Multiple requests for activation and can't find *.joboptions
Now sure what happened...but something trashed my Adobe Acrobat v8 Standard installation so I uninstalled Acrobat and re-installed the program from disk, Ver 8.0, I ran through a couple of upgrades to 8.1.3...
Now when I boot up the the PC (Win XP w/all updates) I get this error message...
Can't find: documents and settings/All Users/Application Data/Adobe/Adobe PDF/Settings/*.joboptions
and I am continually asked (10+) to activate the program, which I do...
I've run my registry cleanup program...still have these problems...
Under Docs & settings/all users there isn't an Adobe PDF folder.
I found it under my user application data along with several other folders:
Acrobat, Adobe Acrobat, AIR, Flash Player, Linguistics, LongTransport2 -- there's also another folder named AdobeUM

Can you confirm you have verified your password via webmail?
What error message do you get when entering the password in the Thunderbird password prompt?
I'd be surprised if you can still receive mail without being prompted, when Thunderbird didn't save your password(s).

It does connect at other Hot Spot locations. At home and here at my office, I have At&t DSL & Wireless,Motorola 3347 Router. MY Ipad's repeatedly asking for activation, even though I activated 20 times, not kidding! And the worst is I can't activate it through cellular data, for no good reason. Yes, I checked the setting for the cellular data about itunes and so on. I also tried to reboot, to remove and put back the sim card. I also tried to send a request to apple support, but the f... button in the email sent doesn't work. I'm kind of ****** off, cause I couldn't use my ipad all the last evening till I get to a wifi zone... What the **** is going on with Apple? It's getting worst and worst... I have a ipad retina, not the last generation, but the one before... Not sure which number it is though.
I understand the question fully. Your issue is that the activation does not seem to be registering nor working properly (which is why you keep being asked to activate it). Maybe activating through Wi-Fi will activate the iPad properly since as you say yourself, "I can't activate the Ipad by cellular data." I don't think it would much more trouble to try it through Wi-Fi and could very well solve your issue.
A question does not come up though...which activation are you actually talking about? The initial activation of the iPad for use (when you are first setting up the device) or the activation for cellular data with the device's cellular data carrier for use on the device? My initial response was for the first scenario. -
I purchased apps for Ipad and can't find them
I had purchased an ipad and bought a bunch of apps for it, and was hoping some would transfer over to our new Mac if possible - but there is no trace of me purchasing them except on my bank statement. Where did they go? They are not on my "purchases" list.
I have never used the Mac App store but I am pretty sure that iPad apps can only be purchases in iTunes or on the iPad itself. There are some iPad instructional apps in the Mac App Store. Is that what you mean?
If you purchase something from the Mac App Store - without knowing for sure because I've never used it - I would guess that it downloads to the downloads folder on your Mac?
iPad apps would transfer from the iPad into your itunes library on the Mac when you sync, but frankly I am pretty confused by what you actually did and what you want to know. -
For example I download a file and I click on it and there will sometimes be a window that opens saying what program I want to open the file with? And then it'll also have a check box saying if I want to use this program for all files I download. I can't change it when I download the file because that one file I keep downloading keeps crashing my Firefox and I have to force quit. It's really getting on my nerves. It's an online statement I'm trying to view and I want to get rid of that problem!! Is there anyway to change that option without going to that download page?
I would recommend going into device manager on your PC and making sure that you have correctly installed the IR dongle. Also what version of hotsync manager are you currently using?

HT1924 I'm permanently on the US site for iTunes and can't find how to change it on my iPod.
Can anyone help? My daughter managed to set her iTunes app on her iPod to go to the US site and not the UK one by default, and I can't fathom out how to get it back. Been through all the obvious settings!

Frustrated parent !!Try going to the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app on your iPod and tap on your account id, tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account, and then select the Country/Region section.

On my iPad Mini, when I delete an email from the inbox (and it goes into Trash), it immediately deletes that email from the server (ATT/Yahoo). I've called support for both ATT and Apple and can't find a way to have the emails remain on the server.
My husband and I share an email address and if he misses a day checking email on his notebook, he doesn't receive the items that I have sent to Trash on my iPad Mini.
Appreciate suggestions.
[The curious thing is, if I "move" the deleted emails from Trash on my iPad Mini into the Inbox, I can go to my notebook, open my online email and they are back in my ATT/Yahoo Inbox.]Is your Yahoo account set up as POP3 or IMAP?

Can I install Mac OS X 10.5 on a Powerbook G4 already running Mac OS X 10.6? I lost my disc of 10.6 and can only find my 10.5 disc as I'm selling my MacBook, and wiping the hard drive for a complete reset.
A PowerBook G4 can't run Snow Leopard OS 10.6, however, it can run Leopard OS 10.5. But you must use a retail (black) Leopard install DVD.
What does the selling of your MacBook have to do with installing Leopard on your PowerBook?

I have accidently deleted safari from my iphone and can't find it to put it back. I did it ages ago as I didn't know what it was and I was trying to create extra space! Now when I click on a link say in an email, it doesn't come up with a browser. I have looked at the apple site but can only see a download for mac users. Not sure if this is the case because it is preinstalled on the iphone.
Help needed please!

Our Bridge has been acting very strange. It keeps giving a dialog box of "Bridge encountered a problem and is unable to read the cache. ... purge central cache" For one, I can't find the central cache and two, I've purged the cache in bridge. Shouldn't that help? There's just all kinds of weird stuff going on. I suppose it does have something to do with the central cache, so maybe someone can tell me where to find it.
When I use the burn/dodge tool sometimes it drags and staggers and takes forever to complete whatever I'm burning/dodging. When I try to delete an image from the dock, it won't disappear but it won't display either.
Any help would be appreciated.The Central Cache is the Bridge Cache.
It's referred as the Central Cache to differentiate it from the individual folder's cache or even the individual image cache. -
After the IOS7 update, i can no longer use my imessage and facetime. It says "waiting for activation" and tried to log in on my apple id but it turned out to connection error. Please help me guys! Thank you.
