Multiple stereo outputs when creating a DNxHD MXF OP1a

Hi,
I'm trying to make some DNxHD MXF OP1a's from some source MOVs.
Problem is I am trying to simply passthrough the dual stereo outputs (Full Mix, M&E), outputting as 48kHz 16bit WAV / uncompressed.
Media Encoder seems to only want to deal with one Stereo pair for output, or multiple mono outputs for more than 2 track output.
Does anyone know how to output 2 stereo pairs rather than 4 x mono tracks??  Any help would be appreciated
Ben

Loop preview is monitored via the Prelisten Channel - channel 256 in the environment Mixer, you can also locate it by setting Mixer view to "All" - so route the Prelisten channel to whatever Output you want it to be. Beware that Surround loops will always playback through the channels set in Logic's sourround preferences.

  • EA3/EA2/EA1 - Script output when creating/altering objects

    Another picky post :)
    I noticed something odd with the script output when altering objects as part of running a script (F5). When running an alter command with more than a two separating characters (ie space, tab or new line) between any of the alter, object type or object name, the object name is not reported in the script output. However, when there is only a single separating character, the object name is reported in the script output. If I have three separating characters between the alter and the object type, the object type isn't reported in the script output either.
    For example:
    alter view  my_view compile;
    alter  view my_view compile;
    alter view my_view compile;
    alter   view my_view compile;Generates the following in script output:
    alter view  succeeded.
    alter  view succeeded.
    alter view my_view succeeded.
    alter   succeeded.When running the first three of these as a statement (F9), the status line shows "alter view Statement Processed". When running the last one, we only get "alter Statement Processed".

    Also noticed that there is a similar problem with create statements, for example:
    create or replace force view my_view as select * from dual;
    create  or replace force view my_view as select * from dual;
    create or  replace force view my_view as select * from dual;
    create or replace  force view my_view as select * from dual;
    create or replace force  view my_view as select * from dual;
    create or replace view my_view as select * from dual;
    create  or replace view my_view as select * from dual;
    create or  replace view my_view as select * from dual;
    create or replace  view my_view as select * from dual;Generates the following script output:
    create or replace force succeeded.
    create  succeeded.
    create or succeeded.
    create or replace  succeeded.
    create or replace force succeeded.
    create or replace view succeeded.
    create  succeeded.
    create or succeeded.
    create or replace  succeeded.Note that in this case the feedback on the status line when running each of these as a statement matches the script output (except succeeded is replaced by Statement Processed).

  • Multiple Stereo Outputs

    I recently bought an audio interface to use along with the built in stereo speakers and at the moment I only have a set of headphones for the audio interface, no monitoring speakers.
    Ideally I'd like to use logic pro with it outputting to both the speakers and the headphones in a controllable manner. I've created an aggregate device but unfortunately I can't seem to get Logic to output while I'm working to both. When I use a bus I can chain the audio for when I'm listening to it on playback but when I'm for example listening to loops, it only comes out one set.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Shaananc

  • How can multiple speaker outputs be created with varying volume levels and retain keyboard master volume control? Multi-output and aggregate both cannot adjust sub-devices and lose keyboard volume control capabilities on my Mac. What's the solution?

    Is it my Mac? Is there software I need? An app perhaps? This seems way too complicated to set up spkrs. I'm attempting to use 2 hdmi and 1 headphone outputs w/ control and varying levels (ie hdmi's quieter than desk spkrs) thanks for suggestions! -Tim

    Hi Tim,
    Not sure since I'm deaf,but if possible I'd think...
    Open Audio Midi Setup in Applications>Utilities, see the input & output options & KHz setting there.

  • Stringing Multiple Songs Together When Creating a VIdeo

    I used to use Final Cut Express to create my videos from my images, but I really like the ease of use and speed of the feature in LR3 that enables me to create video from my images. My issue is that  I need to be able to have three songs in the video and can only see the ability to have one. Am I missing something, or is this a  limitation of the program?

    Below is the original link for the workaround.  It does work.

  • Exporting multiple audio channels from Premiere Pro CS6 in MXF OP1a

    I have a Premiere Pro project with multiple audio channels and I want to export them as individual channels in a MXF-file.
    Method:
    When I created a new sequence I choose "Multichannel" from the "Tracks" page. When I export the MXF OP1a, I choose 8 channels from the "Audio" page. I make sure that none of the channels are muted.
    Result:
    The rendered file contains 8 channels as I want it to, but only the first two channels contains audio (main left + right), the rest of the channels are empty. Channel 1 and 2 contains the audio from all channels, but I want the channels to be seperated in the same way as they are layered in Premiere.
    Any ideas what I can do?
    Thank you for your help!

    Hey Guys,
    I'm having problems exporting an 8 channel audio mxf for a broadcast client. The mix they want is as follows:
    Track 01: Full Programme Mix L
    Track 02: Full Programme Mix R
    Track 03: International Sound L
    Track 04: International Sound R
    Track 05: Music and Effects L
    Track 06: Music and Effects R
    Track 07: VO Mono
    Track 08: Interview Mono
    I have setup the sequence following this video on vimeo and am fairly confident I have the sequence settings correct. https://vimeo.com/38501157
    I also can export a multichannel mxf. But all my tracks are exported as mono and I am therefore not maintaining my L and R as set up in my sequence
    The problem is on exporting that since Tracks 01 and 02 are bounced down to 1 + 2 it means that my Track 01 (Panned L) is getting bounced down onto my Track 02 aswell and thus it does not remain seperate. Has anyone delivered a similar format for a broadcaster and come across this problem with Premiere Pro and know a solution?
    Any help would be much appreciated
    Thanks

  • Is there a way to create multiple BQY output to one of the Job File ?

    Hello,

  • When creating new track in stereo... track opens in mono in arrange window

    Since upgrading to 8.0.2...weird things are happening to previously saved projects. Stereo tracks are opening up mono and affecting following track. When creating new tracks in stereo.... tracks open mono. I don't know if this is due to 8.0.2 but all these freaky things have happening since. Also, when previewing Apple Loops, I can only hear it on one side, but Loops sounds fine once dragged to arrange window. Is this common or is my computer haunted ? Should I call Ghost Busters ? HELP !!! lol

    Hi there,
    I'm having the same problem as well: creating new tracks results in a mono software instrument, not the usual stereo software instrument. BUT... "Universal Track Mode" is already checked in my Audio prefs. I unchecked & rechecked it, but to no avail... I'm still only getting mono software instruments.
    Any other ideas? No changes have been made to my system, and I'm running the latest version of Logic Pro.

  • How to add multiple table when creating add on using b1de

    Hi all,
    Plz help me
    How to add multiple table when creating add on using b1de.
    Thanks

    Hi dns_sap,
    Can you explain a little better what you are trying to accomplish? Is it to create UserTables and UserFields in the database, when the addon runs the first time?
    If so, you can use the following code
    Add User Table
            Try
                Dim lRetCode As Long
                Dim oUDT As SAPbobsCOM.UserTablesMD = oCompany.GetBusinessObject(SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oUserTables)
                oUDT.TableName = TableName
                oUDT.TableDescription = TableDescription
                oUDT.TableType = TableType
                lRetCode = oUDT.Add
                '// Check for error when adding the Table: if lRetCode = 0 the table was created; if lRetCode = -2035 the table already exisits
                If lRetCode <> 0 Then
                    oApplication.MessageBox("Error: " & lRetCode.ToString & ", " & oCompany.GetLastErrorDescription)
                End If
            Catch ex As Exception
                oApplication.MessageBox(oCompany.GetLastErrorDescription)
            Finally
                System.Runtime.InteropServices.Marshal.ReleaseComObject(oUDT)
                oUDT = Nothing
                lRetCode = Nothing
                GC.Collect()
            End Try
    Add User Field
    Try
                Dim lRetCode As Long
                Dim oUDF As SAPbobsCOM.UserFieldsMD = oCompany.GetBusinessObject(SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oUserFields)
                oUDF.TableName = TableName
                oUDF.Name = FieldName
                oUDF.Description = FieldDescription
                oUDF.Type = FieldType
                lRetCode = oUDF.Add
                '// Check for error when adding the field: if lRetCode = 0 the field was created; if lRetCode = -2035, the field already exists
                If lRetCode <> 0 Then
                    oApplication.MessageBox("Error: " & oCompany.GetLastErrorCode & ", " & oCompany.GetLastErrorDescription)
                End If
            Catch ex As Exception
                oApplication.MessageBox(oCompany.GetLastErrorDescription)
            Finally
                System.Runtime.InteropServices.Marshal.ReleaseComObject(oUDF)
                oUDF = Nothing
                lRetCode = Nothing
                GC.Collect()
            End Try

  • Multiple MBEWH records created when creating new material with BAPI

  • Multiple events created in R3 when creating sales order

    Hi all,
    We are having a problem when creating and changing a sales order in CRM.
    When a sales order is created and rapidly changed (or changed more than one time) from CRM, backend is receiving 2 events (from BO BUS2032, CREATED and CHANGED) but at the same time (not even a second of difference between them).
    So the WF that is linked to that event is triggered twice (we are checking if another WF instance is running, but as this 2 events are generated at the same time, the WF instances didn't notice the other instance).
    Do you know if there is a way to solve this problem?
    Thanks!

    Hello
    In everyworkflow there is a tab where you define if you want certain event to be triggered. I think it would be enough to de activate this triggering event.
    Go to transaction PFTC, enter your workflow ID and choose tab "triggering events". You should have a green light for both BUS2032 -CREATED and CHANGED. Click on the event you want to de activate.

  • Multiple Stereo Pairs in Compressor

    Hi,
    I'm having a problem with exporting fcp projects and getting the correct audio on output.
    The fcp project has multiple, normally 2 stereo pairs (4 tracks in total). When I send the project to compressor I have a preset setup to create a quicktime mov, using the mpeg imx 625/50 as the video codec, and getting the correct audio codec is where I am having a problem, if I select pass through as the audio setting. When I apply it to the project it changes to 3.1 (L,R,lfe,C) Linear PCM, 32 bit, 48k,(the PCM and 48k at least are correct the res is not) it appears to me when pass through is selected it selects what it thinks is the correct settings that it has. Of all the settings that are available everything can be changed apart from the channel configuration, there is no option available that gives me the correct result. 4.0 (L,R,C,Cs) comes closest (audio levels remain the same, stereo pairing is lost, becomes 4 discreet channels in fcp)
    Has anyone encountered the same problem? Anyone have any ideas how I can get this correctly configured?
    I need the output to be(taken from an existing file exported in fcp in quicktime)
    Apple MPEG IMX 625/50 (50 Mb/s), 720 x 576, Millions
    24-bit Integer (Little Endian), Stereo, 48.000 kHz
    24-bit Integer (Little Endian), Stereo, 48.000 kHz
    Thanks in advance

    Ben, who has a pretty good batting average round here, probably meant to say "That's the H.264 limitation when using Compressor."
    Multiple audio tracks in H.264 seems to only be possible using third party applications but I'm making this statement only after superficial research, never tried it myself and I have only limited experience with Episode, never even heard of the other products you mention.
    Your experience with multiple track output in H.264 trumps that of the elitists and I appreciate you starting the thread, Steve; I learn something new here every day if I pay attention.

  • When creating a table why should we give promary key

    when creating a table why should we give promary key

    Hi Rambabu,
    Primary key is needed so as to avoid duplicate entries and ensure that there are unique entries in the table.
    For some applications, it is useful to uniquely identify the rows in a table by one or more columns so that you can process them in a specified sequence, for example. You can do this by assigning a “primary key.” The column names that are to create the table key are represented by the keywords PRIMARY KEY. The input values of the key columns defined in this way must not be a NULL value.
    You can use the primary key to insert rows in a table in the same way as you insert rows in a base table when no primary key is defined. However, the system outputs an error message if you attempt to insert an existing value into the primary key column a second time, since the uniqueness of the column is ensured by defining the primary key.
    A primary key can consist of multiple columns. However, it is unusual for a key to be constructed from more than five columns, since this makes it difficult for users to enter unique values. The arrangement of the columns behind the keywords PRIMARY KEY defines the key sequence.

  • What does "The operation could not be completed because an error occurred when creating frame 0 (error -1)." mean, and why does it keep happening?

    So I've been trying to export a video file from Motion 5 (and FCPX), and I keep recieving the message "The operation could not be completed because an error occurred when creating frame 0 (error -1)". I've found the problem has something to do with a video file in the project, Ive tried multiple versions of said file, in multiple formats (.mov, h264, etc.), and I keep getting the same result.  The file was originaly a 640x480 wmv file. Any suggestions?

    I ended up figuring out a solution, but I'll get to that in a sec.
    To answer your question, I converted the .wmv file in a program called Media Converter (available in the App store), and converted it to an h.264 file (then later to a .mov file, and then to an .mpg). I could view the file, and work with it in projects, but any project I tried to output with any version of said file, would result in the afor mentioned message, with the same results in FCPX (and Compressor 4 as well).  I tried multiple frame rates, resolutions, files types, re-converting the file, all with no luck.  My impression from said experiments, and reading other discussions was that it was a corrupt file.
    Then I got frisky...and a little desperate. I brought the converted file (the .wmv to .mov) into Motion 4... and an export worked first try.  So I exported a pro-res file from Motion 4, and used that file in the already built Motion 5 project, and voila!
    So, who knows what that means in real terms, as for the whats and whys.
