Multiple sites - is this the answer?

I searched high and low through the discussions to find out how to create and upload independent sites with iWeb and dotmac. Is this the answer? No third party software needed!
Create a new folder for "iWeb sites" (might not be needed - haven't tried)
Go into users/application support/iWeb
Copy the default Domain site into the "iWeb sites" folder
Rename the domain to a site name of your choice
Delete the domain in users/application support/iWeb leaving a blank folder in the library
Load iWeb by double clicking the site name of your choice in your new "iWeb sites" folder
Create a new site
Save
Quit iWeb
Copy the site and paste into your iWeb sites folder that you created.
Rename the copy to the new site of your choice.
Instead of opening iWeb from the icon, open from the new renamed site
Delete the "old" site leaving the just the new site
Save and open either site from the iWeb sites folder.
Voila?
All a bit clumsy but I expect someone with more experience can streamline the process? Do please let me (us) know if this is barking mad but so far I have created, uploaded and accessed several independent iWeb sites that I have created from the one dotmac account.

Since the introduction of iWeb '08 I have not followed the practice of duplicating a domain file and deleting the content to start a new site. I start with a new blank file. I did this because it seemed the sensible thing to do and not for any technical reason. After reading the comments on this subject by our resident genius, Cyclosaurus, and also on the 11Mystics site, I have stuck with this method.

I found it as I was doing a search to see why I don't have the login screen on my iPhone and iPad after IOS 7 update.....now I'm wondering if I ever it in the first place. That's accurate. If you go to icloud.com from Safari on your iPhone or iPad, the landing page gives you the options to set up iCloud on your device, and to instal iCloud apps. If you have documents like Pages docs, you can view and edit them from your iPad or iPhone through the Pages app.

Adding buttons to multiple frames -- is this the best way to do this?

In CS5, I want to create a series of buttons that when clicked will linked to other frames in the same timeline. So one button will link to frame 5, one will link to frame 10, one will link to 15, etc. All the buttons will appear across the top of the stage on a layer, and I want them to appear on all of the frames so the user can click back-and-forth to the different frames/screens.
1. Is the best way to do this to just add the buttons to frame 1 and add a keyframe to the last frame in the timeline, frame 15, so they are copied to all the frames in between?
2. Are there any issues with doing it this way?

Just have the one keyframe in frame 1 and extend it to frame 15. You do not need/want another keyframe at frame 15.

Best practice for running multiple sites on 1 CF install?

I'm setting up a new hosting environment (Windows Server 2008 Standard 64 bit VPS configuration, MySQL, IIS 7, CF 9)
Has anyone seen any docs or can anyone suggest best practices for configuring multiple sites in this environment? At this point I'm thinking simple is best, one new site in IIS for each client (domain) and point it to CF.
Given this environment, is anyone aware of any gotchas within the setup of CF 9 on IIS 7?

There's nothing wrong with that approach. You can run as many IIS sites as you like against a single CF install.
As for installing CF on IIS 7, I recommend that you do the following: install CF 9 without connecting it to IIS, then installing the 9.0.1 upgrade and any hotfixes, then connecting CF to IIS using the web server configuration utility. This will keep you from having to install the IIS 6 compatibility layer that's needed with CF 9 but not with CF 9.0.1.

When one of my collegue giving the print, there is only one spool which is getting created, but when I run the program there are multiple spools are getting created.

FireFox crashes on multiple sites, when 1st opened, also has over 4 or 5 different FireFixes in the Task Manager running how do we fix this?

My PC, my wifes, dads, moms and kids PC all do this since the 14 update. I have updated ALL add-ons even removed some, also updated Flash and other programs, it will do this every time I open FF. Or if it does not crash rite away it will show 5+ of them open in Task Manager. It does this on multiple sites, I even reset FF 2 or 3 times, tried different start pages from Google, to Yahoo, to MSN even private sites I frequent it does not matter what I do it constantly crashes, can someone please fix this or figure out why tons of people are having this problem. This is very upsetting already upset about this darn idea of putting in FaceBook and crap like that integrated into FF that is a stupid move on its own seems more of a sell out I would expect that from IE but not from FF whom we have trusted for years.

You can check for problems caused by a recent Flash 11.3 update and possibly downgrade to Flash 11.2 or 10.3.

Every site now requires I answer the cookie question every time I open the site. This can be as many as 20 cookies for a given site.

1. First, go to http://appleid.apple.com. Underneath where it says "Already have an Apple ID?," click Manage your Account. You will then need to sign in. If you forgot your Apple ID or password, click on the appropriate "Forgot..." link below either of these fields.
2. After you sign in, click on "Passwords and Security" on the left.
3. You will be asked to answer the security questions, but you should also notice a link below the second "Answer" field offering to send reset instructions to your rescue email address that you provided.
4. Check the Inbox of your rescue email address. The email should appear within a minute or two. If it does not, be sure to check Spam. If it is not there either, you can repeat the above process to resend. Once you get the email, following the link will take you to a page where you must sign in again. Adding Multiple files to many Sharepoint Sites based on the Sites Code (Splitting the data using a code)

I'm pretty new to Sharepoint and wanted to ask a question to see if it can actually do what we need it to do.
We would have a top Site within a collection and under this we would have 400 sites for different sections of the business (External) Lots of teams create documents for all these sites and use the Code of the site in each document so we know what business
site its going to. For example 67890_BusinessReportMay.docx We know this document should be heading to site 67890
We have lots of services sending data to these 400 business sites. If we were to do them manually it would take most of our time to go to each site and upload the documents, even if we could do all the sites documents in 1 multiple upload. We still have
to go to each site to do it
Is there an easy answer to this? At present I have folders to match each of the 400 Sharepoint Sites and I use an Integration Services package to move all the documents into these 400 Matching folders. I do this using the Code at the start of each file name.
If it doesn't have a code its put into an error folder and reported back on.
Then I want something to automatically go through each of these folders and load them into the Sharepoint Sites document libraries.
OR
Say you have 600 files all going to the 500 sites on Sharepoint in one folder. The File contains meta data regarding the Sites Code. Using this you can split the files and automatically pull them across to the Sharepoint Sites without having to go
into each Sharepoint Site?
I'm thinking that you cant do this and I'm hoping I'm wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to move the documents to different sites based on the code in the name of the files.
I recommend to create workflow and set the workflow to start when an item is created to achieve this goal.

Select If current item field equals value, change the settings to be If Current Item: NO equals 67890.
Select Copy List Item Extended, change the settings to be Copy item in Current Item to list at site 67890 URL.
Select Delete Item, change the settings to be Delete Item in Current Item.
Create other conditions from step 3 to step 5 to copy the documents to different sites and delete current documents.

Pop up box in yahoo mail won't close, asks "do you use the yahoo! toolbar on multiple computers?" has option buttons but no response when clicking on anything, pop up box just sits there in the way

whenever I open my yahoo mail when using Firefox, a pop up box appears on the upper left side of the screen, it asks the question "do you use the yahoo! toolbar on multiple computers?" and gives click boxes for "Save to my yahoo ID" and "No thanks, just save to this computer". I get no response to clicking on either box, nor will the pop up close if I click on the "X" in the upper right corner of this pop up. It won't close out and it sits right over the top of the email messages in my inbox. All else seems to work fine, but can't get rid of this pop up box....very annoying.

Help with running iWeb on multiple computers and find the current site

I have two Macs and MobileMe. I have usually run iWeb on the laptop and have my website on it. I thought I saved the site in MobileMe. When I go to the desktop and open iWeb it opens up an old version of my site. I search for Domain and none of the options are the current site. On my laptop (the current iWeb version) I opened MobileMe's iDisk and tried a couple of the "Domains" that live on it and none of them are the current version. Now, I can't even get my laptop to open the one I had opened a few moments ago beacuse I can't find the newest domain. So, where is my current domain/ I can't find it.
I do have a folder on iDisk called "Sites" that contains the HTML files and folders of my current site but I can't seem to get this to open in iWeb. But, this folder does contain the current version but none of the Domain files I have opened refer to these I guess.
What should I do?

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. As you know for both of you to edit and update the web site both of you must be using the same version of iWeb and working on the same Domain.sites2 file.
See MacWorld's online article Managing an iWeb site from multiple Macs. However, there are a couple of caveats: 1 - only one can be editing and uploading at a time; 2 - allow plenty of time for Dropbox to update all copies of the domain file.
What I would do is when you plan on editing the site copy the domain file that's in your Dropbox as a backup. Do you editing and publish. If something goes wrong you'll have the good domain file that was copied just before you started editing. If the site is small and, thus, the domain file the updating will be better insured. Keep both computers online much of the time so the updates will go thru as soon as they are made.
