Multiple quotes need to be created - need to finalise the last one

Hi,
Can we create a multiple versions of a quote (alternative offers & price revisions) with a consistent naming convention linked to it and a possibility to indicate the final quote identified by using final quote status.
If it possible.Can you explian in how can we do?

Unfortunately alot of the apps we need are free, so this could work if we get Paid apps but the main app right now doesn't seem like it would work with this (Salesforce for iPad). Thanks though!
I'm trying to find the right people here to find out what security measures we have in place to prevent the logging out part, but another thing I thought of could be to create another apple id for the iPads just for the store. I know my personal phone has two apple id's because my original one (connected to the store) is so old that it can't be used for Find My Friends, but I don't know if we could have another apple id on the ipads (the one for the e-mail would be different for each one, the one for the store would be one I or someone else at the home office manages just for iPad apps). Hope that made sense.
It does turn out that we have one Mac and one computer with Windows 7 (Mac is a development computer that doesn't have much memory left and Windows 7 computer doesn't have a monitor yet plus it is also for testing), so I'm going to ask my boss if I can get a dedicated Mac for this or a new operating system. I also need to ask for an iPad so I can see what the users see, but thats another story.

You may be mixing up two entirely different Adobe products.
1. Adobe Flash Player. Needed to view web pages designed with Flash. Not needed to view PDF files. Not available for Android (not just Sony).
2. Adobe Reader. Reads PDF files. However, the Android can also read most PDF files without needing Adobe Reader.

I have been trying to reinstall iTunes but have been getting error messages. One says I need file MSVCR80, one says I have error 7 and the last one says I have windows error 126.

You may be required to boot into safe mode to complete the folder deletion process.

Need to fetch the last record/row from a table

Hi,
I have a requirement like fetching the closing balance of the last record of the table and inserting the same into the opening balance of the immediatetly created next record.
In simple words, I need to fetch a value from the last row of the record.
For example, I use the below query,
select rownum, empno, ename from emp
where rownum = (select count(rownum) from emp);
But, the above query does not return any of the record.
Hence, need help on this.

Rows in a table are inherently unordered. In order to introduce the concept of "first" and "last", you would need to specify how to order the rows which would require that there was one or more columns in the table that you could order by in order to determine the "last" record.
In your closing balance example, if we assume that there is something like a BALANCE_DATE column,

I need to find a good (reliable) Zip program for my MacBook Pro (the last one I downloaded installed Spyware on my system...so now I'm "gun-shy" about downloading ANYTHING to my system)

I have recently been purchasing Books in Digital formats (which come compressed) and I am not able to un-Zip them.
I have used WinZip in the past (I'm a former Windows user) but I hear that this program isn't very good on a Mac...any recommendations?

The last Zip program I downloaded to my system was Zipeg and it LITTERED my system (no joke, I had to go to the Genius Bar to have everything removed).

Mac OS X actually has a built-in ZIP tool that can both unzip files and zip files. However older versions of OS X do not cope well with password protected zip files and it maybe some of your zip files also use newer options your old operating systems correspondingly old zip tool does not support.
I would therefore echo the suggestion of Illaass and recommend you get the free Stuffit Expander tool.
For what its worth you now can actually buy a version of WinZip for the Mac, see http://www.winzip.com/mac/en/index.html I have not used it as I find the built-in zip tool in newer OS X versions along with Stuffit Expander sufficient. I have also written an Automator workflow which allows me to create password protected zip files.

When I create a new library the previous one disappears

I was trying to create a library for different members of the family and it looked OK until I tried to get back to my original library which seems to have vanished. I tried it again and this time the third one looked OK but the second one has gone! What am I doing wrong? Has it all gone forever or can I retrieve it? I am not very good at moving/dragging bits around so could you explain it as in 'Dummy' language, please? I'm on Windows Vista.

When you are using multiple libraries you can only have one Library open at a time and iTunes will default to the last library opened if you don't use the keyboard command to choose one. You need to open iTunes while holding down the Shift key and choose to open an existing library, navigate to where you have your various libraries and open the one you want: Using multiple iTunes libraries -Windows
