Multiple ShipTo parties

Dear Gurus,
How can we assign multiple ship-to parties to a sold to party? When a maximum of 999 ship-to's can be assigned to a sold-to, how can an assign shipto parties more than 999 to a sold to??
Moreover, when multiple ship-tos are there, in a sales order, can i make the system to throw a popup to show me the list of shipto's from which i can select the one i am interested in?
Thanks in anticipation.
Regards,
Tilak

One can define a maximum of 999 ship-to parties for a sold-to parties. In case you need to define more, the work-around can be that you make use of customer hierarchy. Refer to the link <a href="http://www.sap-img.com/sap-sd/customizing-customer-hierarchy-in-sd.htm">Customer hierachy</a> for more details and how to set-up the same.
In customer hierarchy, one can define the customers at say multiple level and then assign the partners in that district/area/Region, etc.
Regarding the other queries of making the ship-to parties pop-up at the time of order entry, the same can be achieved if you entry only the sold-to party in the order., this would make the system pop-up all the ship-to parties attached to the sold-to party.
The prequiste for this is that multiple ship-to parties are defined for the sold-to party in the customer master XD01/XD02

  • HP7680 inkjet printer prints narrow blank (white) lines in multiple specific parts of page

My HP7680 inkjet printer prints narrow blank (white) lines in multiple specific parts of each printed page. It appears to happen in the same parts of each page printed.
    - I installed new ink cartridges
    - I verified that the paper I’m using is the standard inkjet paper that I always use
    - In the tools section of the printer setup menu, I ran the “Clean Printhead”, “Align Printer”, and “Calibrate Linefeed” options
    - In reading the printer’s manual, it seems to imply that the printheads could be the problem.
    - So, I manually cleaned the printhead contacts
    - When I print the self-test diagnostics page, it shows printhead health to be “Good” for both. One of them was installed in January of 2009, and the other was installed March of 2008.
    - With a Q-tip, I even cleaned the clear plastic band that runs parallel to the carriage rod. (It was pretty dirty.)
Here's a scan of the printed output.
    Thanks for your help!

After a 2hr phone call with tech support, here is the solution; the L7600 Series printer have a firmware update (file name: OfficejetProK7600_R2011PxN.exe) my printer was bought in 2008 thus my print head is a 2008 model, and new print heads are a 2011 modem, they don’t work right in a 2008 model this is PER the tech rep and his name was John unless you upgrade the firmware.
So I upgraded the firmware from a 2004NxN to the 2011PxN and now my printer says damaged or missing print head, I place the original print head from 2008 back in the machine and it’s fine, so I bought a 3rd print head for 2011 and it says the print head is damaged.
After another 30min or so I was told I have a bad printer and sorry the warranty is out, but the old print head works but any new print heads do not, this sounds like a HP Error firmware / hardware compatibility issue, not my issue, but HP will not repair.
HP has no fix nor will they repair the printer.

  • Assign multiple internal parts (materials of different plants) to one MPN

    HI
I have a requirement to assign multiple internal parts (materials of different plants) to one manufacture part number.
but in HERS material type it allows to assign to only one .
can  any body suggest how can I do this.
    Sreeram

    You can do that.
1:Assign the new plant to the sales org / distribution channel - Enterprise structure
2:DO the shipping point determination for the new plant.
3:Extend the materials to the new plant.
4:If there is intercompnay process, please check "Assignmnet of organizational units to plants" in navigation SD - Billing - Intercompany billing.
5: Check if there are any pricing records, output records....et cwhich has Plant as parameters. if yes maintain the entries for the new plant.
These are the things I could think of.
Before deleting the existing plants, make sure there are no open documents existing for these plants, else system will not allow to delete.

  • Multiple customer part number in VD51

Hi we are maintaining customer part number in VD51for our SAP part number. ONE TO ONE for  a particular customer is possible.  but we need to maintain more than one customer part number for the same SAP part number and same customer is it possible is there any other way to achieve this ...b'cos our customer name same part A as X in one project and Y in another project . they gave order by their part numbers only

As long as the customer code is going to be the same, you cannot maintain multiple customer material codes against one SAP material code.  But you can cheat the system which I would not recommend :-((, by giving some space before the customer material code.

  • JSLinks affects multiple web parts

I have a page with two list view web parts one pointing to pages library and another to a custom list and created custom jslinks to render them and notice that one of the two jslinks affects both web parts, the second jslink has no effect. How to restrict
the jslink effect to only the web part which it is assigned to.
Secondly, I read about BaseViewID and ListTemplateType, assuming i have multiple custom lists on the same page how to control which web parts will be affected since all will be having the same ListTemplateType.
    Thanks

    Hi Shafeeq,
I've been trying to resolve the problem for some time now and have finally found the answer. I've blogged on it here.
    http://www.myfatblog.co.uk/index.php/2013/09/listview-web-part-issues-with-jslink-and-display-templates-a-solution/
The basic synopsis is, we register our display template against a BaseViewID of 99, we then override the RenderListView javascript supplied by Microsoft, perform logic on the context object, changing the baseviewid on the fly as required, then calling the
    original RenderListView function.
    I hope this helps.

  • Print Report - Choose from Multiple Formats Part II

    Hello again!
I followed the instructions to create a report that gives the client the option to select an output format using a select list. ( http://www.oracle.com/technology/obe/apex/apex31nf/apex31rpt.htm#t2 ).
This works great, but I have a predefined template that I created using BI Publisher that I would like the PDF report format to use instead of the generic layout. All the other formats can use the generic layout option, but the PDF report needs to use the .rtf file. Is this possible, and if so, how?
    Thank you!

Both the above solutions require a smartphone and app.
The answer regarding the rbox emotes themselves is no, they all send the same codes.

  • Multiple Shipto values at item level

    Hi Friends,
I'm facing some problem when I try to change the ship to value at item levels of VA02. The problem is,
In VA01, while creating a sales order, the configuration is done in such a way that after giving an item at item level, a sub-item will be generated automatically based on that main item. Now in VA02, for that newly created sales order, if I go to the details of the main item, and if I change the value of the shipto in Partner's tab, then it'll ask for redetermining the value and also for completing the delivery. After completing the delivery, if I save and go to display mode, the shipto value of the subitem level also should update. But it is not updating with the value of main item. Can any of you please suggest me the solution for my problem.
    Many thanks in advance.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Raghuveer K.

    Hi Soumyadip,
    Many thanks for your response.
I did the same thing. I checked it in both the userexits <b>uderexit_save_document</b> and uderexit_save_document_prepare. Even then it is not working. When I checked it by keeping a watchpoint, it is calling a function module RV_DELETE_POSITION_PARTNER. There it is deleting the subitem values. Since this is a standard prog, we don't have authorizations to avoid it. So how to overcome this issue.
    Please suggest me.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Can you cut multiple video parts from one video?

    Hi.
So like, I have 40 minutes long video. I want to cut this video in 20 parts. Do I have to cut every part separately and save project and than export .avi and do this 20 times for 20 parts, or am I able to mark 20 small video parts from one video in 1 project?
You know, I want twenty 2 minute long videos from 40 minutes video, but I want to find a way how to do it in 1 project, so I can put that project over Media Encoder and go to coffee meanwhile encoder is working.
    Thanks,

Hello sir. Thank you for fast response. I will check Encore on youtube if you think it is the way this should be done.
Hm, I found some topics which say you can't even cut in Encore, that you need Premiere.
Hm, can you provide some tutorial for Encore to show me how to do this sir?
    Thank you

  • Multiple Invoicing Parties in one PO

    Hello all,
I need to maintain in PO partner functions more than one vendor as invoicing party.
This happens because my PO vendor is actually a Temporary Group of Vendors associated.
All IV activies can be carried through by all members of the group.
Up to now I get system message
ME359 - only one Invoicing party can be entered
Is there a way to by-pass this control?
    Thanks

    Hi,
It is no possible to by pass this message. This is standard functionality of SAP.
If you have different IP than specified in PO then you can change it during LIV in MIRO under "Details" tab.

  • Multiple Invoicing parties

    Hello experts,
it sometimes happens that the vendor sends the invoice with the freight charges to be paid to the company delivering the goods.
How can we include the goods and freight charges in the same PO and pay the concepts to the corresponding invoicing party?
    Thanks,
    VL

    Experts,
once in transaction miro to post the invoice referred to the PO number the system doesn't show the freight charges (assigned to a different vendor in the detail of the condition in the PO) but only the cost for the good or service (PR00).
The accounting document generated in MIRO doesn't take in to account the freight charges.
However, the PO structure in MIRO show the freight charges as outstanding.
    Thanks,
    VL

  • Multiple Menu Parts

    Hello Everyone!!
I have been charged, by my school, with the wonderful challenge of placing all 110 (or so) Year 8 Speeches onto DVD for Archival purposes.
I would like to try to have the following outline on the DVD, but I need to know if anyone has had success with the same type of mapping of their DVD, made in iDVD.
    Okay, here goes…
Menu 1: Play Movie --> Plays all 110 (or so) 2-3 minute speeches
Scene Selection --> Has five (5) choices: Class A, Class B, Class C, Class D, and Class E.
Menu 2, 3, 4, 5, & 6: Is to have the class alphabetical lists linking the student's name to their own speech.
I am not up with all the jargon, so please bear with me. But, if anyone has attempted this and succeeded, I would be greatful for their response. In the meanwhile, I'll keep trying with mock versions of the real thing. Hopefully, I won't stumble across a solution and then forget what I did!
Thanks in advaance for your assistance.
    Rodger.
    iMac G5, 2.0Ghz, 2.0GB RAM   Mac OS X (10.4.7)   iDVD 6.0.2, 120GB La Cie D2 FW400 Hard Drive, 250GB La Cie D2 FW400 Hard Drive

    Hello Rodger,
with that many movies you run into a number of limitations in iDVD:
    1. A single Layer DVD will hold a maximum of 120 min of video. As this includes menus, I would recommend keeping it at 110 min. Another solution could be a Double Layer DVD (240 min), but it would be a close call, if possible at all.
    2. If I remember well, each menu can have a maximum of 12 items. The maximum number of chapters is 99.
Apart from the disk spac limitations, the menu order you suggest is not possible. You cannot cross-link the individual chapters in this manner.
what you could do is this:
    • create 5 Movies in iMovie (Class A, B, C etc), in which you import the appropriate speeches.
    • arrange the clips (speeches) in alphabetical order by student name.
    • set a chapter marker for each speech.
    • Import each movie into a separate iDVD project. Make sure the option "automatically create chapter submenus" is checked.
    • burn to 5 SL DVDs
Make sure you stick to "The Rules of Chapter Markers":
    - No chapter markers on or within 2 seconds of a transition.
    - No chapter markers within 2 seconds of the beginning or the end of the movie.
I guess, that's as close as I can come to your original plan. Hope it helps

  • One ship to party multiple delivery points

senario: customer has two retail stores store A in city x and store B in city Y,how to add two different unloading points to the cmr and how the system picks the unloading point where to specify the unloading point for a particular specially if the customer has more than one unloading points and also Q2- we have one  sold to party and 3 ship to parties how to split a single order so that we can ship it to 3 different parties please guide me

    Hello,
You have mentioned one ship to party and two delivery points.  I think there is small mistake in your sentence.
Is it One sold to party and two delivery points (Ship to Locations)? If yes, Follow below.
    1. Create one sold party (who is actually a customer who owns the two retail outlets in two different cities)
    2. Create One Ship to Party - A for City X Delivery Point and Maintain the appropriate Unloading point as per the customer req.
    3. Create one more ship to party - B for City Y Delivery point and Maintain the appropriate Unloading point as per the customer req.
    4. Goto XD02 and Enter the Sold to Party and Link the Two Ship to Parties (A and B) to the Sold to party.
During Order creation for the sold to Party, the System will give you the pop-up to select the right ship to party for a sale transaction.
*Second Question on Delivery split for all the three shipto Parties:*
As and when the sales order contains the Multiple Items to deliver to the Multiple shipto's. You need to maintain the different shipto parties at the sales order Item level - Partners and Maintan the right shipto number per each Item.
When you create the delivery, Automatically the split happens for each Item per each shipto party. This is a standard functionality.
Note that: whenever the system finds the below changes in sales order item level, the delivery will split automatically.
Shipping point, delivery date, ship to party, route.
Hope it helps. Let me know if not.
    Thanks,
    Ram.

  • JMS Topic - Can there be multiple pubs/subs

I belive JMS Topic supports multiple publishers, subscribers
for the same topic right? I am sure about the multiple subsicriber part because
I have done it before (with one publisher). However, I am changing my
design to have multiple publishers now as well. Is this possible?
              Thanks
