Multiple PRs

Hi all,
I am facing the following problem in MRP run.
I have multilevel BOM for a material. The last level is the raw material. When I run MRP, all the requirements and the procurement proposals for all the levels are coming properly. But the requirement and the procurement proposals for the last level i.e the raw material is running into thousands. I am getting almost a thousand Purchase Requisitions for the raw material. I have run MRP for four months requirements with collective indicator for the raw material and monthly lot sizing indicator. My BOM quantity for the raw material is 1:1. Can someone help me out please?
Thanks and Regards,
Raghu

Hi,
In MRP 1, the maximum lot size and minimum lot size are not maintained (zero). Safety stock is also zero.
Actually this raw material is purchased and sent as a component of subcontracting PO. So this is a SubReq of its header material which is semi-finished material. In the BOM of this semi-finished material, the raw material quantity is given as only 1kg per kg of the semi- finished material. I am getting only one Purchase requisition per month for the semi-finshed material. But for the raw material I am getting almost 1000 purchase requisitions for the period of 4 months even though I have used the collective indicator in MRP 4 view.

  • Multiple PRs in Sales order item level

    Hi All
I would like to know if standard SAP allows multiple PRs at the item level in the Sales order.
These multiple PRs should be based on the outline agreement with the vendor for the material. Is this possible in standard SAP,else what would be the solution..
    Thanks
    Gobi

    I don't think it possible.

  • Using ME57 to create an RFQ from multiple lines on multiple PRs

When using ME57 to create RFQs how can I select multiple line items from multiple purchase requisitions to turn into a single RFQ. If I select multiple lines and then use 'RFQ with Vendor', it only selects one line item.  After further research it appears that you can only create only line at a time (very time consuming).
If you use ME41 and create with reference to PR then you can not sort or filter columns to allow for easy consolidation.
Another forum recommended the following when using ME57 which works but it again adds extra steps to the process.
The whole process is as follows -
         1) When you are in the 'Assign and Process Purchase Requisition' screen, select related PR and then click on 'Without Vendor' icon to flag all PRs for RFQ processing.
         2) Select these PRs again and click further on 'Assignment Overview' icon (Shift and F5). The next screen will appear - Assign and Process requisitions - Overview of Assignments screen.
         3) Select the 'PReq' column and then click further on 'Process Assignment' icon (F2). The next screen will appear where you have to maintain the 'quotation deadline' information.
         4) Then click on 'Continue' icon (enter).
So is there any way to either 1) enable sorting of data in ME41 or 2) use ME57 to create one RFQ from multiple line items of multiple purchase requisitions when selecting 'RFQ with Vendor'.

What is the JPEG specs? What are the specs of the project you're working in?

  • Dear sir, how can i de-release multiple PRs at a time

In ME55 screen only we can mass the PRs.
how can we De -Release the mass  Prs.
Is there any T-code available for Mass De-releasing the PRs
    pratik

    Hi Pratik,
There is no t-code for mass de-release.
The only option is if for the release code used in your PR release strategy, the changeabil indicator is set to 4, then increase the price, the PR release will be reset.
Hope the above answers your query.

  • Is it possible to combine multiple Pur Reqs for multiple materials to one vendor into one PO through MD07?

We have material planners who use MD07 (traffic signal screen) Stock/Requirements List, Collective Access tab to review material requirements by MRP Controller.  Once the list is created, they select individual materials and review them in MD04.  In a lot of cases, Purchase Reqs (PRs) are reviewed and adopted into POs individually for each material.  Sometimes they will combine multiple PRs for one material into one PO.  This is a good practice.  However, from what I have found, it is not possible to combine multiple PRs for multiple materials into one PO.  If this was done it would dramatically reduce the number of POs that we are issuing to suppliers.  Problem statement:  We issue too many POs which causes additional influxes down the line (receiving dock/goods receipts processing, receiving issues, invoices, invoice issues, etc.).  Does anyone know of a way to address this problem without a major overhaul in approach or customization of the system?  Thank you in advance!

    Hello Michael
As far as I know, this is not possible directly from MD07, only from the MM transactions.
The following thread suggests the following procedure to convert several PRs into one PO:
Conversion of multiple PR into single P.O
Drag and drop the first PR from the item overview to the shopping card on top of ME21N,
then open the PO detail delivery schedule tab and drag  and drop all other PR to the shopping card shown  in the schedule tab
You can use the same procedure, calling the order conversion from MD07 and then drag and drop another PRs into this PO.

  • Email to Multiple Recipients when PO released

    Dear All,
I have searched SCN, Google & couldn't find the exact solution for the requirement mentioned in the subject line. That might be because the list of recipients is not fixed.
We do have PR created by one user. It gets converted to PO by another user.
Then that PO is released by superiors with 3 levels of approvals.
Once it is released the PO PDF fomat should be sent to multiple recipient, the list is as below,
    1. Vendor- This we have achieved successfully & mail is being sent to the vendor mail ID mentioned in the vendor master.
    2. User who had created the PR- There might be a possibility that one PO contains multiple PR created by different users.
    3. User who had created the PO- Rather his mail ID should be the sender & not the one who had released the PO.
The mail text should also contain some text elaborating about the PO.
We are successful for sending the PO to vendor only & not other recipients described above.
Will it possible in standard or we need go for development? I tried to configure setting in NACE for partner role SE- sender but it is not accepting.
Moreover the partner roles for other recipients are unknown.
    Kindly help will be appreciated.
    Regards
    Manoj P.

    Hi Manoj
You have to go for development. Ask your ABAPer to use the user exits in the program for output of the PO. The reason no std solution will work here is:
You have to send the email to creater of PR, PO and vendor.
The vendor is fine. You can send using sandrard.
However, there is no mechanism for creator of PR/PO. Also mailing list will not work as the creaters will be different every time. plus one vendor can have many PR/PO creaters.
The std messaging mechanism will not work as the PR / PO creater are never present in its logic.
You can use workflows though. But again this will need careful programming for triggering it. I had a word with one of my workflow consultants and he mentioned that this is possible. but is a major change. Its like introducing new workflow in the process.
The email program editing i feel is easier option as the ABAPer has to simply perform joins on EBAN and EKPO and get the "list" of PR creaters (as the PO will have multiple PRs of different creater) and while the PO gets created, send email to PR creators and PO creator. I think you may need new ABAP form also as you would like to make it a notification rather than the PO output itself

  • Multiple PR for Activity

    Hello All,
My client wants to do a planning for quantities of material in a project but wants to create multiple PRs for that activity or material.
E.g. they require 5000 tonnes of steel for the entire project spread across 3 years,
But they would require about 50 tonnes in a months time, another 100 tonnes in another 3 months, etc.
So they want to raise multiple PRs for this.
Also the steel prices are not constant, hence we cannot create just 1 PO with delivery schedule.
Request your help to approach this issue.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Mangesh Kamat

    Hi Abdul,
I think you can also create partial PO for same PR as per requirement.
    is this possible?
    Thanks

  • Creation of PO/Contract/Scheduling agreement with ref to PR using IDOC

    Hi Experts,
    Is it possible to <b>create PO/Contract/Scheduling agreement</b> <b>with reference to PR</b> <b>using inbound IDOC ?</b>
If yes, please let me know the segment type and field to be populated for referencing PR in the IDoc .
    Thanks in Advance,
    Best Regards,
    Mitesh Desai

    Hi Aarif,
Thanks for taking time to reply .
We are palnning to integrate SAP and non SAP systems.
The business Process is as under .
    (1) PR will be generated in ERP (Manaul/MRP)
    (2) PR will be coverted into RFQ (for which there is no appropriate source of supply
         in ERP)
    (3) Sourcing will be done in non SAP system. RFQ will be created with dummy vednro (for example say "source") to identify RFQs to be sent to another system.
These RFQs needs to be sent using IDOC alonwith reference PR numbers and line item numbers.
Multiple PRs will be combined into one RFQ as multiple line items.
    (4) Non SAP system will do sourcing and generates either PO or master outline agreement and have reference PR/RFQ numbers and line item numbers.
No SAP system will send PO/outline agreement information to SAP system in XML file format to generate inbound IDOC in SAP .
    (5) This inbound idoc will generate PO/outline agreement in SAP.
From SAP functionality point of view, I ca createPO/outline agreement with reference to PR but <b>My Question is how I can generate PO/outline agreement in SAP through IDOC and using "Reference PR or RFQ numbers".</b>
    Looking forward to help ASAP.

  • Header Text Of The PR to PO creation: Header Copy Rule

    Hi Friends,
Is there any workaround to set  copy rule at header note of PR . As standard sap, there is no header text rule available; may be multiple PRs can be converted into single PO. But I still needed this functionality as there would be only PR has to be converted into single PO.
Which bapi / exit can be used for this functionality . I need to reflect the header text of the PR  into PO Header auto.
    Regards,
    Lalit

    hI,
There is no user exist available to get header text in the PO as per my knowledge.I had similiar kind of requirement ,at that time I dird the research for the same.

  • One PR for one line item in third party sales

    Hi all,
When we create and save a third pary sales order, the system will create a Purchase Requesition.
If there are 5 line items in the Sales Order, the system will create only one PR for all the line items.
I will create only one sales order, and  I want one PR for one  line item of the sales order.
    How to Configure this.
    Regards
    VASU

    Vasu,
PR in the sales order is generated by the settings in Schedule line and Item category. In a particular sales order, if there are 5 line items and of same item category and schedule line then system will give only one PR number. Again if the item category ans schedule line is different then there will be multiple PRs.
Can you please elaborate more on your requirement. Again from one PR you can generate multiple PO
    Thanks,
    Raja

  • MRP:regeneration of pr

MRP was run in my company and a pr was generated and this pr was converted to po but grn against this po has not been done. But on running the mrp again another pr was generated for the same material for the same quantity and this pr is shown in the mrp pr print out.we follow reorder point planning.i.e in a nut shell for the same requirement multiple prs' has been generated while running mrp.please advice

    Hello,
For Requisitions generated by the MRP, if the fixed indicator on the Requisition is not selected or the release indicator does not have a final release, then when MRP is run again the original Requisitions can be deleted.
So what may have happened in your system is the following :
    - The MRP created Requisitions that were consequently not fixed (i.e. EBAN-FIXKZ = blank), which is normal.
-> A Requisition becomes fixed in ME52(N) only if at least one of the
following fields are changed EBAN-MENGE Quantity
                                     EBAN-LFDAT Delivery date
                                     EBAN-FRGDT Release date
                                     EBAN-LGORT Storage location
                                     EBAN-WEBAZ GR processing time
-> A requisition becomes also fixed with a final release strategy.
    - A new MRP was carried on, with transaction MD01/MD41 for instance,
and the 'Planning mode' indicator was set to 3 'Delete and recreate
planning data'. This may have deleted the previous Requisitions.
    The summary:
If you don't want to have such a behavior there are the following possibilities:
    1. Avoid runing MRP during converting PR to PO
    2. Runing MRP with another planning mode (not 3)
    3. Indicate PR with a Release strategy
    See also note 88266.

  • PR Based  PO

    Hi,
We are creating *PO* with reference to PR.
We received the PR's from different dept for same item code.
While creating the PO, different line items appear for single type of material.
    Ex:- We require bearings(Part code:-10002556)
          X & Y & Z depts raised the PR's for bearings(Part code:-10002556). different qtys.
I have to release the PO for single vendor in single PO.
How can I club three indents in single PO. Three line items appear in PO.
But I need in single line.

You can definitly convert multiple PRs into single line item of one PO in the following way --
    1) Create PO with reference to first PR.
    2) In the delivery schedule tab at item level, enter other PR & Line numbers of PRs.
    3) The delivery schedules will be copied from the PR schedule line.
    4) Save PO.

  • PRS-650 multiple issues

The main issue that I'm having is that sometimes when I power off the device it refuses to come back on. Usually in regards to coming back from sleep mode. Then, I'll connect it to my computer to see if that helps and I'll get an error saying it's not recognized. I diddle around for a few minutes, hit the reset button, and bam it works again. Recently, it refused to turn on, and every time I hit the power button a red light flashed. When I tried to plug it into my computer, not even an error. My computer just would not recognize something was plugged in. Not even hitting reset helped. But low and behold, after a few minutes, it just happened to work. What the heck???

And NOW it's not charging. It's telling me it is charging. Heck, I had it plugged in for a couple hours and came back to it saying "Charge complete" so I unplugged it and turned it on... and it said "Battery low" and shut off. WTF?
