Multiple signatures (and certificates) for one user

I’m using Adobe 8 Standard. 
I need two signatures with the same name but with two separate and distinct companies (old and new).  Thus, I would two separate and distinct signatures to be associated with two certificates (old and new respectively).  I was able to create a second “new” signature and a second “new” certificate.  However, when I sign with the second “new” signature, the signature’s properties show the first “old” certificate. 
Can this be fixed?*

Couldn't see the forest for the trees ... select the appropriate certificate at the top of the Sign Document dialogue box ... duuhhh!!!!

    Good afternoon (GMT),
    we're dealing with a Win XP (SP3) system that is set up by an Administrator. One task is to set up the system in a way that all users (w/o admin rights) become able to read a certified-protected PDF. Currently we know a way to install the "public key" for this certificate only for one known user. But how to proceed when not all users are known? The users shall later on never be asked to confirm the certification installation/registration.
    If it helps, here is the software version:
    Acrobat 8.12 to encrypt the PDF via certification. In near future I will switch to Acrobat 9.x
    Reader 7.x and/or 8.x on customer PCs.

    BTW: Next time we want to provide a solution for Win7 systems, too.

  • Unable add Signature in Webaccess for one user

    We have Signatures setup in Webacces for users that want them
    One one user just can't add a signature
    When tick box for Enable Signature is enabled the dropdown box for signature is BLANK
    New has no effect except to Clear the Enable Signature tick box!
    and save has no effect
    Tried Text and Html
    With new Account I've noticed there is a --- in the Dropdown box - but NOT for this user!
    (probably a default account name perhaps)
    Anyway to fix this ?

    Tried them all....Chrome, IE10, Firefox 25

  • Firefox not loading graphics and pictues for one user

    I am running 10.2.8 with Firefox 1.5.0.11 and one of the user accounts on my mac is not loading web pages properly. The IE for mac on that same account is working fine. All other accounts on the machine have firefox and work fine.
    It must be a preference for that user account but trashing the firefox plist for that account doesn't help.
    Can anyone help?

    Thank you for your help.  Do you know how to clear the user setting to fix this problem as stated in the link?  I do not want to create a new user to fix this because it will take awhile to re-create the users custom menus, and it appears the the person in the other post continued to have the same problem after a couple of months after repeatedly creating new users.
    We have used SAP Business One for 5 years without having this problem, and it just recently started happening, but only for the one user.

  • Multiple websites and applications using one user database

    I've got several applications and websites that will be built around one main application. In a perfect situation users will be able to register once and be able to log into the different applications and websites using that single account. The different
    parts will be:
    Main application (Windows application) that uses the account to get access to it's features and to the server.
    Second application with it's own specific tasks (Also a Windows Application) that uses the account to get access to it's features and to the server.
    Main website which is based on Wordpress. The website has a bbPress forum that would use the account.
    Data server which can be accessed for specific data using the account.
    Most of the data that the users have will be the same for the different applications and websites so to me it seems that having a database for each separate part would complicate things more than having one database for everything.
    My main concern is the Wordpress site and bbPress forum because of the fact that these already have their own account systems.
    What would be a valid approach? Using one of the existing databases from Wordpress or the forums with the risk of having a lot of Wordpress/bbPress specific data with the accounts or making a database especially for the other applications and websites and
    somehow linking those to the website and forum databases? Would the valid approach be secure for use by these different applications and websites?

  • HT202213 Home sharing.  Multiple ipods and more than one user..... Do they all need seperate accounts?

    I have set my kids ipods up on home sharing.  Now when their games on each personal ipod, they are the same user.  Is there any way of changing this?  Or do I have to make each kid a seperate account and buy all of these games twice? 

    It doesn't look like anybody had any answers for me, but its no big deal as I solved it myself. The problem was dependent on the WebLogic's implementation of their security context and hence there probably isn't a generic solution. It turns out that WebLogic can associate a user object with each thread. If a thread does not have a user object associated with it, it uses the default user which is assigned the first time a user signs in. The problem was that the application thread was used to initially sign in, but the awt event thread was used to access the ejb. Since the awt thread had no context it would use the default.

  • How to open multiple sessions for one user?

    Sorry for the silly question but I couldn't find it googling or searching through this forum, so I started wondering whether it's possible in SQL Developer to open multiple sessions for one user. I'm fairly new to SQL Developer and databases in general.
    When I open SQL Developer and connect to a schema, a worksheet opens named MYSCHEMA. If I disconnect then connect, another worksheet opens, named MYSCHEMA~1. I assumed these were different sessions, but if I enter into one worksheet:
    select col1 from my_table where row_id = 1
    -- shows result is 1
    update my_table set col1 = 0 where row_id = 1
    select col1 from my_table where row_id = 1
    -- shows result is 0and then enter into the second worksheet:
    select col1 from my_table where row_id = 1
    -- shows result is 0I would have expected the second worksheet to report 1 because the first worksheet did not issue a COMMIT. Thus, I'd guess both worksheets are the same session? Is that right? If so, how do I have two sessions open simultaneously (opened by same user)?

    Ctrl-Shift-N doesn't do anything for me. I'm on a mac -- by experimenting it looks like command-N does what you're looking for. This appears to be the same as left-clicking on the "New" icon in the top left corner of SQL Developer, or selecting from the pull-down menu, File > New.
    This opens "Create a New" window that appears to be a wizard. What would I select at this point? Options are: Database Connection, Table, View, Package, ...
    I don't see an option for "Worksheet".
    UPDATE:
    OK, I found that if I select "SQL File", a worksheet becomes available. Perhaps this is what you intended. However, when I issue the command
    select col1 from my_table where row_id = 1;it still returns 0 instead of 1. Hmm, maybe my initial assumption was wrong -- if this is a second (e.g. different) session, should I expect the changes made in the first session in SQL Developer (the UPDATE command) WITHOUT a commit, to be observed in this second session? I thought that changes made in one session were not viewable in a different session until these changes are committed in the first session? If so, how to show this in SQL Developer? I must be missing something basic here.
    Or, is SQL Developer issuing some sort of "auto-commit" without my knowledge?

    'BBPSC11' error in Monitor SC for one User - having multiple positions in org structure - but having one BP code associated to all positions.
    We have one BP ID associated to multiple positions of the same user - in multiple org structure.
    The org unit is refered as one Project and like wise we have multiple projects people worked on.
    Once the Proj is over we move the Users from one Proj (Org unit) to another Proj, with new Position created copying the old and associate old BP code to it.
    With this when we go for Monitor SC option - enter User ID in Created By field - old SC are listed but we are getting error if we click on the Detail icon.
    Error:The Internet Transaction Server could not start the transaction "BBPSC11" because of the following error: Attribute for user contains errors. Inform systemadmin. .

    Pl. verify the user with txn-bbp_attr_check. It could be that the org. relationship of the user changed with what was captured on shopping cart. Also use txn-users_gen to repair the user.

    According to your post, my understanding is that after client upgraded to Office 2013 the option for Upload multiple document was grayed out.
    I try to reproduce the issue in my environment, however everything works well.
    My configuration of system is:
    Windows 8.1;
    IE11;
    Office 2013 32bit.
    Please repair the Office 2013 to check whether it works.

    The Creative Cloud subscription is not OS specific as it's licensed via your Adobe ID.
    You can purchase a single subscription and use it on 2 machines irrespective of it being Windows or Mac.

  • Safari works for one user but not another on same computer

    MacBook with multiple user accounts. Safari (and Firefox) work fine for one user but are unable to open web pages when the other user is logged in. The error in Safar is "Safari can't open the page "http://xxxxxxxxx/" because it could not connect to the server "/xxxxxxx/" . DNS is working for this user. I am able to ping any number of sites from Terminal. Network Preference pane is configured to not require any proxy. This is a case of it was working but now it's not.
    Can anybody help with this? I know I can fix this by simply creating another user and transfering the affected user's data to the new account but I would rather not. TIA

    You can test your settings by clicking the big "Test My DNS" button at <https://www.dns-oarc.net/oarc/services/dnsentropy>. If you see "Poor" on any of the tests, don't use that domain name server! Remove it from Apple Menu => System Preferences =>Network =>DNS Servers or similar location in your router if you've got a 'home network'. If all you have is "poor" DNS servers in your list, call your ISP and insist that they give you the address of a name server which is protected against the recently exposed DNS cache-poisoning threat.
    Also, open System Preferences/Network. Click the DNS tab. Add these numbers in the DNS Servers box.

    Please see this 'sysresv' output. It returns multiple shared memory IDs for one database (althouth all are 0s except one). Why is this? Does it matter? It seems not eating up memory. Stop and start database didn't help.

    First off, thanks in advance!  I am a scripting newbie and I am trudging my way through with very little experience with scripting of any kind.  I am good at taking other's scripts and forming them into something I need, but I can't seem to find anything to do what I want.
    Using Adobe Acrobat X, I am trying to create a toolbar button that I can press to create multiple signature and date fields with predetermined locations.
    Below is the script I have that is working to create just a single signature box, but I can't seem to figure out the exact syntax to have that same button create multiple fields.  In total it is 9 signature fields and 9 date fields need to be created.  If you can just give me an example of what the button would look like with multiple scripts?  I was assuming I would set up multiple variables and then in the cExec property of the toolbar button I could just call out all of those variables?

    I do have one more question.  What I want is when the signature field is clicked it fills out a specific date field. I beleive the script I want would be:

    I found this on another thread that mentioned it could be placed in the Signed tab of the signature properties dialog.  I am assuming it would be placed in my button script file as a setAction script for each signature, but I am not real sure exactly where or how?
