Dear Experts,
In Case of calibration, for example i have assigned as one MIC to Operation, now after generation of Inspection Lot can we record multiple reading against single MIC. Please guide

Hi,
I presume that apart from inspectopn point u have done all necessary steps .
Is lnspection lot generating .
1)If it is get generated then while result recording it will ask for identification.
2)Enter any indentification (for ex a, b, c etc ) and save the result. Don't take UD as u want to take multiple result recording for that MIC
3)Again go to result recording tab
Follw step 2 & 3 as long as u want to thak no of results.
IF not clear clear tell me ur requirement in detail & what u steps u have applied.

My requirement is to configure for quality results recording for sales delivery document. Where client wants to record Customer, supplier, Umpire, etc results record for inspection characteristics.
I got response from few Sapiens that I should use Inspection point concept for multiple results recording. Could anyone cna tell me how can I do this.

Okay!
First of all letu2019s try to understand whether inspection points are really suitable for your requirement or not. Accordingly further errors can be eliminated. I just try to understand.
A- Using Inspection Points
1.     Inspection points are used when you inspect the same parameters again and again.
2.     When you click on results tab in QA32, system asks you put some identification number. Letu2019s say you put A1 and then press enter. Thereafter you record the actual results (LENGTH, WIDTH etc.) You save this without giving UD.
3.     For the next time when you again click on results for the same inspection lot, system again asks you to put identification number. This time suppose you put A2. Then again you record the results (LENGTH, WIDTH) for A2.
4.     Likewise you can retrieve the inspection results from system with respect to inspection point (identification point).
5.     Typically this can be used for chemical industries where you record the temperature of the same chemical after every ½ an hour. Here 10:00 am, 10:30 am can be used as identifications numbers. As a result of which you can get the information that at 10:00 am temperature was 40 Deg and at 10:30 am it was 75 degree Celsius.
If your requirement resembles this situation, then only the use of inspection points would be fruitful.
B- Without Inspection Points
But if you want to record the readings by various agencies like customer, umpire (refer following pattern)and want to compare them there are other ways.
1.     Reading by your inspector
a.     LENGTH u2013 100, 101, 102mm (average is 101mm)
b.     WIDTH     - 10.50, 10.50, 10.60mm (average is 31.6mm)
2.     Reading by customer
a.     LENGTH u2013 100, 101, 102mm (average is 101mm)
b.     WIDTH     - 10.50, 10.50, 10.60mm (average is 31.6mm)
3.     Reading by umpire
a.     LENGTH u2013 100, 101, 102mm (average is 101mm)
b.     WIDTH     - 10.50, 10.50, 10.60mm (average is 31.6mm)
You can achieve this without using inspection points also. For this in QP02 you need to create 3 operation; Inspector, Customer and umpire respectively. Feed the MICs in each of these operations. When you click on result tab system will throw pop up for these 3 operations. Double click on Umpire if you want to record results noted by umpire. Likewise for rest of the operations. You can do this even after UD also (after 1-2 months also). You need to use MIC with control indicator as long term characteristics for this in QS23.
Regarding averaging of results u2013 This can be achieved using single result recording MIC with or without inspection points. Use appropriate sampling procedure. When you feed results in QA32 system automaticaaly averages out the reading. This can be viewable against phi symbol.
Finally you did mention that u201Chere I am not getting the newly created inspection lotsu201D. Does that mean inspection lot (10 origin) has not created?

Multiple result recording for Manual inspection Lot using inspection point

I want to record inspection result for inspection type 89 against *inspection point*. Then I create new inspection point and assign it in quality plan. Then I have done the multiple result recoding against one manual inspection lot in DEV server. But when it is going to QAS server then error is coming during result recoding. Error is "The results transaction cannot be used for
inspection" Message no. QE094.
Plz give me the solution to record the result.

Reason is very simple : the the inspection point definition in the task list header is incompatible with the sampling procedure assigned to the characteristic.Make sure that you select the appropriete radio button in QDV1 while creating sampling procedure and assign the same against each of the MIC's in the task list.
Make sure that the sample tab in QA02 is pressed while assigning the inspection specification & status of the lot is REL

Block creation of multiple prod. order against single sales order in CO08

We have a requirement of blocking the creation of multiple production order against single sales order in CO08 if the production order is already created for that item.

you need to check if any user exit is there which will check order haeder table for the said sales order if any Prod Order exist for the same and flag custome error whicle prod order save.

Clear Multiple invoices document against single payment amount frm customer

Dear Experts,
There is a requirement in the business process like we file multiple invoices to customer account and he pays the amount in single payment. So what we need here is to clear all the invoice document in customer account against that payment.
Please tell is there anyway to achieve it at FI level.

Hi,
You can clear them by defining clearing rules in OB74 for customer account type D. You should have your customer posting for collection based on a defined criteria based on some assignment number or something else that you will give in OB74..Based on the criteria that you will specify in OB74 system will match the open item invoices against their payment document and clear them accordingly. e.g you give assignment number ZUONR in OB74 for clearing criteria..It means that all of your invoices should have the same assignment number in Invoices as of the assignment number entered in Collection or payment document. Afterward you can clear customer in F.13 ..

I have created single sales Order, Single OBD, Two billing documents against singel OBD and successfully created excise invoice against first billing document. while created excise invoice against second billing document system issues following eror message.
Modvat utilization done already for 22730123 of Delivery 9630331
    Message no. 8I446
Diagnosis
      Modvat utilization done already for mentioned billing document
Procedure
      Check the billing document entered.

check your excise related setting whether allowed for multiple excise document for a multiple billing document.
check the already created excise document for the value. if its fully matched. you have to reverse and you have to enter the correct amount and re-create for the two billing documents

When creating an audio track to record vocals through a single condenser mic, is there a difference between selecting mono or stereo? if so, what's the difference?

Assuming your source is mono, there will be no sonic difference, and recording to a stereo Logic track will simply waste disk space. If you have a stereo microphone (i.e. it's actually a pair of mics packaged together), then it makes sense to record in stereo. If you're using a standard single microphone, record to a mono Logic track.

Q. How to get multiple results from a single column in a recordset using PHP

Hope someone can help. I have a column called categories and about 5 categories listed. I want to show all products that are listed in say 2 categories. I only have basic php skills so only know how to pass a url value to show the products from 1 category e.g.

Questions is how do I get the products from multiple categories to show e.g. all products from categories 'fruit', 'dairy', 'meat'

My guess is that you are trying to build a web application without having first learned the basics on PHP and SQL. That's certainly the hard way.

Multiple Shipment cost against single shipment doc

Dear Gurus,
We have a scenario in Transportation process.
We are sending a shipment which contains three delivery docs each contains 100 qty, so total 300 qty.
There are three invoices invloves in this shipment against each delivery doc. This shipment goes to the Transporter's warehouse and the inward happens one by one invoice basis as per the cutomer's request. Say, when the customer inwards the first delivery transporter will submit his first freight bill to us. we clear that bill, then next bill...so on..
Here from one shipment document multiple shipment costs need to be created. Is this possible? If not what could be the soultion for this issue?

Thankx a lot for ur reply and giving some more light . However, My requiremnt is not to create multiple shipment documents in VT01N against one delivery and not all the customers have the web site updation on GRN details but ofcourse some of them.
I have two issues here..
1. My client sends a consignement which contains multiple deliveries each belongs to deifferent Routes thru' a transporter. For the transporter it's like a collection point. He collects the goods and takes to his place further distributing the goods to the respective destination. (like a courier agent).
2.As i xplained before, as per the GRN of the customer basis they pay the frieght bills (weekly) . It happens for a whole delivery or invoice qty only.
How to address this? Is this a only way to create one to one basis of shipment & delivery doc?
Pls suggest.

Simplest way to disassemble the multiple xml records to single xml record?

I just want to know the what can be the simplest way to disassemble the input xml file into single records.
Can we use built in XML disassemble component in custom pipeline to disassemble? If yes, how can we do it.
Or what is other way to do it.

Why you don't want to use Envelop Schema? Is there any specific reason for that?
Creating envelope schema won't be a tough task you just need to make Envelop property of Schema to Yes and set Body Xpath to the container record for the child records you wish to process individually.
Also you will have to create schema representing your child xml structure.

Also, as John suggested you don't even have to create a custom pipeline as the debatching can be done using default XML Receive pipeline itself.

How to Disassemble Varying Multiple Repeating Records from Single Row

I have a flat file that has hundreds of thousands of rows. Each row is a new record.
On each row there are about 23 elements that occur once per row and then there are two groups of 4-6 fields each group that repeat a certain number of times. There is an integer field before each group that indicates how many times the group repeats
0 or greater. An few examples rows are the following.

Just using and unbounded record with the group order type set to sequence. each row could have 0 to hundreds
of groups. And I've been able to process files with millions of rows.
I'm wondering if there is a way to check the integer number in order to tell the group how many records
there will be?

Im afraid whether you will be able to upload multiple plant and sales view together in one post. Probably check the BAPI which one of our sdn guys have suggested.
I have only used IDocs to post and through that i can say you for sure, it is only possible to upload one at a time.
And so does through your MM01 and MM02. You can attach only one plant at a time.

Reg valuationof an M.I.C in result recording

we are working for an engg inductry, when we do result recording and if it is out of spec some rework is done can we do resul recording for that in same insp lot i.e we want an M.I.C which should not valuate the result
If we want M.I.C wherein we can carryout multiple result recordings for same lot if it fails again we can submit

Following can be done provided that you are not taking UD of the inspection lot containing the MIC's :--
You can use the Inspection points for the Inspection lot Say In the Task list header you enter "Free Defined Inspection points"
Also Enter the sampling procedure against each MIC in the char level.Make sure that you have created the sampling procedure with inspection points.
This setting will allow you to do multiple result recording for the same set of MIC's
But If you are doing usage decision of the lot then you may explore the concept of "Long Term Inspection" in control in dicator of the Char.

Default defect class during results recording

Hi all,
In the inspection plan I have maintained target value 20, lower limit 19 and upper limit 21 for one MIC which has single recording. When I do results recording for the MIC, I entered value 18, 20, 20, 20, 21, 18 was rejected automatically with a defect class Major defect A. Where is the default defect class from? If I want to enter a different one, how to change it?
The only place I can imagine is the configuration of Catalog 9 Defect Class in which defect class is assigned to each Code, but in my case no Code was selected.
Please help.

Hi,
Follow the path QCC0> Quality planning> Basic Data> Catalog> Define defect class.
In this field, you can customize the details as per your need.
Once done, you need to assign it to Plant level setting as told by Rohit.

As per the scenario you mentioned.
You can't create multiple Excise Invoice against Single GRPO. And as per the law of excise also there is no way to do like this.
Gate Pass made against delivery when some vendor send the item to the client. Time quantity and rate with the duties are mentioned in that.
similarly when client received the material all the above should be there in the gate pass.
