email id as USERID1@ XYZ.COM .
After that we have provisioned sAMAccountName=USERID1 (Email ID as USERID1@ XYZ.COM )& sAMAccountName=USERID2 (Email ID as [email protected]) to the user User Login = USERID1 in OIM.
Both the AD User accounts can be seen as provisioned.
After we run the AD Target Recon, the target recon is failing because of “Multiple Process Matches Found” issue.
Question here is:
Is it possible to maintain/manage multiple AD Accounts (Same AD is used for all the multiple AD Accounts) to a single OIM profile user ?

We have seen its working and linking multiple accounts when we have Key field as "User ID" in the Process Defn & RO and the recon matching rule has email ID as the matching rule.
Please suggest, if we are having the above kind of rule/config...will it not cause any issue?

Outlook 2010 - Multiple Exchange Accounts - Won't send from second account

I've setup multiple exchange accounts in Outlook 2010. I receive fine for both accounts, but cannot send from second account. Sent email goes to the Outbox and stays there.
I've tried going back to a second profile, and it works fine. Mail in Outbox from efforts above stay in Outbox. If I pull them up, I can resend with no issue.
I need to be able to send with multiple accounts in same profile to do other projects I'm currently working on. Any ideas???

I was able to fix this with Outlook 2010 Service Pack 1.
Another area that I had to change was the inbox for that other account I created a rule to put in the primary inbox folder (email 2).
After that the email was only checking one to send and recieve based on the highlighted account, so to resolved that I went to Send/Reveive Groups > Define Groups > Edit Account Properties and made sure they refresh every 1 minute(s).

Can we set up multiple Exchange accounts on a single Outlook profile using Outlook 2013 (365 Full App)? We have an email subscription to O365, and we have another email account that's hosted with GoDaddy that's an Exchange account. I think it's
possible, but I'm being advised that it isn't reliable (or that it can't work). I found this TechNet article that seems like it
should work: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee815819(v=office.15).aspx However, I don't have OCT with O365 Small Business Premium, so I don't know how else to do this...

Seems like it is possible. I was able to add two exchange accounts (office 365 services) into Outlook 2013. I guess this is possible through Email Accounts (add New...). Thanks, Microsoft!

Org detemination when user attached to multiple profiles in IC webclient

Hi,
I am having a problem with org determination in IC webclient when a particular user is attached to multiple profiles.
The scenario is as follows:
1. Log into IC webclient
2. Indentify and confirm an account
3. Select and confirm an IBase
The IBase here is basically used for partner determination.
4. Go to the Service Ticket and enter you details and save it.
The issue is as follows:
When the user who is logged into the IC webclient is attached to a single profile then org determination happens correctly and the partner determination procedure is subsequently triggered to determine all the partners from the IBase.
Now when the user is attached to multiple irg units because of some business reasons then the org determination does not happen because the user is attached to multiple org units in the org structure and hence the subsequent partenr determination is also not invoked.
I am sure of one thing that if the org determination happens correctly then the partner determination will also happen correctly and the all the partners from the IBase will be determined.
My query:
After the user has uniquely selected a profile indicating which org unit he wants to currently work with how do I ensure that the org determination succeeds. In other words how do I ensure that the org determination now occurs based on the profile selected in IC web client.

 I have created a new rule. This is a copy of rule 10000194.
The problem I am faced with is that the function module mentioned in the rule is not invoked.
My observations are as follows:
1. In function module CRM_ORGMAN_DETERMINE_ORGOBJS the there is a call which is as follows:

 Now the call above is used to get the container values which will be used during rule determination. I have not maintained any container objects in the rule itself. But since the rule is attached to an Organizational data profile the following are a part of the container:
Sales Organisation, Distribution Channel, Division, Sales Office, Sales Group.
Unfortunaely there is no value determination available for these objects. Hence when the above function module return the variable lt_act_cont has 5 rows and the value of sy-subrc = 1 because there was no value determination.
2. The same thing happens for the default rule 10000194. But the lines after the function module will tell as to why for the standard rule the function module is called and not for my rule. The lines are as follows:
 IF ( sy-subrc = 0 ) OR ( lt_act_cont[] IS INITIAL ) OR
 ( iv_act_object = 'AC10000194' ) OR
 ( iv_act_object = 'AC14000178' ).
As you see the rule has been hardcoded and hence everythings seems to work fine.
How can I overcome this issue.

Multiple profiles

Is there a hit in performance with multiple profiles? Say 20 or 30 profiles. And if so, is it in application performance as in simple use or is it in render times when you are waiting for a project to render?

Do you mean 20 or 30 User Accounts?
Anyway, a general approach about Mac OS X memory management:
When a task is running, it uses as much memory (+ virtual memory) as it can find left. Other running tasks share the memory at the same time, but they will "give away" some or all memory they are using (thus slow down), in favor of the main task.
This is roughly, not exactly detailed of course, how it works, no matter if the "secondary" tasks are being ran by the same User, by another (others) User(s), or by the System (although system tasks usually don't give away much of their default memory...).
To observe all this very clever and efficient Mac OS X behaviour, use Activity Monitor: Watch "All Processes", you'll see how some are slowing down when others need more juice.
Of course if other Users Accounts or apps are simply logged out or closed, they simply don't have any performance influence.
In a word
(concerning User Accounts):
As long as you don't run many tasks at the same time, there will be no performance hit for the one application you are running.
Of course if you are talking about more tasks to be run within the same application, certainly the application will not run as smoothly, quickly, as if it was doing only one simple task.

For a number of reasons I have had to create multiple profiles in Outlook. I also have a Microsoft CRM account. Up to this point I have been able to successfully install and use CRM for Outlook on my previous profiles. However, when the last profile was
created the CRM for Outlook functionality did not install. / transfer. I have tried uninstalling the CRM for Outlook and reinstalling. No luck it only crashed an old profile which appears now to be inoperable. It is essential that I get the latest Profile
working the CRM for Outlook Any suggestions?

Oh, sorry, when you said you were using Mac Mail, I made an incorrect assumption. The mail program you're using on a computer has no bearing on this.
Are you using a POP3 account? Or an IMAP account? They are fairly different. If you're using a POP3 account with no ability to set filters on the server, no there's not much you can do. If it's IMAP, are you sure your provider doesn't offer any web interface?
Another option would be to set up another email account just for news letters and so forth. That way, you could just look at that account when you wanted to see the news letters buy your "regular" account would have a much less cluttered inbox.

Searching Multiple Exchange Accounts in Outlook 2010

After upgrading to Outlook 2010, one of my users can no longer search multiple exchange accounts. Here is the background. The user is an administrative assistant for 2 partners. She has full permissions against their mailboxes. Their
accounts show up under her Outlook profile and she can access all the mail, calendars, etc. However, when she searches, she only gets results back for her mailbox. She needs to be able to search and get results back from the partners mailboxes
as well. Is there a setting we are missing?

It seems to be an issue fixed by the updates. Make sure you have patched Office 2010 SP1 and have the programs up to date on the assistant's computer.

Multiple Skype Accounts Grandstream GXW4004 FXS An...

Hello All,
I am looking at purchasing a Granstream GXW4004 FXS Analog Gateway, however I need to be able to run multiple skype accounts to it. This particular model has 4 fxs ports and I think it means I can connect four skype accounts, but the brochure says something about "two profiles" so I was hoping someone here could clarify.

I called the manufacturer and they said it would do what I wanted.

SKYPE is having huge issues with third party phones, something happened about a month ago and I am having LOTS of issues with running SKYPE on my GrandStream phone.... WAIT until they fix thier issues ... Grandstream is blaming the proprieary SKYPE software you have to run... and SKYPE is blaming Grandstream.... they DO NOT play well together.
My advise is look at other options for now! I am

Normally, you can add multiple accounts in one Outlook profile. Click Start > Control Panel > Mail. Select the profile you created, click the Add button to
add an account.

Same device multiple profiles

I have read with interest that my ipad cannot support multiple profiles for multiple users. What I am trying to do is to set up the iPad so that it has multiple profiles for the way that I work. Four example at some point over the weekend I want you to turn my work email off and all the work functions applications etc so I can really turn off. At the same time I want to have access to a few leisure programs and have access to my personal emails.
At present I am not aware how to do this looking at how the iPad works.
Any suggestions would be most welcome apart from having to buy device which is unrealistic.
I have achieved this on PC running windows 8 by setting up different profiles and this works wonderfully. If I can't find a way of working this with the iPad then next time I replace my tablet, I will fully go to Windows device.

Sorry, but the iPad does not have a 'user model'. It doesn't have a login/logout screen, and it is set up with just one set of information with just one user's preferences.
It is not really appropriate to compare a cheap iPad (a small computer peripheral) with an expensive Windows computer (a real computer). If you want a fair comparison compare a Macintosh with a Windows computer. Macintoshes have the same ability to login and logout of many accounts you found on your Windows computer.
You will find, however, that you can set up multiple email accounts on your iPad, and turn on and off access to each one without having to put all the information back in again. You will find the toggles to do this under each account in
Settings ... Mail, Contacts, Calendars

Main email profile (account) not showing at top of folder pane, only local folders, unable to auto receive.

TB V-24.4.0, Win XP32, Transfered from OE to TB today on friends system getting ready to upgrade to Win 7 64. Original email account is from Verizon.net and was able to import all mail and address book setting correctly into TB. However, at top of TB's folder pane, his main account isn't listed, only local folders. When I sent a test email to his account, it did not receive so I tried to click on the "Get Mail" button above the folder pane without sucess. Next to the right of the "Get Mail" button is a drop down and when I open, I see "get all new messages at the top and his main account (complete email address) below. Now when I click on his email in that button, his main started to populate fine. Looks like the main profile (account) isn't the default and after 3 hours of reading tips, support, help files, etc..at my wits end trying to get it setup correctly so I can back it up with Mozbackup and restore on new system. I would like to include a screen shot but not finding an option to do so at this time, another issue? Thanks in advance.

given a single pop account import from outlook express, the "Local folder" will be the folders for the account. This is controlled from Tools menu Alt+T) > account settings > Server settings > advanced button.
This is also where the option to "include this server when getting mail" is hidden. Turn it on if you can.
Using the local folder is actually less confusing as there is only one set of inbox sent etc. and is all most people need even with multiple pop accounts all using the same global inbox.
The use on IMAP requires a separate account in the list as content is synchronised folder by folder.

Do Multiple Profiles = Multiple Computer Authorizations?

I have to delete a computer to add my library to this new computer. Before I do, will I lose the ability to allow multiple profiles to use my iTunes?

What i'm trying to do is have users be able to sync their palm on a user profile. So right now i have one admin account and two ursers. I install palm desktop and hotysnc mananger and i can sync fine. I then make the palm folder a public folder and in the startup i add the HOTSYNC.exe file and batch file that links to another folder where i've put in the registry files. I can sync fine on the admin account i go into my user account and i see two Local USB and both are checkmarked i try to sync and the device is not recognized. I then am unable to sync at all.
I've also tried synching without messing with registry files but i am still unable to sync.
