i have one issue,i.e,our plant&machinary is used in multiple shifts,depreciation rate from one shift to another shift varies,how can i customise and in asset master data where i can find the multiple shift tab.

Multiple OS issues with Email set up; "People" ; Synching phone not working as advertised

So far I have spent 14 hours attempting to resolve what feel like endless errors and bugs. If I can;t get these resolved in the next 48 hours the phone goes back. I am so disappointed I waited especially for this phone - heard great stuff. My experience is it sucks. Worst phone ever.
1) POP3 email accounts are non functional. I have attempted to set up and delete and re-set up now multiple times. Each time presents a fresh new nightmare.
Issue 1 - Email account receives email but will not send. Error message goes something like <" Problem sending message. Message failed to send. Problem with Files or Data on your device." >
Issue 2 - Tapping email + accounts sends me back to start screen cannot even set up account
Issue 3 - I get to add email account I enter my information but no account is created
Issue 4 - I set up an account and I get an error message stating my information cannot be found.
Issue 5 - trying to open email from start screen just resets to start screen over and over and over NEVER opens the account.
These are deal breaker issues. I have multiple email accounts on different platforms. If I cannot access my various emails AND send from those accounts this is NOT the phone for me.
2) PEOPLE does not function. ALSO multiple various issues and never the same one twice.
Issue 1 - I tap on a contact and get sent to the start screen over and over and over and over again.
Issue 2 I tap on a contact and the phone freezes and wont respond unless I pull the battery
Issue 3 I open a contact and make an edit, save the contact but the change is never reflected in the list
Issue 4 I try and search for a contact and the search freezes - only option is to return to start screen
3) Scrolling thru any APP randomly takes me back to start screen.
I dread attempting to synch Outlook calendar and contacts on my PC to hotmail - especially if I can't even set up email. And it seems like even holding it will jettison me out of anything I'm doing and back to start screen.
If I can't get these issues resolved. look like I'll be going back to my 3 year old Blackberry Bold which performed flawlessly. It may not be the most impressive phone out there but it did what I needed it to do with out any issues.

Interesting Twitter conversation VZWSupport on Twitter. It was suggested to try a HARD reset - and if that doesn't work take the phone back.
Since I don;t have anything set up yet that's my solution.

A different take on the "Save For Web" color shift issue...

Ok, everyone who has fussed much with photoshop and "Save For Web" knows about the color shift issue. If you want your colors to look right after you "save for web", you have to work in the sRGB colorspace, and have Proof Colors checked (soft proofing on) and the proof color setup set to Monitor RGB, otherwise what you get looks terrible when displayed in a browser.
But of course if you are editing for print, this is exactly what you DON'T want to do. Well, I work in both. In fact, often the same images, and I want them to appear as close as reasonably possible in both print and web formats, and without a lot of fussing on my part. And I'm pickiest about the print mode, since I have the most control there, so that's the way I want to edit by default.
Nothing new here.
Now comes the interesting part (in my mind, anyway). Obviously there is a known remapping -- because PhotoShop DOES it when you select Proof Colors. So the inverse mapping must also be known (with some gamut issues, but I'm not concerned with those, because, after all, I'm VIEWING it on a monitor anyway!). What I want is a plug-in that automatically applies that inverse mapping so that, when I do a Save For Web, I end up with the colors I've been viewing all the time when setting the shot up in print mode. Then, too, I don't have to worry about what mode I'm in when I'm editing -- it just fixes it when doing a save-for-web.
Again, I want to edit in my normal print mode (typically ProPhoto colorspace, and with soft-proofing off or set to the printer/medium combination I expect to use), then do a single operation (might be a multi-step action) to "screw up" my colors so that when I then do a "Save-For-Web", the resulting image, when viewed on the average color-stupid browser, looks like the image I've been seeing in Photoshop.
Anyone know of such a beast?   I would gladly pay for a plug-in that really works and fixes the problem.
And if you have other solutions, I'm interested, but the absolute requirement is that it I do one single edit pass for my colors for both print and web use, and I get what I see on the screen in PS on both the prints and on the web display (i.e., working in sRGB/Monitor RGB mode all the time won't cut it). Sorry, I think I'm being unclear. This has nothing to do with individual monitor profiles. In Proof Setup, "Monitor RGB" amounts to turning off ALL color management, and simply letting the monitor do what it will. It is what the vast majority of web browsers do (even if the operating system provides color management, the browsers don't take advantage of it), so that is what you need to consider for images that will be viewed on a web browser. If you convert your image to sRGB, select Monitor RGB in Proof Set up, and turn on Proof Colors, you will see the image as it would appear on a web browser (after you save it as a jpg or use "Save For Web/Devices" to save it as a jpg).   Since almost everyone is running different uncalibrated monitors, there will be lots of variation in how it will look to them, so precise control of the color is unimportant.
That said, I would expect the color on a calibrated monitor (such as the one I use when editing) to be reasonably close to the colors I am seeing while editing in PS. To the extent a monitor deviates from "calibrated", those colors will vary, but a good monitor should show good colors.   Unfortunately, this is NOT the case, as my previous post shows. The colors produced by the steps above are oversaturated and significantly shifted in hue. There is, to my mind, anyway, no reason for this. Adobe clearly knows what the mapping is between the colors as it displays them in PS and the un-controlled "Monitor RGB" -- that is, it is the color map they are using during normal editing display. If they were to reverse-apply that map prior to saving it as a jpg, then the image would appear on a browser on that same (presumably calibrated) monitor very similar to what you set up when editing. Anyone else viewing the image on a web browser with a calibrated monitor would also see good colors. To the extent other viewers' monitors are out of calibration, their colors will suck, but there's nothing you can do about that.
I guess in some sense I AM "asking for a Color-Mamangement-solution for a "non-Color-Management-situation", but specifically I'm asking for PS Color Management to do the best it can for non-Color-Managed situations that we all face every day.
Does that make more sense?

I spent all day Googling and doing side by side comparisons of my old and new systems.
My display is a Dell U2410. It has several presets, including sRGB and Adobe RGB. I've been using sRGB.
On my OLD system, (Win XP, PsCS2, DwCS4) there seems to be no distinction between color managed and non color managed apps, even on this wide gamut display. I could capture (digital camera) in Adobe RGB, open and edit in PsCS2, save as .psd, convert to CMYK for print, or convert to sRGB for SFW. All images looked identical and they printed and displayed perfectly. I thought this was normal, and seemed logical. This also seems to be the source of my incorrect assumptions. I was trying to get my new machine to behave like my old one.
So I get this new machine (Windows 7, PsCS5, DwCS5) and now (still in sRGB display mode) all color managed apps appear de-saturated. Non color managed apps are OK. If I switch the display to Adobe RGB, color managed apps are OK, but non color managed apps are way too saturated. From my investigation, I believe this is normal behavior on a wide gamut display. I've tried changing the Control Panel > Display > Screen Resolution > Advanced settings > Color Management options, but to no avail. Either I'm missing something, or Windows 7 is doing color management differently.
It seems my only option now is to use Adobe RGB display setting for Ps, etc. and switch to sRGB for Dw and non color managed apps. Or, have 2 separate files for print and web. I've Googled 'til my eyes are numb and still not sure I'm getting this. Any enlightenment would be greatly appreciated.

Multiple shift registers in For loop

I'm using multiple shift registers to find the number of different string in a string array. However, the shift register got refreshed every time it finds a different string and returns back to 0. How can I have the register remember its previous value after it encounters a new string value?

You should think about making your code scalable. At the moment, you need to re-architect the VI from scratch whenever the sensor names or their number changes. If you suddenly have 1000 sensor names, the code would be unmamangeable because the sheer number of cases and shift registers!
Attached is an simple alternative. As you can see, the code remains the same, even if the number of sensors or their names changes in the future. See if it makes sense. (You can easily modify it to also count unrecognized names, for example).
Modify as needed.
Some other possible bugs in your VI:
You should initialize the shift register with zero, not one. Right now the results are one too high.
Case "B" is actually "B." and the count is only accidentally correct because it is also the default case and there are no other sensor names (e.g. F) in the input array.

Multiple shift depreciation - as per Indian Companies Act

Dear Friends,
I have problem configuring multiple shift depreciation. Facts of case are as below.
In one year
My plant runs 150 days in single shift = depreciation 4.75% for 150 days
My plant runs 100 days in double shift = depreciation 7.42% for 100 days
My plant runs 165 days in three shift = depreciation 10.34% for 165 days
How should i map this is sap. I can enter shift factor as 1,2 and 3. But how will i get depreciation rate as 7.42% for 100 days and 10.34% for 166 days.

As per my knowledge depreciation as per companys act only will depreciate as per the shift system(01 depr.area), As per Income Tax Act depreciation based on the lessthan 180 days or more than 180days in the fiscal year.
please check with your client how they are mapping in legessy system and let me know.

Field shift issue?

I'm experimenting with a mix of footage and I think I may have a field shift issue on some of it, from DV sources, mixed in with standard 1920 x 1080 HD. I'm using an AJA IOExpress to monitor on an external plasma, it looks a bit jittery but I can't really tell. How can I check this before outputting my movie as a QuickTime, to have my online staff put to tape? It used to be easy - the Kona output would be a reference, down HDSDI.

Multiple Goods Issue documents for single delivery?

I am getting multiple goods issue documents for single delivery.
In a order there are 3 line items, and one delivery is created and 3 goods issue documents.
What is the probable reasons for this.
The requirement is for one order with n items there should be one delivery document and one goods issue document.
Inputs requested.

Since you havent put the issue in details, I have listed my guessses.
This may be happening due to mainly these three reasons. Please answer them and get back to me.
1) The three Good issue may be happeneing due to split delivery active for the item. If yes then correction should be in the Material master.
2) the availability check scheduled is set in that way. If yes please configure the availability and transfer of requirement.
3) Scheduling of the goods throught that particular shipping point. If yes then please conficgure the shipping tab in Logistic Execution.
Please let me know if the problem persists and award points if solved.

My dv5 laptop has an internal "typing" noise/multiple security issues

I'm not sure if this is a problem, but since I've had all kinds of issues with this particular model (the first Pavilion we were sent by HP had to be returned because the engineers finally deemed it unfixable), I thought I'd ask. I'm a little nervous about a sound that makes me think of little gremlins inside the unit typing away. It's not constant, but I'm wondering if that's normal and what the noise is.
Another problem is that periodically I'll get a message about the computer having "multiple security issues". I then do a virus scan, which turns out fine, so I don't know what it means.

The Intel chipset issue is not at all related for your Notebook. Its quite unfortunate you are facing this problem as I would say its a coincidence that even your second hard drive went bad so soon.
Time for you to RMA the new hard drive.

Multiple CS6 issues

Hi -
At work we recently got upgraded to CS 6 and I've encountered multiple functional issues which have slowed our workflow down considerably.
1) Drag and dropping from either the color or line swatches on the bottom of the tool bar (at right) no longer works. Dragging and dropping from the color pallet (fill or line) does not work either. In order to change color of an object we either have to create a NEW object with the new line or fill color and eye dropper it, or select the object- go to the CMYK (or RGB) sliders and enter the numerical version of the colors we want. VERY tedious.
2) for the reasons listed in #1, the gradient tool has become nearly unusable. You simply can not drag new colors into the gradient to edit it at all. The gradient tool has always been somewhat difficult to use- with CS6 it has become useless.
3) there are numerous glitchy interface issues that have cropped in- just one is the PMS swatch libraries- trying to get the library to list by name does not work periodically and the search swatch by number option randomly disappears and reappears. Recently the option to search field has disappeared completely and scrolling through the PMS swatch book constantly jumps back to the top (PMS 100 yellow) when trying to select colors. This effectively makes using the PMS swatches useless. We've had to do a work around by importing shapes filled with certain PMS colors and eye dropper them as needed. Not a great way to work as you can imagine.
Has anyone else encountered these issues and are there work arounds? We've done re-installs and that has not helped so far. Please note they are not letting us upgrade to CS Cloud version so no help there either. yay.

Multiple iPhone Issues

Hello,
I have been having multiple iPhone issues after updating my phone to iOS 6.1 and restoring it my phone number is grayed out on Facetime and iMessage in Settings and sometimes when I go to the app store the old app store design loads that was in iOS 5 and the search and updates and buttons below get reaaranged
It looks like that in messages and Facetime
NOTICE THAT THE EMAILS AND NUMBER ARED EDITED!
Please help me fix this issue

have you tried turning off imessage in settings and then turning it back on again to re-activate? have you tried resetting the phone by holding the sleep/wake button and the home button until the phone restarts?

Multiple freeze issues on my laptop

Hello.
I'm experiencing multiple freeze issues lately. Inspecting all logs available but found nothing.
1. sometimes gdm freezes while switching users in Gnome 3. I share my laptop with my wife, separate accounts. While switching from one user to another, somethimes gdm (screen with account names) hangs, in situations when both users are logged or one is not. Only thing that helps is to switch to console, log in and restart gdm.
2. I had issues with suspend, so I turned off suspend based on inactivity. Now sometimes when laptop has some idle time and is inactive, screen turns off. Then it hands, all leds are on, unable to wake (turn on display), nothing works, switching to console, nothing.
3. Total freeze while logging into Gnome 3 session of my wife. Black screen, all leds on, only hard turn off (long press power button).
I inspected all logs in /var/log, also .xsession-errors in both home folders of both users. Can't find anything .... I'm desperate. Please post some tips, how to log more. I can't even submit or search for some bugs as I can't determine even what is the cause.

Format on multiple columns issue ...

I'm having issues with the way the data is displaying.I am using the Format Multiple Columns.I have 3 across set.I have the Down and Across checked.My report with the 3 columns is a custom labels sheet.I need to have the down part always be 8 columns.i can't set that anywhere like the 3 columns across.as the sheet used to print the info are labels and perforated for each label (column)I have the following:1.
Group Header #1 on InvoiceNumber. This have my invoice header
information related to the customer of the invoice. Keep Together
selected.2. Group Header #2 on a formula {@sort}. This is suppressed and as a {@reset} formula in it.3. Details section has {@accum} and section suppressed. Keep Together selected.4. Group Footer #2 as the {@display} formula with Paragraph Formatting. Keep Together selected.5. Group Footer #1 on InvoiceNumber has add'l customer related info for the invoice.so 5 sections in my design view with 2 groups.It'll display the information in InvoiceNumber order in ascending order down first.But the last one on the 1st column is only part of the invoice info and the rest of it starts from the top of the 2nd column.and
then shifts all the columns according to that. Which of course then
does not print on the allotted space of the actual label. part of info
is on one and the rest on another.obviously this won't work. I think i tried everything I can think of and I'm not expert. Barely a novice at this.any help would be appreciated!

In the layout tab, have you tried the Gap between details ?, you should be able to produce a "mailing label type" report using detail size and gap between details...

Multiple backup issues???

I have a bit of an issue that I'm trying to sort out and was hoping that someone could shed a little light on. It's was supposed to be a simple solution that has turned into a massive pile of confusion over the course of a year.
I'm a photographer and currently (temporarily) run a macbook pro as my main system with multiple Lacie external drives attached. I only have a 120 gb drive installed in the laptop which is usually too small so I have 250 GB drive (labeled as drive 1) which I use as for short term storage in the studio. I then have a 1 tb extreme (drive 2) that I use for storage where the files are always being accessed and modified. I then have a 250gb D2 (drive 3) that is running as a scratch disk for PhotoShop, as most of my files are about 500mb+ in size. These 3 drives are chained together running on a single firewire 800 lead.
Not constantly connected, I have a cloned copy of my macbook pro which I use Superduper for.
I then also keep offsite HD backups and DVD's of everything.
Where my problem is, I need a copy of the 1 tb drive so that it is running like a RAID 1 system as I don't always get around to bringing in the offsite drives but about once a month and quite a lot of changes happen over the course of a week. I just bought a new 1 tb drive today thinking that I could chain it to the rest and use Superduper to keep it updated. But looking more into it, it seems a bit more complicated then that to have it running effectively.
I know what I really need is a RAID 1, 4 disk enclosure but at the moment I have other things that I need to spend the £2000+ on before I can fork out on one.
So what I'm asking is if Superduper will do the job or is there another software that's better to run the two 1 tb drives like a RAID 1? Or is this just a mess that's about to blow up?

If you are going to re-install, make sure you have 1 or preferably 2 full backups using Time Machine and/or a clone.
Try booting into the Safe Mode using your normal account. Disconnect all peripherals except those needed for the test. Shut down the computer and then power it back up after waiting 10 seconds. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the shift key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. The boot up is significantly slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a directory check, and disables all startup and login items, among other things. When you reboot normally, the initial reboot may be slower than normal. If the system operates normally, there may be 3rd party applications which are causing a problem. Try deleting/disabling the third party applications after a restart by using the application un-installer. For each disable/delete, you will need to restart if you don't do them all at once.
